4WD capabilities, reliable, hardly any maintenance, smooth ride, roomy passenger seating, good handling in the snow, pretty decent miles per gallon considering it is a larger crossover, plastic trunk flooring is great for cleaning, glass of trunk is easily opened for larger loads.
Rarely needs repairs and when it does, they are not very costly. Drives great, super sporty, does not feel like I am driving a small SUV. Handles nicely. Good gas mileage. I have chronic back pain and the seats are super comfortable. The air/heat work amazing!
Pros: Spacious, Quiet, Smooth ride, Gas Saver, Great sound system, Rear seats fold down for added storage, sturdy and beefy luggage rack on top, Easy to maintenance, Cheap maintenance, comes with Electronic Traction Control that, s really helpful in the rain and snow, Great cargo space in the rear hatch.
Drives great in all types of weather and not too large in size. Easy to maintain. Really no cons love this vehicle especially the design. The only con would be that Hyundai has changed the body style with a longer hood hard for short people to see over it.
Runs very smooth and the style is fun. Very easy to drive and not too big. I love it. It is already 14 years old with only 60,000 miles. Still runs like new. I would recommend a Tucson to anyone that would ask me.
This vehicle is very reliable. It is great for mini family vacations due to having good fuel mileage and having a decent amount of space. For being a SUV it is does not feel top heavy like some do which makes me feel safer. It is fully automatic and has plenty of storage space if you have any little ones.
I haven't had any issues nothing has needed to be fixed since I bought it. I like the size and gas mileage is good. It runs really well I can put all the seats down easy I enjoy the color. To put things in if needed also.
Fabric seats and floor are not easily cleaned with pet hair, the trunk is not very spacious, no smart radio feature, no hands free phone capabilities, the headlights go out often and the covers get very grimy quickly, not AWD but it is 4WD, no backup camera, windshield has been cracked by flying pebbles on many occasions, the tire pressure monitoring system is battery operated and when the battery dies it is a dealership only $500 replacement.
It does not have all the bells and whistles. I wish I had a backup camera and seated heats. The right passenger window seems to leak, I can hear air when I am driving. The silver trim on the exterior has 'bubbles' in it and makes the car look older than what it really is.
Cons: Turn radius, Fog lights are not standard on all packages, bad blind spots for the driver when switching lanes, hard to reach Transmission dipstick, Hard to change headlights, Hard to find rear wiper blade replacements, easily dents, comes with tires too small for an SUV, cheap window tint.
Replacement parts are costly especially the windshield wipers. The design of this vehicle has been changed should have kept the old design. Dealership costs are too high found a neighborhood mechanic with better labor rates.
Right now, the undercarriage appears to be starting to rust. Can expect it as it is 14 years old. I really do not have any other cons to write about here, as I love the Hyundai Tucson. I would purchase another one.
Although I feel very safe in this vehicle the blind spots are a little bit more than I like. The take off power is a little slow. And the right side of the terminals for the battery could be easier to change and access other than that it is a great vehicle.
My stereo volume is broken the back wiper is broken off and I've seen that issues on the same make and model of other people's. My air conditioning goes in and out. It seems like something might be leaking a fluid but not sure it's got some rust underneath but that has to do with being in north New York probably.
