Small but great gas mileage. Bang for the buck.
Gas mileage is amazing. I get 50 to 65 mpg. It is made from recycled materials so feels cheap sometimes. Easy to use and has great functions. It might be smaller for some people that give rides to people. I drive by myself so it is perfect for me. Nobody has ever been in my back seat.

Great gas mileage and great car.
Gets around 60 mpg. Comfortable ride and drives nice. Back window has a bar across that makes visibility a little poor. Overall an excellent car and I am so glad that I bought it that I actually have a second one so me and my wife each have an ioniq and she loves it too.

It gets excellent miles per gallon!
My vehicle is great, and I love the miles per gallon! The air conditioning sometimes comes through the vents even though the air conditioning is off. To combat this problem I can turn the car recirculation feature on, or set the air temperature to what is comfortable if it is going to be leaking out. I also think it would be nice to have the passenger side climate control have the option of being able to set the intensity of the air only on the passenger side.

Gas is a non-issue considering the mileage per tank.
Other than a factory recall for the ac I have had no problems with my vehicle. My only complaint, which is not truly a complaint is that I go so long without needing to put gas in it that I forgot that I do need to make time to go and get gas on occasion.

Great hybrid good value for the price.
Everything is great about my car. I love it. It is got great gas mileage and it is pretty big for the size with a very big trunk. I love everything all about it with my only complaint being that the paint is very thin with the top coat, so it can scratch very easily. But overall I have loved the car.

Ioniq: electric vehicle, long-lasting and comfortable.
It would be better with seat warmers in the front and back. Longer battery life is always a plus. It has not broken down yet, which shows very good durability. The car looks great from the inside and out. It is a little awkwardly small. Otherwise, everything about the car is amazing.

It has smart cruise control, which is almost like a self-driving vehicle.
I really love this car. I previously own a 2017 Hyundai Elantra, which I also loved, but the ioniq hybrid has so many features that are useful. I most love the high gas mileage, I usually get around 43 mpg, and the smart cruise-control, which has saved me a lot of effort during long road trips!

Comparable to the Prius, But Better Value
I have only been driving my car for a month now; it's brand new. I'm loving it though. It was less expensive to lease than the Prius, but the performance is similar. It doesn't feel like a hybrid to drive. Some hybrids are slow to accelerate, but this isn't the case with the Ioniq. It's comfortable and has Apple Carplay, which is a huge plus for me.

Fuel consumption
It's over all a nice car but it doesn't meet the fuel consumption standards as per the specifications which came along with the car .it should consum one litre for a distance of 30.3 km but in fact it doesn't it only gives you from 18- 20 km per a litre a ratio of 30- 32 percent less than the factory specifications which is totally unacceptable. You may try to fill up the fuel tank and zero the trip counter and check, does it meet theapproved specifications. And let me know if you all suffer the same .

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Donella C.

Gas mileage, size of trunk, steering wheel size. Size of inside of vehicle. Leg room, awesome air conditioner. Design of interior and exterior. Color availability. Dashboard, hybrid information. Bluetooth availability, phone usage. Radio.

likeFilled Jenn S.

The mileage is amazing, you can go so much further than normal cars. The bells and whistles are great including the powerful a/c, the apple CarPlay, and the big and clear screen in the center. The seats are also very comfy and are great for those with back problems.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Donella C.

Seat material is not comfortable. Non electric driver's seat. Back seat cup holders. No spare tire. How the console is arranged. Too much inside road noise. Needs another bag holder on back of driver's seat. Sunshades are not long enough.

dislikeFilled Jenn S.

It is a little difficult to get up to high speed on uphills. The car also tends to fall backwards a bit on steep inclines, this is before you put on the break. The back window is kind of small, so you have to really rely on the cameras when you are backing up.
