04 Jeep Liberty, my favorite car.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

I bought a used 2004 Jeep Liberty approx 6 months ago. It drives really well for a used car of this age. There was a recall for rear suspensions and the hitch but my local Jeep dealership got everything fixed free of charge, same day. I have a few things I've had to fix since getting the car, just normal things that needs replacement every so often on cars(signal light, brakes and rotors). The only other issue I have had is that my passenger window broke, a piece near the window motor broke but it was an easy, inexpensive fix. Interior still looks like new. I am very pleased with my car and plan on keeping it as long as I can.

2004 liberty transmission beware!

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

I love my sunroof. I like that I am higher than other cars. I like c4 wheel drive. I find it is very comfortable to drive and also easy to park. I do not like that I have had to replace the transmission 2 times in this car. One time was covered under warranty. It was quite expensive and I only have 84000 miles on my car. The rear window defroster detector fell off, so I have no defroster in the rear. To expensive to have glued and reattached. I have a nice radio but my CD changer stopped working years ago, so I only have radio. The seats are comfortable. Dash panel is easy to read.

4wd, sporty looking, nice family vehicle.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

I love how it looks. Blue sporty nice looking in my opinion. I like how everything's electric, just easier. How it has 2wd 4wd that really comes in handy. Also it goes pretty good you don't even notice you're going 60 mph. I like how I can fit myself and my children's father up front. And the kids easily in the back, then have a good amount of room left over for groceries or anything else you need to buy. Also has a cover in back to pull over groceries so they don't get wet I'm guessing. I like it a lot.

Perfect little chick's car

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

I'm pretty conflicted with my jeep. I mean I absolutely love it it's small but not too small it's fast. I could be doing 70 mph and not even know it because it doesn't feel like it. It's a perfect little first car for a high school girl I feel like. It's got a 6 disc player, am, FM, radio. It takes me about 35 dollars to fill up the tank. Now on the downside I am starting to notice what seems like some wiring issues or problems with the brain. It is a lot to maintain at times.

Good reliable vehicle to start with.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

My vehicle, all around, is very reliable. It is nice for commute or if you are loading the dogs or family up for a nice hike! It is very comfortable and includes heated front seats and automatic side mirrors and rear view mirror. The biggest complaint I have is the location of the window buttons, they're not located on the side panels but actually in the middle. It can get confusing when trying to roll down the windows, as they're not in a convenient location.

- Breanna B

I can't complain too much about the car, I've had a lot of good times with it.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

I really like the height the car gives me on the road, since I am a short person. The driver's seat is kind of a booster seat which helps me see over the steering wheel. I also like the space I have in the car; I can fit so much stuff in it when I'm moving and I can fit big furniture in my jeep as well by putting the seats down. I've had a few mechanical problems with my car but nothing that wasn't able to be fixed by my mechanic. I can't complain too much.

Reliable and comfortable SUV.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

The interior fan does not work unless on the highest setting. The truck had a transmission issue that was resolved with a fluid/filter change. None of the tire pressure sensors are inaccurate. Very comfortable and has a lot a leg room. The four wheel drive is very useful. The power steering line has air trapped in it so you have to allow the vehicle to warm up or it makes a terrible whining noise when you turn the wheel.

These vehicles are used by highway patrol officers,

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

The. 2004 Jeep liberty sport model. Drives really nice, but in my opinion has too many recalls in the rear. I love to open the sunroof and the windows during the summertime and head towards the beach. This model vehicle is also driven in California by highway patrol officers. It's very easy to spot and the kids like it too. At first Glance it looks like it's 4 Wheel Drive because it's a Jeep, but it's only 4 Cylin

The jeep liberty has been reliable so far.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

I'm paying too much for the vehicle. I have spent at least a thousand dollars on minor repairs and maintenance. On this specific vehicle the struts aren't well made, when it is cold the struts make noises when I turn. But other than that I love my jeep. I just need to upgrade the stereo. I drove it across country with no problems. The jeep liberty is not very good on gas mileage, but it is fun to drive.

easy to drive and take care off and only needs to be filled every two weeks.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

The 2004 Jeep Liberty has been a very reliable SUV through my 9 years of owning one. I haven't had any big problems to fix since owning the Jeep except replacing the radiator and starter. The SUV is easy to drive and fit into tighter spaces. My husband and I always take my vehicle when going into the city because it can make sharp turns and fits into compact car spots.

Good reliability, support and protection

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

Very good life span and protection. Few minor problems due to time with vehicle but still recommended. Saved a lot of gas money with it and very good protection against floods or crashes due to build of the vehicle. Very good reliability considering the time spent with vehicle and very comfortable with trunk space and leg space for backseat passengers

- Claudia G

The 2004 Jeep Liberty is a perfect start car for anyone.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

This car is 15 years old and still kicking. Although there have been many problems with it such as transmission, engine, CV axles, and drive shaft. But for it's age, it drives well. The seats are comfortable and there is plenty of room. The seats in the back fall down so there's even more room. The back windshield wiper is useful when it rains.

- Ashleigh F

My Jeep is a reliable old horse, of a beautiful maroon red.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

My jeep liberty is a used car, but is very reliable and comfortable. It has a 15 gallon tank, and gas can tend to run out a bit more quickly than I'd like. It runs well and has 4 wheel drive, which is a perk since I live in a very muddy area. I had to put my own radio system in, since the one that came with the car was much older.

Survived two wrecks and is still truckin'

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

Not a comfort vehicle by any means, but super durable. My first car, and it's still trucking. Have had to replace several things, including but not limited to the fuel pump, radiator, water pump, passenger back window twice, and the battery. Has survived two car accidents and a teenage driver and kept me unharmed through it all.

. Great for car camping traveling or every day driver

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

I love this four wheel drive small SUV. Perfect for driving down questionable dirt road to trails and camping spots. Also it does amazing in the snow, I've been able to make it to work on some bad weather days. The gas mileage is ok, and the stereo system stock rocks out pretty hard. I enjoy the rain guards on my windows.

- Brook S

Best snow performance I could ask for

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

My jeep has 250,000 miles on it and still going strong. I very rarely have any problems with it. Very comfortable and very durable. Cute little car but also very tough. Couldn't be happier with the performance in the snow. I live in an area where we get alot of snow and its performance is absolutely outstanding.

- Anonymous W

Love my Jeep, Lots of Storage

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

I love my Jeep! It fits a lot of groceries in the trunk and I enjoy being elevated. My only complaint is that it doesn't have an auxiliary cable, because I would like to be able to listen to music from my phone through the radio. Besides that, I am happy with my purchase and would buy this type of car again.

- Audrey W

An interesting detail is the room that allows for comfort in driving.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

Very economical. Roomy and a joy to drive. Easy to maneuver I. No radio, heat or a/c. Easy to park and available to haul items. Like the color and size. Comfortable to drive. Accommodates room for people to sit comfortable and enjoy the ride. Back seat is able to be removed to allow for more room.

- Catherine S

Love my jeep liberty and you will too!

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

I love my jeep. I have owned it for 12 years. It has 175,000 miles on it and still runs great. It does need the occasional maintenance due to it is age but it still fits my needs and I feel safe in it. I wish they still made this body type because I like it better than some of the newer models.

- Kelsey L

My 20 year old maroon Jeep

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

The car smokes from the front and it goes through the ac on the inside. The wheel alignment messes up frequently. 3 windows have fallen off their track and had to be fixed. It does not have the best gas mileage. However it does have a spacious trunk and allows me to carry my art in the back.

- Ellie G

Great SUV that will last a long time!

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

This has been an overall reliable car for our family! We have been pretty lucky to have it last for over 15 years. The biggest downside is the very low miles per gallon, our car is a gas guzzler. This is the perfect affordable car for a student or young couple. I would highly recommend.

- Mika H

It's a very good looking car.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

It's really nice. I enjoy the look of the car, it's a nice looking car and it runs well. The only issue I have with it is the gas mileage isn't the best. I think I get about 16 miles a gallon. I also have trouble accelerating up hills more in that car than any other car I've driven.

- Emily B

Jeep liberty is a very reliable car and saves on gas.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

Very dependable. Easy to fix.I love my Jeep. Good on gas. Very roomy. First SUV I have ever owned. Never really had a problem out of it. Rides smooth nice tires. I bought it back in 2017 and I have had it since. My family loves my Jeep liberty. It rides good and easy it saves on gas

2004 Jeep Liberty - pros & cons

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

It's a cute Jeep, but it's not cheap to work on or get parts for. It gets good gas mileage. It's durable. It seems tough enough to last. I like it for the most part. It doesn't have enough options though. The aftermarket products available are much better than factory ones.

- Rebecca T

It looks very nice from a side view.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

Engine light comes on sometimes and tire sensors are missing, other than that it drives nice and has a lot of trunk room so you can fit a large item in the back if needed. Also the back windshield wipers don't work sometimes. It also has fog lights which is a cool feature.

- Cameron Z

Excellent gas mileage. I am very happy.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

Good on gas. Very affordable insurance. Great in winter with excellent four wheel drive. I am very happy with my jeep. I added a towing package, hitch and two inch ball for efficient towing.I highly recommended it and very happy with it. My jeep is very easy to drive .

- Matthew T

Its 4x4 and runs great in the snow

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

my jeep is spacious, comfy and fun to drive. Its sporty and fits my personality. its 4x4 so I feel very safe driving it in the snow to and from where I need to be. The gas mileage is bad but I love the jeep itself. the quality of it has held up nicely over the years

- holly R

Great small SUV for extreme sport enthusiasts

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

The windows are sensitive and the regulators will give out with time but they are very easy to replace and relatively cheap as well. The gas cap sensor is prone to failure as well as the CO2 detector. It will give an error code even if everything has been fixed.

- Jean M

Cute, but doesn't hold up well with time

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

Cute, but uses oil, and has issues with sensors going bad. Also has issues with the door lock system, the trunk will not lock and one door will not lock or unlock when pressing the button. Mine is old with 240,000 miles, so a newer one may perform better.

- Amanda B

Red 4-door 2004 Jeep Liberty.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

Poor alignment and had to be recalled. Easily pushed by wind and poor weather conditions. When raining it easily hydroplanes and is difficult to control. I do like the height of the car and its look. It has a good amount of space in the back seat and trunk.

- Sarah B

She needs some TLC but she drives awesome.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

The only problem is the speedometer is messed up. It drives up and through places other vehicles cannot. I have had it for a few years now. It has never left me stranded. It has 4 wheel drive and 2 wheel drive. It has adjustable mirrors, extending visors.

- Ceile B

Love my jeep liberty even with some of its small issues.

2004 Jeep Liberty Sport

Does great in the snow in Midwest. Common issues with steering fluid leak and it burns some oil. It is to be expected with over 260,000 on the engine. Overall it is been a dependable vehicle. A little small for full size car seats if you have children.

- Kirsten B

Nice looking

2004 Jeep Liberty sport

I love the look, Some of the problems I’ve had with my 2004 Jeep Liberty: window motors have went out and had to be replaced a few times, new transmission at 170,000 miles, motor burns oil 160,000 miles.

- T Wright

Nice looking

2004 Jeep Liberty sport

Drives well, had to put a new transmission in my Jeep Liberty @ 170,000 miles.
