The performance is great. We haven't had any problems with the jeep. It runs great but if it is weighed down it slows down. It is 100% reliable and it fits 5 with a large trunk and it is rather comfortable. It does not have any special features. I however have a problem with no seat warmers but the heat works great so that is a plus.

Perfect college car! Not too small, not too big.
I genuinely like my car! It is a great size, not too small like a compact car but not too big of an SUV. It was perfect for college. The break pads that are currently on it squeak really loudly but that is the only real issue I have had. It gets great mileage and is cheap to fill up. It is very comfortable although the leather does crack over time, but I have had it 7 years and it got me all through college so it is quite durable. It does not have a backup camera in it or a navigation system but that is because it is an older model so I am sure current ones are more updated. It is an overall great vehicle and honestly it is great for a high school grad, I fit almost all my stuff I had to move into my dorm in it so it made for a easy move. Sound system is great and it has heated seats which was a plus for me. Worth the buy!

Jeep compass latitude. Meh.
It does really well in the snow, or any weather honestly. The only issue is the transmission and it does not do the best shifting gears. I have put a lot of money into this car... But I am not sure if it is worth it. I have put 40,000 miles on the car in about 3 or 4 years and the original parts are made cheap.

Keep compass with heated seats.
Very reliable, small gas tank but decent gas mileage, deep navy color, love my heated cloth seats (so I do not burn my legs in the summer), sun roof, high enough off the ground so I can see but not too large for smaller people. Perfect mid size suv, does well on long trips with a lot of trunk space.

Little jeep who could, amazing underestimated jeep.
Gets great gas mileage, cheap to fill up, ac is amazing, drives smooth, tires are good, radio is loud, bass in speakers is amazing. Only takes $20 to fill up and you can go about 300 miles. Hardly ever has any issues. I love my car and it is a great vehicle to drive.

Jeep compass. Good quality.
Minimal power, slow to accelerate. Comfort is just ok. Inexpensive to operate. Not for a family of fouras rear seat would be uncomfortable for teen children. The auto shifting is a good feature since the four cylinder engine does not have much power. I would not buy this vehicle again, although I do like the jeep quality.

Comfortable and dependable.
Needs bi-annual services on the accelerator and no hill-assist so you roll backwards a bit when going up a hill. Other than that, great daily driver! Reliable, compact enough to fit in most spaces, yet provides enough room for the family camping trips!

2013 navy jeep compass 4wd.
I bought my 2013 jeep compass 4wd used at a dealer in 2014 with just 5,000 miles on it. By the looks of it and the paperwork it appears to have been never used. Three months later and the first time I drove it for over an hour it overheated and left me stuck on the side of the highway. When I took it to jeep because of this they told me my computer system in my car needed to be updated. When I purchased the car I was unaware of any computer software that went with the car.. That of course can only be taken care of through jeep. The car occasionally still overheats if you are going more than 60 mph for an extended period of time. I enjoy the spaciousness of the car and the heated seats the most.

Summarizing my vehicle complaints in a short paragraph.
Do not like the way it hesitates as soon as you lift your foot from the gas other than that I pretty much like my car. I just don't live, as soon as you lift your foot from the gas it as if you put it on the brake, when you haven't seems as if everything is delayed on it. You can push the key fob to lock the car and it seems as if it takes a few seconds before it locks just delays.

The heated seats could burn your bottom.
The jeep compass is a great car. It is good on gas mileage. The quality of the seats are good too, very comfy. The seat heater gets really warm often having to turn it off. It is not a manual but even with the standard you can still use a manual. I cannot really say there’s anything wrong with the 2013 jeep a compass.

There is tons of space. No one is uncomfortable.
Sometimes when I start pressing on the gas, my car will lag. Sometimes it seems like is not taking the full correctly. Other than that, I love my car. It is reliable, great gas mileage, and very comfortable. My car is very spacious for all my children and has wonderful cargo space for our road trips.

I like my vehicle mostly because it is was a great deal. I purchased it new used for the less than others got their brand new cars. I LOVE that it came with a back up camera and is larger than a sedan, but not big like a sedan. It is very spacious,, and cute. I do not like that i have had a few mechanical issues and my window will not roll down without getting stuck.
It is truly a great purchase, but you must take care of this care regularly. If not before the schedule maintenance you must keep up with the care of this engine if you want it to last.

Jeeps are great vehicles!
It has good legroom in the front and back seats. Good head room especially for the driver. Lots of storage space. It is good on rough roads. Not too difficult to maintain. It gets average gas mileage, it could be a little better. It is pretty comfortable. A very reliable vehicle. Good braking system. It could have more pick up when the air conditioner is on. Heat and air work great. Overall a really good car.

The right car for families.
My car is easy to drive and park. It looks compact for a jeep but the inside is spacious. I love that the back seats can fold down for more hatch storage. It is been a great car for single child family and a large dog. The interior is comfortable and really easy to keep clean too!

I love that my jeep is manual and not too bulky.
I have had my jeep a little over 3 years now and I cannot say I have had much issues with it. I mean it is great on gas and the only issue I had was my battery dying. My boyfriends a mechanic so it just needed a tune up, a new battery, and started right up. I love my jeep and honestly do not see myself giving it up anytime soon.

It's pretty good. I have had minor issues with the exhaust system but nothing that has stopped it from running. Sometimes I wish the trunk was bigger it does not have as much room as you'd think. It has the clearance of an SUV but inside the space is more like a car.

My jeep is nice and drive very well in bad weather. I love that I can put the seat down to put larger thing in it. I love the color. My car seat have heat warmer for me in the cold. I do not have to get out my house to start car just press the car key. My car save on gas. Jeep compass, perfect midsize vehicle.
The jeep compass has been a really reliable vehicle for me. In the seven years that I have had it I have had zero issues. It is the perfect size vehicle for someone who does not want a giant vehicle but also does not want a car which is why I purchased it. I will say that if you are a family with children the backseat does begin to get cramped quickly. Overall I would recommend this vehicle.

The SUV is very sporty and can ride in any terrain.
Rough ride feels cheap. Tail light design is not sleek. It is very reliable in the snow when 4x4 is engaged. The car has somewhat slow pick up. But it is a very compact car and can fit virtually everywhere I would recommend getting the larger version which is grand Cherokee.

Jeep Compass great for a college kid!
The engine light comes on and off, not sure why. Other than that I've never had an issue. Get an average of around 25 mile per gallon of gas. Starts in -20 degree weather or 100 degree weather.Has 4wd, leather seats, GPS, heated seats, and much more! It's a nice small crossover vehicle! Great for a college kid!

Jeep for all seasons (4 wheel drive )
I really did not have any problems other than maintenance and the recall. I Have 66K miles on it. I used to carry lots of things, groceries, and 4 people plus for 4 days vacation. The only things I miss are there is no Bluetooth and no rear backup camera. Very reliable car that averages 26 mpg. 4 wheel drive exceptional in the winter snow.

2013 jeep compass: good car, but stalling issue.
Over 100,000 miles my car has had very few problems. There was a stalling issue, however my mechanic said that is typical of many jeeps. I do recommend getting vehicle serviced regularly. The pick up is not the best either, but the car is very nice, a lot of trunk space.

Good and bad jeep compass.
We enjoy the vehicle. It does not have the trunk space for adequate family of five travel. Being 6' some of the sight lines are off and I feel a safety issue. The heated seats are awesome and it rides nice. Have had issues with mice able to get through bottom of car and had to put metal mesh to prevent.

The car is robust and compact and can easily drive in many terrains.
It is a dark blue car with ample space. As a former university student, I travelled to and from different locations. It has lots of space in the rear as well as ample leg room. The height of the seats are great, especially if you are a short person. And the car size is perfect. When you need to turn the wheel for a u-turn, it is easy to do. However, if you are going down a curving ramp, be careful because the car can tip easily.

Smaller SUV. Gas mileage isn't great. Slow. Especially slow when the air conditioning is on. It's only front wheel drive so it isn't the best in the snow. A small SUV. Not much room for hauling stuff. Couldn't imagine it towing anything. Ride is smooth. Low maintenance.

My amazing 2013 jeep compass!
My jeep is amazing! Great storage, wonderful in every type of weather. Back seat is roomy enough for my sons car seat and still able to fit 2 in the back. The hatch is great and fits almost anything. Attachments on the roof allow transportation of larger items super easy.

Not A High-Performance Vehicle
It is lightweight, and has decent gas mileage. Unfortunately it has several blind spots due to the frame curving too low in front of the driver's seat. The seats are comfortable, though fitting a car seat in the back center seat is difficult. Putting two car seats in the back would be next to impossible, and it would remove any possibility of using the center seat for a third rear passenger. The car comes with nice features such as heated seats, a powerful AC system, and a radio that supports a Siriusxm subscription. It has very low suspension, so you feel every little bump in the road. Also, the car will overheat and shut down if you go too fast or drive in extremely hot weather. This car is much better for cold climates than hot - it does have four wheel drive which is a must on icy roads and in blizzard conditions. We have driven it from WY to AZ, and it functions much better in the WY roads. As for off-roading, it is not your typical sturdy Jeep. Better to use a wrangler than a compass if you intend to drive on anything worse than a gravel back road.

The car is over all a very nice car.
Its big rides well. As all jeeps has some tire issues but it's cheap to fix. The back seats lay down all the way for easy hauling. There's an aux port and CD player. Heated seats would be nice but at least the seats are not leather. The buttons are pretty big which helps at night.

Jeep compass, a family car.
Transmission failed recently, so we had to replace. I love the room and the ease that it drives. The shocks work well and you can barely notice if you are moving in it because it is so smooth. It is perfect for adding our car seat, and groceries and no one feels cramped. It is been great for road trips and traveling to visit family.

Transmission is not very good.
The transmission overheats if the weather is decently warm out and shuts the whole car off. You then have to wait for it to cool down before being able to drive again. We found this out the hard way on a road trip and got stranded out in the middle of nowhere Utah.

A gas guzzler but a great for moving.
It's a roomy car for its size and great for getting a few things around. Gas is a problem of mine because I live in the city and stopping and accelerating takes a role on gas. My primary use for it was to haul around band equipment around and it did a great job for its size and a great alternative for a truck.

Impressive, smooth and quiet!
My 2013 Jeep compass has been very reliable! Great fuel economy. The cvt transmission is very sensitive to heat so be careful not to speed on hot summer days. The heat and air conditioning works very well. The seats are comfortable. There is a bad blind spot in the rear. It's quiet and rides smooth. The speakers are not the best but they so their job.

I really like my Jeep compass. It is a beautiful, sparkly, sky blue with black interior. I got it used but still looked brand new and hadn't been driven much. There was a recall about a year ago on seatbelts and airbags and they sent me several letters out advising me to get it taken care of at my nearest keep service station. I went, they took care of it, and I didn't have to pay a thing. I live where we have a lot of snow and dirt and mountains so it is great. It has a switch where you can kick it into a high gear 4WD which is very useful! It is also lower to the ground than other Jeep models and the weight is distributed more evenly which makes the roll over risk cut in half which is a number one priority for a mother! I recommend a Jeep to anyone. My sister is thinking about buying one now! I have always wanted a Jeep and now I have one. Plenty of room for a family as well!

2013 jeep compass... Great, reliable vehicle!
My 2013 jeep compass is a great car for the price. Although I have had a couple problems, they were fairly easy and inexpensive to fix, and were problems that could occur with any vehicle. The only problem that bothers me is that my suspension creaks when it is hot outside. I have been told this is common for this make and model and does not cause any issues with the function of the car, so it is more of an annoyance than an issue. However, it is a great size for someone wanting more space than a car, but not as much as an SUV. It also gets great gas mileage for a crossover vehicle!

I love my car and I am a fan of Jeep. I do have one issue though; I bought the car preowned so there's minor problems such as shaking while in reverse, and a random thrust when accelerating. Gas mileage is amazing!! Though I have been having problem with my back brake pedals. I have taken it to many different places to get it fixed and they still squeak. Overall it is a great car and I think everyone should have one. Also the color ranges are great. If you have kids the backseat is not very big and cannot fit car seats very well.

I love the graphite gray color because it is sparkles in the sunlight and I love the sunroof in my car and leather interior. It is a fun car to drive and is good on mileage and easy to handle. It has many of the features I liked and it is just the right size for me.

I really do not have any problems with my car. It does not have much performance. It is very comfortable and it looks good. It is a basic car and does not have a lot of features.

Jeep Compass is the best!!
Jeep Compass is really good for anyone who is looking for medium size SUV. Leather seat is recommended. The touch screen radio is on the point. The only issue I been having is when you have AC on, it makes rattle noise. Gas mileage is a killer but that is normal for Jeep anyways.

Jeep compass: car for safety, snow and comfort.
Thankfully in the two years I have owned this Jeep, I haven't had many mechanical issues, which was a relief. I had heard sometimes there are plenty of issues with these cars. I love the way it drives, a necessity with snow in ne, and I love how safe I feel driving it.

Great starter car - but could be updated.
My car was a great starter car. I learned how to drive in it, and enjoyed being able to drive in it, but it is used and abused now. It did not have any navigational features or the stereo was not great. We ended up putting in an apple car play system, which helped a lot. Most newer cars have these features in them. It is a great size, however, especially if you are doing city driving!

I like the size and Bluetooth ability I do not like the color or the leather seats. I wish the seats had more room in the trunk was bigger.

Great storage on the top and inside.
I have not had any major problems with the vehicle yet, just normal daily car washes and oil changes.

It does not have an interesting detail.
I do not know what my cars problems are it does not have any performance any reliability comfort features. It is just a plain car that does not have a lot of options. It is very reliable and it gets good gas mileage it also has a color that makes it stand out from the crowd.

Jeep compass satisfies. This is an easy handling SUV; is very roomy, comfortable.
My compass is roomy and gives a comfortable ride. You can switch to straight drive if you like. The rear seats fold down to give more cargo room. It has CD player (6-discs), ac, electric operable side windows, Audio jack, sport wheels. The only "problem" I have noticed is the ability to accelerate when merging onto an interstate.

The acceleration is not great. Do not purchase this if you want to speed vehicle.
The acceleration is very slow, regarding of the pressure applied to the gas pedal. The vehicle does not have great gas mileage. The Bluetooth connectivity is not consistent. The ability to put down the second row seats is great to increase trunk space though.

May look small but it's spacious and packed with a whole lot of features!
The 2013 Jeep Compass Sport is a spacious comfortable SUV without the size of a huge large body vehicle. It's a very reliable vehicle has many features including A/C, heated mirrors for the winter, Aux plug, A/C vents that can be completely closed and opened. Everything in the vehicle is adjusted to your comfort even the center console which you can push forward as an armrest or back to act as a normal center console. I must say I love my Jeep Compass & would recommend one to anyone.

2013 Jeep Compass Interesting Details
My 2013 Jeep Compass is a very reliable car. It gets me where I want to go and as of now, has no mechanical problems. I drive it to work and school. It runs smooth and has no rust. It can hold up to five passengers and has a hatchback trunk. It is all wheel drive and it rides very well in the snow.

I love the way my automobile rides on hilly roads and rough terrain.
Overall I really love my automobile because of its reliability and durability. I do not have any major problems with my automobile. The paint in the automobile can be replaced if needed be, although the interior is fairly good shape. Very comfortably seats in the automobile.

Throttle body issues with 2013 jeep compass.
Had to replace throttle body twice vehicle only has 80,000 miles on it, once around 40,000 miles and the second replacement was recently, the remote start is nice I like that feature for those cold winter days. Gas mileage is not that great for a 4 cylinder engine.

No storage Jeep Compass..
Just recently the radio has died and the pistons on the truck gave out. We also don't have 4 wheel drive so we slide all over the place. The inside is also small so you cannot fit much in the trunk.

It is not worth the money.
My tire pressure alert keeps coming on. There was a leak in the moon roof. And not easy to set up Bluetooth.

2013 jeep compass misses the mark with no power.
The jeep compass is very roomy and drives like a car. With it being four cylinders its gutless going up any hill. I did have an issue when I was 2k miles out of warranty the throttle started sticking while driving and put me in a very danger. The dealership took 2 tries to fix. I am a little reluctant to take it far from home.
