Great safety features like blind spot audio and visual warnings in the outside mirrors. It is well designed interior and exterior. I love the eco and sport driving modes too. The suspension does not handle bumps in roads very well. The engine hesitates when you first start driving, but overall I am very satisfied with this vehicle so far.
I love the ride and how the vehicle handles. It's a bit jerky when accelerating. I don't like the turbo engine because that is responsible for the power surges when I accelerate the vehicle. It gets awesome mileage and gas efficiency is very good. It is roomy and comfortable but there is less cargo space than I assumed.
GPS, heated seats, push button rear cargo door opener, lane deviation warning, AWD, electronic side mirror adjustment, reversible rear cargo mat, cargo area cover, fold down rear seats, leather interior, keyless entry,
Blind Spot Detection. Rear View Camera. Roomy. Comfortable. Easy to access dashboard. Media Screen. Leather Seats. Heated and Cooling Seats. Auto Temp. Different Driving Modes. Panoramic Sunroof. Safety. Curtain Airbags.
It is perfect for a family of four because it can comfortably fit up to 4 adults, and the back seats fold flat for being able to move a lot of stuff. Gas mileage is also good. I love this car and would highly recommend.
Some of the pros about my Hyundai Tucson are the spaciousness, the smooth ride, the Bluetooth connection, miles until empty feature. In comparison to other similar vehicles it is very spacious in the back of the car, and the seats are fairly comfortable.
It has great gas mileage. Very roomy and back seats fold down for more storage space if needed. Even though it is an SUV, it drives like a car. I like the fact that I can link my phone to the Bluetooth and be hands free.
It runs well and great on gas. It is comfortable without being huge. I prefer the easy Bluetooth hook up and the electronic set(radio, clock) is very user friendly. The steering wheel controls are very convenient and clear.
Hesitated when first put into drive and not smooth over bumps in roads. Could use better suspension. Also the back cargo area slides things around while driving. This may be due to the weather tech Mats I have installed back there. Plastic is cheap in back seating area and scratches easily giving this great car a cheap looking interior view for back seat riders.
Like I said I don't like the Turbo engine at ALL. It jerks if I am not careful during acceleration. Also even tho it was supposed to give me some advantage for gas mileage I see no difference in gas efficiency in either normal or the Eco mode,
Front passenger seat is not electric adjustable, floor mats are a little difficult to remove for vacuuming, rear cargo area does not hold very much weight before the floor falls in, being pushed by the dealership into expensive preventative maintenance that may not really be needed.
Not too many cons. Our driver's side door is creepy sometimes and the driver's side auto close window doesn't close the first time, every time. A USB or another outlet would be nice in the back seat. I really cannot think of any other cons.
Although it has 5 seatbelts it would be a little too small for 5 people. But I also test drove the Hyundai Santa Fe which is the model slightly larger than the Tucson and I was just not as comfortable driving it because it felt a little too large and cumbersome for me. Since we only have one child at this point the Tucson is perfect and it would be perfect for us to have another child too.
Some cons of my Hyundai Tucson are that it does not have a remote start, it can take an extended period of time for the air or heat to be felt by any passenger, also does not show the oil life remaining, which is a feature my previous vehicle had that I enjoyed greatly.
I wish the screen for the backup camera was a little bigger. However, I believe that in the newer models they may be. I truly and honestly cannot think of anything else that I would complain about.
I have had multiple issues with the electric systems, I.E. The turn signals stop working, the windows and rear lights go out. I do not have any other complaints other than the electrical system issues.
The 2016 Hyundai Tucson has an average owner rating of 4.46 out of 5 which ranks it #11 of 26 other Compact SUVs.
