Awesome vehicle !! Give it a try you won't be sorry.
It's really nice, the only thing is the manual that comes with it don't match the car. But other than that it's awesome. The seats in the middle can slide in or apart. There is a lot of space in the back for all those camping trips or just trips to the store. I would say give this van a try. You won't be sorry

It's easy to drive and a great family car, but I would choose a different years model.
I love the van's exterior and size. I love Honda. The electric doors seem to have problems often. The cup holders in the front are terrible. They do not adequately hold 80% of the water bottles or cups I use. Very frustrating!

Honda accord automatic door issues.
In this vehicle one of the automatic doors tends to get stuck a lot. It will open but will not close so we cannot use that door. This is however, a relatively old car. The rest of the car is pretty good. I do not have much else that is frustrating about the car.

. A very comfortable ride along with the peace of mind of a reliable vehicle.
Our 2003 Honda odyssey has been the most extremely reliable family car. Family vacations twice a year. Only one major repair. The car needs a new transmission. Able to get a really good deal on a used one. It was not a situation that warranted buying an entirely new vehicle. We are still using this vehicle just as we did when it was new. It may not be as pretty as it was when new, but I highly recommend the Honda odyssey minivans to anyone looking for a great reliable family car.

The Odyssey is a safe vehicle for transporting my family. Roomy and easy to drive.
I loved my Odyssey at first, bought it used in 2013 with only 50,000 mi on it. It still runs great, I have under 100,000 miles but it is starting to need a lot of wear & tear repairs & beginning to nickel and dime me. I wish I could afford a newer model with more technological updates

Great van a
Got it at 180k but it had extensive maintenance. That is the key for this vehicle. I installed a big transmission cooler as well changed the filter and the fluid 3 times...Put on it 20k trouble free. Awesome vehicle makes no sense to replace it if is keeping up well. Also, my van has it original transmission, so tranny often maintenance is the key here.

My car is made for families made for large families which I'm part of a large family. Usually my family comes and visit specially from Jamaica during the summer and you know we going a lot of trips to Orlando or Key West and plus also is great for my spiritual family at church to carry them when we go preaching or studying or two events or cleanups.
My vehicle is a minivan it can hold up to 7 people. My minivan it can play DVDs movies in the car and has lots of space and lots of room. But I don't really like it because I'm a single mom and you know it feels too big it feels too much and only have one child. Plus I'm 24 what do I need a minivan for I only got it because my mom convinced me to get it because we go on vacation a lot with the whole entire family and it's just in case we don't have to take two cars. I feel so weird driving around with such a big and plus it's like 15 years old so yeah

Under 200, 000 miles and this is the 3rd transmission that been in the vehicle.
Bought it used with 160. 000. I thought Honda was a good and reliable car. Replaced the ignition key system at 500$, replaced the transmission with a rebuild one 2250$. Honda sells new transmission for 5000$ and it comes with no warranty! Replaced the rotors and timing belt at 840$. The engine runs good and does not leak or eat any oil so far. I read that transmission problems are very commons on the Odyssey. If I had known that before I would have purchased something else plus it gives you no more than 17 mpg on the highway.

Not really a minivan fan.
I just do not like driving a van. They are too big and clumsy and there are sightline problems. It is unwieldy to park and basically too much vehicle for one person. Problems with the 2003 odyssey.
We've had many problems with our Honda odyssey. I wish we could have afforded a newer one. The sliding doors give me lots of trouble. Often they start to close but then open themselves again. One window got stuck rolled down and wouldn't go up again. Also we couldn't anchor two child car seats in the back and we had to purchase new anchors and get them installed.

My Honda Odyssey runs good and comfortably fit my four kids, two nieces and myself. There is plenty of room for groceries in the back, even hooks on the back of the back seat to hang bags. With lots of compartments for storage. The only problem i have had with it is once my son turned on and left on a light in the back and the battery died. Since then i have not been able to reset the stereo because it wants a code that i can not find anywhere in the van.

The honda odyssey from 2003 is an ok car if it was new, but the thing is 15 years old now and the problems just keep coming. If it's not the AC, it's the engine, if it's not the fuel economy, it's the radio. I would most definitely not recommend such an old car with as many problems as mine.

It doesn't require a lot of maintenance just regular oil changes and breaks. The battery has only been changed once. It has been a relief not having too much fixing regularly.

2003 Honda odyssey camper van.
Transmission problems are common. We've got 170k on this odyssey and it is still running fine for now. Excellent camping van with the removable seats. The six cylinder does not get the best mileage, but it is not all bad if maintained properly. It is been a great van overall!

Honda Odyssey - going strong at fifteen!
My Honda Odyssey is on terrific vehicle, it drives nice, smooth and easy. It is comfortable and has plenty of seating which is also removable so you can haul things when needed. My only complaint (and this is not the fault of the vehicle) is that mine is 15 years old and is showing it is wear although my husband has taken very good care of it maintenance wise. Everything still works well - the a/c blows cold and the heater is toasty. The radio and CD player function great and cruise control and all of the basics are still going strong. So to sum up - the Honda Odyssey, after 15 years is still a great vehicle. I would gladly replace this one with another newer one, in a heartbeat - dependable, you bet!
