Good and solid for its price

2012 Hyundai Elantra SE

I like my Elantra. It is a solid, good car that feels safe and drives well. I feel the pick up is pretty fair for its price. I have not had any serious issues in 7 years and it shows no signs of slowing down. I do feel the air conditioning is poorly designed. In the front, the vents are located in an awkward place, so the air ends up mostly on your hands and arms as you're holding the steering wheel. I also wish there were vents in the back seats and that the front seats were air conditioned in addition to heated. It is a very sturdy and decent sedan for its price. Before purchasing, I test drove all of its competitors at the time and it was felt and drove best. It does not feel cheap or plastic-y and the design is actually attractive.

2012 Elantra, excellent car for a good price

2012 Hyundai Elantra SE

I own a black limited edition 2012 Hyundai Elantra. It is a great car due to its many features. First of all the interior is of great quality, with leather seats and a sleek elegant look. The dashboard has everything from radio, to a call feature, plus it's presented in a really nice way. The car performs really well, when accelerating the pull feels 'powerful', more so than other cars. I haven't had any major functionality issues in the years I've had this car. Taking it to service when recommended seems to minimize all potential problems.

2012 Hyundai Elantra review.

2012 Hyundai Elantra SE

It's been a good car. Very reliable. I wish it had the sunroof. It's very economical to operate. I wish it had better sound insulation. It's pretty loud when you get it up to highway speeds. It's got pretty good room up in the front seats. It's pretty tight room wise in the back seat. Unless it's used for small kids. Trunk space is pretty good. It's had a few recalls, nothing really big. But for the most part, it's been pretty reliable car.

View of the Elantra from the inside

2012 Hyundai Elantra SE

overall the vehicle is fine, the starter on the car is concerning because it doesn't always turn the car on, sometimes it takes a couple tries. I like that the seats fold down in the back and there is a decent amount of trunk space. The acceleration of the car is not great, and I don't like how the car's windshield is so far slanted. Other than that the drive is fine, not too bumpy, the inside is relatively comfortable

Good storage in the rear with this hatchback. The car gets good gas mileage.

2012 Hyundai Elantra SE

Windows in doors stop functioning at 80 thousand miles. Car frequently needs alignment. Air conditioning failed at 40 thousand miles. Steering went out at 35 thousand miles. The steering is a problem in this model. The molding on the roof rotted at about 85 thousand miles. All this occurred over a six year period. I bought the car new. . Car is fairly reliable other than that.

Easy to drive, comfortable to drive, and attractive.

2012 Hyundai Elantra SE

It is a very comfortable car, and easy to drive! It gave my confidence back, and I feel blessed driving it. . My vehicle didn't have any problem for the first 4 years. After that, it started peeling off the painting, and the tires cannot manage in the snow. . However, the warranty that I got, allows my car to be fixed anytime if something goes wrong.

Hyundai is a decent reliable car.

2012 Hyundai Elantra SE

Hyundai has been a great car to me. Its has its issues like any other car but I love the features. For example, the outlets there are several ways to plug in phones or GPS. My car has a phone connect so I can freely talk on the phone and I get pretty decent direct connect when connecting my phone via Bluetooth.

Ling Long life low maintenance

2012 Hyundai Elantra SE

This is a very reliable vehicle that gets good gas mileage but never the 40 mpg it was rated at. Very happy overall. I like that it had Bluetooth connectivity which is a feature I use often, allowing for hands free cell phone use. It has aged well and other than normal maintenance, has not required any repairs.

My car is awesome, even after seven years.

2012 Hyundai Elantra SE

My Elantra is a smooth ride. It's a little bit longer than I've been used to, so it's tougher for me to turn into parking spots, but overall I love this car. It is about 7 years old and hasn't had many problems at all. If I could do it all over again, I'd pick the same car.

Most reliable car with great gas mileage

2012 Hyundai Elantra SE

Good gas mileage, reliable, spacious interior, heated front and rear seats, , large trunk, no problems after 5 years of owning! After five years the only issue I have had was the air conditioner went out but was easy fix! Would highly recommend this car to someone I know!

Super reliable and amazing on gas

2012 Hyundai Elantra SE

I have absolutely no problems with my 2012 Hyundai Elantra, it is the most reliable car I have ever driven and it never breaks down. It's amazing on gas and super comfortable for long drives. I used to drive really long distances in it every week and never had issues.

Sporty look and reliability

2012 Hyundai Elantra SE

Too small for highway driving. You feel every bump and the wind blows it all over the road. The gas mileage is good and it's very easy to drive. Reasonable to maintain and very safe in accidents. I love the sporty look. The interior material is very hard to clean
