Sold a lemon
Purchased this vehicle 7 months ago and the trunk randomly would pop up from time to time and I didn't think too much about it at first until I noticed it looked a little bit elevated in the one corner. I didn't think too much of it and figured I would just mention it at my next service for oil. And then 6 months into owning the car the reverse lights failed. Took the car in to investigate this and I mentioned the trunk issue as well and when they looked at the car they said it was obvious that it had had rear end damage previously and was not fixed properly and they could tell that the bumper was replaced and a s***** paint job on the back and something dripping off of it as well as the wiring for the lights wasn't done correctly and the connector wasn't connected. So in other words the car was in an accident before they sold it to us and it was only a year old at the time and they never told us this. Now this is costing us roughly $800 and this is only to get the reverse lights working because they had to take the back end apart to find the problem. I'm pissed at the fact that Burlington Hyundai admitted that this has previous damage and when I call Cookeville Hyundai to complain they basically said nothing we can do but look at it and I told them the other Hyundai was already looking at it but they didn't care and just basically said so sorry.

Hyundai Elantra is the best other than these two things.
The only things we do not like about our car is the cup holders do not have rubber arms that hold your red bull can in place so when you turn the can tips over and spills. The only other thing we do not like is there is no back windshield wiper. Other than that we have no other complaints about our Elantra.

The greatest Hyundai Elantra.
My Hyundai Elantra is a great car, one of the best purchase I have made this year. I have had no problems so far and is very reliable. Saves money in gas, very spacious and comfortable. The dealer checks on me every month, I am really glad I did choose this brand.

Technology in car is a bit confusing.
This car has too many apple interfaces and I do not have any apple products to use with it. The backup camera is one thing I thought I wouldn't like but it comes in handy. Since the screen is so large, you'd think it would come with gps but it didn't and that should be added as a base accessory.

Would give 0 stars if I could
When I first purchased this car I was ecstatic. The price was great, the car itself was sleek, had great features & was comfortable. 2 months after purchasing the vehicle, I was driving on the freeway when I could no longer accelerate the vehicle and it started to smell like it was on fire. Luckily I was ~3 miles from home and got it home driving 5 mph the whole way there. Got it to the dealership, where they told me they’d have a look at it. Left it at the dealership for about 3 weeks. The car needed a new transmission, and no one could tell me why. Upon picking up the vehicle, I noticed the status light on the push to start button was no longer working- walked back into the dealership where they told me they didn’t know anything about that and I could call them to set up another appointment. Very rude treatment by the service department, but I was determined to just let it go- as it was not a huge deal. Fast forward to driving the vehicle on the freeway again- the forward collision sensors will randomly error out on the dash, and when the lane assist feature is on the vehicle violently shakes when it hits a certain speed. At this point, I open a case with Hyundai corporate because I find the car generally unsafe to drive, and the dealership has no interest in remedying any problems. My case has been open with Hyundai for going on a month- and their customer service is awful (that’s a review for another time). I go to drive the vehicle today, and it won’t unlock with the keyless entry or key fab. I get into the car using my manual key, and it won’t start. Great, I figure the battery is somehow dead? Although that shouldn’t be an issue with a brand new car. The tow truck driver comes to try to jump the car- which he is unsuccessful in doing because the problem is not with the battery. He towed it to the dealership, and now I wait to see what the issue is. I have had more difficulties with this car than any car I have ever owned. Paid for a brand new car and now I’m left with no car. Would not recommend a Hyundai to anyone. All of these issues within 5 months of owning the vehicle.

Loving my 2020 Hyundai Elantra.
Very smooth driving. It drives itself by following the lines in the road. It signals you when you Cross Lanes without using the turn signal. It as 3 drive modes: both automatic and stick. It warns you when your hands leave the wheel. Everything is accessed through the steering wheel. And it's great on gas mileage.

The best parts of the 2020 Elantra sel.
My car is very reliable. It feels very safe, even if it is raining or bad weather conditions. The apple CarPlay feature is helpful as well. The best feature might be how amazing the gas mileage is - I typically average 40 miles per gallon. The car is also beautiful while still being reliable and safe, and not hugely expensive.

Style and class for the modern driver.
My car is great, very high tech with great features. Blue link option is wonderful and very useful. Lots of space in the back for passengers. The trunk opens and extends to the back seat creating more room for storage. The car seats are very comfortable and it comes with seat warmers.

2020 Hyundai Elantra overview.
I have had my 2020 Hyundai Elantra for a year now. I love it and have no complaints about it. Just make sure to get your oil change regularly like you should with every car. It drives smooth and has lane assist! It also beeps/notifies you when a car is behind you or on the sides and stops when it is clear to back up or pass! The seats are super comfortable and the trunk is big for behind a car! The exterior looks very nice and the interior is amazing!

The car has a good GPS system.
Very comfortable! This car is definitely worth the money and is very affordable. Comes in a lot of colors has a nice interior design as well. This car is in the smaller side when you look at it, but when you are in the car it feels very spacious. It also has a big trunk, so that helps with holding stuff in the car.

Smart car, very reliable! Very pretty!
The Elantra is so beautiful inside and out! It is so reliable and is super good on gas! I highly suggest it as a first vehicle for anyone! It is very spacious in the front and back seat! There is so much space in the trunk as well. The car also has smart drive where it detects if you are getting out of lane and steers your car back into lane. It also has blind spot detection. If you have driven a long period of time it will let you know when you should take a break.

Hyundai Elantra - great economy vehicle.
This car is really great. Nice size, fits 5 people comfortably. Trunk size is also nice. Seat heaters are amazing, and the backup camera is my favorite. The black color is rich, doesn't show dirt that easy. The sun roof allows for a nice breeze to come in and the car smells fresh. It is easy to clean and has sturdy tires. The price for gas is not too expensive. Easy to steer, brakes are responsive.

The gas mileage is fantastic and has the lifetime warranty.
Lifetime warranty, drives like a dream and great gas mileage. I got 47.6 mpg to a state next door. Also, the gas mileage around town, I get around 33 mpg. I have been watching the company since 1986 and it just keeps getting better. They are real comfortable inside. The price is great. I paid 18000 for mine.

Very good on gas and is quite reliable 100% of the time! I would definitely recommend this car because it has everything a safe driver may need. Drivers assistant, shows how many miles you have till empty, the car is pretty roomy and quite comfy! I feel safe driving and riding in this car!

The most interesting detail my Elantra has is definitely the lane keep assist!
I have had no problems with my Elantra. This vehicle drives very smooth. I drive this vehicle out of town for my job every day with ease. Very reliable and has a great backup camera. My favorite feature is the lane keep assist! Also, if you leave your hands off the wheel for an extended period of time lane keep will turn off and ask you to return your hand to the wheel.

Reliable car. Nice details. Would recommend an Elantra.
I have had no service issues. It is a smooth and comfortable drive. The cloth seats are nice, the controls are all up to date. The silver accents throughout the vehicle are nice. The sound system is also a great system. I would definitely recommend the Elantra if you are looking for a small reliable car.

It performs great. It is terrific on gas and it is a smooth ride. Very roomy, plenty of leg room. The sound quality of the speakers is fantastic. It is a great value car. The touchscreen navigation is excellent. I love the forward collision avoidance assist. Great to have this safety when driving. The sunroof is nice to use on a sunny day. Positive thoughts on Hyundai Elantra.
I just leased a Hyundai Elantra a few months ago. Previously I had a Hyundai sonata. I like the Elantra, it rides well and is comfortable. It is a little smaller than the sonata. I think I should have gotten the upgraded model though instead of the se. The safety features on the new Elantra are good.

My Hyundai Elantra 2020 se.
It is a basic car. It drives well, gets good mileage on gas. The standard is very basic, has no bells and whistles. The standard does come with a small back up screen. Since I have had my car I have had no major issues. The comfort is basic it is honestly a regular car, it serves its purpose. It does sit low to the ground.

Good car to buy for new drivers.
My vehicles performance is amazing. When it comes to gas it takes about 25-30 dollars to fill up my tank with gas averaging out at 2$ a gallon. My only thing that I hate is that the tires are entirely sensitive. I usually have to get my tires re sealed at least twice a year just because a bump made them de flame. There was no hole but it still deflated.

My Elantra experience from someone who hates to drive, who now loves to drive.
Love way you can choose what drive mode you can drive on. And it has great gas mileage. It is easy to drive and it is got a great roomy back seat for how small it looks. For me being very short, I can see out of it just fine, but taller people have a hard time getting in and out of the car. I like all the new safety features on it and how you can choose to turn them off if needed. It is def a upgrade from my 2017.

This car is a pacious, has the get-up-and-go my last car severely lacked, it is sporty looking, has all the extras that I wanted (sunroof, rubber floor mats, upgraded sound, and it gets great gas mileage. I have taken it on several road trips and it is comfortable and able to carry quite a bit of luggage etc. The ride is comfy and I feel confident and safe driving this car.

Apple CarPlay and great gas mileage, my Elantra has everything love!
Car has beautiful exterior look, trim is sleek and attractive. Interior has a semi luxurious feel. No part feels cheap or poorly put together. Car stereo system has apple and android CarPlay that I couldn't rave about more. I use it every time I get in my car. I used to have a 2016 Nissan xterra that I spent a lot of money on gas and repairs so this car was a breath of fresh air. To fill my tank I spend about twenty-two dollars and that gets me a little over four-hundred miles. I couldn't rave about this car more. It is a smaller sedan but it is not noticeable at all or gives me any issues. I love it!

2020 Hyundai Elantra is new and a good size car for first time vehicle owners.
I really enjoy the space the vehicle has. While it does not seem like much for a small size sedan. It can be very spacious. For example, my friend and I had done a trip a few months ago and her dog is a pitbull and he fit perfectly in the back seat, he had space to lay down and get comfortable. I enjoy also the performance, as well as the lane assist features on the car. I believe those are the selling points.

The best option within the car are the features which are really modern.
Currently car size is pretty small. Also if you are looking for more trunk space you will need a different model. Besides the size the care runs really good and is good on gas but seats are small. Also the car bumper is exposed which causes other cars to leave scratches.

Hyundai sonata: a smooth ride.
I bought my Hyundai sonata recently and I really love it. Even thought I had to get used to the push-button ignition, there are so many great features, including free Sirius/XM radio for three months and just a really smooth drive. I also like the easy-to-use controls, which are really intuitive.

This car is very fun and loaded with extras. The sound system is great. I feel it is sized well for women drivers as it does not have much head room or wider seats. Unsafe headlights
Just bought 2020 Elantra last week. Drove it for the first time at night. Had to drive 45 miles an hour on the highway, scared to death. The headlights only illuminate about 20 feet ahead and there's a pitch black area about 2 ft above the road. It does not light up road signs because either because the light is so close to the ground. Impossible, UNSAFE and scary to drive at night

A very comfortable and reliable car. I drive my Elantra every day and it is probably one of the best investments I have ever made. Having my car in tiptop running shape and safe
I got my 2020 Hyundai ELANTRA on December 27, 2019 and now my highbeams don’t work the switch light works the light on the dashboard goes on but my high beams don’t work. And I did get a email and a letter about a recall so since you’re going to cover the recall will they give me a car to drive without me having to pay for the rental car and do I have to pay to get the light fixed for the highbeams fixed. It is anybody else having problems with their air tires or the air in their tires might keep fluctuating where the little light on my dashboard comes on I put air in them and it finally goes off next thing I know the lights back on again and there is no hole in the tire. Right now it’s down to 22 pound that I just put air in it yesterday

My Elantra performance is really good. I get excellent gas mileage and love how quiet the motor is. My 2018 I had its motor was louder than I liked. The only beef I have is I do not like how small the rear camera screen is. My old Elantra had a larger screen and I do not like that I lost my signal warnings when I go to change lanes. Those were on the 2018 as well. The 2020 has the drifter warning and the ability to steer you back into lane if you drift out of the lane and it has automatic braking if you get too close to car in front of you.

New transmission (s?!)
I will start off by saying I love the color, style, features, easy driving and comfort of my Elantra. I had my car for a few months and had to do a lot of driving across province for family reasons. The car was at roughly 4500 km when I started having problems. It would start randomly lagging if I was driving over 60 km/h which is basically all the time on highway driving. I took it in a few times, but with not a single light on or code to use to diagnose it, they had no idea what was causing it. It got so bad that when it got Into 5th gear it would stay there and not drop back down no matter my speed which eventually caused it to stall on the side of the highway. Hyundai headquarters told my dealership to replace the transmission (at not even 6000 kms!) and send it back for testing. 4 months later and I just had to take it back in as it started again.unless the problem is solved, I will likely have to have another transmission (or trade the d**n thing in :( )

My great Hyundai experience.
It is a great car. I have not had any problems with it. I have owned Hyundais for 20 years and never had a problem. It gas mileage is great, performance is great. The Hyundai folks are great to deal with. I always get a great deal on trade ins. I will continue to buy these cars.

Fast car, less gas to pay for and long lasting.
No problems, I love the car and it is cheap on gas. The warranty does not cover enough and the insurance can be expensive while the driving experience is amazing. I hope that people who drives the same car have as good of an experience as I have had.

Bad Transmission
Transmission stopped working at 3500 miles on new Elantra and needed to be replaced. It took over two weeks and was covered by warranty. Now at 6500 miles, I can feel it starting again (RPMs jumping, car accelerating, revving/jumping/shuttering, or not accelerating when I press the gas pedal) and was "offered" to have it diagnosed at my cost and would need to find my own rental or pay them for it. Now I wait for the transmission to fail again while I'm driving since I refuse to pay $200+ for a problem that was just fixed three months ago on an essentially brand new car. Then I will be contacting a lemon law attorney since I can't afford to rent a car every three months for 2+ weeks even if the rest is covered under warranty.

A comfortable, smooth ride with all around great ambiance and aesthetic.
The car has ran very well since I purchased it new in January of 2020. It is been about 11 months now and I have put 18k miles on it with no issues to date. The car does not have much storage room which is the main flaw I see within the model. It has a fantastic touch screen radio with apple CarPlay. Occasionally CarPlay with automatically disconnect however just unplugging and plugging in your mobile device seems to fix the issue.

Economical but stylish car for everything and everyone.
Great on gas smooth ride and low maintenance stylish, a lot of additional features like mirror and Bluetooth and voice. Good sturdy vehicle good trunk spaces. Would recommend for family holds a lot of equipment. Comfortable seating and easy to clean interior.

This car is amazing on gas.
The Elantra is really good on gas. The seats are nice, the quality of the electronics is good. For some reason it always tells me my tires need more air pressure what is kind of annoying. Other than that I have no problems with this car. I recommend this car to anybody that wants a good car for a lower price.

My vehicle can turn on, lock, and heat up just by clicking a button on an app.
One thing I really like about this car is how it can turn on and also lock from an app I downloaded on my phone. The one thing I dislike is that sometimes the side sensors on the car do not work. Other than that minor issue, the car is very reliable and safe and gets very good gas mileage.

Great starter car with many nice features.
New car very nice gas mileage lots of good safety features as well as good performance. Smaller car with very nice convenience and safety technology. I like that it was affordable but not a bad car. It is very well rounded it is affordable as well as affordable to maintain. Reliable and powerful, with many convenience features.

Power Train with 2.0 and IVT
Yes, I would recommend this vehicle. . 2020 Elantra Luxury Sedan with 2.0 and IVT My 2020 Elantra Sedan Luxury Sedan, 2.0, IVT was built June 15, 2020 in Korea and purchased mid August 2020 in Ottawa ON Canada. I bought it for the following reasons: (1)Power Train: 2.0 engine and IVT transmission is the best power train in the compact car market. It’s very consistent, smooth and performs flawlessly. (2)Economical to drive: The power train along with 17” wheels and cruise control give optimum gas mileage performance. (3)Turning Radius: The turning radius is ideal for driving in and around the underground parking garage. (4)Comfort: The dual air conditioning system can work separately for both the driver and passenger. The leather heated seats are very comfortable. There is adequate room for passengers using the back seat, (5) Convenience: We bought a sedan because we like to travel with our luggage being stored safely out of sight. (6) Safety Features: We like the back and side monitoring sensors and camera. We’ve had it for over 4 months and driven 3,500 km. We couldn’t be more satisfied with our purchase. I should also mention I initially looked at Mazda, Nissan, Volkswagen, Civic, Corolla along with Elantra, all very popular cars. I bought my first new car, a Volkswagen in 1958 and I’ve had numerous types and brands over the years. I’ve also driven about 3,500,000 miles in my lifetime through 8 Provinces in Canada and 21 States in the USA.

Love the sleek lines and the wheel covers.
My car is comfortable to ride and drive. It handles easily. It has a beautiful design. I need a separate department for sunglasses overhead and a coin container. Love the all over room and leg room. I do have difficulty pulling the door once I am in my seat. It swings so wide and I strain to close the door. I'd like seat controls on passenger side to be same as driver.

The 2020 Elantra is a good car.
The car overall is very comfortable. It has fantastic miles per gallon and drives very well. I am not sure of the exact mpg, but I have done hour long trips and managed to only drain a quarter of the tank (if that!). The Bluetooth capabilities are also a major plus and the hands-free calling works amazingly well. All in all, a really good car!

3 driving modes, fuel efficiency, technology. Lane assistant, and camera.
I really enjoy driving my car. Great technology and fuel efficiency. My only issue is that I am used to drive cars with more room. The seats are a little narrow for me. In terms of performance, the car drives very nice, the sport mode provides great acceleration when need it. You can switch between the different driving modes without any issues. The service plan that comes with the lease is also great.

The auto stop feature is my favorite feature of the car.
The Elantra brings the comfort of being at home, on the road. I absolutely love my car. It gets the job done. I love the color, and u love the co features. I think it is the perfect car for millennials or newbie car drivers. I absolutely love the auto stop feature.

Can be noisy but overall fantastic.
So the only complaint I have about the vehicle is that it was noisy. Luckily we got the Ziebart treatment done to it which does in fact lessen the noise from the road. But overall I love this vehicle. All the features on it are amazing. Lane assist, blind spot lights and even a alert if it senses you are driving erratically after being on the road for hours. It's a great car.

Favorite vehicle I have ever owned.
I have not had any problems after buying this car so far. The gas mileage is amazing. To fill my tank it is only about $20 and it lasts me about two weeks. The seats are very comfortable. I delivery drive often and do not have any discomfort. This is my favorite vehicle I have ever owned.

Love this car! Just a wonderful car to have!
Drives smooth. Love it! Love the heated seats. Not too small but not to big. Great on gas. Very comfortable. Would highly consider you getting this car. Don't have to hit the trunk to open, just put your key to it and it will open itself. Hands free, it could just be in your pocket. Just adore this car so much. It's the first car that I bought and I am in love with the features.

My car is smaller in size with a decent front screen and comfortable seats.
It is a good running car. Much smaller but great mileage. Not as smooth of a drive as my other sedans, but not too much of a difference. The warranty has always been my favorite for Hyundai’s. I do not drive my car as much so my warranty will work perfectly.

Review if Hyundai Elantra 2020.
I have not encountered any issues so far with Hyundai Elantra. The car seems reliable and very enjoyable to drive. It is comfortable and has necessary features for smooth ride. Even without having all the extra features, basic model is quite satisfying.

2020 Hyundai Elantra is relatively inexpensive and runs great!
It drives smoothly, is great on gas, and alerts me when I am falling into another lane. The size of it allows me to easily fit into parking spaces, and there is a 'sport' option if I need to pick up speed in a hurry. The air and heat work just fine, and windows and locks are automatic. The car is set up so that you cannot lock yourself out by accidentally locking the car door manually, and then closing the door.

It is a bright ruby red with an amazing sport build & feature!
My vehicle is very reliable with a smooth drive that guarantees a comfortable drive no matter the distance. I only have about 18000 miles on my vehicle making it basically brand new. I have made plans to make sure that I keep this for at least 3 years!

Breaking and lane changing alert.
The Elantra drives smooth. Great suspension. Love the lane alert and the breaking alarm as well. Seats are comfortable and roomy. The screen display is the perfect size. Love the recording option for the series radio. The backup camera and the traffic crossing are very helpful.

Great value for all the features.
I have only had it for a few months, but the included technology was a big step up from my old 2012 Chevy Cruze. I love the safety features like the lane assistance, backup camera, sensors for backup and lane changing, etc. The android auto compatibility is really cool, but I do not generally use it much since I do not stream music from my phone and only need it for directions. The acceleration is not great, but it is functional and it's better if you turn on the sport mode. I wish I could set a default driving mode so I wouldn't have to turn on sport mode every time I get in the car.

Great on gas and very reliable! Haven’t had any issues in the 3 months I have had it. Very smooth ride and has great technology for the price. Depending on the trim level you get you can connect your phone via apple play or android. Great for navigating around work! Would definitely get another Hyundai in the future!

Hyundai Elantra se is a safe car.
There is no apple CarPlay and the car beeps when you go over the line even if you are switching lanes or going around a cyclist. It is very comfortable and easy to drive. The car has a lot of space in the trunk and back seat. I do not like how the radio is set up or the air conditioning. It goes full force every time I turn it on.

Elantra =safety, affordability, longevity, reliability.
I do not like that the car does not beep when it is backing up, nor will it give a warning signal if you are getting close to another vehicle or object. The connection from the phone is confusing. Sometimes it will connect and other times it will not. Other than that I like the car, it is comfortable and practical and affordable. I like that it will indicate if you are moving out of your lane.

The vehicles performance has been very good this far and very reliable. It is also very economical as far as gas goes. Satisfactory features including apple CarPlay which I very much appreciate. Great quality econobox that feels like much more expensive car.
The best thing is the insane gas mileage I get when keeping it under 60mph. At 50 in manual mode in 8th gear it gets 50 mpg. It has a strong enough 2.0l engine and smooth transmission. The backup camera is awesome and big touch screen never gives problem with glare. Only downside is the seat has no lumbar support. Car rides soo smooth, everyone in household enjoys driving it.

The CVT transmission can also be used in manual style. Very fun to drive.
I upgraded from the accent to Elantra. There is much more room in the trunk, driver, and passenger seats. The engine response is smooth and feels very strong. Both front seats have manual height adjustments, and vanity mirrors. The overhead sunglass storage is a favorite. I have not had any problems.

Good comfortable easy to drive vehicle.
My Elantra is comfortable, easy to drive and has safety measures such as alerts when passing too close to another car or when I slide out of my lane. I love that the lights go on when I turn on the window wipers and the ease of connecting my iPhone to car player. I also like being able to accept and make phone calls hands free when it is safe to do so and the convenience of the turn-down back seat for extra large items in trunk. I would prefer a larger eye shade for sun glare and a windshield wiper for the back window as I had on my Veloster last year and the radio could be of better quality. Mostly I would have liked the option of a flat front seat as my husband has difficulty getting in and out of the bucket seat which is why we turned in the Veloster.
