2009 Honda Fit- Pretty dang good

2009 Honda Fit Sport Electric

Generally, I really enjoy my car. It was perfect when I was single and did not have a child. It has been extremely reliable, other than the motor of the windshield wiper fluid dispenser (?) going out within the first 6 months. I have otherwise not had any issues with the car. While driving the car, my only complaint is that, while on a bend there is a large blind spot due to the thickness of the strip between the windshield and drivers side window. There was a bend by my old home that I had to take very carefully because if someone were crossing the street from the left, they would constantly be in the blindspot until they were in front of you. I had to ensure I was watching out my window rather than my windshield while on turns like that. Otherwise, the car has held up very well over the past 10 years. I don't recall having to do any work on it at all other than regular maintenance (which I have been poor about doing regularly and the car forgives me for it). The only reason that I may be upgrading in the future is the back seat is a little snug for car seats. With one child, it's not a big deal because I can push the passenger seat all the way forward. When I have to put a second carseat in, I am unsure of how it will fit because I cannot push the driver's side seat all the way forward and still be able to comfortably drive. Also, not that my husband routinely has to drive, but my husband is 6'5' and barely fits in the driver's seat without 'eating his knees'. It is not a reason to upgrade my car at this time but it is something to consider when purchasing my next car that would prevent me from choosing a Honda Fit again. Overall, I love my car. It just does not necessarily a family car narrative, which I haven't seen it advertised as such anyway. I feel it's pretty perfect for their target audience.

Ten year old, orange Fit!

2009 Honda Fit Sport Electric

This is the first and only car I have ever owned, and after ten years it is still running like a champ! The car has stayed comfortable, and continues to be good on gas. A newer development in the last 2 years is the paint is definitely starting to need some love, but after ten years in the Florida sun it still isn't that bad. I have been hit in the car 2 times plus 1 other time it got hit in a parking lot when I was not inside, but it has kept me safe every time. I always say when I am eventually forced to get rid of this car, I will just buy a Honda fit again.

One of the best vehicles money can buy!

2009 Honda Fit Sport Electric

This car is great for everyday driving. It is very spacious, comfortable, and reliable. This car drives smoothly and handles excellent. It gets great gas mileage in city and highway and is very inexpensive for maintenance. Has 3 cupholders, 2 gloveboxes, DC power outlet, USB connection, power windows and power locks. Rear seats fold down and hatchback lifts wide open for easy loading and transport of large items. Overall a very good vehicle.

The fit is small enough to park everywhere while holding almost everything!

2009 Honda Fit Sport Electric

I love the gas mileage and compatibility. I have had some major issues with the ignition coils burning themselves out and the spark plugs being pulled out with the ignition coils. The Honda fit has a lot of cup holders and secret compartments. It can fit almost anywhere and hold almost everything. I have moved myself across country in my Honda fit twice now and have had a great experience.

Great vehicle except for that one thing.

2009 Honda Fit Sport Electric

It is a great vehicle. Drives like a charm. It is great on gas. Very reliable. My only real complaint is that the fan motor has an electrical problem that is quite expensive to fix and is common in the 2009 model. It is either full blast or no fan blowing at all. Honda is aware and refuses to issue a recall to fix. If that wasn't a problem, I would give the vehicle 5 stars.

The Honda fit Sport is the right car for you!

2009 Honda Fit Sport Electric

Honda Fit Sport is an excellent car. The interior is very roomy inside although the fit is a compact car! Hyundai are always reliable and long lasting. The Honda fit is great on gas mileage, especially on the freeway. Its is very comfortable to drive and fits in the tiniest parking spaces. I highly recommend this vehicle!

2009 Honda Fit Sport Electric

it is really strong and economic, I have a good performance in the road, and is very comfortable, in all this year's I just have to change the battery 1 time, and it let me know when it need any maintenance, and very easy to do it, you can get all the parts that you need for it at any time

Is the Honda fit a good fit for you?

2009 Honda Fit Sport Electric

Very reliable, fun to drive, conserves gas, great for urban settings. Not the best power, but enough to get you through traffic. Great gas mileage. Brakes need replacement often. Oil changes do not occur to often. All around a great little car for urban setting and getting to and from.

A Honda Fit is the car to fit your needs

2009 Honda Fit Sport Electric

The Honda Fit has plenty of room, it is basically a mini truck. My Honda Fit has been totally reliable. I never worry about having a breakdown. It gets over 30 miles to the gallon of gas and purrs like a kitten. I would highly recommend it if you are thinking of purchasing a new.

Amazing small reliable Car

2009 Honda Fit Sport Electric

Small reliable car! Easy to use. Very smooth. Easy to maintain & clean. Fills up gas tank with like 33 bucks. Nice family car. Able to park in small spaces since the car is small. Insurance on car is not high at all. Great car to teach one how to drive. I really recommend this car.

Honda Fit: it's a good car, worth investing in

2009 Honda Fit Sport Electric

It's a smaller car which is good and bad, can park it almost anywhere but it's definitely cozy. Which I don't mind cause I'm not very big. It gets really good gas mileage, about $20 for a tank. It's also really easy to find the parts to fix it if you have a problem.

Honda fits are amazing little cars.

2009 Honda Fit Sport Electric

The best little car, the seats fold up for more room, great gas mileage and turns on a dime, Hondas run forever. It is very comfortably on the inside and very roomy for head space, a great car to take on trips and mine has paddle shifters which make it really fun.
