2013 Honda CR-V Reviews

I love my Honda CR-V! I first got this car when it was only about 2 years old, back in 2015. It seemed to be the next big thing in terms of SUVs back then and I was thrilled with all that the car had offered me. It provides exceptional comfort, especially during cross country road trips, and it has a very good fuel efficient set up. I can go up to 400 miles in my car until I have to fill up the gas tank again. The Honda CR-V is an extremely reliable car that has always been there for me when I need. There have rarely been any mishaps with this car, where I can always count on it to get me where I need to be at the right time. It has never once failed on me and has only become stronger over the years. It even includes a navigation system and rear view camera that was so way ahead of its time that it feels like a new car every time I walk into it. For being a 7 year old car, it is quite the trooper.

I have the middle trim package which includes Bluetooth, four wheel drive and a sunroof. The car is very versatile I enjoy the way all seats fold completely flat in the back. I notice there are a lot of similar vehicles on the road. The car also drives well in northeastern United States winters. The initial set of tires on the car had to be replaced after 26,000 miles. There have been no major or minor mechanical problems since I owned the vehicle which is one of the main reasons I purchased the vehicle.

My Honda CR-V has been very reliable and with little problems. I take it in once a year for servicing and outside that I have only had one instance where my battery died. The car has real leather seats and a very spacious backseat/trunk making it a very comfortable car. The gas mileage is pretty good and the car takes cheaper gas which is another plus. The voice command technology however is terrible and the touch screen is a little slow but that could be because the car is nearly 8 years old.

My CR-V is great for all weather conditions and does really well in the snow. I like the economy feature that allows me to save on gas. The car is spacious and adaptable since the back seats fold down. It makes it easy to move furniture or larger items. It also is enough space to go to the drive in theater with. Driving is smooth and easy. I like the lumbar support in addition to the different variation in seat and wheel movement. The heated leather seats are also great in the winter. The sunroof is a nice touch and is great for summer days. The leather does not get too hot, even with the sun roof. The stereo is good with the basic package, upgrading to Bluetooth calling is a must. There is plenty of storage in the vehicle which is great for those who like to be well prepared. It is easy to keep clean and is very durable. I find that the seats are comfortable and the leg room is spacious even for taller passengers. I have used this vehicle on many road trips and find that it is exactly the vehicle you need for a trip.

I purchased the CR-V with the built-in navigation system, which I love, and that particular trim package also came with XM radio capability, heated seats and a back-up camera. These are all items that I never would have thought to add on, but now I do not know how I lived without them for so long. I do wish there was some kind of automatic update for the navigation system rather than having to purchase a manual upgrade periodically, especially since it never seems fully up-to-date with all road and location changes. The mileage is reasonable, and I love the AWD for the northeast winters. That combined with the anti-lock brakes and stability control has proven indispensable time and again. I find the car quite comfortable to drive, but my big & tall boyfriend finds the passenger seating area to be a bit cramped. I do keep it regularly maintained at the dealership, and additional wear and tear repairs have been minimal. In general, this car has not disappointed me. As my fourth consecutive Honda (out of the five cars I have owned in my life), it has satisfactorily continued my enduring and reliable relationship with the Honda brand.

We switched to the Honda CR-V after our Nissan maxima started nickel and diming us to the point where it wasn’t worth the constant repairs. We have been very happy with the CR-V so far. It has 4wd which gives me a bit of confidence when driving in the elements. It is big enough that we can store most of our son’s baby gear (stroller, high chair, etc) in the back. Gas mileage is pretty good as well. Vehicle handles well and the brakes are not too sticky. We may have to upgrade to a van when we decide to add to our family in a couple of years.

The car is very comfortable and has a lot of storage room. The navigation system is very useful I especially like all of the compartments for storing things in the car, and the center console is very useful. My model has seat warmers, which I love using in the cold weather months. I also like the Bluetooth features. One of my only complaints about the car is that doors do not all unlock when you put the car in park. For some this may be seen as a safety feature, but for me it is an annoyance.

I absolutely love my car. I previously owned a Mazda tribute and absolutely hated that car. I knew that I wanted a Honda and when I test drive the CR-V there was absolutely no doubt. It rides incredibly smooth, is spacious - so a great family car and is great on gas. I drive a long distance for work and fill up about once every week and a half. It is great in inclement weather. I have heated seats in mine, which I love! The driver's seat has so many options for making the seat most comfortable for you. It is also really easy to install and remove a car seat, which was super important for us. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone. I love it so much I convinced my best friend to buy one and she did!

This car is my dream vehicle! I've always wanted a Honda, due to the large number of miles they go and how few repairs are needed. We bought our vehicle used with 40k miles on it, for $20k, so it was a great deal. Obviously, we do oil and lube jobs regularly. This will require more money, as you have to use synthetics. We've replaced tires numerous times (some of these were due to the place we bought the tires from) and we have replaced the front and rear brake pads and the rear brake rotors. We've put 70k miles on it in the nearly 4 years we've had it. It's a great fit for our family which is tall, and my mother in law finds it easy to get into (and she does have some health issues which can affect her mobility). Except for maintenance, we've had no issues with this car. I will definitely replace this car with another Honda!

My CR-V has five seats, all leather. It comes with a spacious trunk, and has Bluetooth capabilities. The car has all wheel drive so it does really well in the snow and ice, especially when driving on the passes. It also does exceptionally well off-roading a bit in terms of getting to lesser known hikes. The vehicle has front and rear wipers and high and low beams. I have always had Honda vehicles and they have always been safe and reliable, especially their midsize SUVs with all wheel drive and traction control.

This is an amazing car! I have had the vehicle myself for about 5 years and there have been no issues to come up. I love that it has an eco button that can conserve my gas and a backup camera. The only thing that I wish was better would be the dashboard size and some dashboard features. Also, when watching a video in the car through Bluetooth, the sounds and video does not link up. But those are really just small things. I love this car either way!

I really do not have any major complaints other than I shouldn't have chosen black leather in the southern heat. Other than that I do not have any major complaints. I am absolutely in love with the gas mileage because it is so incredible and is still pretty cheap to fill up the tank too. The cargo hold and the folding rear seat row give me plenty of room for groceries and anything else I need to transport. And the seats fold down with just the pull of two levers which is so easy. The drive is so smooth and it really holds up under wear and tear. Honda has always been the go to brand for my family and I and this vehicle has been no different.

Overall, my Honda CR-V has been a great versatile vehicle. The size is just right: I am able to park in small parallel/regular parking spaces, yet I am able to fit many items in the car when going on vacation or even moving. In terms of seating, there is plenty of legroom and elbow room. The backup camera is a feature I couldn't live without and the Bluetooth connect feature is used almost every time I am in the vehicle. There have been some problems with my transmission software that cause infrequent shaking upon acceleration and the vehicle lacks some pick-up-and-go when accelerating. However, these negatives definitely do not outweigh the positives with this vehicle.
