2020 Hyundai Palisade Reviews

I'll start with the bad. The automatic engine shut off can be a pain at times. The engine shuts off when you come to a stop, regardless of how long. Even just pulling into the garage. Remembering to activate the disable button helps. There is also a perimeter alarm. It comes in handy for some situations, but if it's activated when the car is parked and shut down, if anyone walks near the car, it goes off. Did I mention the horn is pretty loud? It will get your attention. It is also not so great for traveling with more than 4 people with luggage. For an extended trip, putting storage on the roof rack would be necessary. And now for the good. This is one of the most comfortable cars I have ever driven or rode in. It is a great size that you feel safe, but not too large. It is really good on gas and has a pretty nice maintenance package. USB ports in the seat backs, a cordless phone charger in the front seat center console, lane assist, collision avoidance and a back up camera are a great help. Now if Hyundai could put that into a full size quad cab pick up, I’d be all over it!

The Hyundai truck is awesome. It has the top of the line features. It has crash prevention warnings. If you are coming to close to a car it will warn you and also put on the emergency brakes for you. It also has the features of changing lane warnings. It also has features if you leave a child on the truck the vehicle will set an alarm off with the car running or when the vehicle is turned off. Only of the things I dislike about the truck is if I take the key and leave the car running I am unable to lock the vehicle. It is a great vehicle to have.

I have had my palisade since July 2019. The first 3 months were great. However, it started to sound like a window was cracked open but no window was open. I took it to two dealerships and was told they repaired and the noise was 75% better and there was nothing else todo. The noise is not better!! When you accelerate to speeds of 55 or greater it sounds like an air leak in my ear. Then the service manager said these “issues” are expected on a new model from the manufacturer. He went on to say it’s because of the size of the mirrors. He also said it was because I have a panoramic sun roof. I do not have a panoramic sun roof. I had a panoramic sunroof on my santefe but no window noise! This is my 3rd and last Hyuandi

My 2020 Hyundai palisade has been an excellent choice. I have owned it for 7 months and so far it has been my best vehicle purchase to date. It has excellent features and has been a joy to own. I have not had many issues so far with it being a relatively new vehicle. My only real downside is road noise. The vehicle is not as quiet as I would like for a brand new automobile, other than that I really don't have any complaints. If you are looking for a new SUV I recommend looking at the new Hyundai palisade for your next vehicle.

The cabin room and initial perception of luxury have been overshadowed by early surfacing construction and electronic issues. No, I would not recommend a Hyundai Palisade until the manufacturer fixes the major bugs in the vehicle. We are experiencing issues with our A/C system, second row seat squeaking & randomly coming unlocked from locked leg position (permitting seat to slide dangerously along track), leather finish defect / wearing off without misuse or improper cleaning, increasing cabin noise due to poor seal construction, and noisy engine / valve sounds. Many of these issues are mentioned in the Palisade Forum. Ours is not the only vehicle that has issues. So far, not impressed with so many issues surfacing before the first 7000 mile oil change- fear how this vehicle will hold up and if major computer issues will surface.

I love that even the base model comes with so many great features. My favorites are the apple car play, Bluetooth capabilities, and 5 USB charging ports. The favorite safety features are the rear camera, lane keeping assist, and adaptive cruise control. The vehicle gets decent gas mileage for an SUV. I average about 28 mpg. In my opinion, the cons the base model are that the driver seat cannot be adjusted electronically, the back hatch cannot be opened from inside the vehicle, and there is no blind spot detection. My favorite 'overlooked' feature is the two compartment storage in the center console with the optional cover.

I am in love with the 2020 palisade! It offers a comfortable seat and a lot of wonderful options for a comfortable ride. It gets really good gas mileage! It offers phenomenal electronic features and a top of the line sound system. The capital one chat is in the second row are a comfortable ride for passengers as well as the third row bench seat. It sits high enough off the floor for a comfortable ride. The bench seat in the back folds down for a spacious hauling option. The outside of the vehicle looks like a top of the line luxury model for half the price tag!

The car drives extremely well and it is comfortable as well. I bought a palisade with the bucket seats which provides premium comfort and space for my kids. My only issues with the vehicle is no Sirius XM radio and an ongoing problem with the seal in the front window. While driving on the interstate or at a high rate of speed, you can hear the wind blowing through the seal which is quite annoying. Apparently, this is a common problem with the palisade. However, the deal is in the process of getting it fixed. Overall, we are extremely pleased with the vehicle.

This is the most spacious car I have ever had with 3 rows. Each row has plenty of legroom. Tech is my second favorite part. There are plenty of USB ports for my kids ipods and iPads. There's a big screen for GPS and CarPlay features. Lots of USB ports in the front row and a charging pad so that I never have to share with my wife. Price wise this car is amazing, I had originally planned on buying a 3 row Santa Fe that had far less tech features and was probably $10k more. I am also surprised by the gas mileage, this car has a larger tank then my old Santa Fe, and is much bigger but uses the same amount or possibly less gas on the high. The ride is smooth and the handling is great. My only issue may be that even though I have a back up cam I still have a lot of blind spots. And the back up cam is almost useless int he ran because droplets wet the camera easily.

I searched for an SUV from march until December. I thought I was going to get the telluride after all of my research and test drives, but then I saw the palisade- at night. I wondered what it was and sped up to it. I was very surprised at how beautiful it was. The next day I test drove the palisade- sel model. Fell in love... But I knew I would want the limited. I went with my gut and looked for the silver and got a great deal. It is a great SUV. It is a smooth ride, comfortable, beautiful, unique, great price, no issues, I love it.

Overall the 2020 Hyundai palisade is a great family vehicle. We have the captain seats with the full third row in the back. The captain seats are perfect for 2 car seats and baby supplies in the middle. There is plenty of legroom in all of the seats. In addition, the back is roomy and fits a double stroller with a lot of room left for other items. The downside is the hatch is not automatic which is more cumbersome to use when your hands are full. The automatic braking is very sensitive when driving on narrow roads or close to the shoulder and the rear collision warning displays an error message everytime I drive. Overall, I am happy with the SUV and its size, however, there are some corners that I feel were cut to make room for the extras. For example no automatic hatch or powered seats.

The car is great for people who travel or have kids. The versatility of the vehicle is great. My complaints are the wind noise you get. It sounds like a window is not rolled up all the way at it can get annoying. I wish the side mirrors would fold in at the push of a button. It would be nice to lower the hatchback with your foot. Sometimes my hands are full and I have to go back to the car just to close the back. The navigation and voice commands could be better. It does not seem to understand.

Things we love: 8 passenger seating, plenty of USB ports, drive assistance, keyless entry, option for tow hitch and cross bars (we take lots of road trips), very spacious for a mid size SUV, excellent gas mileage for an SUV, cargo space is great, plenty of legroom for all passengers, drives very smooth, looks sporty and stylish, power sunroof. Dislikes: was very difficult to find an sel trim with a second row bench seat. We wanted to get the sel with bench in leather, however multiple dealerships did not have the option, although we could have had leather installed but the cost was more than desired to spend.

I love how easy it is to switch between cargo space and the third row of seats. The captains chairs make the ride comfortable for everyone. I love the blind-spot mirrors and the back up cameras. The drive is so smooth. My only complaint is that within six months of purchasing it I had to go back to the dealership to get a software update because the blind-spot mirrors weren't working correctly. I worry a bit now that I am going to be sitting a lot waiting while I do constant software updates.

It is a great vehicle with many standard features that are optional on many other vehicles. Very comfortable seating, smooth ride, lots of power and very functional instrument panel. Lots of storage room. It does not have a gear shift therefore it has storage under the center console. The instrument panel is very easy to read. It has dual air conditioning and heat control for both driver and passenger. Has blind spot warning, lane assist and wide angle backup camera which notifies you when someone is a approaching in the lane behind you. So many features is hard to describe. We are thrilled with our car.

The palisade has many new features such as a virtual dashboard that is very easy to see and use. Other new features are apple carplay, wireless charging, many charging ports, a place to plug in a charging cube, heated seats, cooled seats, and many different modes to drive in. There haven't been any problems with the car yet and it drives very well. Since it has many different modes to drive in it is very comfortable for everyone. The seats are also very comfortable because of the heating and cooling and they are very soft.
