I've had problems

2010 Hyundai Sonata gls

My 2010 only has 67K miles. For the most part it's been OK. Car still runs quiet. But I've had some major repairs. I was unable to change gears at one point, and was told that the drive train warranty didn't cover my repair. Then, starting in year 6, I started to lose door handles. That's right -- you'd just open a door normally and the door handle would come right off in your hand. I see others on the internet who reported this -- it's a known mfg defect and Hyundai has been slow to take any responsibility. Give tne cost of the part, the paint job, and the installation, it's over $200 every time this has happened, and I'm now repairing my 5th (yes, one that broke off previously is broken again). Manufacturer is not helping.

Hyundai sonata is a solid vehicle as a family car.

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

My Hyundai has been far better than my initial expectations. I traded in a Saturn l300 that was fully loaded, but beyond it is useful life. The dealership had changed to Hyundai with the death of the Saturn brand, and I liked the dealership. While my sonata is not the totally stripped down model, it is pretty bare-bones. It has had no real issues mechanically, and has maintained well as far as appearance is concerned, too - no paint issues, etc. I have around 125,000 miles on it, and only routine maintenance has been needed. The brakes have been replaced recently, but no transmission problems or physical defects have occurred since I bought it new in 2010.

Car got a great amount of gas mileage and run smoothly.

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

My car was used when I bought it at the dealership so it wasn't expensive. The performance is excellent and I love that it has a good gas mileage. Full tank will Last me up to three weeks. I've had it for two years and the only problem I have since I bought it was the brakes pad. It wear off and make squeaky noise so I had to replaced it. I love Hyundai Sonata and love the shape of it because it's not too big to drive for me and plus it's an automatic so it's not complicated to use at all. Overall it is a really great car and good for people who like to go places and won't be spending a lot of money on gas.

It has over 180,000 miles and stills sounds great

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

Overall a reliable vehicle that handles long drives well, a couple wheel bearing assembly replacements, XM radio is available, there is an auxiliary port as well as a USB port, aux cable does not always have a full connection leaving only one speaker, very spacious trunk, CD player is available and works, ac and heat both work well and provide comfort in a variety of weather, 3 door handles have come off over the years with the previous owner

My Red and Long Lasting Sonata

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

I purchased my car from a private seller. It already had 100k miles on it, but still ran pretty nice. There is almost 180k on it and it is very obvious the transmission is very close to dying on me. The gas meter also isn't accurate. It would break down on me on parkways when I thought I had enough gas to go home. also, I have to slowly put gas in the car otherwise it will spew out. I clearly need a new car.

Hyundai sonata: The most interesting detail of the car is its strong power.

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

The Hyundai is extremely reliable as I only need to change the oil every 5000 miles. It has great acceleration with above average performance. I inherited the car after my mother passed away in 2016, and it has sentimental value as well. I will keep the car even when I am ready to purchase another car in the next two years. Again, I have been very satisfied with the Hyundai.

It is a good looking car that takes me places. I do not experience many issues.

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

The check engine light is on. I have had this with two separate Hyundai cars. I think the Hyundai engine is just weak. It drives well though and it is a beautiful car! Worth the price I paid for it, I guess. It takes me to school (which is 36 minutes away) and to work on the weekends (which is 15 minutes away). I have been driving it for a year now.

Overheating and acceleration

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

My car will overheat when it idols and it goes through coolant very quickly. The A/C will stop being cold when the car does overheat while idle. The car seems like it is sluggish while accelerating. That normally isn't a problem, but it is when people around me are driving recklessly it makes it hard to react to them.

- Breck S

It is a good car. I like. Very comfortable.

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

My car is a good car, comfortable, spacious, in these years I have only had to do maintenance like changing the battery and the brakes. I worry about giving it in necessary maintenance, oil change every three months. I use it since 2010 when I buy it and use it to go to work, walk, and go shopping.

2010 Hyundai sonata gray model.

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

My sonata got a lot of chips and scrapes along it is coating but internally it had few problems otherwise. It was comfortable to drive in, drove as you'd expect for a midsize sedan, and had pretty good fuel academy for that sized car from 2010. Overall it was a great, reliable car.

Comfortable to drive, easy to maneuver.

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

Very comfortable to drive, easy to handle, no problems at all during ownership, decent on gas expenses, good for long trips, roomy inside and plenty of trunk space, all around very nice car to drive; original brakes lasted over 5 years; good mid-size car for one person or a couple.

- Maria S

I love how my car doesn't waste as much gas, as other cars do

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

My car for the most part is pretty reliable but there are a few things here and they're that I need to fix, I just wish it was a lot more comfortable to drive. The ac function wasn't working for awhile but it was easily fixed. Other than that I've never had a problem

2010 Hyundai sonata review

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

Only issue I've ever had with the car is that the door handles broke off and had to be replaced. Otherwise the car is great never any real big issues. No recalls on this year of car. As long as you keep up with the normal maintenance you will have no real issues.

- MATTHEW M

It's a modem vehicle that I would recommend to younger drivers

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

Reliable, has some defects with vcm motor and handle. Overall it performs well and drives very nicely. Would overall recommend this for people who first start driving and are looking for low insurance rates. Will also stall at times but that can be looked into

Very reliable car with minimal issues

2010 Hyundai Sonata GLS

Great car overall. Very spacious and roomy. Nice for tall/bigger people. Drives like a dream, especially at highway speeds. Splash guard is somewhat cheap and falls off easily with can cause issues. Nice mid-size sedan with ample trunk space as well.
