My 2009 Hyundai accent is the most reliable car I have ever owned. I bought it used almost 3 years ago, and am still yet to have any major repairs done. The only work I have had done are getting the brake pads replaced, oil changes, and a tune up. The ac is really cold, and the interior is very nice.

The downside of my 2009 Hyundai accent gls.
Overall it is a good car, the only complaint I have about it is the comfortability of it. On long road trips the seats are not very comfortable and the room inside the vehicle is very confined. Any time there is more than one person riding with me, myself and the other passengers feel very crammed together. There's not much legroom for the passengers in the back and storage is lacking.

It is a smaller vehicle, not intended for a family. But it is reliable.
Its a basic vehicle for back and forth to work. It does not have anything automatic (windows or anything). It has almost 200k miles and has never had an issue. It has been by far the best vehicle so far that we have owned. As long as you keep up on the maintenance they last. It is a very reliable vehicle with excellent gas mileage even with high miles. I would recommend it.

I had 2 wheel studs break before 31k miles. I had a misfire at 41k miles. Now I'm at 53k miles, and I need new shocks, knock sensor, and windshield motor. LEMON.

I am short and it fits me to a tee. The performance has been very good. Replace battery 2 times. Some part went out to cause check engine light to come on. No problem so far. As it goes on and off. Dealer said problem only if it stayed on. I like all the features and its comfortable , fits under my carport.

The accent is a very rough riding vehicle. The paint job is poor paint fading and major chipping. Seems to be a brake issue that no one can fix. I have had the car in the shop too many times for the brake issues. The car is a very basic vehicle that gets you to point a and back.

It is hard to get parts for.
Good on gas. Drives nice the stereo. Parts are expensive hard to find. The sunroof leaks seat belts lock up easy. Seats do not stay forward so you can climb out back seats. The hatch is to small. No cruise control. Steering wheel do not tilt. Picks up speed good.

2009 Hyundai accent review
I bought the car new and had very few mechanical problems with it. I haul a small utility trailer with it and it does very well with a load on. Not that great comfort wise (I'm 6'2' and the car is small) but that's not what I bought the car for. The car is very economical to maintain.

This car is a lemon and money pit
Has only 90,000 miles on it and it is the biggest piece of junk. Everyday something else breaks on it. Heater doesn't work, had to replace alternator, front struts, right front axle. Left and right wheel bearings. Washer motor stopped working. This car is a lemon.

The car has good gas mileage.
It gets me from point A to point B without anything extra added to it. Despite the way it looks, the backseat is quite roomy and can fit three people easily. The downside is it being two-door and getting into the backseat itself is not an easy thing.

It is small and has a good turn radius. The acceleration speed is a little slow and it is easily damaged. Automatic locks and security. Greyish blue color. I wish it had tinted windows. The upkeep of it is relatively cheap and the gas price to fill it up is only around thirty dollars.

The Hyundai Accent is great on gas mileage getting over 30 mpg.
I've put a little over $1,000 into the car this year. The air conditioner will need fixing before next summer. And I will probably need new speakers. I like the car because it is good on gas getting over 30 mpg, which is about twice as much as my last car. It is also easy to park.

Hyundai is a basic transportation car.
It is affordable but a very basic car. It has been reliable after a major replacements but somewhat underpowered. It is somewhat cramped. The seat worn out. We did have at first to replace the engine but it has been fine after that. The timing belt will need to be replaced soon. It might not be the safest in an accident.

You get what you pay for: a budget car.
The Hyundai accent is a bargain car. It can get you from point A to point B, but it is nothing fancy. In the few years I have owned it, both sun visors popped off of their holders, the plastic tire rim fell apart, and a fuse blew. The fuses are located under the battery, which do not make them easy to replace. It has decent gas mileage and the interior is comfortable. For someone my size, it is fine but my husband, who is taller, finds the interior too small and cramped.

First Car: Major Blessing
So this is my first car ever and it holds a special place in my heart! When I got the car, it was used, but in great condition! I will say to make sure you keep up with the maintenance of it because when I went to get an oil change, I found out there were some things that needed to get updated even though the previous owner kept it up to par, like changing of the timing belt and such, but besides that, I really have no complaints. It's small, but gets around places I need to be.

One thing that I can say about my vehicle is that it is very reliable. If you do the regular maintenance on it; it will last a long time. I have had my Hyundai for over 9 years. As far as the features the quality of the materials are not as good quality as a BMW. In the 9 years that I have had my vehicle the plastic on the interior has fallen apart. The only major problems right now on my vehicle is the key ignition needs to be changed. It will periodically get stuck and I can not turn the key to start the engine. I have put 146k on this car and it is still going. It is not very roomy so if your looking for a spacious vehicle this is not for you. However, it is very good on gas. I usually only fill up my gas tank once every 2 weeks, and I drive every day in this vehicle.

Too many problems for a new car in a short time.
It's had a lot of issues, the weather stripping has to constantly be put back in place, the airbag light has been on for ever. I've had to replace transmission coils repeatedly. The exterior door handle broke off. It's just had a lot of issues I have never had on previous cars. And this was my first brand new car. Id never get a Hyundai again.

Small car for easy parking
The only problems I have had with my car has been battery troubles. During the winter it wouldn't start and had to be jumped. The best thing about my car is the gas mileage. My 2009 Hyundai Accent is a comfortable compact car for those who are not too tall or too big. Engine is relatively quiet and can accelerate when entering freeway fairly well. The only problem I have noticed in all the years I have been driving it (about 9 years), is that whenever it rains and probably after water splashed below the car, the breaks become slightly sticky but not bad enough to cause an accident.
Even with the slight problem during rainy days, it is still a fairly reliable car.

Great, efficient, and compact car.
Sometimes the vehicle seems to idle and no matter how many times I replace the brakes they squeak/can be kind of touchy when you first start driving, but after the car warms up this issue disappears. Overall, I have no complaints! The car is small which makes it easier to find parking spaces and it is really cheap to fill the tank, but at the same time, it is very roomy and can store and transport a lot of items. The air conditioner and heater work nicely, it defrosts fasts, it gets great mileage and the upkeep is cheap. It is also very good at warning you when you need to do some maintenance so it never lets an issue get to far out of hand.

Hyundai Accent: a fun reliable car.
The Hyundai Accent gets very good gas mileage, and is comfortable and fun to drive. It is easy to park in small spaces such as parallel parking and parking decks and easy to move through traffic. It doesn't offer that much power but enough to get where you are going. I have had no major problems mechanically. It has plenty of room especially if you lay the back seats down. The accent is not ideal for more than 3-4 occupants because of its compact size.

Defining a car's value by its affordability and reliability.
I bought a 2-door hatchback Accent because I valued the load capacity vs passenger comfort. This was ignoring the fact that grandchildren grow, but it was my only oversight. My car has been dependable, and its operation and maintenance has met my level of affordability. I have been very satisfied with the hyundai dealership and service department. 1) I found the car affordable with a cash-back offer, 2) there was a 5 year bumper-to-bumper warranty and an additional 5 year warranty on the powertrain, and 3) the service department took excellent care of my car, including items that came up through the company regarding recalls. I have gotten the value out of the money I have spent on this car.

It's a very dependable car. The only problem I have had to come across was one of the engine's plugs burnt out. And it was a easy tip to autozone to fix. The only complaint I have about it. Is the gas mileage. I drive 30 minutes there and back every day for work and need gas at least once every week. But it only takes 25-30 bucks at most to fill the tank

It's One issue after another
My car was great for the first little while, but it has needed the tires changed more often than is should, they wear on the inside even after an alignment and new shocks, struts, ball joints, etc. Have been put in. Its had issue after issue for the last 1.5 years. I would buy a new car if I could afford to. This one has just been one headache after another.

It handles easily, turns quickly, has great pickup (it is a stick shift), holds four adults comfortably with the rear seats up, and with the rear seats down instead, I can load a colossal amount into the hatch back. It has 97,000 miles on it and runs perfectly. Also, this is my second accent; the first one saved my life. I totaled it (my fault) and crumpled it up like a wad of tinfoil, but between the unibody construction and a twelve-year-old airbag that worked perfectly, I walked away with bruises. I am an accent driver for good!

The Accent is a roomy car, despite its size.
It gets great mileage and is very reliable. I think the Accent is a great car to get from point A to point B. But it does not have a lot of pick up so it takes a little while to get fast. I think it has a considerable amount space in the cabin and in the trunk, especially relative to the size of the car.

Awesome car for new drivers.
It is kind of hard to get up hills quick and efficiently but overall it is a good car. I would recommend for a starter car for a new driver. The price to fill up the tank is not a lot either. It fills up on a quick 20 dollars. It doesn't hurt your insurance too bad either. Just make sure you check the shock plugs.

Good car; excellent mileage.
I have 150, 000 miles and the car still runs great and gets excellent gas mileage. I plan to drive it until it his 200, 000 which I do not expect to be a problem. The ride feels bumpy due to the size. I have not had any problems other than normal maintenance issues.

Reliable commuter car that gets your there.
The accent is not a luxury car, but is very reliable. It does not have a lot of get up and go. When you hit the accelerator it does not go fast, but when you reach speed, it cruises easily. It gets good gas mileage and is a good commuter car.

Dependable and Reliable for 10 years
My car has been with me since I first started college. Excellent gas mileage - even with the fluctuating gas prices, I have never paid more than $35 to fill up my tank. Repairs and maintenance have been affordable and this car is still going after 130,000 miles.

This car is very reliable. No major mechanical problems.
I have not had any major mechanical issues with this car. This is the second Hyundai that I have bought brand new and have had great luck with.

Hyundai accent. The car is very dependable. Driving the Hyundai is easy.
The accent is depend car. Have no problems with this car. Comfort could be better. Get good mileage? The car ride very well. The four doors are great for guest. Good leg room. The is big enough to hold 9 bags of grocery the steering is very respond. Headlight the road very well.
