Honda CR-V My Review, I love it!

2018 Honda CR-V Base

I love my taillight design because of the new shape, I feel like it looks very futuristic. I also like the engine power because it is relatively small, but has a great deal of power and doesn't waste gas. I really like the rims because in my opinion they look sporty and the tires are nice and thick. My car looks very stylish and I feel proud driving it around. As for my interior, the seats look great and more importantly they are super comfortable to sit in. I feel like they are the most comfortable seats I've sat in any car. You can also set the seat to your exact comfort level depending on how far forward you want to sit. It's also really easy to open/ lock the car. I've been driving this car for several months now. I should add there is a 5-inch display screen which is nice, but there is no sunroof. The doors and sides also have soft touch surfaces on all of the most important areas that your arms and hands will be touching. The trim on the seats are very attractive, but are also quite supportive. Driving for long periods of time hasn't been a problem for me. Part of why my dad recommended this car to me is because of its reputation for being extremely safe. It is a good first car and hasn't done me wrong yet. While it is not sport-sport, it's definitely useful for somewhat rough terrain. Long drives are pretty comfortable and smooth for me.

The perfect 'mom' car for any age driver looking for a safe, sustainable car.

2018 Honda CR-V LX

Absolutely love my Honda CR-V. It drives great and the gas mileage on it is wonderful. It only takes about $25-$30 to fill up the whole tank and it lasts me about 2-3 weeks. The back of the car is super spacious for when I have a full car of people or for packing up the car for vacations, trips, or transporting things. My only problem is that I picked the car in black and it is a pain to keep clean. The dirt and dust show up no matter how much I clean it. Other than that, it drives super smooth and is an easy car to maneuver. It does not feel too 'clunky' to drive and was the perfect car to learn to drive in since it's small enough to fit easily in the parking spaces. For any maintenance issues, Honda generally fixes them pretty fast and the only problem I've ever had was a piece falling off the gear shift, but I took it in as soon as it happened and it was fixed within the next 30 minutes. Comfort wise, the car is very spacious and comfy for the driver and other passengers. Having a black exterior and interior does make it very hot but the AC system cools it down quickly, which is very much needed and appreciated when living in hot places. Overall, I love my Honda CR-V and would recommend it to anyone.

Three problems with my Honda CR-V.

2018 Honda CR-V EX

I have owned three Hondas in the past that I loved and had zero problems with. I also did a TON of research on different brands of AWD vehicles before purchasing my current vehicle. My CR-V has just over 20,000 miles on it. I love it except for three things as follows: 1. The high beams are not that great, but I think this could be resolved with different bulbs. 2. The radio malfunctions. I have spoken to both the dealership and Honda Corporate about this issue. They both told me it is a software/chip/update issue that the radio's manufacturer and Honda are working on. They are fighting me on replacing my radio because the issue only happens intermittently and they cannot duplicate it. This really angers me because a lot of owners are having this problem per my research on the internet. 3. I just received a letter from Honda informing me, that because of some type of engine issue, the warranty has been extended on the drivetrain. At this point I have very little confidence in my CR-V and I am seriously thinking of selling it after having it for only 1.5 years. I am a person that keeps their cars for over 10 years. I am extremely disappointed with Honda and do not trust their products like I use to.
