2008 Hyundai Accent: Reliable, and quick!

2008 Hyundai Accent GS

The Hyundai Accent is a very reliable car. I purchased my 2008 Accent with just under 100,000 miles on it, and with regular maintenance, it still runs great at 130, 000 miles. It gets okay gas mileage, but has a small tank. For a v4 engine, it has a good acceleration rate. I'm a tall individual, and so it's a little tight in the interior. For the average person that shouldn't be a problem. Cloth seats (which I think is a plus), and spaces back seat for its size. Great car for commuting back and forth from work, or getting around town. The only bad thing I have to say is it doesn't come standard with cruise control. Other then that I would say it's a great car, reliable, quick, and spacious enough for a small family.

Most of this car's problems have been my fault.

2008 Hyundai Accent GS

I find this car to be very comfortable. It's pretty small but you can't really feel it when sitting in the driver's seat. I've had problems with this car, but they're mostly because it hasn't been services enough. I've had the indoor driver's side door handle break, my front tire blow (which was my fault for not changing it sooner), and the power steering belt snap (again, my fault for not taking it in when it started squeaking). Overall, it's been an okay car.

Good durable car for a modest price.

2008 Hyundai Accent GS

The Hyundai Accent is a tough, durable, no frills car. It performs well when basic maintenance is kept up. A downside is too many unnecessary sensors, and cruise control was an option. It is as comfortable as any other sub-compact. I replaced the clutch at 200,00 miles, and it is a good idea to replace the timing belt every 80,000 miles. Timing belt replacement is not that difficult on these cars.

A great gas saver & perfect for a daily driver!

2008 Hyundai Accent GS

My Hyundai Accent is an overall great car. The interior is nice and comfortable. The air conditioning is good, and the gas mileage is great (30-35 MPG). I bought it as a cheap car because my old one was having serious issues, and the only reason I gave it 4 out of 5 stars was because of it being two door (not the biggest fan) and that you can hear the motor very loud from the inside of the car.

One of the best starter cars ever!

2008 Hyundai Accent GS

I have had a really good experience with my Hyundai Accent. It has been very reliable, with minor issues of any. The only downside is with the base model it doesn't have automatic look, but given the age it makes sense. I would definitely recommend it to any first car buyers. It's a great starter car if you can find one!

Issues I am having with my vehicle.

2008 Hyundai Accent GS

My vehicle is need of repair as it is currently causing me issues. There is a weird noise made upon starting the car, almost like a whistle. It is more prominent when the weather is colder, or on rainy days. Also, while the brakes are safe, during snowy or rainy days, they seem to pull extra causing the car to slide.

Not sustainable for family style

2008 Hyundai Accent GS

Part unavailable if need repairs comfortable and neat. A lot of people buy it. Not plenty room for trunk. My kids complain on the room size and there is not enough foot space and compartments for storage and packages and other gaming items. The ac slows the car down and impossible to fix

Overall a decent car that I own.

2008 Hyundai Accent GS

Hard to find people to work on it besides the dealers. I have had a fuel line issue on this car for 2 years and everyone tells me that there is nothing wrong. But when I put my foot on the gas, it hesitates for move. This can be a real problem when I am pulling out into traffic.

2008 Hyundai Accent GS

I love my Hyundai accent hatchback. It is roomy enough for my six- foot guys to be completely comfortable, is so easy to maneuver in traffic, and has all the storage space I need in the covered hatchback area. I have a 4-cylinder and it has enough power for the freeways here.

The gas performance is what I like most.

2008 Hyundai Accent GS

The car gets good gas mileage. It performs great even in the snow. The vehicle has been reliable. Problems are some of the switches are hard to change, they are not easy to get too when needing to be replaced. But overall I am satisfied with my vehicle and its performance.

Solid performance and reliability.

2008 Hyundai Accent GS

No real problems. Maintenance as necessary. Only issue was the heater blower had to be replaced twice and the factory radio had to be replaced after warranty ran out. Otherwise it has been a good and reliable car. I am very pleased with owning this Hyundai.
