2018 Hyundai Kona Reviews

I have no problems with my car in any way other than the fact that it is not quite as large and tall as I had hoped it would be. There is plenty of space inside: for reference, my boyfriend and I slept in the back behind the front driver and passenger seats cuddled next to each other with enough room with the back seats folded down and the divider taken out. That also includes all of our clothes in two suitcases, two backpacks, and a couple other bags packed in as well.

Our Kona is fairly new, so have not had any issues and not expecting any since it is such highly rated brand. We love it. I mostly drive I it. The exterior is very stylish, interior has a lot of useful features including, apple carplay, phone system, heated seats, automatic adjustable seats, lane change precautions and other contemporary up to date safety features, push button start, moonroof, 25-27 mph city & 31-34 highway. Very comfortable on long trips, handles and performs very well, a lot of zip giving it a sporty feel.

I absolutely love my 2018 Kona. Between commuting to work, driving my daughter to school and activities, trips to the grocery store, and long drives to the beach... I honestly couldn't be more happy with this car. The seats are comfortable no matter the distance. The touch display and at-hand controls make focusing on the road extremely easy, and the myriad of safety features on the Kona help me rest assured that my family is protected with every mile.

It's a small car, but it has what I want in it, backup camera, keyless entry and start, along with apple carplay. If you're in the driver's seat you're going to be pretty comfortable, and the passengers side isn't bad either, but if you're in the back, good luck. This car isn't meant for hauling, neither people or things. The trunk is tiny and the back seats are not known for legroom. But for the price you"re not getting a bad deal, just don't be surprised when nothing fits either.

I really enjoy my Kona. I used to have a Kia soul and I wanted to upgrade to something more sporty. The Kona is comparable in size to the Kia soul and has a spacious back seat. I enjoy the seat warmers, the merge detectors and the sport mode a lot. It is not as roomy as I would have liked and it still takes a good amount of energy to speed up unless on sport mode. Sport mode is great but it does run gas much quicker. Unfortunately, two years into my lease, I am experiencing what I believe to be an electrical problem. The car has been turning off when I make a sharp right or left turn. This has happened about 10 times in the past two weeks. I am about to get it checked out. Thankfully, that has been the only issue I have had with the car thus forward. I would recommend.

My Kona handles very well in the snow it is an all wheel selective. In the two years I have had the vehicle I just had the tires replaced. It features a sport mode which I do not use. My vehicle has power driver seat which fits perfectly for me because I am short I can set the seat just right. The power in the vehicle is great, I enjoy the vehicle very much, it is a nice size SUV but if I need a vehicle with more storage space this is not the vehicle you should buy.

This car drives extremely smooth and the seats are very comfortable. I absolutely love this car. It was a great look to it and the features are great as well. The breaks are perfect and the car speeds up nice when you are merging onto the highway. It is perfect for short drives or long car rides. I would highly recommend this car to anyone who is interested. The steering wheel is comfortable and the color is great too and the car overall is very spacious. The truck could be a little bigger but that is the least of my worries since this car is so reliable, comfortable, and updated.

The Kona is a super easy drive. I love the simple technology functions of the car. The car is the perfect size for me and pretty spacious for the model. The gas mileage on the car is great also, I can do my normal driving to work and around town and a full tank will generally last more a week or more. The car is also extremely comfortable the sites allow for great view of the road. The additional small windows in the back are also great with blind spots.

I have no problems. This vehicle has many safety features and even has an eco mode to help carbon emissions from gas use it is awesome. The antenna of my car came off but the warranty covers it well for free actually. This car can connect to your iPhone or Samsung from the charger from the screen. This helps answering calls and using the maps in your phone. The screen in the car is touch screen and you can use it to guide you as a GPS system without your phone too. Hd quality and Bluetooth compatible. Camera for backing up and sensors for cars that may be too close to you from all sides of the vehicle. Can be used for new drivers very easy to drive.

The Kona does great as a day to day car but also allows you to take the adventures you love. Sand, snow, dirt, nothing can limit where you go. The safety features such as lane departure, blind spot warning, front end warning, really allow you to drive and feel safe. The seats are not quite as comfortable for long road trips as they were in my 2017 Elantra. And also due to the smaller crossover size the trunk is very small and you end up having to keep your seats down for added room.

I haven't had one single problem with this car since I got it. I leased this vehicle in April 2018 when it was first released and although I was skeptical, considering it was one of the first to be driven and no other reviews had been released, but I made the right decision that day. It is wonderful on gas- only $20 to fill up on half a tank and it drives beautifully. Also, I am very big on interior as well as exterior, but the interior of this car is so simple and clean with enough space that you do not feel like you are being suffocated. The exterior of the car is very sporty and sleek, it gives off a very young feel to it. I had driven the Elantra prior to this and it reminded me, as well as friends, of a car that an older woman would drive, not someone at the age of 21. Honestly, the Hyundai Kona is an amazing car to drive and has caused me zero problems mechanically in the almost two years of driving it.

The kona offers a great deal of comfort and reliability. Even though I have a basic model it comes with Bluetooth for your phone, apple carplay which was a big contributor to the safety features while choosing this vehicle. There is one thing I would like to add sense I am a daily driver, would just be lumbar support. Overall this car is a perfect fit for people just like me who are active and like different weather climates. Most of all it is affordable. The Hyundai kona is playful and inexpensive, making it one of the more appealing subcompact SUVs on the market. I originally wanted a Subaru however they are a bit out of my price range and when going to the Hyundai dealership they sold me on their kona crossover. I love the backup camera and how smooth the car drives having AWD was a must. It is a reliable spacious vehicle and I look forward to growing into it more when the time comes to have a family, there is plenty of room in the back for car seats. The kona has serious get-up-and-go with the turbo engine, and you can get a metric ton of great features for under $30, 000. Hyundai's newcomer packs some pretty aggressive angles, but my eyes keep landing at certain spots. Split headlights are nothing new and are cool looking. Thankfully, the kona once again redeems itself with fuel economy. The epa says the 1. 6-liter, AWD kona will achieve 26 mpg city and 29 mpg highway. I am right about on par with city economy, but once I hit the highway, I see numbers in excess of 30 mpg with little conscious effort.
