A smaller, smooth ride that prioritizes efficiency over power.
Reliable, good mpg. Only issue I have seen is that vehicle can be slow to accelerate. I average about 48 mpg year round. I have found that city mpg is actually slightly higher than highway mpg. I fill up about once every two weeks and only pay about $20 per tank.

Honda 2019 insight- great on safety!
One of the best cars I have ever owned. It rides extremely smooth and has a great noise cancelling feature that makes for a quiet drive. I also really enjoy the safety features. I will never bump into the cars in front of me due to the automatic brake system. Very roomy and good storage in the trunk too.

Hybrids are great! This car is my first hybrid and I am very impressed!
Reliable vehicle, great mileage for being a hybrid. Smooth driving and nice features. Maintenance is kept track by the car which is nice because it will tell you when it is time to get an oil change etc. The gas mileage is incredible and it is very inexpensive to fill up the gas tank.

Performance and great savings at the pump!

It's a hybrid that features sports mode and eco boost.
Great reliable car really comfortable it is a hybrid so it has great mpg. I haven't had any problems with the car the only thing is that if one of my headlights were to die it is really expensive to replace. I didn't buy any upgrade to it so it only has standard Bluetooth and radio with an aux cord.

Love my new Honda insight!!
I usually buy the Honda accord but decided this time on the insight and love it! I purchased it in may, it has great mileage!! 55 miles per gallon. I was spending about 30.00 a week on gas but now about 15.00. It has about 7100 miles now with no problems. It has pretty to good pick-up for a small car and I feel safe in it.

First family car - comfortable and reliable.
The Honda insight is reliable and economically/environmentally sound vehicle. This car carried my wife and I safely across the USA without incident. The safety features are welcome additions and the car always feels secure. It is also worth mentioning that the car is spacious and comfortable.

Great mileage, great safety.
The insight's greatest strength is its excellent gas mileage, followed closely by the safety features. Like all new Honda's, it has Honda sense, which has adaptive cruise control, lane-keeping assist, and automatic braking, kind of like the really early versions of tesla autopilot. The impact crash ratings are excellent as well. The car is very quiet on the road, especially in ev mode, and is comfortable for even someone as tall as myself (6'2'). The ride is smooth and it handles well.

After using this car,Was Losing conscious, lost strength in right arm, feel disoriented
Since I purchased a car in August 2019. I started losing consciousness while driving and once total lost consciousness. Called ambulance. I lost strength on right arm. I felt disoriented. I return the car with a big monetary loss.

Gas mileage
I bought the 2019 Insight because of the advertised 50 mpg.The best I’ve ever got was 42 and currently I’m getting 35 mpg. I took it in to service and was told there was nothing wrong and 35 was within the correct range. Very disappointed in Honda.

Good car, great gas mileage.
Pros: great gas mileage. Eco-friendly and cheap to fuel up. It is a hybrid. Decent looking car. Comfortable ride. Very reliable. Cons: does not have great acceleration. Struggles going up big hills. Does not seem to like going over 75 mph. Mpg goes down in the winter time due to having to run the heater. If you want to add a hitch receiver onto the car, it is extremely difficult to find one that will actually fit due to the car being a hybrid and having a different underside than normal.

Safety features could be the best part of this car.
Great safety features that are foolproof on new roads. Once you get to older roads the lane keep assist can activate when you are in the lane breaking the car slightly for you and alerting you that you are leaving your lane. It can be a very annoying feature if you live in an older area with roads that are uneven.

Fuel efficient. Elegant. Sports mode. Apple CarPlay. Beautiful interior. Hybrid.
Love the fuel efficiency on this vehicle. 10 gallon tank goes a long way with use of battery vs fuel. The only downfall would be how loud the engine gets because of the transmission type. The interior is luxurious and has all the electronic elements you'd look for in a new car. Pairs with apple carplay which is such an awesome feature. Security features are top notch. Overall this car is a great investment have had it since it came out with no issues what's so ever.

Honda insight review/ gas.
Very comfortable and I feel very safe while driving. Never had any problems. Have had it for over a year and I am still in love. The best thing about this car is the mileage. I have never had to fill up my tank for more than twenty dollars and on a full tank I get around four hundred miles.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Neil A.

It is a hybrid and gets excellent mpg at almost 50. It has lots of safety features including lane assist, adaptive cruise control, auto high beams, and collision alert and avoidance. It has a big trunk for storage with a built-in liner. It is reasonably priced.

likeFilled Nicole S.

The main pro of this vehicle for me is the great gas mileage, it is also very cheap to fill up the tank too. I have never paid over $25 and the least being $17 for a full tank of gas. It has eco friendly driving so you can save gas and the environment while driving. Another pro for me would have to be it running off energy. Sometimes I wait a little too long to fill up on gas but I can just switch it over to ev mode and it'll run off the battery no gas.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Neil A.

The seats are low making the visibility not the best for the driver. They are also not padded that well for a long drive. The wipers have auto settings that sometimes has them going too fast for too long.

dislikeFilled Nicole S.

I am so sure there are any cons to my vehicle. I have had my car for almost a year without any problems. This car has no cons, it comes with a great security system, amazing mileage, and it is energy efficient.

I would say it is good, yes. It is better than the 1993 Accord I previously was using. I am currently getting about 40 mpg, which falls short of the 'perfect conditions' 55mpg as advertised.

Yes it is. The only problem is the noise when the car is trying to speed up quickly. It sounds the car is almost red lining

Mine cost about $25,000. It was a needed purchase and an investment for the next ten or so years. I think it was worth it.
