I love that my vehicle is well built and has leather interior.
My jeep is amazing, I love it, I have 3 small children and they all fit comfortably in the back. I was offered a wonderful warranty when I purchased my vehicle and I can honestly see keeping it until it crumbles into a pile of scrap. I recommend regular tune ups but overall I haven’t had many problems.

2011 Jeep Liberty Jet Nightmare
I purchased a used 2011 Jeep Liberty Jet from Landmark Chrysler used with 59, 000 miles on it in the first 6 months my heater core went out the next year my thermostat has went out twice. My transmission went out and then my sun room stop working. Now my car has been leakibg for 5 going 6 years and they never fixed the problem. Now my car has been in the shop since the day after memorial day I was visiting my Grandfather, who was a veteran served his country when Jeep, started overheating. I got a lemon and when look at used do your home work it has cost me thousands of dollars.

Jeep liberty the comfortable box.
A lot of transmission issues. I spend a lot on gas. The gas mileage is not so bad. The heat does not work very well. I like the trunk space. The radio does not work. It does not have Bluetooth. I love the seats they are very comfortable. I like that I can get through the snow easily.

Jeep liberty good car bad gas mileage.
Reliable and comfortable. Its older so. It has some age related problems but my biggest issue is with the gas mileage. It is not environmentally friendly or cost effective. I like the optional four wheel. It works well for snowy and icy conditions. Overall a good car.

Roomy, good size, good for long drives, nice interior.
We have taken our liberty on many road trips, the liberty is very roomy for two adults, a toddler and two pups that always join us. The truck does burn a lot of gas, which is a huge con. The ac doesn't work very well in high heat 90 degrees or more. But overall it is a good car.

A okay car. Has gotten me this far.
I have had my jeep for 5 years and no major problems till this year. I had my air go out and other random things! It is currently in the shop and getting a new starter! Other than that it has been a great car. I would like a car where I spend less in gas! But I also would like not to pay on a car for a bit.

Money Pit
Absolute nightmare. Purchased used with 150K. Within one year I have replaced the purge solenoid, water pump, radiator, electronic throttle body, exhaust manifold, tensioner assembly, serpentine belt and brakes. It still leaks transmission fluid, oil and coolant daily. Transmission slips, rough idle, embarrassingly loud, all without a single check engine light outside of the purge valve. I have owned this vehicle for 14 months and have already bought it twice -- and that's with me doing all of the repairs myself. Such a frustrating disappointment.

Pros of owning the jeep liberty.
This is my second jeep and I have always loved their product. My jeep rides very smooth which I love, gets decent gas mileage, and since it is a boxy shape it has great visibility. I also thoroughly enjoy that this vehicle is American made so when I need something fixed it can be done quickly instead of waiting for parts from another country. This vehicle is also sturdy and can withstand a few dents and dings.

Jeep liberty 2011: ol reliable.
I haven't really had any issues with the liberty. The interior is pretty spacious which is great for me, my girlfriend and our two large dogs. It is a jeep so obviously you can feel most of the bumps and road but that is the fun of driving a jeep. It has decent mileage on gas and has not had any issues since I have been driving it.

2011 jeep liberty limited edition with all the bells and whistles.
My jeep has remote start, and heated seats, and CD/DVD player. It has GPS navigation. It has Bluetooth and back up hard drive. It has sunroof / moonroof. It has leather seats, and auto lights, and power windows, power seats, and memory seating. It is white with chrome and has 18 inch tires.

2011 jeep liberty, black four wheel drive.
I love it. I have some tech issues when it starts at time. I had another tech issue with the airbags but that was due to who I bought the car off of. It is very comfortable to ride it. I drive a lot. I am not a fan of how the moisture gets into the windshield on the inside. It makes it difficult to see. And I also wish the dash was longer so I can travel easier at times.

High price (worth it) for adventures.
It is a great, spacious vehicle. Very comfortable to drive it, since it is a tall vehicle and allows you to see everything very well. It has a lot of space for traveling, or to be used in most situations. The mileage is not very good, at the end of the month the expenses on gas will be high depending on how much you drive; however it is still a wonderful car.

Gray jeep liberty, not 4wd.
My vehicle is a 2011 gray jeep liberty. It is not four wheel drive but still does decently when driving off road. My vehicle has held together pretty good over the past 3 years I have owned it. However, it is a jeep and jeeps are known for their low gas mileage. My car does fairly good on gas and I think it is worth the money I have to spend BC it is a good car. I feel safe and protected in it.

Rugged comfort with a jeep liberty sport.
Things I love about my jeep liberty sport include comfort, rugged, roomy, heated seats, handles great and the 4 wheel drive is on the console and easily accessible. The only issue I have had is with the computer messages, it will say system warnings present and within minutes it will say system ok. I have had a couple issues with the ac and heat also.

2011 jeep liberty - can handle everything.
I love my jeep liberty. I have put 120,000+ miles in the 7 years that I have owned it - it is covered the majority of the east coast from Maine down to South Carolina. The gas mileage could be better, but it is consistent which is helpful. It is fun to drive and can handle well in all types of weather.

Overall a wonderful car that drives great when taken care of.
I bought the car and immediately had problems with the transmission and found out that it is a very common problem. After fixing the issues with the transmission I have enjoyed the car and am very happy that it was my first car. The seats are extremely comfortable and the speakers are wonderful.

The jeep liberty is a lemon.
I have had to replace the engine, the motors that control the windows movements have been replaced in the drivers and passengers side which are expensive because it is the limited model. The video system will not hook up to headphones it has to be on the car stereo. The heater has never blown super warm or defrosted well.

2011 jeep liberty car can go through anything.
My jeep started out really good, it was bought used with 40000 miles. Had a rear axle bearing go out, got fixed. Then the transmission was starting to go out so that got replaced as well. Found out later the car had been in a flood and that is why the transmission had gone out. It has been a pretty solid car.

It's a strong but heavy SUV. I feel very safe in it.
I love my Jeep Liberty. It is fun to drive, tough and durable and dependable. I love the leather interior, and I always wanted a white one and I got it! I dislike that they discontinued it and I cannot get another newer one, because they brought back the Cherokee.

Our fun jeep liberty sport.
We have had this vehicle for quite a few years and we really do like it a lot. It is durable and has provided us with a safe and fun commute to and from work each day. It is comfortable and sporty. We like what it looks like as well as just driving it around from time to time. They discontinued the liberty so if you can find one I recommend you get one if you are in the market for a fun jeep.

This is a great vehicle. Love the sporty feel and eat that it drives. Does have its issues of course. Makes a weird jumpy feel when regular unleaded gas is put into the tank but runs beautiful when you use premium gas. Love my car and all its features.

2011 jeep liberty, not the newest vehicles on the market but worth the buy!
The one thing I love about my vehicle is the huge sunroof that covers nearly the whole top of the truck. The touch screen radio and navigation system loaded with Bluetooth capabilities really comes in handy when taking long trips and allowing for hands free navigation. The interior is a beautiful tan color with silver trims and grey accents really give a beautiful touch to the black exterior. The digital dashboard also is very up to date showing tire pressure, miles, gears, and how many miles til empty. The trunk space may be my favorite because it is more than big enough to fit anything I have ever needed to transport including a huge coffee table and 2 end tables (the back seats let down as well).
accountCircle Brit E on February 7, 2021

2011 jeep liberty sport gone wrong.
I purchased a 2011 jeep liberty sport, barely any miles about two summers ago. 4 days after I bought this jeep from a known in town dealer the engine blew up on the highway. This story could be very long but all in all, the place forgot to change the oil and I drove without noticing the blinking * check engine light* and boom my car needs a whole need engine and fluid is everywhere. So I lose my car for about 5 months. So not off too the best start. Now I thought I loved the brand of the car, jeeps were in and I had wanted one for years. Saved up every penny I had as a child. I've had to change my tires twice, multiple flat tires, lights go out all the time, not as good in snow as you would think and probably one of the worst purchases my family has made. I am emotionally attached to this car as it has gotten me through a couple years off college and I have always kept it in good care. In the summertime, rarely any problems, but couldn't seem to hang in the winter months.
accountCircle Elizabeth H on February 6, 2021
It is been a tank for the last 8 years owning regardless of issues.
Sunroof leaked, many issues after 100k miles, comfortable for long trips, gas guzzler, air conditioning unit has issues, resistant to interior wear and tear, coolant level does not like to maintain level, burns oil, uconnect for Bluetooth is great, radio antenna has weak signal.

Perks of owning a jeep liberty.
I love that it is four wheel drive and it is reliable for me to drive in any weather the seasons in New York throws at me. It is everything I could dream about. I have had no problems other than room. I love the way it rides even though I said I would never own something rear wheel drive. But I absolutely do not regret buying my vehicle!!
accountCircle Daniel K on January 14, 2021
I would not buy another one.
I enjoy driving it and I tow it behind my motorhome, however, I have had ongoing trouble with the air conditioning and heating system and the evaporative control system. Estimate to fix the ac/heating system is $500 and I do not have an estimate on the evap control system as I am afraid to ask. The check engine light stays and when I plug the code reader in it says gas cap, but I have replaced it twice and still have the problem, the heating system control is erratic, sometimes it works and sometimes it does not. You can occasionally hear a very rapid clicking noise from under the dashboard and a mechanic told me it's a known problem, and the part is cheap but they have to disassemble the dashboard and the labor is expensive,

Best SUV on the market. Jeep!
Has been an extremely reliable car, has never left me stranded, I have had no mechanical problems at all, very smooth riding, lots of power for a v6 and a pleasure to drive. Has four-wheel-drive which I do not use often but I am grateful to have. This is my third Jeep and I have had nothing but great luck with Jeeps.

Great car, not for families with young kids.
The car is functional, can take a beating, and go the distance even with poor maintenance. Very good car to learn how to drive in, as it is small enough to feel comfortable in but not so small that going to a larger vehicle is difficult. The interior cabin is very small; it is not the best car for when you have small children as it will not comfortably seat front row passengers while there are car seats in the second row.

Overview of a 2011 jeep liberty.
The stuff that comes with the jeep liberty like heated mirrors and controls on the steering wheel are great. The engine is a solid 3.7l engine. However, he suspension is a bit stiff on the jeep liberty but it is because it is made more for off-roading.

My liberty, is almost 10 years and the back rt tire abs sensor just went out. I have replaced nothing but tires over the years. Not only that but the turning ratio is awesome. I can turn this jeep around in the middle of a 2 way road and not even go off road.

My vehicle has become quite the money pit.
I love the size of my jeep. It is not to big, but not to small. Also, it runs smoothly for a jeep when it is working that is. However, in the space of 4 years I have had to replace the transmission, fuses, spark plugs, rotors, cylinder head and other minor parts. This does not include the electronic challenges I have had with the vehicle. Needless to say, as the second owner of the vehicle I never expected to have all those complications.

2011 jeep liberty review in 2020.
Pro's- 4 wheel drive is excellent in winter driving. Back seat folds flat. My camping gear fits perfectly. Cons- due to discontinued status of the liberty, parts are getting scarce. The mode door actuator for air vent redirection has gone out twice and each time it gets changed out, the revision/ rebuild has caused nothing but problems. For example, no matter how hard mechanics try, getting heat on the drivers side floor does not work correctly. Air conditioner parts are problematic also.

It is meant to be driven on pavement AND dirt roads.
Nearing 100,000 miles and still runs like a beast. Gas mileage isn't great but you know that going into it. Has awesome power. AC recently went out from a cracked evaporator and driver side window has been losing power. Other than those few things, this vehicle has been extremely reliable.

The heat cuts on and off. It makes some screeching noises but other than that, not bad. The color is a beigish color which I do not love but it gets the job done. 2011 jeep liberty sunroof.
My absolute biggest problem with the car comes with the sunroof. Now I do not know how common this problem is but a part of the motor that opens the sunroof stopped working. The car was under warranty through the company we bought it so we brought it to them to fix. They contacted jeep and it turns out the part we needed is not consistently made anymore. This is a main feature of the car and runs its resale value. Beyond this, the car has been great, the air conditioning in my car works as well as it is able to, but still does not cool the car very well.

4-wheel drive works in snow and mud.
I have been driving this car for 8 years, and I love it. It's very comfortable, and it has a lot of space which has been really useful when moving, camping, or even just grocery shopping. The sun roof is immense and really makes it feel like a jeep. Easy to switch to 4-wheel drive, which is absolutely essential if you drive off road, or if you live in an area that gets a lot of snow. I've never been stuck, and I have taken it through some nasty storms and some muddy fields. My only criticism is the gas mileage. It's only around 20 highway, and as low as 14 in town. Good vehicle in past five years have had to replace water pump and window board.
It is too small for a family of three, I do not like how you have to turn sideways to get into the back seat.

It is wonderful in most ways.
I like that it is a 4x4 and has four doors. I dislike that it is so boxy looking. It's also not big enough for my family.

That it stinks on gas. I am constantly filling it up.
The car drives nice and looks nice. There's a huge sunroof so it's really nice in the summer. The only problem with it is that it eats gas.

Jeep liberty limited- I love this car.
It's cute. It runs great. I have only had a problem with the gas cap light coming on every so often, even after purchasing a new gas cap. I like how it drives. The gas mileage is ok. It has leather, heated seats and they are amazing. The back is pretty big and with the back seats down, it is extra large.

It doesn't drive well in the rain. It tends to hydroplane.
I don't like the gas mileage, it is low. I do like being lifted up higher as opposed to a sedan. I do like the settings on the inside and how they look. I don't like that it doesn't have a sunroof or bluetooth.

Not overly big but spacious.
I have had my jeep liberty for just over 2 years now. I love how it has the jeep feel but yet is spacious enough for my 2 children and dog. I have had no major problems with my jeep. I love the sunroof and how much space it has when the back seats get folded down.

Reliable family car with plenty of space!
We purchased our 2011 jeep liberty seven years ago. I had given birth to my son just two months prior. My car had completely broken down and my husband's car was a two seater that I had to crouch down very low to get into. So we were definitely looking for an upgrade. We found our new family car instantly when we set eyes on the light grey jeep. It was the perfect size for a family of three. With plenty of extra space. We have taken plenty of family road trips in this car. It is good on gas and never had any big issues that needed fixing. It has been very reliable. There’s plenty of room in the back to put all of our things. Seven years and another baby later, we're still very happy with our purchase.

It runs great and looks great.
I have had my vehicle for several years now and I haven't had any problems with it. I love the look and plan to eventually get another Jeep.

Jeep Liberty Renegade
Worst car I have ever purchased - once I reached 120K everything started breaking from which started with leaking transmission fuel, replaced water pump, new assembly, corroded transmission lines, and the final straw was actually a new transmission in a vehicle less than 5 years old - the under vehicle rust even after paying for rust protection, have put in 3 radiators, they also wanted almost $ 850. To replace the switch which is the warning light for my air bags, I had to replace the window buttons on driver side as the button actually broke, the rubber stripping on the doors is falling off - it basically has had more repairs in a fairly new vehicle then I would if the car was over 10 years old...never again would I purchase a Jeep....their service was also terrible...I paid for extra warranty that covered absolutely nothing that went wrong with my vehicle....piece of c**p actually.......

You can go almost anywhere.
I like that it is very rugged and durable. It has plenty of room to transport many things. I don't like the low mpg.

Reliable and dependable and very roomy for my family.
It's a very reliable car. Kind of a rough drive. Does ok on gas mileage. We feel very safe in the jeep. It's pretty roomy inside. Good size for my family of 3. The heating and air could be a little better. The interior is durable and easy to clean. Would definitely consider buying from jeep again.

2011 jeep liberty- reliable vehicle, spacious, comfortable.
Haven't had any major issues with my car! Only typically upkeep as it is an older vehicle. However has been completely sturdy and reliable since I purchased it. Only major flaw would be gas mileage but it is typical for any SUV. Personally love the size of the vehicle, comfortably fit 2 car seats and still has a full size trunk.

It has exactly what I need.
It is a very reliable car, I do wish it had a little bit more sensitive steering control. The interior is nothing fancy but exactly what you need. I like the radio/Audio system- it's simple and sounds good. The trunk size is nice, it gives a lot of room without being a very big vehicle.

My is the beat gift I have ever received.
This Jeep was a graduation gift from my parent and it was a total surprise. They knew I wanted a Jeep but I never expected to get one. I have had it for 6 years and it has been good to me.

That it is not for joy riding, and need to be available at any given time.
Automatic seat adjustment and handles well. Navigation system and download all my CDs. But does not get great gas mileage.

The options for different terrains and how easy it is to shift.
This car is great and has not given me many problems. It drives very well and does well in many different kinds of weather and climates. It does well with gas mileage. The interior is very spacious and seats all the people I need to transport. Overall I am very happy with it.

Jeep life is the life to live.
I would say that the performance of the jeep that I have is incredible. I have never been let down by any jeep I have ever driven, even after you break them they are likely to get you home at the end of the day over any other car. It is a very reliable car you could take a long road trips in it because is super comfortable and they have a never ending list of features that you could add to your jeep.
