Hyundai Tucson a great car.
My Tucson is awesome(!) Car, I experienced low maintenance expenses and it has high reliability! Big interior space and less noise than others. Many people think it is a hybrid, however it is normal gas fueled car. Definitely I would highly recommended!

My best investment in my life
Very reliable and spacious inside. When I purchased the SUV I never saw myself driving a SUV. But I feel in love with it and I would never trade it in

First SUV and I highly recommend!
As someone who has always had smaller, more compact cars, getting an SUV type of vehicle was a little scary. But, I was pleasantly surprised that I ended up loving my Hyundai Tucson! It is an extremely smooth-driving car in all weather conditions for an SUV and has great visibility both in front and in the rear. It makes driving in the rain and heavy snow very easy. The interior is spacious, and is great for traveling or those who have long commutes to work. It is extremely reliable in the snow and for every day travel, and gets decent gas mileage for an SUV. Overall, I am glad I decided to go with a Hyundai Tucson, and the size does not hinder its performance or comfort level for someone who has never owned a larger vehicle.
accountCircle Michelle W
It can be started from an app from up to 5 miles away and if it gets stolen you can mark that in your app which shuts the car off allowing it to be found.
My car is reliable. It has heated and vented seats. I also like that it has the Google search functionality.
accountCircle Roxanne L
It is great on saving me gasoline.
I love my car. It is an suv and very sporty. It never gives me any trouble and is so much fun to drive.
accountCircle Danielle S
Perfect size SUV for a small family, reliable, and minimal repair issues.
The only issues the vehicle has had were both did the passenger side door actuators went bad about the same time which rendered the doors inoperable. The dealership replaced them under warranty and we haven't had any further problems. The Tucson is the perfect size for our family and with back seats that lie flat, it makes plenty of room for transporting large items.
accountCircle Connie H
Comfortable and classy without great expense.
Our Tucson is very attractive. It looks like an expensive model. I like the backup camera and the warning sounds when the car gets too close to another car or object. The hands free phone is nice. It is a very comfortable drive. . I really enjoy the keyless entry and the automatic back release.
accountCircle Michelle P
Hyundai has great customer service and warranties
I like the overall style of the vehicle. It seats my family with room to spare. Hyundai vehicles have great warranties

Negative Owner Reviews

accountCircle Elizabeth L
It is unreliable and not safe.
Poorly made. Many issues occurring. Transmission, lights, air conditioning, doors not opening, tires.
accountCircle Ellen Nisely
Acceleration
Nothing but trouble with transmission dual clutch. Hyundai put in a new transmission but it also had some hesitation. Very frustrating to work with Hyundai Corp. I see now there is a proposed class action settlement which should include the Sport!

I lost 20 k because f*****g bad cars
It’s f*****g car I advise everyone start away from Hyundai very bad quality u already got screw from engine and transmission
accountCircle Joyce S
Short, less agile people have difficult getting in the SUV's
Besides being too high for a short person, it is fine. Good ride and steering. Some sorry dealerships
accountCircle Margarita N
It is not good on gas. Have to fill up quicker.
It is bad on gas and doesn't have the best acceleration.
accountCircle Jessica C
My opinion on 2016 Hyundai Tucson all wheel drive.
The Bluetooth connection constantly is going on and off and requires you to press hands free each time while driving. Limited capabilities on touch screen. Absolutely no power in this car. Anytime I go to punch on the gas the rpms scream but the car will not take off until at least 5-8 seconds after the fact.
accountCircle Brianna T
Hyundai’s are gas guzzlers.
Gas guzzler, really comfortable vehicle though, great features, sunroof, great brand in itself, sport feature, cheap money wise, good quality, tank fills up all the way using fifty dollars. Insurance is cheap for this vehicle, great original tires and interior.
accountCircle Jerry B
Dual clutch transmission is the worst!
Hyundai dual clutch transmission is horrible in traffic. Car bucks and feels like it is going to stall. Cannot wait to get rid of it. Other features are fine, buttons not make up for duct transmission. Dealer cover the fact that car did not have regular transmission. Will not purchase another Hyundai.

It has many accessories that I like. Heated seats, GPS system.
I was very disappointed that I needed a brand new engine with only 31,000 miles on the 2016 car. I drive about 7500 miles a year. The new engine was covered by the warranty but you would not expect that to happen so soon. This is our 3rd Hyundai. The last one needed transmission work at only 60,000 miles. Our original vehicle lasted over 125,000 miles without much maintenance.
accountCircle Wilhelm C on June 20, 2021
Long term love with my ride but may be time to break up.
I have had minimal problems but now at the 100k mark I have began to have multiple minor issues. Windows have been an issue and one was just repaired less than a year ago. I also had to have a rebuild of the turbo in the engine last year. Everything was under warranty. I am strongly considering purchasing a new model now.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled William J.

Great safety features like blind spot audio and visual warnings in the outside mirrors. It is well designed interior and exterior. I love the eco and sport driving modes too. The suspension does not handle bumps in roads very well. The engine hesitates when you first start driving, but overall I am very satisfied with this vehicle so far.

likeFilled Jan M.

I love the ride and how the vehicle handles. It's a bit jerky when accelerating. I don't like the turbo engine because that is responsible for the power surges when I accelerate the vehicle. It gets awesome mileage and gas efficiency is very good. It is roomy and comfortable but there is less cargo space than I assumed.

likeFilled Tim W.

GPS, heated seats, push button rear cargo door opener, lane deviation warning, AWD, electronic side mirror adjustment, reversible rear cargo mat, cargo area cover, fold down rear seats, leather interior, keyless entry,

likeFilled Candice L.

Blind Spot Detection. Rear View Camera. Roomy. Comfortable. Easy to access dashboard. Media Screen. Leather Seats. Heated and Cooling Seats. Auto Temp. Different Driving Modes. Panoramic Sunroof. Safety. Curtain Airbags.

likeFilled Taylor D.

It is perfect for a family of four because it can comfortably fit up to 4 adults, and the back seats fold flat for being able to move a lot of stuff. Gas mileage is also good. I love this car and would highly recommend.

likeFilled Brittany B.

Some of the pros about my Hyundai Tucson are the spaciousness, the smooth ride, the Bluetooth connection, miles until empty feature. In comparison to other similar vehicles it is very spacious in the back of the car, and the seats are fairly comfortable.

likeFilled Connie P.

It has great gas mileage. Very roomy and back seats fold down for more storage space if needed. Even though it is an SUV, it drives like a car. I like the fact that I can link my phone to the Bluetooth and be hands free.

likeFilled Luster B.

It runs well and great on gas. It is comfortable without being huge. I prefer the easy Bluetooth hook up and the electronic set(radio, clock) is very user friendly. The steering wheel controls are very convenient and clear.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled William J.

Hesitated when first put into drive and not smooth over bumps in roads. Could use better suspension. Also the back cargo area slides things around while driving. This may be due to the weather tech Mats I have installed back there. Plastic is cheap in back seating area and scratches easily giving this great car a cheap looking interior view for back seat riders.

dislikeFilled Jan M.

Like I said I don't like the Turbo engine at ALL. It jerks if I am not careful during acceleration. Also even tho it was supposed to give me some advantage for gas mileage I see no difference in gas efficiency in either normal or the Eco mode,

dislikeFilled Tim W.

Front passenger seat is not electric adjustable, floor mats are a little difficult to remove for vacuuming, rear cargo area does not hold very much weight before the floor falls in, being pushed by the dealership into expensive preventative maintenance that may not really be needed.

dislikeFilled Candice L.

Not too many cons. Our driver's side door is creepy sometimes and the driver's side auto close window doesn't close the first time, every time. A USB or another outlet would be nice in the back seat. I really cannot think of any other cons.

dislikeFilled Taylor D.

Although it has 5 seatbelts it would be a little too small for 5 people. But I also test drove the Hyundai Santa Fe which is the model slightly larger than the Tucson and I was just not as comfortable driving it because it felt a little too large and cumbersome for me. Since we only have one child at this point the Tucson is perfect and it would be perfect for us to have another child too.

dislikeFilled Brittany B.

Some cons of my Hyundai Tucson are that it does not have a remote start, it can take an extended period of time for the air or heat to be felt by any passenger, also does not show the oil life remaining, which is a feature my previous vehicle had that I enjoyed greatly.

dislikeFilled Connie P.

I wish the screen for the backup camera was a little bigger. However, I believe that in the newer models they may be. I truly and honestly cannot think of anything else that I would complain about.

dislikeFilled Luster B.

I have had multiple issues with the electric systems, I.E. The turn signals stop working, the windows and rear lights go out. I do not have any other complaints other than the electrical system issues.

It is the basic model, and priced right. For the money, it is a good vehicle. I have leased it for just over 3 years, and it has not needed any maintenance other than oil changes. It is very reliable.
Renee F.
I think so. It has some jerky acceleration issues I do not like, supposedly due to the 'turbo engine' according to the dealer.

It’s a great vehicle but I have had a couple of problems with it. Twice my back drivers side door has locked up like I have the child safety locks on and the door will not open.
