Jeep patriot, one solid vehicle.
Extremely reliable. No major problems after 140,000 miles. Very solid vehicle, no unusual sounds inside or out. Very comfortable ride. It's A manual transmission. Shifts smoothly. Never had a problem with the clutch. I have only had to replace the brakes and the tires.

The Dependable Jeep Patriot
The Jeep Patriot is the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. The body and inside have held up well over the nine years and runs smoothly. The back seat area is rather small but it fits have a nice storage area in the bank the justifies the space. The features are standard however the reliability is next to none.

My orange FUN ride! You have to get yourself into a Jeep!
I bought my car with about 10,000 miles already on it and now have about 110,000 miles. Beyond the basic tires, filters, I did have to replace some suspension parts around 100,000 miles I've had no major issues with it. When I first considered buying it used I thought it would probably have an uncomfortable ride because of the body shape of the Jeep. I actually was wrong. It has a pretty. Smooth ride. This was my first SUV and honestly my next car when I need one will be another Jeep. It handles corners pretty good and is great to take my dogs on a ride out for the day! The gas mileage also surprised me for being an SUV. I can get between 340-370 miles before I have to fill the gas tank

Great little SUV for the family.
My jeep is great, I love it! I have 3 kids and it fits us just fine. I love driving it around, I mostly drive it for everyday errands like taking the kids to school or running out to the grocery store. We live in a somewhat small town so when I drive down the hill into Poway it doesn't break the bank as far as gas is concerned.

Best vehicle I've ever owned
I am having transmission problems I've replaced my transmission twice in 3 years, I would say it's very reliable I have 250,000 miles on it and it still drives amazing, incredible reliable in the snow. One of the most comfortable SUVs I've been in lots of legroom. I only wish my seat height moved up and down as I am short

It's a Jeep Patriot and I love the back, it has a lot of room.
The air compressor just went out and it cost $800 to fix it other than that I love my Jeep. The next vehicle I get will be a Jeep.
accountCircle Jasmin M
My jeep is a red patriot is quiet spacious and nicely structured.
Within the jeep everything runs smoothly and is good to take in the fields since it can get over bumps and holes on the ground. I haven't had any issues with the jeep except for the fact that the owner before didn't tell us that we can't roll down the windows or else they get stuck. Fortunately we made our way around that and will get it fixed soon. Otherwise, it is a nice car that doesn't need much money into gas.

Jeeps are great, Love my Patriot!
I have had very few problems with this vehicle and repairs are very inexpensive. It drives great, speeds up quickly and stops on a dime. Super reliable. Comfortable enough, very roomy. Features are basic but it is a Jeep, it has everything I need (Satellite Radio). My 100 lb dog fits in the trunk just fine!

It is a lemon. Do not purchase.
My transmission blew at 60,000 miles which is insane. It has a known jerking problem that no mechanic can seem to figure out. All you have to do it google that and you will find multiple people with this unsolvable issue. Along with a bunch of little problems like the arms have broke multiple times. I could never, in good faith, resell this car to someone.

I love the color. The forest green is beautiful.
I have had the vehicle for about 2 years. It has broken down and needed repair at least 4 times. It is an expensive vehicle. Yes it is comfy and the 4 wheel drive is excellent for the winter months since I live in Minnesota. But I have never owned a car that breaks down as often as this jeep does.

The ability to go from a beautiful luxury suv to an exciting 4-wheel drive off road vehicle.
It is the most reliable vehicle I've ever owned. Smooth ride, ample power, and easy to maintain. A true driving pleasure.

Undependable vehicle, not for families
Engine trouble all the time. I've had to replace the transmission, motor, starter, alternator, brakes, shocks. All in 4 years. It's not roomy at all, and it is a huge gas hog. I will never buy another one. Not recommended for someone with children. No leg room in the back.

Issues include engine problems, recalls and repair costs. 4wd, gas.
Expensive repair costs, used car with engine issues, comfort is nice when it works. The interior esthetics is nice. Gas is also not bad. Four wheel drive for the snow gives me a sense of security. Maintenance is expensive. I think the recall on the jeeps causes more issues than expected.

White 2010 Jeep patriot, sport 4 door SUV.
I always seem to have issues with this car. Within three weeks of purchasing this vehicle, the throttle body went out. It shakes, you can feel every single bump in the road, the smallest gust of wind, or the slightest turn. The gas mileage is not the best. I purchased the patriot because I had owned a grand Cherokee in the past, but these two vehicles are not remotely similar.
accountCircle Jessica Z
I like that it has 4 wheel drive and it is good on gas. I dislike that it is not a smooth ride and I do not like the transmission.
It is very good on gas and rides excellent in snowy conditions.

Great car if you can fix anything that goes wrong with it.
It is a comfortable car, I get good gas mileage. The biggest thing I do not like about it is I bought it used and I have had one issue after another with it. I currently have 4 lights on; tire pressure light, check engine light, airbag light and oil pressure light. It used to randomly die if the car got too hot. No one could give me a reason why, but it has not done it in about 6 months. And no one can tell me why all the other lights are on either. Except the check engine light. That is because the intake manifold valve one is stuck open. But I replaced the sensor and it is still on. I will not pass safety at all so I have given up on it.

2010 jeep patriot condition.
My vehicle still runs great for how old it is. I have kept up on maintenance. The only problem I have is the sensor that shows what the tire pressure is. Other that it runs great. I bought it used and wound buy it again if I had to do it over again. I will drive for as long as possible.

Jeep has hidden treasures on the windshields.
The low tire light is always on even though my tires are not low on air. Very reliable. Water leaks through the moon roof when it rains. Comfortable with a spacious trunk. Decent on gas. Fits two car seats. Heated leather seats. Four wheel drive. Good in snow. Has six cord. Has phone charger outlet.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Ashley V.

Small but still lots of room. Is tall so I can see over other cars which is important as a short person. It has a lot of miles but still is fine. It seems to have good gas mileage. The back seat folds down to give more healing space.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Ashley V.

It doesn't have great 0 to 60. They stopped making the model so getting parts can be hard. Its can feel a bit big sometimes and finding parking can be a bit tricker. The rear speaker broke and hangs down so opening up the back is always annoying.
