I wish it got better gas mileage. That is really my only complaint. I think the jeep patriot is safe, comfortable, and stylish. I love having four wheel drive. I haven't had to get much maintenance done on the vehicle either which is nice just basic oil changes and tire rotations. I have had the brakes replaced twice in the 3 years I have had it but that is because I 'ride my brakes' a lot. My jeep itself is 8 years old and has close to 100,000 miles on it and is still running great. Highly recommend vehicle. Will buy a jeep brand for my next car.

The jeep patriot is a good value vehicle that has good fuel economy. It has more internal storage than the jeep renegade and a better mpg rating while giving the boxy jeep style that reminds you of the original jeep Cherokees. The problems with the vehicle that I have noticed so far are mainly to do with the internal computer. Another downside to the vehicle is the smaller four cylinder engine which while helping the gas mileage, makes it unable to tow anything effectively.

Since buying my Jeep in 2013, I have only had to replace the alternator and the front ball joints. My jeep handles really well in any weather. I have taken it on multiple cross country road trips, it is super comfortable to ride in. I love that besides regular maintenance my jeep continues to be in great shape. I have the base model, but that doesn't take away from the simplicity and reliability.

So far I have not run into any issues (knock on wood). It handles very well. It shifts very smoothly! It is very comfortable to drive, as it fits all 3 of my children in the back. Two are in car seats and one is in a booster. They all have plenty of legroom. The trunk space is perfect, as well as spacing for both driver and passenger. I easily give my car a 10/10. It's perfect for me!

I bought my vehicle used. It has been a very reliable car. Due to the age of the vehicle I had to replace the transmission which was covered under warranty and ever since that it runs like a dream! My favorite feature of this vehicle is the amount of space. I love being able to put my seats down and having the option to carry bulky items that wouldn't be able to fit in a sedan.

Drives really smooth for a Jeep, lot of younger people like it but parents worry it isn't safe. Patriot is a good option in comparison to the Wrangler for safety. Has a lot of storage. Definitely good for like a first college student car type of deal. I enjoy driving the car for sure and will have it for years to come

A little slow since it's a 4 cylinder but it's roomy and sporty! Love it! Great on gas, and great on mileage, I use it for work a lot and it has tons of room for my kids as well! Lots of updates and features. The seats fold down, and it has great traction control it's awesome during the winter and in rain as well.

My silver 2011 jeep patriot is very efficient. It is spacious, fuel efficient, fast when it wants to be, and very reliable. I wouldn't trade it for anything! It has manual windows, therefore, never have to worry about the fuse blowing for electric windows. It is very affordable and it makes a great family car!

Overall, the jeep has been a reliable car. The only problem that I have had is when the battery died about 4 months ago. There have been some recall notices for my vehicle however, it still runs very well and I enjoy driving it. I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a mid size SUV.

The only issue I can really think of, is that the gas mileage is not so great. Otherwise, it is been a very durable and reliable car, especially during the winter months. Comfortable (heated seats!) And easy to maneuver. I also appreciate the Bluetooth so I can have my favorite music as I drive.

Very smooth and very good on gas in great in the snow. Is Rey a reliable and it's never left me in the position I think this is one of the best cars and best Jeeps around I would recommend it to anybody including any family member or friend. That's why I like the Jeep Patriot

Great on gas, great in the winter with 5 wheel drive, my family had outgrown it but it's perfect for a single or small family, love the outlet in the center council, great trunk space and back seats fold all the way down for more room, front seats adjust up and down as well

The car works, but I have had a lot of maintenance issues over the past years that have been very frustrating for me. I feel I have put more money into the car then it is worth. I worry about how much longer the car will last me. I do like the design and how the car rides.

I like the roominess inside and having a larger vehicle for my family. The engine is CVT and that's a setback for me personally. It takes A LOT of work to go uphill or just even to get up to a decent speed. Other than that, I enjoy my jeep and would own another one.

Haven't had any problems with my jeep. Great on gas and mileage. I keep up with oil changes and tires. 1st road trip was to Ohio. Drives great! I'm glad I made the decision to get the Jeep Patriot. It's the right size for my family. I see longevity in this truck.

Slow pick up, not many 'extra' features. I've had a few minor electrical difficulties but no major fixes, so it's reliable. It's comfortable and a great sized car, fits a lot of luggage. It has made it with me through several moves and I never needed a uhaul!
