The pros of my Hyundai Accent are that it is 100% dependable, on top of looking good. I like that it has an ECO option that gets me better gas mileage when it is activated. I also like that it shows me what my gas mileage is in real time.
The pros of this vehicle are that it gets great gas mileage, especially for college students. It also is very compact and smooth to drive. It takes about 20 - 25 dollars to fill the tank and that will usually go about 340-380 miles.
Price point and safety of all features in car good stereo system and airbags and back seat things to keep my kid happy and out of hair on long trips soft eats good air conditioner and heater for the cold time need it to be affordable to upkeep since I am a single mom on low budget.
It is small and has a very large trunk. It is also very easy to drive and park. It has a good radio, XM, and a nice look to the interior and exterior. I also like that this car is compact and can fit in tight spots.
It is an affordable entry level option. It looks sleek for the cost and looks nice on the inside. It has good gas mileage compared to other cars. It is compact so parking in smaller spots and parallel parking is easy.
My vehicle has great fuel economy, I've been using this vehicle for 4 years and the MPG(Miles Per Gallon) hasn't changed at all. About 33 MPG/41-44 Highway. Being the base model of this vehicle it doesn't have all of the amazing accessories that is CAN have. But the base model is still amazing; Bluetooth capabilities, port for USB car charger as well as a built in USB port. Center console space is great with 2 cup holders and an additional square empty space for anything (I use mine for change). This speedometer display is nice and displays gas range in how many miles until empty. I usually but about $20-$25 in gas and that fills it up, top gas range I have seen is 415 and that's with forcing the gas in even after the nozzle clicks. The trunk is spacious and the spare tire is very well hidden under the trunk. I purchased this vehicle used and have not had any problems with it.
It is a super reliable car. I have gotten regular oil changes and that is all I have needed for the last 6 years. It gets great gas mileage. It is compact so makes city driving easier but has enough room to fit friends and family. The trunk is also roomy.
The vehicle is relatively low maintenance and has held up well with regularly scheduled maintenance. The vehicle is safe. It gets good gas mileage as well. The cost is also a good value for those looking for a good safe vehicle on a low budget.
It cannot hold that much gas. It also does not have things like cruise control or Bluetooth. Hubcaps also tend to come off easily on this model. The mileage is pretty average. The headlights are VERY dim.
It can be a little rough to drive if driven out of a rough road as it is low to ground and you can feel every minor bump. If you do have an accident and damage the car, usually you will have to repair more than you are wanting so the car can run properly.
Its breaking little by little and more and more I have to put more money into fixing things and I can't afford to keep doing things like that. Need a better car nothing else is really standing out it's a good car and I like it just getting worn down.
The cons are the horn, it is too soft. It also has very limited rear visibility due to a small rear window. It has had some transmission problems happen before 100,000 miles as well that cost $650. Yes.
It does not have some of the features that other higher level sedans have. It does not really have pickup. It is smaller so it does not have the same amount of storage space as other cars. No cruise control.
One major con of the base model of the Accent is that it does not have cruise control. Being that I drive a lot and usually for up to an hour and a half at a time, this really gets to me! A less intense con would be that only the driver has arm rests on both side. If you are the passenger you will only have an armrest on your right side(the door) and it feels awkward because you want to put your left arm somewhere but there is nowhere to put it!.
There are not any unique features about the car. There is not a backup camera or other modern features, including a touchscreen radio display. Additionally it did not come with a spare tire. The steering wheel also wore overtime.
The interior can sometimes feel cramped and is not the best to take on vacations due to limited space. There have been a few issues with random dashboard lights that turn on and off but do not indicate genuine problems.
The 2013 Hyundai Accent has an average owner rating of 4.21 out of 5 which ranks it #27 of 39 other Small Cars.
