A good family car that has stood the test of time.
This 2003 Honda odyssey is very reliable and convenient for short and long trips alike. It is spacious enough that moving large furniture or multiple suitcases is relatively easy and it also makes moving people into dorms or apartments even easier. Though wear and tear has left the stereo system with some minor problems such as inconsistent volume control and some of the screens for the air conditioning and stereo systems no longer light up when the headlights are on, the systems still mostly serve their purpose. Except for problems with some of the electrical systems, the car has never needed any major maintenance beyond what is expected through normal wear and tear. The car is easy to handle and comfortable to drive and it is especially great for families because it can seat 7 people while still having room to store things. The seats are also very wide and comfortable so long trips are not a problem because there is plenty of room to stretch out and relax on the long ride. It also has a decent miles per gallon and a big enough gas tank that allows you to make long trips without having to stop too many times for gas. Because the car is older, the headlights are also not as bright as the new led headlights, but they are decent as long as your night vision is not too poor. As expected for a family minivan, this car does not go very fast and with heavier loads, it struggles to pick up speed going uphill, but once it gets up to speed, it can easily maintain a speed of 70-80 mph. Overall, this car is very dependable and trustworthy and it can serve so many purposes whether it is for going on family trips, moving furniture or even moving people into a new home.
