2020 insight: saves gas money, looks cool.
While I haven't been able to reach the EPA gas mileage, I am constantly getting 50 mpg if not using the a/c or heater, and about 46-47 mpg if I do use those. Compared to my Prius, my insight has infinitely more acceleration. I also think it is comfier than the Prius. I like the push-button shifter, but not everyone does.

An interesting detail that my car has is that it is accident proof.
I love my Honda insight. The performance is great, my car drives really smooth and it accident proof. For example if you are too close to another vehicle the car while slam on breaks which may cause you to jerk a lil bit but it is great for alerting you that you are about to hit someone.

Great compact and sleek car.
The car has no problems, I love that is gets great gas mileage since it is a hybrid, love the button gear shift, but it does have a small sunroof. It is size is a mix between the civic and the accord. Other than that, I have no complaints and I plan on getting the newest model.

Great value for price just work on ac.
Thus far my only complaint about the vehicle is that the ac does not seem to cool the back seat of the car effectively. My child is hot and sweating despite the ac to the coldest setting and on the strongest air flow. Something needs to be done to fix this issue because it is a blemish on what would be a perfect vehicle.

Hybrid with amazing technology.
Perfect sedan. Great mileage, cheap to fill up, so comfortable, wonderful performance and reliability. The tech features are what makes it so amazing -apple CarPlay (which seemed excessive at first but now I cannot live without it), 3 backup cameras, and especially the passenger blind spot camera. I used to hate driving but now I enjoy it because I get to be in this car.

Simple and safe, pretty and cool.
It is very pretty and good, the performance is awesome, it drives smooth without any noise, red color and cozy inside, it has Bluetooth and a lot of space on the back. I am planning on getting accessories for my car, so it will look good inside, I love my car.

Great hybrid vehicle for everyday.
Having a hybrid was incredibly important to me. I love the reliability of this vehicle. The brake hold feature is helpful in the city. The lane keeping assist is great for windy roads. Adaptive cruise is awesome for heavy traffic. I do not like the automatic brights. They do not always go off with oncoming traffic. Also the front end is pretty low to the ground. You have to be careful not to scratch.

7 months in. Still loving it!
I absolutely love my 2020 insight. I have owned it for 7 months. Very comfortable. The performance is great. I purchased it for the gas mileage. I get 50 mpg on avg. I love that I can drive it in eco mode (mostly do this) but change to sport mode anytime I need more power or want to increase my electric reserve. No issues. Would buy again every time!

Poor overall quality
I have owned Honda’s for over 30 years and found each one a well built vehicle until now. My 2019 Insight has terrible build quality. The hood vibrates at highway speeds. The left back door does not align properly. When you close either back door it sounds like hollow tin. The leather on the seats is poor quality with permanent marks made by anything in a back pocket. I am very disappointed in this vehicle!

Biggest regret of my life so far
If I could give this car 0 stars I would. This car sucks! I traded my Civic in for the Insight since my commute increased to almost 100 miles per day. Biggest regret of my life so far. I just spent the last 30 minutes trying to get it up my driveway in a half inch of snow. This car has no power to it. It can't get up hills and has a slow speed increase - I feel sorry for the cars behind me. It also doesn't get the great gas mileage that the commercials boast. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this model - stick with the accord or civic.

Honda insight perks and safety performance.
The Honda insight is a hybrid so it is really good on gas. On average it cost about $20 dollars to fill up my tank and it will fill up to about 400 miles. I save a lot of money on gas because it also has an electric engine which helps consume less gas. It also has lane watch assist. It lets you know if your car is swerving lanes and corrects the car trajectory to prevent car accidents.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Marco O.

I like all the sensing features. It also gets great gas mileage which is something that I like a lot since I drive very far. There is also Apple Car play as well as android play. This helps me with music and navigation which I use frequently.

likeFilled Colleen M.

It drives smoothly and has many features that ensure a safe trip. There are also many other little tweaks that are nice to enjoy, like the wireless charging station. The CarPlay is also a really nice feature and it makes it really simple to connect and use phone.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Marco O.

The car does not have enough power if you were in a pinch to try to get out of it. The car could be a little big bigger in terms of trunk space. The car is a little simplistic compared to other ones. I would like a few more comfort features for the standard features.

dislikeFilled Colleen M.

We haven't been driving this car for very long but so far we like everything about it. There are some small things like not having a knob to change the radio channel but that is not a big deal. Everything else we like so far.
