The best vehicle I purchased in a long time
It drives smooth and pretty good on gas and roomy for my grandchildren. It has not had any major engine problems and the miles are good. I have driven it over 100 miles traveling out of town. Everything came original with the car and my mechanic said I made a great choice when I purchase the car because it's not to repair.

My car is incredibly reliable. It is also very comfortable and can seat many people.
My car is an SUV and I can fit a LOT of stuff in it. The seats fold down so I can put long items it easily. I have had the car for 13 years and never had a mechanical issue.

Reliability
I’ve got 235,000 in a 2003 QX4 and it still runs great.

2000 Infiniti QX4 Superbly reliable, goes virtually anywhere
Bought mine at 300,000kms (187,500 miles). I've owned it for nearly 6 years and clocked 66,000 kms. It's let me down once with a fuel pump failure (understandable). Make sure you replace with a good quality pump, doesn't have to be OEM but it's in the tank and will cost a bit to replace labour wise so buy a good one. It drives superbly, the engine is bomb proof and the transmission is superb, with standard rear wheel drive and an option to select auto 4x4 for when you are on tricky surfaces. I prefer to manually select 4x4 which is also an option, when I am off road or on snow or ice which also enganges the diff lock. If the going is really crazy or you're stuck on a hill in thick mud or the wrong kinda snow then you can also stop and select 4x4 low when, with the right tyres you can climb a mountain (quite literally). If you just want it to putter around town or take a trip coast to coast with the occassional diversion off the pavement then this SUV work just as well. It'll tow too but if you are serious about being off road (especially at speed) or towing more than 50% of your driving then you need to look at a vehicle with a Chassis like the Toyota 4 Runner. If towing huge loads is your thing then you might need a bigger engine too (the Toyota has a great V8 option but it'll cost much more (in Gas too!). Having said that the Infiniti is definately the SUV to do it all (almost!). The interior is luxurious in leather and wood with electric everything and you can find a good one, with under 200,000, miles for around $5K. I like them so much I have 2! (don't ask, I just hate selling stuff!)

If was only a 6 speed!
What a great SUV. Reliable. Drinks gas but doesn't guzzle. Upgrade the brakes and if it's been maintained properly, enjoy!

It is very reliable and has 200,000 miles, still runs great with minimal issues
I like the interior and luxury seating. It is a very reliable car but some of the car has started to rust underneath
