2015 Jeep Cherokee Review: A Comfortable SUV With Questionable Reliability

Alex Showalter
Oct 8, 2021

The 2015 Jeep Cherokee is an SUV ranging in price  from $12,146 to $20,227 on the used market; showing that it depreciates rather fast. Four-wheel drive and front-wheel-drive are available on the Cherokee. An optional advanced safety technology package makes this a safe choice.

likeFilled The Good
There is comfortable on-road driving performance. The optional safety technology is better than some of its rivals. It also gets good fuel economy with the four-cylinder engine.
dislikeFilled The Bad
The Cherokee unreliable vehicle because of many mechanical issues. It’s not the safest in the event of an accident. Owners report the infotainment system can be very slow.
checkCircleAlternativeBold The Bottom Line
The Jeep Cherokee misses the mark in a few areas. If you are interested in off-road performance, the Trailhawk is a good choice. If you just need an SUV to commute, there are better options.

2015 Jeep Cherokee: Quick Overview

  • In 2015, the Jeep Cherokee scored below average in reliability. You can find them used starting at $12,146 and going up to $20,227. The most desirable model is the Trailhawk.
  • There are two different engine options for the Cherokee. The base engine is a 2.4L four-cylinder, and the upgraded option is a 3.2L V6.
  • The 2015 Cherokee ties for third place among midsize SUVs for fuel economy with the four-cylinder engine. Most owners prefer the more powerful 3.2L V6.
  • For 2015, there are five different models available. The Cherokee got a four-star overall crash test rating from the NHTSA, but it has good optional safety technology available.
  • Overall, the 2015 Jeep Cherokee is an SUV that wants to be good on and off the road, but struggles to do both. There are reliability issues that lead to them ranking low among the competition.

The best part of the car is reliability.
The car is very easy to drive, although the wheels do tend to slip on the road. This all depends on what wheels you get. The car gets stuck in sand easily. Gas mileage is very good. The car battery is okay, have had troubles only twice. Good for long road trips.

Never had any problems with my vehicle. It's very comfortable, and I'm a quite short but it is still very comfortable to drive in and a lot of the small features makes the driving experience amazing.

The car is really fast and color is black
It's a really fast car and it's in good shape. It has a few car dents but that's an easy fix. The seats are good and you have good tires. The car has tinted Windows and a sunroof. The sunroof is kind of messed up but also can easily get fixed. The car has beautiful rims

Reliable, affordable, spacious and great looking vehicle.
I have not had any problems with my jeep Cherokee. It is a very reliable vehicle. It has plenty of space for 4 dogs and 2 adults. Gas mileage is great it gets around 26 to 27 miles per gallon. I had to complain about anything about my jeep Cherokee it would be I have to use synthetic oil in it. It is a great vehicle.

This is a very reliable vehicle. It is spacious and comfortable. It is not the best in the snow and gets hot in the summer when the vehicle is off.

I love the smooth ride. I love the dependability. I love my backup camera. It's getting to be a little small for our family.

Continously problems
As far as looks and comfort this mid size SUV is great however if you want continously deal with electric problems then this is your SUV. The battery is not able to handle the load for this SUV so every three years expect to replace at 200 hundred a time. Have been battling heat and ac problems from day one.

Cheap but cheaper is not always better.
I just find the vehicle to be underwhelming. For the price it is not horrible but not the best buy. To be quite honest I believe there are better vehicles in the same class and around the same price range that do not appear so flimsy and poorly crafted.

2015 Jeep trail hawk
I purchased this 2015 Jeep in 2014. Biggest mistake ever! I have a pile of service orders from transmission jerking ( never fixed) water pump screaming that could not be found until I videotaped it, paint peeling, several other small complaints and now a massive water leak into my rear hatch compartment. After having it in the service department twice I’m told the WELD that holds my hatch together is cracking and letting the water in!!! I even purchased a $2800 extended wrap around warranty but they are saying it does not cover water leaks. Mind you it’s not a seal that’s broken, it’s the weld that was used to put my car together that is breaking. In other words my car is falling apart! Even though this vehicle is trail rated it has never been off road and has never been in a wreck! Jeep is supposed to call me back tomorrow (24 hours). I can say this is the worst vehicle I’ve ever purchased and I’ve had more than my share!

That it is overpriced and not a smooth ride.
I dislike that it is very bumpy. I dislike that it has a kick back. I like the automatic start. I like the keyless entry.

Never again
I have a 2015 Jeep Cherokee, and for the first 2 years of ownership, the car was serviced 6 times. The shifter has been replaced in 2016, again Oct 2018, an as of last night, a new message to service shiter yet again. I will never buy another Jeep. I gave 1 star because I do like the way it looks, and you're required to guve something.

Faulty monostable gearshift
2015 has a faulty shifter you put it in a gear and it jumps into park. I called Brown Daub and they said there was no recall. I could have gotten in a bad accident if I was driving. I heard there's a lawsuit out. Well I'm joining the list.
accountCircle John F
Not worth it. The car will stall on you while you are driving.
The car does not have a lot of pickup. The headrest is awkwardly positioned where if you want to put your head back, it forced your head into and uncomfortable downward position. The car burns oil too quickly to the point where it stall frequently. You should never waste your money on synthetic as it will not last.

Is the 2015 Jeep Cherokee a Good Used Car?

The 2015 Jeep Cherokee is not the best midsize SUV on the market. It scores near the bottom of the group based on owner reviews. The Cherokee has some features that help it stand out, such as its off-road capabilities. Owners report it has a better interior than other midsize SUVs. Overall, though, this is an SUV that is difficult to recommend based on reliability problems.

How Much is a Used 2015 Jeep Cherokee?

You can find a used 2015 Jeep Cherokee from $12,146 to $20,227. Pricing depends on the vehicle condition, and model you go with. When the Cherokee was new, it had an MSRP of $23,095 to $30,895.

What Problems Does the 2015 Jeep Cherokee have?

There are currently ten recalls on the 2015 Jeep Cherokee. These include problems with the power transfer unit, cruise control system, and the transmission. For these recalls, Jeep has issued campaigns where they will replace the affected parts for free through their dealer network.

One of the most common problems found on the 2015 Jeep Cherokee involves the vehicle leaking oil. Owners have reported that they leak oil from gaskets found throughout the engine compartment. This can be an expensive problem to fix depending on which gasket has failed since labor costs can be high.

Another common problem found on the 2015 Cherokee involves the throttle position sensor failing. This can cause vehicle stalling, and having trouble starting or accelerating. Fortunately, this is a sensor that is not too expensive to replace since it does not require a lot of labor.

What are the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Models?

  • The 2015 Jeep Cherokee Sport is the base model. This comes with manual cloth seats, manual air conditioning, a five-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Bluetooth, and 17-inch steel wheels.
  • A step up is the Latitude, which has everything the Sport offers, but has 17-inch aluminum wheels, and adds a leather-wrapped steering wheel, and automatic air conditioning.
  • Above that is the Latitude Altitude, which offers blacked-out exterior trim to give it a more aggressive appearance.
  • The next model in the lineup is the Limited. It adds heated leather seats, 18-inch polished wheels, a power driver seat, a seven-inch instrument cluster, and an upgraded 8.4-inch touchscreen stereo.
  • For an off-road experience you can go with the Trailhawk. It has added features tailored for off-road driving. The features include a locking rear axle, a new suspension, off-road tires, and black plastic trim to prevent scratches

How Long Will the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Last?

A 2015 Jeep Cherokee can last over 150,000 miles with proper care. We base this estimate on older models that have lasted this long. The Cherokee is not known for reliability, though. You should be prepared for maintenance costs to increase as the vehicle gets more miles on it. According to Repair Pal, you should expect to spend an average of $538 per year on repairs. The most expensive repair reported involves replacing the fuel sending unit and that can cost roughly $1,000.

What Technology Does the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Have?

  • The base 2015 Jeep Cherokee offers a five-inch infotainment screen that has Bluetooth and a standard rearview camera.

  • For safety, there is optional parking assistance, adaptive cruise control, lane departure warnings, and forward-collision warnings.

Does the 2015 Jeep Cherokee have Good Gas Mileage?

Fuel economy is a strong suit for the 2015 Jeep Cherokee. If you go with the 2.4L four-cylinder, it scores third in the lineup for midsize SUVs. It can get up to 22 miles per gallon in the city, and 31 on the highway.

What Engine Options Does The 2015 Jeep Cherokee have?

The 2015 Jeep Cherokee engines include four- and six-cylinder options, both delivering decent fuel efficiency. The 2015 Jeep Cherokee is designed to be a midsize SUV that is good off-road. It is not built for on-road performance or speed. With the V6 engine you can get a 0 to 60 time in the mid seven-second range, which is average for its class.

  • The base engine found in the Jeep Cherokee is a 2.4L four-cylinder with 184 horsepower.
  • There is an optional upgraded engine which is a 3.2L V6 that makes 271 horsepower.

What Colors Does the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Come in?

How Safe is the 2015 Jeep Cherokee?

In 2015, the NHTSA gave the Jeep Cherokee an overall four-star crash test rating. This includes four-star ratings in frontal crash and rollover. It receives a five-star rating on side-crash. The standard rearview camera, optional forward collision warning, and lane departure warning systems help boost the score.

The IIHS gave the Cherokee a “good” rating in all categories aside from “small overlap front driver side” where it scored “marginal”. They did rank the optional safety systems as “superior” though. Overall, the Cherokee is not as safe as some of the competition.

How Big is the 2015 Jeep Cherokee?

A 2015 Jeep Cherokee is slightly smaller than some of the other midsize SUVs on the market. It comes in at 182” long, 73” to 75” wide, and 66” to 68” high. The variability in size depends on the model since the Trailhawk is slightly wider and taller. The Cherokee offers 24.6 cu. ft.  of cargo space with the rear seats up, and 54.9 cu. ft. with them folded down. This is less than a lot of the competition. Owners and passengers report the Cherokee feels a little tight for passenger room as well.

Centered wide dash shot

How Does the 2015 Jeep Cherokee Compare to Other SUVs?

One of the biggest competitors for the 2015 Jeep Cherokee in the off-road market is the Toyota 4Runner. The 4Runner has the disadvantage of being built on a ladder platform so it will not ride as smooth as a Cherokee on the roads. Despite this, the 4Runner is significantly more reliable, and has a more powerful standard engine. The larger engine makes the 4Runner a more compelling SUV.

The Cherokee is also in competition with crossovers like the Nissan Murano for people that do not plan to use it off-road. This is very fair competition, but the Nissan is just slightly better. The Murano has better reliability ratings, and owners report it feels more roomy inside than a Cherokee.

Final Verdict: Do We Recommend the 2015 Jeep Cherokee?

Overall, we do not recommend the 2015 Jeep Cherokee. The Trailhawk trim is a great option if you want an SUV that is good off-road. The upgraded V6 engine offers good power as well, but at the cost of fuel economy. The Cherokee is just not as reliable as the rest of the competition. It also is a vehicle that tries to do too much, leading to it not being the best at anything. These are compelling to Jeep fans, but if you just want a midsize SUV, there are better options.

156,000 miles on our 2015 Jeep Cherokee Latitude 2.4L Front wheel drive
We bought our Cherokee NEW in March of 2015, and it has been fairly reliable. The 2.4 litre engine is noisy, but more than suffient for the front wheel drive model we have. We have had no engine problems. We did have active grille shutter problems, which the dealer eventually remedied before the 60,000 mile mark. We are noticing a significant degredation in the transmission. We have the "infamous" 9 speed automatic. Lags in upshifts, sometime there are high revs during upshift before gear change, and a clunkiness. Additionally, there is a lag between pressing the accelerator and the engagement of the transmission. We have been religious in servicing the car, and it has been mosty reliable, and our driving is primarily rural/light suburban/highway. Chrysler/FIAT/Stellantis made no provisions for servicing the transmission, and there are no service actions FOR the transmission in the recommended prescribed maintenance. I had my mechanic change the transmission fluid (which can be done) at about 145,000 miles. All that said, the car still looks good, the cloth interior has held up nicely, and the infotainment system still works very well. There is a recall for the catalytic converter, of all things, and there is a service bulletin for the transmission. I'll have those done very soon at the dealership. I'd like to get 200,000 out of the car. Overall this has been a decent vehicle for our family.

Jeep Cherokee latitude-worth a look.
The Jeep Cherokee latitude is a good vehicle. Some features include 4 wheel drive, panoramic roof, push button-keyless start, remote start, keyless entry, folding rear seats, fold-down rear drink holder, gas-saving automatic stop when braking (which you can override with a push-button), Bluetooth, front and rear heat and air conditioning, and a rearview camera. Overall, it has been a good vehicle. Some improvements could be made in the seats, especially in the rear. The seats are not designed for optimal comfort, especially for a long trip. The rear seats recline just a bit, but not enough to be comfortable. Improvement could also be made in the battery life. It loses power very quickly. The 2015 model has already had 2 battery replacements. Although the stop when braking feature can be overridden, it is sometimes annoying to have to deal with, especially in the summer when the air conditioning turns off. Also, the rear air could be improved. There is only one small vent on the back of the console and it is not powerful enough. If an adult is sitting in the middle back seat, the air is blocked to the other back passengers. It also blows on the legs and up the skirt or shorts of the middle passenger, which is uncomfortable for them.

Amenities throughout entire vehicle for all passengers to utilize.
Bonus features we love are the heated steering wheel and the heated seats -especially those they included for passengers in the back. We also like the ability to use our cell phone through the car which allows for hands free driving. Excellent winter driving-handles well. Downfalls are maintenance lights continue to go on when no problems exist. For example, check tire pressure, wonder washer fluid low. Also, the front passenger cup holder located on the door is on a slant which does not allow full drinks or still creates high chance of spills.

Smooth ride, comfortable, excellent vehicle for individual or small family
The vehicle rides smooth and handles well. The interior is quiet and, even at high speeds, you can't hear the wind outside. The interior is well made and the seats are incredibly comfortable. It is spacious, but not spacious enough if you have a bigger family. There is a mechanical issue where the car jumps a little when taking off. It is basically a sluggish first gear. I believe they fixed this issue in later models. Overall, the vehicle is well designed, very comfortable, and is one you own for a long time.

Great basic vehicle, not a lot of frills and thrills but gets the job done.
I have the 4 cyl model. It lacks in power. It is very slow to accelerate which is frustrating since I drive a lot. It has a 9-gear shift in it, which is also frustrating because it seems like the car has a hard time deciding which gear to be in. Additionally, it does not get very good gas mileage. I would suggest the 6 cyl model. I will say that the stock speakers actually sound really good. The customer service I have received from jeep has been awesome, I have never had an issue with it.

Great family vehicle. Would recommend.
2015 Jeep Cherokee is great. I have moved from Colorado to Texas and back towing a Uhaul trailer on the way back with no problems whatsoever. I get great gas mileage usually 17 mpg in town and 20+ highway. I have no complaints about this vehicle. It drive great fits my family comfortably, it's very reliable, and we love it. The only thing I could say that's negative about it is that sometimes it takes a few minutes for the screen to turn on. Doesn't happen all the time but it has happened.

It has the most unique storage and has tons of USB ports for charging.
I love the vehicle in general. I love the trim, the conveniences of heated seats, the GPS and the phone app. I enjoy the way it handles on the road and it always reliable. It has every bell and whistle except a sunroof. On the highway it runs beautiful and the cruise control is fantastic. However, It has a problem with shifting. It seems to shift up and down randomly and it is to the point that it feels like it is bucking. A few times like getting whiplash from being hit behind.

It's a good ride and seems safe.
I haven't had any problems with my Jeep. I am not very satisfied with the gas mileage and the legroom is not very good. It rides and drives nice. It is fast and handles well. Would like better mileage, roomier and a sun/moonroof. I would prefer to own a wrangler, but they are way to expensive. I don't think it is as comfortable to drive as it could be. Mine does not have any bells and whistles. I would like a backup camera and a CD player, yes I guess I am old school.

The jeep Cherokee is absolutely amazing. The backup camera is truly unmatched to any other cars I have owned or been in before. The features are amazing and the seats are extremely comfortable. I can fit a lot in my trunk and there is always plenty of space to fit everything I need. The only downside about this car is that there are not motion sensors so if I get too close to an object it will not warn me. But I have not had an issue with this so far.

Review of the 2015 Jeep Cherokee.
I had to take it back to the car dealership twice for two recalls. I had transmission issues and had to have it towed to the dealership for a computer problem. There is a terrible blind spot in the back which can be extremely dangerous if you do not have a passenger checking that side when you change lanes. The comfort ride however is good and I like the look and handling of the car. One other point is the transmission is a little jerky.

Jeep Cherokee gives me a sense of security
I have had no problems to date with my Jeep Cherokee. I love the safety features on the car. Making Lane changes is really safe because if a car is in blind spot and if I put my blinker on, a warning will alert me to the car in the next lane. I love the heated seats and steering wheel in the winter. The heated front windshield melts snow and ice so quickly. Hands free calling and voice commands are another safety feature that I like.

Fine vehicle for budget, but many features could be better.
I love the look of the car. A couple of small issues I have had since purchasing include: the uconnect Bluetooth system is terrible. Lots of delays and disconnections from my phone. It is not a good quality system. The back seat is a little tight if you have small children with bulky car seats. And my transmission system had a recall problem that took about 3 months to have serviced.

This vehicle was has lots of little things that break on it quite often. The emergency break will sometimes randomly come on and sometimes the trunk will not close. Finally got my jeep that I wanted.
It has great pick up. When we get on the highway you have outrun other people. I was rear ended and the jeep handles it well. There was damage to the tailgate, but the cost was long considering. Seats are comfy and they do have adjustments. Our jeep came with a tow hitch. I feel safe in the jeep. It hurts the road and is a smooth ride. We have four wheel drive and living in a state with snow that was a must. The back up camera is great too. It helps when you are in a tight spot. Gas is pretty cheap. Get excellent highway mile and great in the city. One thing that I was a little strange was when the jeep turned off when you come to a complete stop. It is gas saver or something. It is nice that you can turn it off. I love our jeep and we are looking to buy another one.

Although I think I’d rather have the larger grand Cherokee, there is a decent amount of space in this vehicle. My biggest complaint is the lack of pick up, particularly when merging onto highways. Even in sport mode it leaves a lot to be desired.

Jeep Trailhawk: drive assist is wonderful.
I absolutely love my jeep Trailhawk! The comfortability, drive assist, remote car start is truly wonderful. The only thing I would say negative is the jerking that the transmission does and that has been recalled. That issue is due to be fixed very soon.

Great on road and off vehicle.
It is a nice off-road capable vehicle that is still fine spending most of its life on the streets. A great daily driver that can be fun on the weekends. Comfortable on the inside and tough on the outside. Only real concerns is the total number of recalls and fixes it needs.

I can honestly say I will never go back to another car!
This vehicle has been great for me! I upgraded from a sedan because I needed more trunk space for activities that I do. The space that I got with this jeep was amazing with both back seats laid flat! It is quite spacious both front and back seats. It has a backup camera on it but the only thing I wish it had was the sensors that beep when you get close to something behind you. I feel like they missed the mark on putting that option in. Love the racks that the car comes with, makes transporting luggage on top for road trips a lot easier!

That it is very easy to go faster than you think so watch your speed.
I like the Bluetooth. I like the push to start remote. I like the space it has. I do not really dislike anything but maybe the gas.

Far from rugged jeep Cherokee.
The car does not handle well and feels cheap. The tires continue to be a problem. There rear camera is useless. The gas mileage is good. Its roomy and comfortable in the front and back. It's lacking so many options comparable cars have. I wish I had bought something else. I feel it won't hold any value.

An amazing feature of this car is the double sunroof installed.
No performance problems or issues. Amazing reliability and gas mileage. Great family car and has reliable hands free features for call and text to ensure ultimate safety while driving. Has adequate room in the trunk to haul simple necessities for trips, shopping errands, groceries etc.

2015 forest green jeep Cherokee.
The car has been really great as far as performance goes. My biggest complaint is that the back seat is really cramped and our toddler is pretty cramped in the back seat. Drives great, though, and gets great gas mileage! It also drives great in the snow and over rocky terrains.

Reliable and comfortable!
I have had my vehicle for 2 years now and I haven't had any problems or performance issues or worries of reliability. I bought it second hand, as well. The ride itself is smooth and the seats are very comfortable. There is plenty of room in the backseat and the trunk has lots of space. The push-to-start feature is one of my favorites! I love being able to start my car from inside, as well, especially in the cold months.

Jeep Cherokee 2015--for a used vehicle with low miles, has been satisfactory.
I have been satisfied with my jeep Cherokee. It is a 4x4 which I feel safer driving in the Michigan winter months. I have owned gm vehicles in the past and in my opinion the jeep bucket seats interior is inferior in comparison and not very comfortable. However, I bought it used with low mileage. I had to have new brakes at 60,000 miles, and a hose was broken and had to replace the whole air filter box and hose. My engine light still comes on. Diagnosis showed gas cap. I have replaced the gas cap and engine light still comes on. I would not buy another jeep Cherokee and will be selling this one after winter.

Made in America, easily repaired and fairly inexpensive, many uses for a utility vehicle.
Good performance considering available horsepower and fuel consumption. Safe feeling in harsh weather conditions, in rain, wind and snow. High field of view when in traffic.

I enjoy the performance of my 2015 sport jeep Cherokee.
The jeep Cherokee sport trim is a reliable car for the winter season, mudding has a high performance with the jeep Cherokee, but also the speed, is reliable for traveling. The gas per gallon is good for a full-time college student considering the prices on the dollar per gallon.

My jeep Cherokee. The short version.
The car is dependable. It is not 4 wheel drive but it has no problems in tough terrain. The backup sensor is reliable. I havent had any major problems. I have bought new tires and a battery. I drive it everyday. I wish I had GPS but I don't. The color is white.

Good small SUV, very comfortable to drive and ride in.
Very comfortable to drive and ride. Good gas mileage. We had a trailer hitch installed and have no problems towing a light utility trailer. No problems driving in snow. Drove 700 miles in single trip and was very comfortable the whole way. We recommend it as a good small SUV.

Would recommend to a friend!
I really love this car. I have been able to take it on long road trips and it is big enough to have 5 people and still be spacious. I have only had one slight problem with it but it just needed to get a check up. This has been an extremely reliable car and I would purchase it again.
accountCircle Brianne P on April 29, 2021
Incredibly reliable and comfortable.
Hands down the most reliable car I have ever owned. In the 2 years I have owned it, I have never had any issues. Outside of that, the car is incredibly comfortable, even after long road trips. The gas mileage is incredibly impressive; on average, I average about 24 mpg for city driving and about 28 mpg on the highway.

Jeep Cherokee review of air bags.
Air bag indicator keeps alerting something is wrong but when taken to the dealership. Nothing shows up. When driving. The gears shift everything else about the vehicle, I love. The speakers are great, the heated seats are awesome and it is good on gas.

White jeep Cherokee, handy.
The jeep Cherokee is very good on gas, I have taken it to many road trips and still runs like new. Very spacious for any event whether it be hiking, camping, grocery shopping, etc. The steering on it is great and smooth, everyone stares it's a good drive.

2015 jeep Cherokee latitude 4x4.
Only problem that I have with the vehicle is the start/stop indicator light pops on every once in a while. I believe it is associated with the battery. It is a known issue. It does not affect my driving of the vehicle. I have not had any other issues other than normal wear and tear.
accountCircle Megan W on April 13, 2021
Jeeps transmission needs improvement.
The transmission jumps from start between first and second. Several factory recalls throughout the years. Car has stopped running, told me to shift into park and try again. Replacement keys are expensive. But spacious and convenient. Does not come with a spare tire, only an air pump.
accountCircle Karina R on April 13, 2021
Spacious and reliable car.
The jeep Cherokee is a great car. So far the only problem we have had is that the license plate light keeps going off even after repeatedly being changed. Also, the GPS no longer works as well as when we first bought the car. It might need to be updated or there might be a bigger problem. We have to get it checked.

Why I love my jeep Cherokee.
I love my current vehicle, it had never given me any problems. I bought it from my grandparents to help them out. It was a great deal for all of us. I have driven the jeep to a bunch of different states now. With minimal upkeep it had been great to me. I cannot recommend it enough.
accountCircle Nyandeng M on April 10, 2021
I like the fact that it has backup camera so it is helpful that is about it.
Giving problems like engine light, break services, and recently it is saying license plate lights are out. Another shifter service came on last week. I already had the breaks services 3 weeks ago and the tires serviced about 2 months ago the most. Now there is a possibility of beefing new tires because one of the tires air pressure was low.

Jeep Cherokee, beautiful car!
So far, there are no performance issues but I find that the car is not as smooth as I thought it would be. Car is pretty reliable in my opinion. Still is running fairly well although I was involved in a hit and run. Comfort wise, I love it. The heated seats are nice but do not get too hot!

It's practical, it works for everything that I need it to including work and my personal life. I will be able to use it as I have kids, etc.
I like the size, and the ability to fold all the seats down. There's a lot of recalls so that is the only drawback. It has good gas mileage
accountCircle Jhiye L on April 3, 2021
Pretty, sporty, easy driving.
I like the sporty look of it, and so far it has been able to handle the different surfaces that I drive on for work. The interior is very appealing and comfortable, the extra features makes the vehicle. Decent sound system but not insane, nice touch screen monitor and good connectability and sound quality for Bluetooth/calls. The transmission slips between first and second, always has. I hate the auto start/stop as it turns the car off even when not at a full stop and when putting the car into park, then turns it back on again once the car is in park, super annoying.
accountCircle Terrie T on April 2, 2021
It shuts off when idling to save on gas.
I love the heated seats and steering wheel. I like the car design. I like the dash storage compartment and glasses compartment in the ceiling. I like the car turning off to save gas mileage when idling. I don't like that there's not enough leg room in the back seat. I dislike the gas door button being under the driver side armrest on the door and it can't be seen without opening the door. I dislike phone pairing controls being on the back of the steering wheel. I dislike the back seats don't recline more. I had a problem w/ the radio changing channels when i hit a bump &/or turned a corner. It took 3 times taking it back to the dealer to finally get it fixed.

Safe, reliable, and comfortable is what a Jeep is.
I have no problems with my Jeep Cherokee. It drives smoothly and is a beast to be recommend with in the snow. No other SUV out there on the market compares to a Jeep. I find my Jeep to be very reliable and get to where I need to go with no problems at all. It is very comfortable. I have memory seats and adjust to my liking. All the features I added into my package keep me safe on the road at all costs. Jeep is the number vehicle brand on the market.

Better than a hatchback or minivan, but not quite enough SUV.
I enjoy this car for puttering around town with my 5 year old kid in tow. I wish it were bigger. By the time, me, my husband and child are in the car there is not much trunk or car space for much else. Maybe a large suitcase or our dog. It is more like a hatchback car that is pretending to be an SUV. I’d also like the car more if the backup camera and screen didn’t cut out and if you could program in a GPS location outside of doing it on your phone and relying on Bluetooth through your phone to tell you where to go. The interior is fine. Sometimes the car does not feel as stable in strong storms or high winds the way I’d expect a jeep to feel. Overall, a good valued car for local runs. Wish it felt a little more high end or had a few better bells and whistles with more space.

Jeep Cherokee reviews by an average driver. Gets an average rating.
The jeep is the best auto for driving in the snow and rain. It is very comfortable to drive on long trips. I find it is a little noisy on highways but the stereo is very good. I cannot connect with my iPad and iPhone due to the fact that it does not have Bluetooth capability. This is the feature I miss most. The interior is attractive and has held up very well. It is one of the most reliable autos I have owned never a problem starting or running. It is average on gas use.

Sport Jeep latitude is great.
Exterior really caught my eye, mid-size, sleek, roomy enough for 5 plus luggage racks and roomy trunk. Performance is good on highways and very good on gas, 9 speed controls, pickup on highways is fast with quick stopping. Radio and Wifi hookup is simple.

Small but powerful vehicle.
Reliable vehicle. Lots of room. Love the heated seat and steering wheel in a Midwest winter. Nice to have 4x4 in a smaller vehicle. Really helps when traveling to our lake spot. It can get through mud and snow really well. Just does not have a lot of power when accelerating.

Trials of owning a jeep Cherokee.
I love the dashboard and there are lots of outlets. Since I bought it, I feel like the transmission slips, and one time the update did not complete for the dashboard and it cost me 100 bucks to fix it. I feel like I go through tires rather quickly as well, and gas mileage is not great. I get about 20 miles per gallon.

Perfect for our growing family.
I love my jeep Cherokee! Very comfortable driving for long periods of time. Great trunk space and drives great! Lots of bells and whistles that are dependable which I appreciate like back up camera, cruise control, winter package, and touch screen controls. The only thing that might bother some people is that there is not a ton of leg room in the second row. I only have car seat bound kids in the second row so it does not bother us whatsoever.

Jeep Cherokee limited edition.
I love driving a jeep extremely reliable. Have had only minor problems that were able to be fixed in no time and for little or no cost. Extremely comfortable. The heated and cooled seats make terribly hot summers and cold winters more comfortable. The heated steering wheel makes it so much easier to warm your hands up in the winter.

2015 jeep Cherokee review.
The headlight beams are too narrow. The seats are comfortable. The back seats can be lowered to make lots of cargo room and / or sleeping in the car. I love the rearview camera. The camera has a distance measuring device too. I wish it was 4- wheel though.

Great vehicle for driving in bad weather.
This vehicle is the best that I have ever had for driving in snow and ice. It is roomy and comfortable, the only thing is that I wish I had a little more cargo space in the back, otherwise it is a great vehicle. Its comfortable and has a lot of space in the back seat, I can fit three people without being uncomfortable.

Love my jeep Cherokee sport.
I have been driving jeeps for about 15 years and find them very reliable, safe and comfortable. I previously drove a jeep liberty and decided on the jeep Cherokee after the liberty was no longer being made. It holds the road very well, has good get up and go and I haven't had any issues.
