Amazing room inside the vehicle for a family size of 6.
I really enjoy the space that the vehicle has in all of the areas of the car. I do wish that the trunk space was a little bigger when all the seats are up. We have 4 kids and it has been such a huge help having a reasonably priced car to drive the kids around everywhere. We do sometimes have trouble with the USB connection and the stereo sometimes turns off on its own but other than that we really do love the car.

I love my pilot. The Bluetooth capability comes in handy when driving.
I love the pilot, it has a decent ride for the money. I wish the seats were a little more comfortable. Gas mileage is good. No problems so far with this car. I love the maintenance due signal so I never have to remember when to take it in to the dealership.

Excellent quality and high safety ratings!
My Honda pilot is very reliable and comfortable. It is a very safe vehicle. It has high safety ratings and that is why I chose Honda. My pilot gets very good gas mileage and is economical. It offers a very smooth ride. I love how the a pilot comes with a 3rd row for seating but they are also very easy to fold down for extra cargo space if needed. I love the DVD player feature to keep riders entertained in the back. I love everything about the Honda pilot.

Please increase the gas mileage gas is to expensive.
None really. I really enjoy the eco on and off option because when learning to drive it makes it easier learning how to use the excelerator. It saves gas and helps me when I am on different terrains. I really also like the gas mileage. Increase the gas mileage that would be oh so very helpful in the these great trying times.

You will not regret the decision to purchase.
My wife and I originally bought a jeep Cherokee, and immediately regretted our decision. The problem was the amount of space, or I should say the lack thereof. We were gearing up to purchase a family car, considering our baby girl was going to be born shortly. We wanted a car that would be able to fix the car seat without having the lack of space in the driver passenger seat. Bought the Honda pilot 6 months ago. The car seat fits like a charm. So far, I have loved it. Feels like luxury, minus the money you would pay for “luxury”.

Great family vehicle if you have kids in sports.
Love the third row seat. Plenty of trunk space to hold all of my son’s hockey goalie equipment. Durable leather interior. Roomy interior. Good traveling vehicle for out of state hockey tournaments. Only issue have had is an annoying rattling noise that comes from the trunk area. Unable to determine what the issue is. When I take my vehicle in for maintenance and address the situation, service advisors state they do not hear any noise. Recommend for families.

Not leasing another pilot.
Seats to narrow for a person a little larger than skinny, seat belts also kind of short, does not have a very comfortable ride,. Reliability, performance and other features are great. Needs to have an automatic lift gate for back, as it is heavy and hard to reach for a short person.

The leather seats and the third row seat.
There has been a problem with the motor and it is only 3 years old. I love the entertainment center and the leather seats but the technology in it is annoying because it does not always work. For example the radio cliches at times and so does the camera.

Yet another problem with my honda pilot
No. Worse vehicle I have ever owned 3.5 years old 50,000 miles current list of issues: lift gate button - must replace entire backup camera assembly to replace $600, fuel injector misfire $1300 ( honda did agree to pay for half in the form of a honda gift card), Transmission skipping covered under warranty, and now push button start system problem.

First and last Honda
My pilot has 51,000 miles and I have already spend almost $2,000 in repairs. The rear door release failed and you have to replace the entire rear camera assembly so over $600, fuel injectors failed and a service bulletin stated cause was do to improperly installed by manufacturer. Hondo did agree to cover half the cost but it took them over a month to agree to this and provide a loyalty card so I still had to pay for repair out of pocket. Now the tpms is going off for no reason but on the bright side I have a$650 loyalty card I can use to fix this problem. The best thing I can say about Honda is thank you for making my next car purchase a little easier I will not have to research any of your cars.

Miss my 2011 Pilot ?
The 2017 with less than 35,000 miles on it has had to have the entire fuel injection system replaced. Research tells me this is a problem that happens a lot. I loved my 2011 Pilot and as a result did not do enough research before I bought the 2017. I have been disappointed in the 2017 since the first day I drove it. The dashboard panel and controls are terrible. The AC system is not strong enough. And now the entire fuel injection system is being replaced. I won’t ever be buying a Honda again.

Overall the car is safe and very reliable.
For the price tag paid it is missing some key features like blind spot detection. It is has very slow pickup and feels very sluggish even with economy features turned on. It could have a better entry system for doors like keyless entry for rear doors.

Good family car for road trips.
The pilot is a very reliable car. It is roomy and very pretty. I would definitely purchase another pilot in the future. I added a luggage rack so that we would have room for suitcases when traveling. I also recommend the entertainment for trips if you have children.

The Honda pilot elite is a great SUV!

Love room in 3rd row seat, love feel of driving it, but have had computer problems a lot! Love the heated seats, sunroof, I like the room in the car as compared to my daughters Toyota highlander. Ride is smooth, I feel like I am driving g it instead of it driving me. I am fairly short but I can see all around me.

Very comfortable and reliable car.
My car has enough space for our family. We can go for long trips with the kids and dogs and all the luggage. When family comes over we can open the back seats and everyone fits including with the two car seats. We do not have any problem with the car. I like the rear cameras as well as the ones on the side to make passing easier. It is a very comfortable car.

Mom of 3 review pilot vs highlander.
Love the car.. Two things I wish I could change. The location of vents in the rear. Wish they were on the roof and not leg level. Also wish there was a little more room in the back when 3rd row is being used. The Toyota highlander has more room in the back with 3rd row up but there is also less leg room. Something to think about.

Retracting seats, and spacious interior.
Love that I can drive off road, I live the gas mileage and I love the space on the inside of the vehicle. It has such great room. And comes with wonderful perks depending on the trim. The Honda pilot is hard to beat!
Lots of room! It is has more room than my larger Chevy Tahoe. It has great gas mileage. It is reliable. The optional 3rd row is great to have for multiple kids or friends. We added a hitch, which has been helpful for hauling bikes. There has been no issues with the car.

The only problem I have is connecting my device. It does not always work. I have to turn the car on and off. The car is spacious, drives well, comfortable, and I will buy this same car again or lease it next year when my lease is done. No problems with anything else.

Wildly comfortable which makes me not want to leave the car!
The vehicle runs very smoothly and the seats are quite comfortable for long car rides or trips. The main problem I have experienced is with the bluetooth connections. It is hard to connect to the blue tooth and there are no other options to help you out.

I like the gas mileage and the size of the vehicle.
I like my car but it has a little delay and jerk to it when stepping on the pedal compared to my last vehicle that was smooth all of the time. I do like that it can idle at stop lights. Do not like the cruise control that slows down hard and fast if you are within a certain distance of another car.

Road trip worth, but poor on gas mileage.
Not happy about the gas mileage. I do not like how the cruise control/auto start and stop turns off if you go under 25 mph. The size is great for road trips; lots of storage. Really like the built in entertainment system. You can attach a gaming system to it to keep the kids entertained on long trips.

A golden, 8- seater, 2017 Honda Pilot
I love the comfort inside the car, and outside. It takes a while to clean, but it is worth it. There is not a lot of problems with my car in general. This car may have little squeaking sounds when we drive a far distance. But, we got that fixed already, so we are good to go and ready for the road.

Highly Recommend
I highly recommend the Pilot. I love the bucket seats in the Elite edition. I have been happy with the fuel mileage. Getting Kidd in and out is as easy as I would expect from this size vehicle. My only complaint is that there are not air vents in the ceilings for rear facing car seats.

I find it interesting the vehicle allows for the back row to be party up.
The vehicle is comfortable and spacious. One flaw is limited armrest in the middle and back seats. For example, if I sit behind the passenger, I have an armrest next to the window but there is no armrest on the other side. Another flaw of the vehicle is the lack of air vents above passengers. Otherwise the vehicle is mostly perfect. I have been a passenger for long car drive and can take naps easily in the car. I can also push seat back if necessary. The vehicle has enough storage for multiple suitcases especially if the back seats are downs. Also you can has part of back row down but still have a seat available. This was handy especially when driving with my cousin.

Best Car I've Ever Owned!
The Honda Pilot is the best car I've ever had. It is comfortable, roomy, and has just about any feature you could want. I like the adaptive cruise control a lot. The car will automatically slow down when needed. It took a little time to get used to but now that I've had my car for over 2 years, it is one of my favorite features. I have 2 kids and 2 dogs that travel with us most of the time and the Pilot has plenty of room for us and all of our stuff! It takes a little maneuvering with luggage for longer trips but for a small SUV, it's perfect. I also love the storage spot in the back. It's sort of like a hidden trunk that comes in handy when you need to hide things from view or need to carry more luggage, etc. The cover can be laid flat into the bottom of the area to contain groceries. No more sliding around and unbagging all of your things! The only complaints I have is that it is a little slow in accelerating when on the highway. And the rear A/C controls are low and if there is someone sitting in the middle seat of the middle row, it never fails that they kick the controls.

Beautiful & gas efficient.
I love it. I worry about a whine when I drive more than 60 mph though. It drives very smooth. It gets decent gas mileage. It is good looking. I like the backup camera. I like the radio. I love the leather interior, it is easy to clean. I don't really like the fact that the back seat does not have a mat.

Invest time to figure this car out.
I would say that the car is great if you took the time look at everything and figure out the all the gadgets. Otherwise, the car will be very stressful. For example, if the car is close to an object, the car with start the safety beeping that can be helpful but is annoying most of the time.

That the ac is really bad in the summer.
It is reliable but the air conditioning is not great. Also we have 3 children and when we want people to come into our car they have to go through the trunk it is hard to get in. It's also very small in the back three seats basically just 2 people fit.

I love this car. I cannot remember what trim it is but it is the one with the sunroof and the big digital screen. It is very spacious and has the 3rd row seats so I can fit eight people in there very comfortably. It rides very smoothly. I love that it shows me when my oil is low so that I can schedule my oil change.

My Honda Pilot is one of the most comfortable cars I have owned. It is quiet, has superb maneuverability, and well designed instrumentation. I think it is a great value for the price. I would like to see new engineering for better gas mileage in future models. Other than fuel efficiency I rate the Pilot as Five Stars.

Love it, with small caveats.
I love the safety options included as well as the rear entertainment. I like the technology included for the driver (apple car play, GPS) but the volume controls are on a touch screen instead of a knob or physical buttons. When trying to quickly adjust volume it is too easy to accidentally touch just above or below the designated area and end up pushing another option. It seems this problem was fixed on the 2018+ model years.

Spacious family SUV that is economical.
The car is very spacious and convenient for the three children I have. Comes with a lot of accessories. Haven't had mechanical problems and gets good gas mileage for how large it is. The best SUV for my lifestyle.
The Honda pilot is an awesome and stable vehicle. It allows me to sit higher in the road and I feel like I can see more at that point. The rear and side cameras have made driving easier, and safer. Aside from standard maintenance, I haven't had to take the pilot in for major repairs.

The best bang for your buck.
Eco drive helps with keeping gas costs down making it no more than expensive than my civic si. Spacious enough for children in the back for any length ride. The ex-l model does not make it feel like you have lost a lot of features since it does have a blind sight camera, which is a nice feature, an automatic tailgate open/close button on key and inside vehicle, along with heated seats. Even during eco drive the vehicle has a lot of pick up and go without ruining that mpg.

Engine trouble light yet computer says car is fine.
Engine light has come on twice and the dealer claims the computer finds nothing wrong with it. While the engine trouble light was on, the engine was misfiring. Nothing has been done by dealer. Shifting seems rough since then. Programmable garage door openers have had to be replace for not functioning properly. Now the replacement is not operating properly. Would never waste money paying for navigation system again. Hardly use the Honda map system. Find waze app more reliable.

Touring package is enjoyed by everyone.
Our 2017 Honda pilot touring model has been a joy to drive and ride in too. We have made several long trips in it and the seats support our back so we do not feel tired after the trip. We have had the Honda nearly 2 years and we have not had an issues with the car's performance or handling. We have experienced excellent gas mileage too. Having the 24/7 road assist is very comforting especially when you are on long trips. We would not hesitate to purchase another one.

Large enough for 300 pounds of dog!
My three dogs (100# each) fit comfortably in the back. Easy to drive and handles well in the rain. AWD is wonderful. No problems mechanically to report in the 1. 5 years we have owned it. I would purchase another Honda pilot the next time we look for a vehicle.

Great family car with amazing features.
I love my pilot. I love the smart vehicle technology and apple carplay. It gives me total control at my fingertips. There was a definite learning curve with this though. My favorite feature is the backup camera and the turning camera, whenever I signal. It is a great family car and very comfortably fits 6 adults, though you can fit more. I love this car!

INJECTORS
I have the Touring AWD and it has been a great car. I just had the injectors replaced BUT Honda paid for it because their was a service order listed through Honda Corp. I just paid $163.00 for the gaskets. But at 63,000 mileage time to look for another.

Fuel System Design Defect
Nice SUV overall but it has a fatal design flaw. If you choose to get o a 3rd gen Pilot, be prepared to have the fuel injectors replaced, possibly at regular 30K mile intervals. This is not an easy or inexpensive repair to perform. I would not recommend this vehicle because of this problem.

2 different audio options!
I have had engine problems. I have had to take it in numerous times. It is comfortable. There are 7 seats, with enough room in the trunk. The back has an entertainment system which is great. The kids can watch a movie and I can listen to a podcast which is great.

I love that it has 8 passenger capacity, love the eco option, it wastes less gas than the usual. Has lots of cool features with Honda electronics. Also it comes with headphones so the little ones can watch a blu ray DVD in the back and you can also listen to your own music in the front.

Pilots great for you and your family needs
Great utility and value. Has a third row which is key for carpools and large trunk space. The only issue is that Apple CarPlay doesn't always work when I plug my phone in. Otherwise I love the functionality of having my phone being seamlessly integrated with my iPhone

Amazing Honda pilot elite.
Very comfortable, lots of features. This care has apple car play which is very convenient when driving. The air conditioned seats are a wonderful bonus. There are two sunroofs. The DVD player is great quality and keeps my kids entertained. The rear seats recline.

The side camera is a great feature to help with checking the blind spot.
I like that it drives smoothly, has heated seats, backup and side cameras. It also gets great gas mileage for an SUV. On trips it can get 28-30 mpg. It has a third row which can be handy for everyone to spread out. We took it on a trip and halved the seat so we still had a lot of room for our luggage, plus everyone could ride comfortably.

Love My Pilot, really gets me where I want to be.
The Pilot has plenty of power, really accelerates when needed. Love the heated seats. Lots of storage space, easy to rearrange seating to accommodate moving different items. Primarily bought it for the passenger space, we need it when family visits. Good gas mileage for its size. Love the backup camera and the side camera that allows me to see the right hand side for easier merging. I would recommend the Pilot to anyone wanting a solid vehicle that will last for years to come.

Vehicle is imported. Verify pop noise.
Vehicle makes a pop noise when shifting in reverse and at time after shifting to drive, noise comes from outside under driver brakes. Honda says it is part of its safety feature. Does not come with a CD player. Small screen for backup camera. Runs great and great space for family.

Tailgate replacement issue.
We had an issue with the tailgate not working within a year of buying the Honda pilot. When we first got the car, we did try to shut the tailgate manually a few times out of habit but quickly started using the buttons to open and close. Sometimes it wouldn't close at all and we'd end up having to do something to make it close. Restarting the car, shutting it manually, etc. In the end, warranty covered the cost of replacement but very disappointing for a Honda to have this kind of issues after only a year.

Great size and great gas mileage.
Like size of pilot and captain chairs. Do not like that there are no vents in ceiling for back seats. Vents are under seat.

My pilot is both reliable and spacious enough for all my kids and all their gear.
I love all the options my car is. It's spacious but feels like I still drive a small car. It's reliable.

It's a good family car without being a minivan. I like that it's still a little stylish.
I like that my vehicle has a lot of cargo room and it can fit up to 8 people. I don't like that it's bulky and it doesn't have the pickup like a sedan.

I like the three rows of seats and overall size. I like the reliability of Honda. I do not like how it does not have a cd player.

A camera comes on when you turn your left blinker on shows you what is there.
We really love our Pilot! It has tons of leg room. My kids love opening the sunroof. The left mirror camera really helps when you turn your left blinker on to see curbs. It seats 8 people comfortably. The automatic lift gate is super handy. The back up camera screen is a huge help when backing up.

I think everyone should know that this car is awesome and I love it.
I do not have any problems. I absolutely love my car. I have only had it for 9 months. It is perfect for traveling and can hold eight people.
