Reasonably priced, drives good.
No complaints. Roomy, easy to take care of, no major issues with repairs, the seats and the floor are easy to clean.

It's a hotel on wheels. It does not get the greatest gas mileage, but the usefulness of the vehicle makes the MPG not matter
I like that it is spacious. I am able to travel in it very well and it is great for putting the dogs in.

Great car for an active family to take on adventures
160000 miles and still going strong. Has been a great car for our family of 4. Lots of legroom in the back seat and plenty of storage in the back

Why Honda Element is the Safest Out There
I like the safety and durability of my car the most. It has been through many accidents and I have always been unharmed. One other thing I love is how easy it is to take this car camping or to any outdoor activities. The square look is not the best but it is reliable.

Toaster
2008 SC, manual 150,000 miles decent gas mileage 30mpg, plenty of power,, fun to drive... Great on road trips plenty of storage, very roomy, we use it like a truck hauled full size sofa no problem washer and dryer. I ... I always come back to Honda reliable Easy to maintain.... Bought the element to replace the disapointing Mercedes....

The vehicle gets very good mileage.
It is very room. A very safe vehicle. Excellent on gas.

It's great for hauling smaller cargo and drives smooth.
I really like my car. It's not the best if you plan on taking a trip with more than three other people, but other than that it runs well.

Small vehicle with lots of space
The Element is a sturdy vehicle with a large amount of space! Lots of head and foot room for tall or large people. Great storage and seats in back fold up or can be removed. Only negative, not great with gas mileage.

Its comfortable and spacious.
The car is very spacious and has plenty of room for luggage and friends. It is also great for hauling band gear around. There was a recent recall on the airbags so make sure if you buy one used it has been brought into the dealer and updated.

It is perfect for carrying things and staying clean.
It is a manual transmission, which I don't love. It is very handy for carrying things. The shape and size mean it is not very fuel efficient.

Love my Element and it's functionality
I really love my element the only things I have had to do to it is replace exterior light bulbs. The engine light recently came on because one of the fuel sensors failed. It has been reliable. I love the utility of the folding seats. I wish there was better storage in the back for the spare tire /tools.

That it is reliable, fun, and did I mention that the seats can fold down so that it can turn into a bedroom.
I like how it has 4 wheel drive. It can turn into a room that you can sleep in if you want. It handles pretty well. I am a bit disappointed with the gas mileage.

How to keep up on the maintenance on the rig.
I like the gas mileage. That it has plenty of room. I don't like that it looks like a toaster. I don't like that it sticks out at night.

Great Car for Adventures and Traveling
My car is very durable and good for traveling, but it is not good for families, because there is not enough seating space.

The Honda element is a cute and fun car that is multi-functional.
I love the Honda element - I have owned three of them bu this is an lx - my other two were ex's. This one has a suspension problem that no one has been able to fix. It has an alignment problem. It is great looking and I can haul anything in it but it is a scary drive.

Complete Package. Best Decision
I have had my Element for over 6 years. The most durable, reliable car I've ever owned. The interior space as wee easy to clean features are amazing. I have had no issues my car sits at 135k miles. I wish she had a sunroof or moonroof. Upgraded from a civic and couldn't be happier

The exciting elements of driving an element.
A wonderful blend of comfort, practicality and dependability. Compact and roomy. Versatile. A perfect urban vehicle and a delightful suburban traveler. The seats are adaptable to accommodate cargo space. It rides high to give great visual acuity to drivers. Love it!

Multiple uses. It acts as a truck, and SUV all simultaneously
I love my vehicle. It's so flexible. It can haul large items and then go right back to feeling like an SUV. No carpet so keeping it clean is as easy as spraying it out with a waterhose. Also, it gets great gas mileage
accountCircle Peter T on August 28, 2020
The Element gets great gas mileage and a tank of gas will usually last me for two weeks.
Seats 4. Save. Rough ride. Uncomfortable in back seat. Great gas mileage. Sure makes a lot of noise.
accountCircle Jill P on August 12, 2020
Good for small kids and babies!
My car has never broken down. It is very reliable and easy to drive and park. We take it camping a lot as it is easy to pack with a tailgate. Also, my car is not low like a car or high like a truck. It is a perfect in between. The kids like riding in the back because of the stadium seats. They are not staring at the back of my head or kicking my seat.

Honda element. Reliable and great for hauling.
I love this car! It is the first car I have had that I can haul things in. Because of its body shape, it has a large cargo area. This car has been very reliable. I have only had to do the routine maintenance and nothing else. It has a rougher ride than most sedans, but it is not uncomfortable. There are two negative things: slow pick up and go, which I knew when I bought it, and many blind spots, which is common in Honda vehicles.

Honda element, bring it back.
We love our Honda element it has lasted longer than any other car we have owned and it gets great gas mileage. We love that it has no carpet but is completely lined with a one piece rubber mat. It has a huge sunroof and the rear seats lay flat and you can look up and see the sky. The rear seats also fold up to the sides so you can haul things in the back for any project. It still looks new and we get compliments on it all the time. The biggest complaint I have is that they stopped making them, they need to bring them back.
accountCircle bobbi J on July 13, 2020
Inside are all water resistant so you can spray down the insides to clean.
I have had no major problems with my element. It is spacious- the best part being the two seats in the back flatten and lift up to the sides to along a big item to fit. I have fit a dresser in it before. The only downfall I see is it only has 4 seats and 4 seatbelts.

The flexible, versatile, funky looking car
My Element has been reliable with just regular maintenance. It is super flexible in terms of configuration and how I want to use the space. Whether I leave the seats up and in the car or remove them, it is easy to change.

It fits in a compact parking space, but is big enough inside that I moved an entire kitchen pantry with all the doors shut
My only complaint is the line of sight is a little strange, but I love this car. It is the best I have ever owned. It's comfy, I can transport my kids safely, but can also haul a good deal. I moved everything but my bed in this car a few years ago

I enjoy the rear seats being able to be pulled up. The rugged cloth material on The seats is amazing bc of my dogs. Dislike the door style but it is okay. Also very basic vehicle also

It is extremely useful for camping and road trips.
It's great for camping. The back seats come out or fold up. The seats can be folded down and joined to create two narrow beds. There's tons of space. The only bummer is that we've had to fix both front side windows because of the glass falling inside the door.

The safety features are the absolute best!!
I bought a Honda element almost 10 years ago primarily due to the amazing safety features. I have 2 young children and their safety is my main concern. I also love that Honda cars are reliable and will last well over 200, 000 miles. I had a difficult time finding one as they are hard to find due to people not selling them. I would buy a Honda element again!!

This is a sport utility vehicle.
Car drives very bumpy and lacks storage in the interior. There is no carpet so your belonging fly everywhere. Since there is no carpet floors are easy to clean. Driving is not comfortable. The car versatile. Rear seats can fold up or be removed for extra space in back.

2008 Honda Element well loved
Standard features. Aftermarket LCD Pioneer touch screen entertainment system. 96,000 miles. Drives well. Less than 10,000 miles each year since 2015. Regular oil changes and tire replacements. Brakes replaced last year. Never had any issues with the car

Easy to Maintain; Trouble-Free!
I like its practicality. Easy to drive, park and keep clean. If you have pets, it is easy to maintain. Have had zero problems in 11 years. Color is bright so easy to find in a parking lot. Minimum gadgets. No fuss. I wish they still made new ones. I would buy it again. No carpet to worry about.

Overall I love the vehicle. It is my covered truck.
The only problems I have had is with the cosmetic falling off or breaking. The ride is great. The back seat is great. It sits higher than the front. I love the hatch back. The gas mileage could be better but overall it's good. I like how the back seats fold flat then up leaving a lot of storage room. I don't like that there is no trunk to hide your purse or anything you would not want visible.

This is a very versatile car. You can camp in it, take back seats out, strap kayaks to roof. It is good on gas mileage and has ample power to go over mountain grades. Wish they still made this car??.

It is a bit high off the ground so it isn't easy to drive on really windy days but otherwise it is a great car.
I like that it has pretty good gas mileage and a high ground clearance. I don't like the special key that you can only get from the dealership if you need another key since they charge you about $100 for a key you can get for $1 at a key shop because it has a sensor in it which is unnecessary.
accountCircle Carla M on September 27, 2019
On of the most important things would be the space between seats.
The element has great space for a compact SUV. The seats are super comfortable. I own the one with no carpet which I absolutely love.

I love unique look of my car. The back loading area is my favorite.
It gets me where I need to go, it is roomy and has lots of storage area in the back. It is not necessarily the most comfortable car but the positives out way that. I will be driving this car until it absolutely falls apart, which will not be for many years.

That the Honda Element is a safe and reliable vehicle.
I like the safety features of all Hondas. It is a very reliable vehicle, it is over ten years old and has given me little problems over the years. My only complaint is the back ("suicide") doors are sometimes inconvenient.

Comfortable and reliable compact SUV.
My element is still running after more than 300, 000 miles, a testament to Honda's quality. It is roomy and comfortable. There have been some issues with the air conditioning, and there was an issue with the passenger-side airbag, which the dealership fixed for free.

Good around town vehicle.
Very reliable. Almost 100k miles on it at this point and only had to get new brakes and tires. It is a 4-cylinder, so not the best performance, but it is nice to drive around town. The seats are comfortable, though not luxury. There is plenty of room in the back when you flip the back seats up. I have moved twin mattresses in it with no problem. Power windows, door locks, and mirrors. CD player and radio. It has a audio jack, but no USB. It has a cigarette lighter. It is good for hauling pets and kids.

You can put a hose in the car to wash out the interior.
The vehicle drives great and is good on mileage. No problems with the car. The only negative is there is a large blind spot on the sides. Has a lot of room to transport things. It has been great for moving and buying large items. Rear seats can be completely removed.

I call my Element the Toaster. It is incredibly reliable. It has given me no trouble. It has solid rubber floor mats for easy cleaning, and I have no complaints.
accountCircle Melissa L on June 6, 2019
Because my vehicle has no upholstery, it is very easy to clean (especially with a dog who rides a lot and sheds frequently). It gets decent gas mileage for a vehicle of its size, and I like that I can fold up the back seats to get storage space. My only complaint is that it can be uncomfortable to ride in -- the seats are oddly shaped and it's easy to feel bumps as you go over them.
It's versatile and low-maintenance. Good if you need more cargo space on occasion or if you're a pet owner.

They need to bring the element back an amazing car
I love my Honda every once in awhile I think I'm getting a new one but don't want to give it up so easy to maintain and keep clean and has lots of room for hauling treasures and toys. I've had to do very little maintenance on it except for the standard oil changes tire rotations etc have no complaints with the performance could not ask for a better vehicle. The interior with the rubber floors is a genius idea have been able to keep it clean we'll never get another car with carpeting

Honda element, my go to transport!
I have been totally happy with my Honda element. It has served me well and I am now over 175, 000 miles. The key, I found, was to have regular maintenance checks, etc. Honda is an excellent car manufacturer. I purchased the element because I am an artist and have to convey art displays from place to place. I do not do that as much now, but I also have two dogs who inhabit the back when I go on trips or errands. I have never used the back seats. My personal opinion is that they are not needed. After 10 years, I have never used them. I was living in the mountains when I purchased the car, so that is why I like the four wheel drive. However, now that I live at the beach, it is not necessary. I have used this car like a workhorse and thankfully have not had major problems. I highly recommend it!

The Element is higher off the ground than any sedan I ever had. Its a Honda, so it lasts forever. No really problems. Have had to replace the tires, but with good maintenance, no other major issue. Comfort is great for the front seats, but a bit uncomfortable getting in and out of the back. It's an older vehicle now, doesn't have all the bells and whistles as the new vehicles do.
It's a Honda and they last forever and ever. YES!!

Honda element general review.
I really enjoy my vehicle, my Honda has good gas mileage and it has responsive brakes. The main problem that I run into with my car are the blind spots. There are two main ones towards the middle of the car because of the two large panels on either side. But other than that I find the car to be reliable and safe if I were to get into an accident. The car is roomy and comfortably fits four people and quite a few bags. Also the seats in the back can fold up to provide even more room.

Best quality, fun to drive and roomy!
This car is amazing. No carpets to stain, great gas mileage, roomy, accelerates nicely. Quality is great, have put little money into maintaining besides tires and brakes. Just did timing belt at 127,000. You have to get used to the suicide doors when parking close to others.

I have never really had any problems with the car. It is very reliable. Gets great gas mileage, family friendly, great for outdoor adventuring. You can actually car camp easily in this car, seats recline to be able to sleep inside the car. It is made to clean easily inside as well with the fabrics that are used. The suicide doors take a little getting used to.

Very easy to maintain inside and out, no carpet, all rubber mat.
It has been a very dependable and safe car. It drives well and gets great gas mileage. It is all wheel drive so you are required to replace at least 2 tires and preferably all four so if you get a nail in one it is a bit pricey but well worth the all wheel drive functionality. It is very roomy and the rear seats fold up to the sides if you need to haul anything. Also it is completely rubber mats no carpet on the inside, so easy to clean. The rear seats are a little high so if you are over 6' your head does touch the ceiling but in the front it is very comfortable and bucket seating.

Truthfully this car is great! The only frequent problems I have is due to the fact I bought it used so I was bound to have that issue.
