Car has good comfort, great mileage, very reliable, low cost to own as repairs are very minimal. Pick up could be better when running your air conditioner. Good service at the dealers. Back seat is roomy and comfortable for your passengers and very large trunk space for storage.

Amazing car for anyone to own.
This car is amazing, it is the best car I have ever owned. It has nice seats with warmers built in. Power windows and mirrors. The ability to switch drive style from automatic, to eco, and to sport which it has paddles being the steering wheel for that mode of driving. I have had no issues with this car up to this point.

So far no big issues is a good car just need better features, like the technology inside can have some improvements but other than that is a very reliable vehicle, a full spare tire would be nice instead of having that little donut that does not let you go into the freeway.

Zero issues with this car.
This is a very reliable vehicle and we have had virtually zero issues with it since getting it. Literally the only complaint that I can think of is the fact that the backseat is very bright with the way the back window is and it is hard to block out any of the sun for children in car seats. The features in the car are great and it handles amazingly well.

Out of all the vehicles sonata is best.
This is our second sonata and that is because we loved the first so much we had to buy a second. The vehicle is extremely comfortable and great for long trips but we've also never had any issues with them. Routine maintenance is about all we've ever had to deal with.

I have had better. Honda civic gave me less problems.
Oil pan broke getting an oil change. Seatbelt does not retract all the way. Seat gets stuck when adjusting. Acceleration is weak. Software update was not done BC I was told my car did not need to be done and then my car shut off in the middle of driving it. Radio always had static.

It is actually a beautiful mix between sky blue and ocean blue.
I have only had one problem. The starter went bad which was really upsetting being that it is a newer vehicle. It is has comfort, eco and sports mode. I use them all according to my drive in that moment. It has lots of trunk space! Along with just enough space in the car itself.

Pros and cons of the Hyundai sonata.
I love the overall feel of the vehicle, but the acceleration is not that great. For a sedan it is very spacious and surprisingly family friendly. The Bluetooth features are a plus, and I love the backup camera. For someone who is wanting a sporty car, however, definitely not the right choice.

I have not had any problems with this vehicle ever since I leased it two years ago. The car is very reliable on gas mileage. It comes with a great warranty from the manufacturer. The car is also very spacious. I have used it on many trips and I can say the trunk fits plenty of luggage.

The best things about the Hyundai sonata are the safety features. It warns you of any vehicle in your blind spot, when a person or object is in your way when backing up and when you get too close the a vehicle in front of you. The shifter can be moved to the left which changes it from automatic to manual.
Sometimes my CarPlay cuts out- but gas mileage comfort and space is all great! I know there was a class action lawsuit against it so now I have a lifetime powertrain warranty. The screen is still very responsive and calibrated. The only issue I have had with the car physically in the last two years was my trunk latch broke and would not close anymore.

The Sonata drives well and stop when it is meant to.
I have not had a problem with this vehicle yet. Aside from missing a cap on a tire, everything has been well so far. The driving is smooth. The brakes do their job. The back-up camera seems a distraction and the radio and onscreen nonsense seem a bit too flashy and unnecessary.

When I purchased there was only 40,000 miles on it and it was in great shape. I still had 60,000 miles left on the warranty. This part was super important to me and I loved how long the Hyundai warranty was!

I have had a lot of servicing issues. I also feel as though other brands of cars provide more features in their base model, such as leather interior, sun roof, efficient sound system, etc. I previously had a Mazda and I enjoyed that car much more than the Hyundai that I currently have.

I have not had any problems with my car. The gas mileage is great and the features it included is amazing. I only have to fill up my tank about once a week. I have two small kids so I have two car seats and they fit perfectly with room for another person in the middle. The trunk is big and spacious and I can fit my double stroller along with toys and other things we need for the day. It comes with the backup camera and Bluetooth capability. I highly would recommend my car to anyone who is in the market.

Compact SUV with all wheel drive.
It is a very basic vehicle. It drives fine, but not great on gas mileage. I like the fact that is it is all wheel drive. The inside is roomy and comfortable. Backup camera is useful. Overall the car handles well. It is new so I haven't had any maintenance issues.

Sensor powered great notice.

I would buy another sonata 2018.
The Hyundai sonata is comfortable drive, especially with heated seats. Apple car play is a convenient feature that allows you to connect your phone and then never have to touch it again. It also allows you to utilize the maps app, so spending extra on navigation systems is not necessary. There is plenty of room inside for 4 passengers and the trunk is very spacious. Would recommend for anyone looking for a care with a lot of space but not an SUV.

Great extras. The smart cruise is an excellent feature. Blind spot detection and lane departure warnings are safety forward. I would like a little more horsepower. Back seat incredibly roomy. Would have liked dual exhaust. Navigation system is not the best. Apple CarPlay makes it unnecessary anyway.

2018 sonata best car I've owned
This is the best car I have ever had. I have it as a 3 year lease. I have had 0 issues with problems or performance. The seats and wheel are comfortable. Everyone comments about how much leg room there is. I like Apple car play it allows me to display the maps from my phone onto the car screen vs using a map directly from the car. I can also talk to the car and it will text people for me so I don't text and drive.

My vehicle is luxury for cheap and saves me lots of money on gas.
I feel like the outside metal is cheap but for having a nicer car that looks like a luxury car on the inside, the price is amazing. I love how well made the leather and the heated and cooling seats and steering wheels. The vehicle gets really good gas mileage. I drive to Atlanta from North Carolina a lot and I maybe have to only fill the car up three times if not wanting to run fully empty.

I love my 2018 sonata, black beauty!
I love the way my 2018 Hyundai sonata se looks! It is black and gorgeous, the styling is so beautiful and even though it is the base model, it looks awesome! It has a nice and roomy interior, my only complaint about it is that there is too much plastic inside, looks a little cheap, but other than that it is really nice inside, roomy and comfortable. The instrument panel is really easy to see and I love the 7' touch screen and apple carplay, a great feature! The base 2.4l engine has 185 horsepower, more than enough for around town driving and for merging on the highway. Gas mileage is good, not the best in class but it is very good. It has a huge trunk and you can fold the rear seats down for more storage. The car is comfortable and quiet on the road, visibility is also very good. It feels safe and secure on the road, handling is very good. It comes standard with blind spot monitoring and rear cross traffic alert as well. Put all this together with America's best warranty and you have a well made, family sedan that should be on your list of midsize cars if you are shopping for one.

I love the look of my car. It is comfortable inside, has good cup holders, adequate USB ports, and rides smooth. The back seat includes a pull-down armrest with dual cup holders. I do not like that there are no vents for rear passengers. I also do not like that there are no armrests for the front seats.

Hyundai makes a value based care.
No issues mechanically with my car. I have had it 2 years. The only issue I have is the apple carplay feature does not always work. Also on the steering wheel controls the volume toggle switch is broken. I would say the build quality is nice but does not have the same feel as a Honda or Toyota.

The car is reliable, has had no issues, and gets great gas mileage. It has a wonderful sound system and is incredibly comfortable to drive. I have traveled across the country in the car twice. Both times was smooth sailing. The steering wheel heater is a feature I didn't think I would enjoy, but has been fantastic during the winter months.

Happy sonata hybrid owners.
We're very happy with our sonata hybrid. My wife and I are both surprised at the quick acceleration of the hybrid 4 cylinder engine. Even though I have a lead foot we still average around 30 mpg. The ride is far superior to that of the 2011 caddy srx this vehicle replaced. The seats are comfortable and the leg and headroom are more than sufficient for my 5'11' frame. We love the android auto compatibility which makes it easy to use the phone and listen to music or podcasts, or even hands free text without taking focus off the road. Great safety features too. The fit and finish of the body is impressive. We've taken several all day excursions and look forward to a cross country drive or two this summer because of the comfort this car offers.

I love my Hyundai Sonata!
We purchased the vehicle in June of this year and there have been no problems. It performs beautifully and is very reliable. The seating is very comfortable and it rides like a more expensive car. We made our first long trip in it in July and it averaged 36 miles to the gallon. That is impressive for the size! The only thing negative I have found would be a bit of wind noise with the window up on driver's side.

Great family car that is still stylish.

This is a reliable vehicle to help get me to and from, it is easy on gas, spacious, and has a great sound system. Additionally the car has a sleek look and drives smoothly. This Hyundai sonata also has a sport mode built in to allow for fast driving. Although the car is not very flashy in terms of new technology, it is a great big for a first car!

Convenient car that is really great on gas and has amazing features.
I love the new feature such as the backup camera, road lane assistant, and detects me when other cars are nearby. It's very spacious for a four door and has a big trunk which I love. Drives really well and includes drive mode feature that's convenient for any type of drivers.

All of the features that make driving easier, and safer like the back up camera and the ability to use your phone hands free through the speakers.
I have a 2018 Hyundai Sonata Sport and I absolutely LOVE my car. I love the large touch screen pad on the dash, the keyless entry and keyless start, all of the buttons to control the radio as well as phone on my steering wheel, and of course the back up camera. I'll never drive another car without a back up camera again.

The best thing about 2020.
Everything you could want or need is transportation. Hyundai is the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Driver assist is a helpful tool as I am in my car daily. Heated seats and heating steering wheel have changed my life. I will never buy another car without those amenities.

My Hyundai was an excellent choice.
This is my first Hyundai and it was an excellent choice. It is very comfortable and roomy. I often need trunk space for my collecting and it is very spacious. The fuel efficiency is very good, and the style is attractive. I have not had any issues with it at all and plan to purchase a new one in may.

Eye popping blue paint job!
This is a great reliable sedan at an affordable price with exceptional roominess and comfort. It handles and accelerates well. Very nice paint job with eye catching color. Plenty of spaciousness in the rear trunk. Overall a all around great value car that comes in 4 door model for family on the go!

Hyundai cars are a really good price compared to other brands
I'm not very good when it comes to cars, but my car has everything I need. I like the colour, I like that it has Sirius radio and other tech features like you can plug your phone in and use Google maps and stuff. It's very roomy inside also

Hyundai sonata: the everyman's taste of luxury.
Drives like a dream although has slow pickup. Incredibly spacious. Small nose and trunk make parallel parking a breeze. Pretty efficient with gas as well. Nice Lexus body. All around a good car. Brakes are sort of lacking though. For the price, however, you cannot beat it.

Our Sonata gets very good gas mileage , has great safety features...like rear view screen for backing up, beeping when crossing the white lines on the road, self breaking and more.
We purchased our Sonata a couple of weeks ago, and really love it! Love the backup screen, the beeping when crossing white lines, and more. We have an SUV before, but are really enjoying the Sonata.

Very reliable car and good for the price.
Overall a really good car. I get 31 miles per gallon on the highway as 22 in the city. The only thing that I dislike is the durability of the inside. My leather is cracking two years in. Also, my silver lining is peeling off the steering wheel area. Car drives really well.

Luxury sedan with a great price tag!!
We just traded our Toyota Camry for this Hyundai sonata and I love this car! The features on this car is so much better! The comfort of the seats and the safety features it has are awesome! I haven't really found anything to complain about this vehicle we have the super cool lakeside blue color. It is a very sharp looking car!

Comfortable ride. Great gas mileage.
It is very comfortable and surprisingly very spacious. Sounds system is outstanding. Drives smooth. Excellent on gas. Very reliable. I would prefer a sunroof. Not sure if they have those. Also doesn't come with car mats. Had to buy my own. Besides that the car is awesome.

My vehicle is pretty decent.
My dad owns the vehicle which is used (about 50k mileage) but in pretty good condition. The gas and brake pedals work just fine, and there are never any engine failures. It has a water dispenser for the windshield wipers for cleaning and also comfortable and adjustable front seats.

My 2018 Hyundai sonata is comfortable for the whole family.
It is so comfortable for my whole family, even in the backseat for my nearly 6ft tall 14 year old. Driving it is comfortable even with a pregnant belly. I love the my Hyundai app and the starting and locking features. I have experienced trouble in the winter with the car not wanting to start when it is very cold. It does not even attempt to below freezing. This started around the time of the polar vortex in the Midwest. The seat control panel is held on by plastic clips and my husband is tall enough he rolls to get out. The plastic clips broke way too easy. Overall I love it and would recommend it.

This Hyundai sonata that I am driving now is amazing. It drives more like a luxury car than an economy car and gets great mileage. It is very quiet inside the cabin and is quite luxurious. It has a lot of fine details like the backup camera and the apple CarPlay system built-in.

Overall, the sonata is quiet, comfortable and as satisfying to drive as any car in its class, which includes some formidable competitors like the Honda accord, Toyota Camry and Nissan Altima. It is a very reliable form of transportation. Spacious for families.
