This is the best car I have had in decades. Very reliable through long commutes, comfortable and roomy, ok with gas usage and fun to drive! It is got a smooth ride and does not fail on rough terrain. Good in snow and bad weather. With my maintenance contract purchased from jeep upkeep has been relatively inexpensive.

Make the height of the Cherokee the same as the grand Cherokee.
The problem I have with it is that comparatively to the grand Cherokee or the wrangler. It does not sit at the same height level, and I wish it did. I think the Cherokee would be better for most people, especially myself if it sat at the same level as the gc. You can feel the difference when you sit in them, and drive them.

The jeep Cherokee is reliable and sporty, a perfect family car.
It is a comfortable car that drives well. It is sporty but is also a perfect family car. There’s plenty of room for a large family and for great storage in the truck but it does not feel too big and never is an issue parking in tight sports. The seats are comfortable and roomy. It is holds gas well and performs very well on long car trips. We have had little maintenance issues with it too.

Better mom car than a minivan.
I love this size of this smaller SUV and the look of the car. I wish that I hadn't purchased the first year that the vehicle was released. The jeep has always been a little loud when warming up or idling and was told that all of the 2014 jeep cherokee’s sounded like that. Also had to have the navigation and screen system replaced BC it was defective.

Jeep Cherokee review summary- pros, cons.
I purchased a 2014 jeep Cherokee in 2017 with 55,000 miles on the car. The first year I had no issues whatsoever. The jeep I purchased ran great. As of right now- my jeep has over 100,000 miles. Around 90,000 miles I started having various “code” and transmission issues. By this time I have put into my car more money than I owe. I will say I am impressed by the gas mileage jeeps have, I can go almost a whole week without filling up if I am not traveling. In my personal opinion I do think jeeps are great short term vehicles, if you are looking for a reliable car that will last you year and years I would go a different route. Personally I will never purchase a jeep model car again.

An amazing and safe car! I would recommend it!
Noise when turning. Sometimes it goes away and sometimes I hear it. The windshield wipers come in by themselves and the high beams turn down when they sense a car. If there is a car next to you and try to get over your car will beep really loud. I have a sunroof that is the whole roof.

Interior stays cooler than dark colors.
My jeep is comfortable on long trips, the seats adjust great. I like that I can put the back seat down to haul bigger items. The gas mileage is good and I have had very few problems with the vehicle. Just recently had to get the intake manifold replaced, but it was covered under extended warranty. Other than that no complaints on the vehicle at all.

Great vehicle off-roading especially on soft beach sand.
I had a transmission issue at only 33000 miles. The technician has never seen that issue. They did replace and fix and so far no problems. The jeep is extremely good on south beach sand and dirt. I use the 4x4 option every weekend and it handles very well. The gas mileage is also very good. I drive 250 miles plus a week on average and fill the tank only once a week. I would recommend this car.

The engine light is always coming on. And gas is expensive. If you're looking for a reliable car this is it. Even though it has its quirks. It will get you through any season. In any weather. It is great for the kids. Or a night out with the girls. I love my jeep.

Jeep with an attitude rawr.
I love the truck and its capabilities but the trans blows. If I go long on an oil change it has given men issues. Otherwise the wild peak tires makes this a monster. I would recom. Mend it to everyone. The sound system is awesome and the screen is a great addition.

2014 jeep Cherokee: better be in it for the long haul.
Not the most reliable car. I have had issues with the electronics. As well as random sensors going. I was in a bad accident where the airbags should have deployed and they did not. The car itself is nice and my interior is great. The gas mileage is nothing to brag about. There is alot of better cars out there on the market.

Great for on and off road adventures.
Slight slip in the clutch when taking off. Other than that small issue, best and most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Does great on highways and high clearance 4x4 roads alike. Gas mileage on the highway can get up to 25 mph and the stereo sounds great as well. Lots of room for luggage and my dog on road trips.

Quite simply, I love my jeep Cherokee!
My 2014 jeep Cherokee Trailhawk has been exceptionally dependable in heavy commuter situations, community/family transportation and on long trips. This car has never needed major repairs and just one minor repair. I do maintain it well (which could be expensive but I purchased a relatively reasonable 10 year maintenance agreement with the car via jeep so that has not been an issue.) The car is a solid, comfortable ride with a good number of power, handling and comfort/entertainment features. Mileage is average and there is quality throughout. I thoroughly enjoy driving this car. My last car was a jeep as well and its dependability over 12 years was quite good.

Strong and steady jeep Cherokee.
In just a few tears I have driven it a ton, over 100,000 miles already. It still holds up really well. Maintenance has not been much of an issue besides the regular wear and tear like oil and brake pads. The technology inside is fun and easy to use. I enjoy my car over others for that alone. There are a lot of features to make it your own.

Great vehicle, but may have some drawbacks depending on your driving style.
The layout and performance of the 2014 jeep Cherokee latitude is exceptional. However, the transmission often times seems buggy. It often kicks into different gears and sometimes lags behind. I noticed when put into reverse is when it seems to kick back the most.

Good vehicle, just a few problems the manufacturer needs to resolve.
The phone part of the radio stopped working and now the whole radio needs to be replaced. Sometimes when starting the vehicle the radio does not come on for a few minutes, so back up camera will not work until the radio starts working. It cost $1,000 to replace, the transmission shifts hard in the first three gears.

Super easy to drive and comfortable to ride in! No complaints but only had for a year. Would be nice to have a backup camera but other than that all the features are great including the four wheel drive and the heated seats! Mine has the tow package and has helped hauled many of things.

Jeep Cherokee is the greatest jeep.
I love how smoothly it drives. Even when taking it off-roading, the pathway is smoother than off-roading in a jeep wrangler. I would highly recommend if you want a vehicle that is classy but with a little bit of adventure to get this vehicle. You will not be disappointed.

My vehicle is white and has a sunroof. It is the best car ever.
I recommend this car. I have never experienced any issues with it and I have had it for about 2 years. It is very easy to drive, the blind spots are not bad, and the seats are comfortable. The trunk is very big and the seats lay down making it even bigger. The speakers are great and the features are very cool.

The jeep is the perfect all round vehicle for all types of consumers.
The 2014 jeep Cherokee is a sturdy, smooth, and reliable vehicle. Can navigate narrow city streets, highways, or back country with ease. Lots of leg room. Can fold down the back seats to create extra storage space. The jeep is very smooth over the highway but you have to be careful and watch your speed as the jeep can quickly accelerate to over 80 mph on the highway. The jeep is a great size. Not a small car but not unwieldy in size either.

It needed a new engine at 40,000 miles. But after getting that fixed, it has been very reliable. It's very comfortable, affordable, good on gas. It is very small, I am unable to fit my entire family, and can only do limited grocery shopping with it. But for a single person or small family, this car is a great choice.

Perfect getaway dad car.
Drives nice and is roomie on the inside. Have had no problems with it but sometimes it picks weird times to change gears on hills. I have 2 kids and we have no problem fitting all the camping gear in the car and drive hours away. Gas mileage stays around 23 mpg which is pretty good for a SUV.

The 2014 Cherokee is really spacious. It drives really smooth and does not feel as top heavy as some of it is other models. Fairly good on gas and is really reliable! The middle seats fold down for even more cargo space. The technology is pretty great also equipped with a touch screen where you can control climate, car settings, media, and radio!

Well Let me tell you My car is a 4 door car and very great on gas. I have had it for two years now and have never had any problems with it. My only problem is the space it is made for 5 passengers only which is perfect for a small family but not the one like mine 3 children my partner and my in-law, so we do run out of space.

The speed of the car is excellent.
My vehicle is a jeep it is nice and big and comfortable. It is a nice color, roomy, great for travel, and has had not had any major problems. The car drives fast, it brakes well, and it fits 5 people. The trunk has a lift button and it is a push start car. The air and heat blow wonderfully.

The transmission is slipping Anderson jerky at times when you come to a stop and start again if you fill it all the way at the gas pump it does not want to stay started. It gets very good gas mileage though. And is pretty reliable. And I love my jeep.

One thing I hate that there isn't a CD player in the car and sometimes my Bluetooth doesn't like to connect. I love the car but my husband hates the car only because he feels like its a female car. It overheats easily which most jeeps do. They are hot cars. It has a moon sunroof, heated and cooling seats, touch screen radio, apple carplay, and heated steering wheel. Great 4 wheel drive, great attention to detail, good gas mileage.
I have loved my experience with my jeep. The attention to detail makes a big difference. Small features like hidden storage under the front passenger seat, the armrest in the middle for rear passage ra, the adjustability of the rear seats, options for the auto start to automatically turn on the heated seats in the winter, all make the difference. The fuel efficiency is pretty good for an SUV though I find in “automatic” mode the engine seems to pick a lethargic gear which is to the drivers disadvantage when pulling into traffic. The 4 wheel drive system feels reliable. During and after several large snow storms last year, after turning on “snow mode” I get very comfortable driving in the untouched snowy streets.

Pros and cons for jeep Cherokee.
I love jeeps as a whole. This is a very popular model. I was looking for a family car that had 4 wheel drive. We live in the mountains and do a lot of camping and hiking. The stereo is nice. Good storage as well. I love the radio set up. There’s many places to plug in chargers. Two USB ports and a regular outlet which is cool. I will say it is a large boat car which is to expect with the storage space but it has a lot of blind spots. The back windows are very small and the bars going down in the front windshield block a lot of vision. Also it is a gas guzzler.

Jeep Cherokee trailhawk is a fantastic SUV option for a small family.
There are issues with the transmission and had radio issues, but it is been in the shop for dealer warranties and the issues have been pretty much taken care of. The car is more than reliable, and is so comfortable to drive. The lane sense technology is incredible and will make it extremely difficult to switch to a new vehicle when the time comes to upgrade to something larger. It is such a fantastic car that we've considered keeping it as a backup vehicle.

Good for commuters - bad for hauling.
Transmission slips out of gear at times - this requires a full cycle (turn off and on) of the car to clear. Shift handle fell apart after 6 months of use. Coolant tank burst 1 week after warranty expired. All in all good car, great on gas - small for home depot runs however.

Great car, reliable, roomy.
This vehicle is pretty good. It is roomy, but not too big- perfect for a person who often has friends in the car, but does not have kids. It has good storage and ample room. However, the electronic system is not great. It has malfunctioned a few times and is not very updated. The car is easy to clean, though, and is a good mix of sleek and sporty on the inside. The gas mileage also is not great but not too bad. The lights are also not automatic, but they are bright and look very nice on the outside. All that being said, this vehicle is pretty reliable and has served me well in the past year I have owned it. I recommend it to anyone.

The computer system is nice
The vehicle does not have much acceleration especially on the highway. The 4 cylinder option do not perform very well and is very sluggish. Also the 9 speed transmission causes it to feel bogged down at times. No pep so to speak. The rest of the vehicle is nice for the package level.

My car is better than yours!
I bought my car used a couple of months ago and it already had a good bit of miles from previous owners so I was a bit concerned but it has had no problems so far. It drives very smooth, it's very comfortable. I live in the middle of Texas and road tripped to Florida with my mom and dad and we all had plenty of room for ourselves and our luggage. I've also taken us to the beach in it along with luggage, an ice chest and our two dogs and we were all very comfortable. I love my car and highly recommend Jeep Grand Cherokees.

I love the fact that it has four wheel drive and has plenty of room.
It is a comfortable drive, roomy, great in the snow and rain and has a good sound system. It comes with satellite navigation. Sirius radio is available. It has 9-1-1 assist. The gas miles are mid range. They are not bad. The only problem is we wish the trunk had touchless opening. Your main driving console is digital, but also still has the standard miles per hour dial. It tells you when your tires are low. If you forget your oil change, it will tell you that it is time. I like the ability to hook my phone up. You can hook it up by cord or use Bluetooth. It will also charge your phone. I am worried about the dial that changes it from standard to four wheel drive. It is electric. It is not a toggle. If my electric system were to go out during a snowstorm, would I still be able to drive the truck, much less use four wheel drive.

It is all a computer basically and the computer in it likes to go out. The jeep is also really loud and sounds like a spaceship. I do however like the heated seats and the heated steering wheel, and how you can plug a charger with block and all in the back.

My 2014 Used Jeep Cherokee
I bought it used at 37.5k miles and the past couple of months I've had electrical issues where it takes multiple tries to turn on my Jeep. Other than that I absolutely love it. The display screen is huge and there's lots of cool features like texting, siri, maps, YELP, etc. I love the comfortable seats and sleek interior design. I don't like how mine is a 9 speed transmission though. It takes a second for the car to gain speed but it's great for commuting.

Autostart by key before entry.
Jeep is equipped with a gas saver that automatically shuts engine off when you're stopped at a traffic light, when traffic flow stops, or at a STOP sign. Car dealer did not explain this performance well & it seemed, when out on the road, engine would die unnecessarily when slowing down or simply applying brakes. Also, engine starts back up when accelerator pedal used but 'jumps' when starting up. We turn the gas saver option off to avoid these occurrences. Otherwise, very happy with Jeep. Gas mileage is as indicated when purchased. Bluetooth for hands free calling, receiving calls is great. Auto start with key is great during extreme weather, whether hot or cold. Enables temperature in car to be comfortable before actually getting in car. Would suggest adding seat & steering wheel warmers. Seats operate separately so each passenger can set, or turn off, as they desire. Air flow for back seat passengers is satisfactory. Fold down back seats allow for larger storage & handle clips are very handy for securing bags. Overall, very content with purchase.

2014 jeep Cherokee latitude review - great vehicle at its price point.
We bought our vehicle used. Previously it was a rental vehicle, but still had low miles. It has performed very well since we purchased. About 2 years ago now. There is not a lot of storage room in the back, unless you shove the back seats forward. With kids in the back this makes it hard to get a good amount of groceries or go on a trip. The seats do fold down so that is helpful when needing to go grab a large item. It drives nice, and the transmission for life means you do not need to get a transmission fluid change.

I love the space the Jeep gives. Do hate that the frame of the back of the Jeep is small and makes it hard to put big objects inside. Love having the 7 inch touch screen with Bluetooth for my phone. Hate that the lights on the parking gear sometimes all light up was told not a problem with system but would cost a lot to fix.

The Jeep Cherokee sport handles great in bad weather.
It's perfect most of the time. However when traveling in the mountains, I wish I had chose the 6 cyl engine. But I do like the mileage from the 4cyl.

A great car to traveling comfortable and try out the features.
Well having a little issue with it, it's not running very well. It is comfortable'. It has a lot of features. Wish had more room in back for big things without laying seats down. I like the screen inside, has a lot features on screen. It's pretty much loaded with features.

Shutting off due to oil life.
I love my vehicle. It has gotten me passed many miles. The thing I dislike most about it; the car will shut off in the process of driving if you do not change the oil out correctly. It is a big safety issue. I can drive one block and the car will shut off in the middle of the road. It only does this when the oil life gets low.

Jeep Cherokee, a good choice.
I highly recommend the jeep Cherokee. This vehicle is very comfortable, reliable, and drives well in poor weather conditions. I have averaged about 28 miles per gallon overall. I have not had any major repair issues and am just shy of 120,000 miles.

Jeeps: worth price, but not perfect.
I consider it a luxury car with the touch screen, navigation, leather seats, heated wheel and seats. However, the transmission has issues switching gears. When I slow down and it hits a certain speed it jerks. Also the wheel bearings are specific and pricey, which tend to swell. The room in the backseat and trunk are adequate.

The jeep Cherokee sport is a very reliable and family friendly vehicle.
The jeep is very reliable. I have had minimal issues with it and I have had it for 4 years now. The only problem I have noticed is that it is a front wheel drive and it can become difficult to use in Michigan's winter weather, but I haven't had any other issues. The information doc is very useful, especially when needing to know if the oil needs to be changed. It is very detailed on the state of your vehicle and it helps to let me know how inflated my tires are. I also appreciate that the doors do not unlock automatically until the two front drivers have opened their doors. This comes in handy when having older children so they cannot exit the car without you.

2014 jeep Cherokee, great car!
I absolutely love my 2014 jeep Cherokee! Very reliable car with many safety and comfort features. Heated seats and steering wheel, automatic mirror dimmer, panoramic sunroof/moonroof, back up camera, heated side mirrors, spare tire, and much more. I have used it to haul my camper and driven it off road as well.

The jeep Cherokee v6 is worth it!
I have had no problems with this vehicle, very reliable. The v6 is the best engine choice, great power. This vehicle rides smooth and gets great gas mileage paired with the 9 speed automatic. Uconnect touch screen is nice and the Bluetooth features are great, my speakers sound aftermarket and will not meet to upgrade.

2014 jeep Cherokee 4wd is a great car.
The vehicle itself is great but it has had some service issues which we're covered under warranty. The issues included a broken transfer case that affected the shifting of gears. It was a fairly major problem but was covered under an extended warranty. I haven't noticed any further issues.

The jeep latitude: awesome.
The vehicle has heated seats and a heated steering wheel. The front windows are automatic, but the rear windows do not roll down all the way. The ride is comfortable and not bumpy (unless the road is!). It has different settings for different weather conditions (snow, automatic, sport, etc).

2014 jeep Cherokee limited cloth heated seats.
Black 4 door 2014 jeep Cherokee limited. It has cloth seats with seat warmers which makes the cold nights in Wisconsin better and it is not leather so you are not burning your butt in the summer. Has Bluetooth so you can connect your phone and play music through your car and even call and talk to people through your car. A good family car for all.

2014 jeep Cherokee sport 4x4 review.
This vehicle is truly reliable. However, it is not spacious, and has little horsepower which can be an issue if you plan on taking this vehicle in the mud or sand. All and all, it is economical and requires very little maintenance. So if you are looking for a affordable and reliable vehicle this is it.

Great in the snow, lacks power in the heat
I have the Cherokee Sport. Since purchasing, the wiring harness for the transmission came loose and the car lost power. It also burns oil. My biggest complaint would be the lack of power especially on hot days. Also the electrical system is not strong enough for the vehicle in my opinion

My car was used, and there are parts that don't work.
I love my vehicle, but sometimes when I step on the gas the car jolts, and it gets annoying when I need to immediately speed up.

Extremely comfortable and smooth ride. Perfect family car. I will continue to buy from jeep in the future although I believe this vehicle will last a long time. I paid a very reasonable price for my Cherokee and believe it was a fair deal. Love I can fit all the kids in it.

I love my jeep Cherokee!
I have never had issues with my vehicle has been with me for a few years and has been a great car. Living in a state with different always changing weather conditions, my jeep is great. My jeep is also really good on gas, I have taken my car on many long road trips and still have it in great condition.

The best car I could ever put my family in.
Jeep is the best vehicle I have ever owned. I would suggest that if you are a first time buyer, buy a jeep. Great on gas. Affordable. Great for kids if you have any. I will not be buying into any other type of vehicle. I am looking into getting a larger jeep. Maybe a grand Cherokee.

Jeep is a very reliable vehicle
Very reliable car. I really love having the 4 wheel drive especially in the snow. Interior is very comfortable, leather seats. The only negative is that it does sometimes sound like a truck. It can be noisy in the backseat.

Jeep Cherokee: a great road trip companion.
I really like my car. It has not had many problems. I wish it had a backup camera, and I had to get one installed. I also wish the side mirrors indicated when someone was in my blind spot. Other than those things, it is a great vehicle. I have taken it on a lot of really long road trips and it is always been comfortable and I have never had to worry about my vehicle on those trips.

Reliable SUV for families
I have had no issues with vehicle other than miscellaneous warranty repairs that are sent through the mail. Good vehicle and reliable. It has enough space for our family to go on vacation and running errands. I would recommend for anyone with a small family.

I am a big fan of the touchscreen radio and utter had great speakers.
Slow pick me up, for a Jeep not the next traction in the snow. I like the amount of amenities it came with for the latitude version. Live the rich screen radio. It gets fired highway head mileage, but city could be a lot better. For the price in paid in felt I could have gotten something better.

2014 jeep Cherokee sport.
I have owned my jeep for almost a year and have had no issues with it. I love how it functions, that is has different modes for snow, mud, etc.. And I love how comfortable it is. I have always enjoyed vehicles with a hatch for the convenience and it is one of the features in a jeep that is never overlooked. Plus, the jeep brand name is a plus!

2014 jeep Cherokee 4dr car.
Great all around vehicle-- good gas mileage from my experience. Around 22 mpg city and up to 28 mpg on the highway if I am really trying for fuel efficiency. Media package is great and works well. Only thing I am worried about--and this comes from doing research--is that the jeep transmissions are notoriously bad. Budgeting for a potential transmission replacement in the future. Current mileage is at 102,000.

It has a nine speed transmission and gets great gas mileage.
It is very sleek looking. It drives nice and has a good amount of power. It is comfortable and quiet. The 4 wheel drive makes it able to go through snow nicely.

My vehicle is a 2014 jeep Cherokee limited, that has a dual sun/moonroof.
My jeep has been great. The only issues I have had with it are normal wear and tear, on tires and brakes. The heated steering wheel and dual sun/moon roof are awesome! I have been pleased with it thus far. It gets good gas mileage for an SUV, and I have had no issues outside normal wear and tear so far.
