Perfect for families who need larger backseat but don't want a large vehicle.

2012 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

The Santa Fe is a great vehicle for families that need a little bit larger of a backseat (think teenagers or multiple car seats) but don't want a huge SUV. I get decent gas mileage'about 20 on the highway and 15 in traffic or town'especially for the age of the vehicle. The body still looks good, even though I have to park outside in the weather. There are minimal rust issues. Also, the bumpers are strong and sturdy. I feel very safe driving this car, and feel comfortable letting my daughter, who is a newer driver, drive it. The turning radius is not very good, so sometimes having to get out of a narrow parallel parking spot or performing a u-turn can be a little challenging. The seats do adjust; however, sometimes it is difficult to find the exact perfect position for me, since I have shorter legs. And driving for any extended period of time can become uncomfortable, as there is not a great deal of lumbar support in the seats. Overall, this car does great, especially for shorter trips (to and from work and church, shorter travel'a few hours away max, around town to shop or run errands). If five people have to fit in it for a long time (driver, passenger, and three in backseat), it is not comfortable for very long, but does work for shorter trips.

Outstanding warranty. The great warranty was why I purchased the santa fe!

2012 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

The 2012 Hyundai santa fe I own has over 131,000 miles and I have had very few problems other than normal maintenance on the vehicle. The only major repair I had was to have an axle replaced due to hitting a pothole. The vehicle drives smoothly and gets 26 miles to the gallon. Comfortable seating and more than adequate space. The ac and heating system works very well as does the sound system. I would definitely recommend the santa fe and probably repurchase when the time comes.

Small car, perfect for errands.

2012 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

It's quite small. It's perfect for an everyday car to run errands in. It only holds five people. If you have car seats in the back it gets even tighter. The trunk area is spacious though. It gets good gas mileage. I wouldn't recommend taking it long car rides. It takes awhile to get up those steep hills on road trips. Plus it's not very comfortable for long car rides. It drives like a regular car but one that sits higher.

Great family car and very roomy.

2012 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

My SUV has been really great I haven't had any problems but having to replace the alternator in the last 3 years I've had it. It's a great family car and very roomy. We all love it. I feel very safe in it as well so my kids are around they age to drive and I am so thankful we have this car so they can learn in because it's a really good car I would suggest it to anyone. Its long lasting as well.

Santa Fe Summary by Cindy

2012 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

I like this car. There is room in the front seat as well as in the back. It has good headroom. The seats are more comfortable than many cars I have had. It sits high enough that I can see well when I drive. It has been a dependable car that we bought second hand. There is a large storage area in the back that will hold a great deal.

Great family or single person car

2012 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

Great on gas mileage. Only had one problem with it in the past 6 years and that was the gas cap, had to replaced with twice. Roomy with seats that fold down and give lots of storage room. Will probably upgrade to the same make and model when I go to buy a new one. They are made to last. Only at 84000 and it is holding up great.

Vehicle Hyundai's Santa Fe Feature Review

2012 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

It gets good gas mileage and drives smoothly. We haven't had any major problems with it aside from the AC needing to be replaced after 8 years. I do wish the trunk space was bigger. I mostly drive around the city so I like that it has an eco mode which uses less gas when not on the freeway.

This car is really good for adventurous couples.

2012 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

It is a very smooth ride, but the look is outdated. I wish that my model had 4-wheel drive but it does not. There is a lot of cargo space and a spacious back seat. They fold down to create even more cargo space. I really like the hands free calling buttons on the steering wheel.

Storage and hands free is great

2012 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

I enjoy driving my Hyundai Santa Fe. The extra hidden storage is great for drinks, sports equipment and many other items. Bluetooth option is great while driving, I love that it also has the USB option for music in your memory stick or any other USB items you may want to use.

Reliable and dependable..

2012 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

Main problem is tail light replaced as moisture gets in twice and just had a transmission sensor replaced which was around $1,000. There are no other problems that I have encountered. Wish it was at least a six cylinder for more power the four cylinder is tough with an SUV

My car Santa Fe, the white one

2012 Hyundai Santa Fe GLS

It's been a great car no problems reported but tires, it's good on gas, it's a very smooth ride, it's the best car I have owned so far, the only thing I would change is the total payments every month, they are outrageous, the car isn't worth 17,000 dollars

2012 Hyundai Santa is okay for the money but a newer model would perform better.
