While driving the dash board lit up like a Christmas tree and the jeep slowed down to 35 MPH, wide open, it showed brake problems as well as transmission and engine problems, the dealer had it for a week and called it repaired, one day later it was down again!!! 30000 miles on the Jeep!!

Great first buy starter car.
The vehicle has been a good car to drive for the 2+ years I have had. Good on gas mileage, incredibly comfortable for a someone without a family, extra back space, and reliable. Even with the 2wd, it still can drive in the snow pretty well and do not ever have to hesitate that the car will slip or slide. One thing I do get annoyed by is the faulty tires and the pricey maintenance from the dealership that does not offer appointment slots for regular maintenance.

Love my 2018 jeep compass.
This vehicle handles well on the road. It is added features such as heated seat and steering wheel and backup camera are a definite plus! It has a lot of extra space in the back which is a plus for a wheelchair and groceries. It has room to spare in the back seating area.

Love it! Just a couple minor drawbacks.
Burns oil so you really have to make sure you check it weekly. Great on gas, but the problem is that there's a small tank so you have to fill up more often than I would like. Super comfortable interior, even in the backseat despite its small size. Love the look of it, better than other similarly - priced SUVs.

Keeping you safe in a turnover!
I bought my first jeep in 2017. Had it for about a year and ended up totaling it (not my fault). In this wreck, I turned over three times and ended up in a ditch. My jeep held up and I was able to walk away with minor injuries. The roof didn't cave, windshield shattered but stayed intact, and the airbags kept me from hitting my head. I will always own a jeep.

Amazing car just needs some better technology.
This is the best car I drove reliable and nice smooth ride. But it can use up a lot of gas. The lane control can be difficult as it can give whiplash. Good car but difficulty with some of the accessibility pieces to the car. I would tell others to buy this same car, due to the sports like riding and sporty look.

College student perfect car.
I absolutely love my jeep compass sport. It is perfect for me as a college student and it excellent on gas. I usually spend about $20 on gas to fill it up and get around 29 miles per gallon. It is not too big or too small. It is the perfect size for everything I need to fit in it and is very smooth and comfy to ride in.

Small basic SUV with several problems.
It is a small SUV, might as well just got a car, the trunk is a nice size though, a slow pick up when mashing on the gas, had electrical problems, easy to get fixed, cheap car, I do not like that it does not tell you when you need an oil change, tire pressure light always comes on, great on gas though.

The jeep compass is comfortable, easy to drive, and maneuver. I live the heated seats and steering wheel. The dual control is wonderful for spouses who disagree on heat/air conditioning. I feel safe driving on winter roads with different options for road conditions at the push of a button. We have taken my vehicle in the mountains on gravel roads, steep inclines, and snow packed roads. It rides smoothly and has the power it needs to get the job done.

Heated steering wheel and remote start.
This car is extremely reliable, I have had no issues with it thus far. It performs pretty well especially in the snow and rain. The back seats have plenty of room as well as the driver and passenger seats. It is also great having a heated steering wheel, heated seats, and remote start for the winter.

The jeep compass is amazing!
The vehicle rides very nicely, heated seats, heated steering wheel make it very comfortable in the winter. There are options beyond 4 wheel drive that include driving in mud! There are many options when adjusting the seat as well. Plenty of legroom in the front and in the back. Interior lighting is very functional.

Jeep compass is good but electronics are starting to bug out.
I love the Bluetooth capabilities of my cars. The electronics have started to get all funky after 2 years, like the backup cam, which I also love, but sometimes doesn't function properly. The lumbar support is great. The gas mileage is also good for a SUV.

Best road trip vehicle around!
I absolutely love this car, it is super comfortable and great for road trips. I drive back and forth on the daily visiting my mom and it is always a smooth ride. It has heated seats and a heated steering wheel, along with Bluetooth and a GPS. I have had this vehicle for almost a year now and I have never had a problem with it. The gas mileage is also a major plus, I usually fill up every 2 weeks or more depending on if I leave the state or not. I have two dogs and the leather seats allow for easy fur clean up, plus the seats let down so I do not have to worry about them scratching or ruining my seats. If anyone loves the jeep, the jeep compass limited is the one to go with.

Black compass likes driving on the highway. And does it very well! Nice ride!
I bought my compass new but it was a holdover from the previous year. I had a few instances of the screen going dark while I was driving. Kinda startling! If I stopped and turned it off it seemed okay when restarted. The service department said maybe something loose. The door covering the gas tank slid off once. I took it to the service department for someone to slide back on. I like my compass.

2018 jeep compass all in all great SUV.
All in all the 2018 jeep compass is great for a small family. But after having it for 2 years we definitely need something bigger. Also the touch screen radio glitches a lot. Gas mileage is okay, for the small 13 gallon tank. It does great in snow and wet roads.

The compass is a great SUV, terrible pickup when you need to enter a highway but for a daily driver it is a fun ride. I have the panoramic sunroof, love this feature. I drive with it open a lot. There is an issue with the transmission. I have brought it in multiple times.

Comfortable, but eats oil.
Comfortable to drive, but could be more economical for a 4 cyl. Lacks power, but does better after you hit 40mph. Eats oil. I was unaware of this at the time of purchase, so I was very confused when my shut off while driving it. Auto start/stop is annoying, but I keep it off. Overall, it is the family car and my commuter. It is comfortable and sporty and my son’s car seat fits well in the back seat.

Fantastic on mountain terrain.
This car works wonderfully in all types of terrain. I took it up to the mountains in Colorado and was able to ride over big rocks on a dirt road. Of course I was feeling nervous that it wouldn’t make it, but it did. I enjoy the feeling of driving it. It is very comfortable and quiet and very smooth. I also enjoy the engine stop system when you stop at a red light the engine turns off quickly to save gas then turns back on right away when you release the brake pedal. It is nice that is does not use a lot of gas either.

Some computer/sensor issues. Love the panoramic sunroof and spacious interior. Really like driving it. I do not use all of the features to their maximum ability, mainly use Bluetooth for music. I lease and would buy it, but I really would like a wrangler as my next vehicle.

Jeep compass 2018 = stress.
Constantly in the shop. Check engine light, battery light and auto on/off light constantly going off. Been in the shop 4 times in 2.5 months. Then three days later exact issue comes right back. Getting very old and very discouraging that I still have 6 years left on this vehicle.

Fine to lease not to own.
The paint scratches easily, slow acceleration and a side of the door fell off with minimal wear and tear. I take care of my car and considered leasing to buy, but have opted out due to the durability. It is nice for a lease, too much maintenance to own.

I have owned a jeep Cherokee, a jeep wrangler and now a jeep compass. I am a jeep girl until the end. I was drawn to the compass for its sleek style and functionality. Almost 3 years later—I still am very pleased with this vehicle. The only downside I have found is that it is a bit small and I could use some extra space.

My sport jeep compass is the cutest, while also being super sporty SUV.
The jeep compass so far has been the best car I have ever owned. It has a fantastic sound system throughout the car, and the most comfortable cloth seats. The car also has such a super smooth ride and feels like you are flying. This car truly makes you feel extremely safe while traveling in it. The only issue is how much I have to get gas to fill up the jeep. But other than that it is a perfect safe compact SUV!

Great compact family vehicle.
Great comfort with the seats where you do not shift too much when you turn or need to move out of the way quickly. It came with a great navigation and music system. It rides well with a great suspension as well. I love the choice of colors that this vehicle comes in and the types of upgrades you can get with the jeep compass.

Good car but has what can be considered a major problem for some.
The jeep compass has a known oil issue. The oil burns hot so you have to make sure there is enough oil in the vehicle or it can just stop running. And there is no oil indicator light that tells you that the oil is low making it harder to know where your oil level is at. Other than that it is a good vehicle, does well in snowy conditions.

Problem vehicle
I have a 2018 Compass Trailhawk. I bought it with 4k and now have 40k. I hate this vehicle. I have had nothing but problems. Brakes, electrical system and now the AC went out. Needed four new tires, too. It has NO pick up at all and is sluggish at times. I never take a chance on crossing over lanes of road. I'd never make it and get hit if a car is too close! Cannot wait to get rid of it!

My car became off balanced very quickly so while going above the speed 40 mph my car shakes really bad. Going below 40 mph the car ride is pretty smooth. The inside of the vehicle is very roomy and seats are comfortable! On the flip side I love my beats audio system, heated seats/steering wheel, and remote start!

Leather interior for easy cleanup. Lots of space with little blind spots.
The only problem I have had is that the touch screen sometimes goes a little crazy. It will get lines in it and not respond to anything you are trying to do or see. Or sometimes it will lag when trying to use the backup camera. Other than that I love the car.

My jeep compass gets horrible gas mileage. It has to have an oil change constantly and it is really small. It does drive well on the highway but in the town it is a little rough. The automatic shutoff that the vehicle has is really annoying. You do have the option to turn it off though.

The most interesting part of my car is that there is a brake assist.
Very comfortable and includes high tech things. It has apple play and is easy to use navigation on my phone to project it to the apple play. There are seat warmers and a steering wheel heater which is perfect for when it gets cold. There’s a backup camera which is very useful. I also have brake assist in case I do not break when I need to, the car does it automatically. It is a very reliable car.

Jeep compass overall review.
Auto-start is clunky and screen malfunctioned one time. There is not a ton of pick up but does well in all weather. Love the heated seats and steering wheel and weathertech mats are a huge bonus. Army green color is my absolute favorite, does not show any dirt or scratches and looks good in all lighting.

4 wheel drive option is always a must for me which it provides with easy handling and ride.. It also has various options at a cheaper price level such as full retracting moon roof, leather heated seats, and touch screen navigation. It also comes with a good amount of storage for its size.

Nice mom car, but not very fancy interior for my taste.
I purchased my vehicle from enterprise (partially used, only for rental purposes). I have had one particular issue two times now (it was randomly going dead in my driveway) but after figuring out the issue was that the muffler didn't have a hole in it for water to escape, the issue has not yet returned. I am not 100% happy with the interior of this vehicle, perhaps because I have one that super generic and not at all upgraded. Overall this vehicle does it is job.

Fun car for commute of distance driving.
I love my compass. Had some issues with battery at first but they replaced it (free) no more issues. Headrest is awkward angle for me so I take it off sometimes but other than that super comfortable good gas mileage. Fun car to get around town in or for long trips like taking my child back and forth to university five hours away.

I love this car more than anything in the whole wide world. Heated seats, heated steering wheel, backup camera. I truly love my car. I can remote start it on cold morning s and along with the heat, the heated seats and heated steering wheel also come on. My car is never cold in the mornings anymore. The seats are so comfortable. I never get sore while I am driving. The seats. Curl upwards at the end and it is just really. Great. Sometimes I do wish the car was faster. It only has a 4 cylinder engine. But it is ok that is the least of my worries if that is my only complaint. The car is truly the perfect size for me too. It is big, it is an SUV, but it is also still smaller and I think it is really just the perfect size. I really. Do not have a single complaint about this car.

I like the car I just been having a lot of trouble with my tires more often than I should. It seems like every few days the air is out of one of the tires, and I have to get them replaced. Hopefully after this last time it will be okay because it's getting annoying.

I love the apple CarPlay option featured in my car.
I absolutely love my jeep. It drives very smoothly and has the power to tell you if you are out of the lane and moving the car back into the lane. I love the backup camera, it has made parallel parking 10x easier. The car alerts you if you are getting too close to an object in front or in back of you.

Happy to find a vehicle that still comes in a manual transmission. Fun to drive.
I recently bought this vehicle and have only had it for 3 days. It drives really well though, more like a car than a truck. I also like that it has a manual transmission. There is not as much cargo space as I was hoping, but both of my children say they have plenty of room in the back seat. They like the extra USB port available to them in the back seat. Overall I have been happy with my purchase of this vehicle.

2018 jeep compass and key features.
I have no had any issues with my 2018 jeep compass. It drives very smoothly and easy to work. It has 4wd, push start (instead of inserting key). It also has the auto stop-start which I am not a fan of but you are able to turn it off by pressing a button near your cup holder. I love this car!

My jeep is great and I do love it but the ride really is not that smooth and there is always a problem. My last jeep would shake if I got over 65 miles per hour and raddled. The new one so far has not done that so that is good but still not the smoothest ride.

None really. I love everything about. Size is great, comfort is great and is comfortable and roomy for kids. Storage is good for a small family for sports as well as vacations and traveling. The addition of Sirius radio is a definite plus. I just like everything in general about the car. Gas mileage is another great thing. I do not have to worry about filling up all the time. Vacation traveling was great when it came to gas.

I love my jeep compass! It runs very smooth and has many great features. It comes with the winter package which includes heated seats and a heated steering wheel! It has a touch screen radio with CarPlay that connects to your phone. I always connect my phone to listen to my music or podcasts on the go. There are also plenty of cup holders to store your drinks. The backup camera is also great because it allows me to see completely behind my car before backing up. There is an auto shut-off feature to save gas and it is slightly annoying because you have to turn it off every time you get it your car if you do not want it on. I feel like the auto shut off may be bad for you starter if your in town and only stopping for seconds at a time. However, overall my jeep compass is great and does well in 4wd when the roads are muddy.

Fun little Jeep, but there's better out there.
It has a great sound system and satellite radio helps that a lot. It has great options for snow mud or sand, but living in Florida doesn't call for much. My biggest problem comes from the engine. It has a start and stop system that only seems to waste gas turning the engine off and on when you start and stop, once the car hits the inside temperature you want. So everytime I get in the vehicle I have to turn that function off with a button by the shifter, there's no setting in the car to disable it and that's really annoying. My other main issue is that for a 4 cylinder it is terrible on gas, my 6 cylinder charger got better mpgs.

The luxurious 2018 jeep compass latitude.
I love my car! It has a heated steering wheel, heated seats, panoramic sunroof, and an auto start. The only downside for me is that my model is front wheel drive. There are models that are four wheel drive. You get what you pay for though. Also, it has Bluetooth, touch screen display, and a beats by dre speaker system. Obsessed with my Compass!
I live out near the snow belt so this Jeep Compass is a beast. It's good during icy conditions and bad weather. You always feel safe. It's an easy car to use and not overly big- but you can fit a lot in it. If you need to go off the road and into the grass this car is built for it. Perfect car for women and young drivers.

This is the best car I have ever had.
I love my car! My make and model is astonishingly nice and my car also came with the winter package so my car has heated seat, heated steering wheel and defrost on the back glass, which is nice. My car is also a 4x4. Performance is 8/10, the car sometimes knocks when I go too fast or step on the gas. The reliability is 10/10.

Great handling, great in the snow, good on gas. Needs better acceleration. Comfortable seating. Needs bigger backseat. Plenty of headroom. Easy to connect Bluetooth. Needs brighter headlights. Hard to find aftermarket accessories as have to get from factory. Heats up fast for heat in winter.

I have been a jeep owner for years. When I downsized from my jeep grand cherokee I went to compass. It is a little smaller, but it is great on gas, looks and it is a great SUV
Looks great and mileage is excellent. There is enough room to sit comfortably

I like the spoiler in back. And 4wd is the best.
I ac stopped working twice in the summer. Does not have enough storage in console. There needs to be room for sunglasses, phone. Glove box should. Lock. Transmission is lagging and pinging. The compass stopped running. One day when I was driving they said it needed a computer update.

Of all the cars I have had since high school my jeep compass is my favorite.
I recently traveled 6 hrs in my jeep and it only used 1/2 gallon of gas. Great car, comfortable,easy to drive and a nice looking car. I wish they can make more colors in my jeep compass. It is very reliable, again great on gas if your traveling long distance. Short distances it is ok. Love the radio and speakers in my compass.

We love the three piece hardtop we can remove - it is a lot of fun!
Jeep has been a fun and different vehicle for our family - our son purchased one and after we rode in it - we loved it!

Perfect compact SUV for the city lover!
I love this SUV! It is compact and perfect for city life but still does everything an SUV needs too. It's comfortable and stylish. Amazingly great value! I am so glad I bought one. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a smaller SUV! It is worth every penny!

I can carry my dog carriers & I have two kids one of them is very big.
I, just love it it's a car & SUV all in one it's also very sporty. I use to drive a sports car and I came to my senses that I need something that I could carry everything. I recently move & my compass came in as a great help, l loaded it up with many things that the movers could not take. It was a great help moving things in it.

Get size for someone my age, easy to drive and park.
I love my car had it for almost a year now haven't had any major problems with it. Gets great gas mileage compared to my old car. The technology in it is amazing and quick to connect to my phone. Has 4 wheel drive but haven't had to use it yet. Only thing missing is a sunroof.

Honest 2018 jeep compass Trailhawk review.
I love the comfortable and spacious size of this vehicle. It drives so smoothly, and yet it is big enough for my son (4) and I, along with 2 of his friends and one of my friends in the passenger seat. The interior is a mix of leather and fabric, which is perfect because spills are easily cleaned. The only thing that I have a complaint about would be the gas, and the trunk is not the biggest, but it still gets the job done. I would say, a solid 8/10!

Wishing it had more space.
Needs more storage space in the truck for groceries and stroller. We have two children in car seats that take up the entire back row and they are young enough to need a stroller in stores making grocery shopping difficult with lack of room to put food and stroller without crushing items.

Overall I enjoy driving this vehicle and love the sleek design.
I truly enjoy riding my jeep compass! It is drives very smoothly for a 4x4 and drives great in snowy conditions and deep snow. The standard auto start feature is a bonus that I didn't expect to enjoy as much as I do. I also enjoy the lane sense feature. It makes it difficult to go over the line and possibly cause an accident. It also breaks for you to avoid an accident if the car in front of you gets too close. This feature actually shocked me one day because I wasn't expecting my car to just stop but it clearly avoided an accident that was about to happen. The car in front of the car in front of me happened to stop short to avoid hitting a deer. I love the automatic seats. Some other standard features are the heated seats and heated steering wheel which I am starting to enjoy in the cold weather. It definitely comes in handy and heats you and your passenger up very quickly. Although the heating and air conditioning system works very fast to heat and cool the car. I do wish there were vents for the back passengers also. One more thing that I would add to the wish list is the passenger seat to adjust and go lower I feel it is too high that my head is too close to the roof of the car even at the lowest setting. Overall I am happy with the vehicle and it is performance.

Fun, reliable and attractive vehicle.
Love all the features of the car. Heated seats and steering wheel. It also has lights that turn on when you start turning so that you have more lights around the car. It is pretty comfortable and I have driven it from Ohio to Georgia a couple times. Always reminds me that it is time for an oil change. The only thing that bothers me is the fact that the seat is already ripping and wearing out.

Good gas mileage on an SUV.
The jeep compass gets really good gas mileage for an SUV. It has several different four wheel drive modes that come in handy in the winter. I did have a sway bar that broke before 25,000 miles which makes me question the durability of the vehicle. The vehicle has Bluetooth features that are nice but does not have a CD player.

2018 Jeep compass. Start with a button, remote start, good traction.
My vehicle drives very good, uses very little gas, very comfortable to drive in it has plenty of room for long legs, a lot of room to put groceries in. I haven't found any problems with the vehicle. It has a remote start which start from a long distance.

A great, affordable midsize car with lots of room and very easy to drive.
Troubles include alignment issues, slow acceleration, hard to keep clean, and a small gas tank. Pros are the car is easy to drive, stylish, roomy, gets good gas mileage, and has lots of space. Overall a very good and reliable car that is cute and easy to drive.

The screen is big and makes it feel like a luxury vehicle.
Really reliable, has lumbar support, looks and feels classy. The leather interior has it at a whole new level of comfort and looks. It creates a great vibe feeling. It is like a mini grand Cherokee, but with better gas mileage. The drive is really smooth and quiet. It has a genuine jeep feeling, but in style.

Heated steering wheel is my favorite feature.
The car’s features are very nice. Heated seats and steering wheel are very nice. Automatic start and auto windshield wipers. Does not have sunroof but otherwise great car. 4 wheel drive for the winter has been helpful. The back seat is roomie for my passengers.

Jeep compass is a good vehicle if you have pets and kids! Big enough!
It is really nice and spacious, fits my great Dane that weighs 178 pounds! It drives smooth and it is very reliable. I drive it everywhere, I drove it from South Dakota to Orlando Florida without any problems! Very good car, great for travel, good space.

Jeep compass review - overall happy with performance but next car. More power.
Wish I had a car with more power. I like the size of the care living in the suburbs and having to travel for work. Gives extra space but is not a beast for on street parking. Haven't had any major issues with the car but it is only two years old at this point.

It's a good vehicle with few issues.
I like everything but the middle console because of the way it slides back and forth it can be very annoying. I also like the size it is not too small or too big. If I had to buy again I would get the top package with sunroof and tow package. It is a very reliable vehicle.

The sunroof is the best feature.
My car is very comfortable to drive. The seats are the right height and the steering wheel feels awesome. I have plenty of room to transport groceries and other items. I can comfortably have 4 passengers and myself. I haven't had any issues with my vehicle. I take it in for oil changes and tire rotations on a regular basis. I love the sunroof. It is nice to hand sun coming through or to open it and feel the wind.

Love the four wheel drive.
Love my jeep compass but it is a very basic car and it is gas mileage is not that great. But other than that it is the perfect car it is not a huge SUV but it is big enough for what I need. This car is great in the snow with the four wheel drive. Rides very smooth and I have never had any mechanical issues with it.

Heated steering wheel?!?!
It feels really luxurious for a car in its price range. I knew that I wanted to get it as soon as I sat in the driver's seat. It has a lot of little features that make life so much simpler, such as a heated steering wheel and specific controls to turn on the fans pointed at the front windshield, which makes driving in the winter a lot easier.

Great car for a student who likes to go on adventures.
This car is great for cruising with friends however it is a little small when it comes to the trunk. It gets great mileage on gas and runs smoothly. This car takes synthetic oil changes which makes it kind of pricey at every oil change, also this car does not offer much room when and if you need to sleep in your car. Back seats do not fold down all of the way.

I like the sporty look of the vehicle. My favorite is the look of the front grill. I do not like how it takes synthetic oil and I have had some features that needed to be fixed/updated within 2 years of having the vehicle.

It is excellent in the snow.
I have had no problems other than sometimes the electrical in the dashboard does strange things. The whole interface sometimes appears different than when I set it up. Also, the ac is not as cold as I’d like for it to be. Sometimes in the summer, I'll turn on the car and the heat randomly comes on.
