The greatest small SUV around.

2014 Jeep Patriot Latitude

The main thing I like about my jeep is the way that it drives. I have tested it on long trips and have never run into any issues. Plus the fact that it is great on gas is a huge benefit. The style of the patriot is very appealing, and it has a good amount of space inside the vehicle. My truck sits 5 passengers comfortably, and has plenty of legroom for it being a smaller SUV. Being a parent of children who are just starting to drive, I would say that the jeep patriot is a good and safe vehicle for both new and established drivers. I have personally had my jeep since march 2017, and haven't had any majors issues arise. I have had to replace my battery and tires, but that was simply because I purchased my vehicle used. If you are searching for a dependable and decent priced vehicle, then I would definitely recommend a jeep product. This has actually been my first experience with the jeep brand, and I have been pleasantly surprised and very happy with my vehicle. I have also met quite a few other people who also have jeeps and have received the same type of feedback. All in all, if you are looking for a smaller type of SUV, the jeep patriot is a very good option. It has a nice look, both inside and out. It has plenty of space inside. My truck also comes with the option of switching from a automatic to a stick shift. I personally prefer the automatic option, but some people would probably appreciate having the option available. For the price, style, and gas intake, I would highly recommend the jeep patriot to other consumers.

Decent car, not Best for a Large Family

2014 Jeep Patriot Latitude

The car is reliable. It is in good condition and so far in the year we've had it, only the windshield wipers have needed replaced. The cup holders light up, which is neat. The heating and air work well. It does not have many fancy features- no key fob to remotely lock or unlock the doors, and they can only be unlocked with the key from the driver's side, which is sometimes a pain, but how many key fobs work for very long anyway. The trunk space is large, though sometimes hard to put groceries in without your milk crushing your bread or your cokes getting shaken, but because it is a decent sized space it isn't too hard to put storage tubs or laundry baskets in the back to carry groceries. The car is a bit smaller than we would have liked- with two kids in car seats or booster seats, it can be hard for everyone to have wiggle room or to actually easily reach their seatbelts, but they do fit safely otherwise. The biggest problem is that the seats only move forward and backwards, not up and down, so I can't actually drive it because I can't scoot forward and up enough to reach the pedals and see over the end of the car, and, while I am shorter than average, I am not exceptionally short, so that really rules out a lot of people being able to drive the car. Mechanically, I don't know much about cars, but it has been reliable and not needed any major service. It will probably need new brake pads soon, but it is holding out fine so far.

Spacious and comfortable Jeep.

2014 Jeep Patriot

I own a 2014 Jeep patriot. I really like the space that it has and that the seat folds down to make more room for transporting bigger items. The front and back seat are pretty comfortable and roomy. I did not opt for many "extras" but its been very dependable. I would say my least favorite thing about the patriot has been . Sometimes when you get in and try to start the vehicle, it acts like its not going to turn over and start. It's not every time that this happens, but it would be upsetting if far from home or stuck not near help. I haven't had any major performances problems other than the battery issue. It is never broken down or other major problems. The heating and air conditioning all work great! The radio/disc player is also great. I believe it has towing capabilities but I have not tried that out. I would have to say that one thing I do not like is that it is not AWD! That feature is really nice with inclement weather which we get a lot. It does have front wheel drive, but I most definitely like AWD better. As a whole it's still great just missing a few features that would help make it better!
