Compact and sporty and dependable.
I connect app issues navigation not use friendly panel has nice size easy to view love this car other than many issues with the car applications doom the quiet ride and vehicle durability so far great cabin space fits 4 adults and a dog comfortably I recommend.

Others opinions. What I like about it.
It will not speed up as fast, but very comfortable, sporty looking inside, has CarPlay, gas is good, I wish the windows were darker, I think it is good for small people, tall or big people tend to feel tight in the car. It has cup holder on all four door and in the back it has a place to pull up and add things in there if you need more space, it helps a lot, mine has orange features inside also.

Jeep renegade - small but spacious.
It is a very surprisingly smooth ride. The anti lock brakes and cruise control are great features on the car. Windows and mirrors are aligned perfectly. Small interior and exterior - perfect for a couple or single person - not so much a larger family. Very spacious for a small car.

Jeep renegade 2019-great vehicle for the price.
The jeep renegade has been a great vehicle for me so far. It handles well in the snow, gets great gas mileage and has enough power even though it is only a 4 cylinder. I have had a jeep Cherokee latitude in the past and for the price of the renegade, I would not spend the extra for the latitude in the future. I love the sporty versatility of this vehicle.

Manly car for a girl to go off road.
This car has been great, with 4 wheel drive and the bad winter's we have I have felt like I have always been in control of my car. . I also love the remote start, heated seats and steering wheel. I have not had any issues with it, I think the one thing I miss is the good gas mileage I got with my old car. I am still averaging 27 mpg, but used to get 30 in my old car!

New jeep renegade - do it.
I adore my jeep. However I do not like that when my gas is low it says “low” and does not let me know how many more miles I have. That is the only issue I have with my car and honestly it is not even a major issue. Great on gas, smooth driving. No complaints. The seats are super comfortable it is very compact but somehow roomy. I really enjoy my jeep renegade.

Renegade 2019: surviving Texas roads.
Broken windshield twice. Trunk is kind of small. Air conditioner goes out quickly. Does not gain speed as fast compared to our Subaru. Very comfortable, reliable, decent mpg, good speakers, good in rain and storms. Very customizable. Feels very safe.

2019 jeep renegade latitude.
The only. Problem that I have had is that it sometimes does not feel like you are going as fast as you are. Occasionally the pillars on the windshield get in the way, and the GPS box can be kind of in the way depending on the angle of the road ahead of you is at.

No bueno jeep renegade issues.
Running issues, has an issue running for long periods of time, always in the shop for less than 2,000 miles doesn't start all the time either, remote start has an issue always starting on the car itself and it's not a well designed vehicle I give it a one star.

Back up camera is a life saver especially coming from an older car.
The back seat of the vehicle is small and only able to fit one car seat comfortably. The trunk or hatchback of the vehicle is small however the removable board adds depth. Does take a lot of gas for small trips usually having to fill up every 4 days.
accountCircle Kevin W
I give the it a 3 of 10 def a car that works for shorter people high schoolers.
It's very compact. Not so great on gas. Poor sound quality. Poor interior design. Not sturdy enough. It drives smooth for the most part. But sit low for a crossover vehicle. I do not hate it but it could be a little more spacious it's not for long road traveling.

Jeep renegade has great features and a few cons.
I love my jeep renegade, it gets great mileage and does great in all weather. The interior is great and you can adjust the driver seat as much as you want. There is plenty of room in the back and the seats fold down which gives a lot more space. This vehicle is great for driving in the snow and has separate settings for different terrains. There are a few cons I found with mine; my back windows have never worked and I did not receive a spare tire only a 'tire repair kit'.

Great to drive but I had an issue with QC
The caris absolutely great to drive. However I have an issue where the radio antenna, base and all, just broke off its mount completely besides for the wires holding it on the car. I was not under any low overhangs, I was driving normally. It simply snapped off.

The jeep renegade is perfect for any small family.
It would be a good family vehicle. It has a decent amount of room. It has amazing gas mileage. And has four wheel drive so if you live where it snows or gets icy it's amazing. It has a decent amount of room in the back of the vehicle for luggage for if you want to go on a trip. It also allows you to add something on the top of your roof to add additional cargo.

2019 jeep renegade experience.
Reliable car. However, I wish I had a bigger backseat and trunk and automatic seats. Bluetooth capability which is nice. Car is very comfortable and can move the driver seat up and down to better your vision. Space for a spare tire. For a SUV, it has very good gas mileage and does not cost much to fill it up.

Smooth drive! But has some minor issues.
Overall nice car and it drives very smooth! My issues with the car is that the knobs in the car for radio volume, air conditioning etc. Are very all or nothing. It's either blasting incredibly loud or too soft. It seems like a small problem but after driving it for a while it is really annoying.

What Do Critics Say About the Jeep Renegade?

  • Consumer Reports says the 2019 Jeep Renegade offers a substantial and solid feel, while getting good owner satisfaction scores as it ages.
  • Edmunds rates the Renegade at 4.1/5, enjoying the decent off-road capabilities, but doesn’t like the clunky nine-speed automatic transmission.
  • Kelley Blue Book users give the 2019 Renegade a 3.8/5, praising the excellent passenger room and visibility, but owners don’t like the rapid depreciation as it ages.

What Common Problems Does the 2019 Jeep Renegade Have?

Common problems found on the 2019 Jeep Renegade include dead batteries, coolant leaks, along with some issues with the power driver’s seat. Overall, these problems are similar to other small SUVs, leading to average repair costs as the Renegade ages.

Dead batteries are the most widespread complaint from 2019 Renegade owners, showing up within the first 10,000 miles. There are a lot of electrical accessories in the Renegade, which sometimes draw power when the engine is off. Diagnosing the source of the parasitic draw costs around $50, and fixing it can cost $20 to $200.

Coolant leaks have also been reported by some Renegade owners at around 40,000 miles. The coolant lines eventually start to split and come loose from the radiator after heat cycling in the engine. Replacing the coolant lines costs around $300, depending on local labor rates.

Issues with the power driver’s seat are another complaint from 2019 Renegade owners at roughly 50,000 miles. The seat motor wears out as the SUV gets older, and has to be replaced to get it working again. Replacing the power seat motor costs around $600.

There are three recalls on the 2019 Jeep Renegade, which is similar to other small SUVs from the same year. The most serious recalls cover the occupant restraint controller (ORC), which is not calibrated right from the factory. Jeep will replace the ORC on affected models for free. The other recall covers the rearview camera, which Jeep will also fix for free.

How Long Will the 2019 Jeep Renegade Last?

A well-maintained 2019 Jeep Renegade can last around 175,000 miles, which is shorter than many other small SUVs, including the Toyota RAV4. Regular annual maintenance costs are similar to other compact SUVs on the market, according to data provided by Repair Pal, at $478 per year.

As a used 2019 Renegade reaches 100,000 miles, and depending on the vehicle history, owners should be prepared to replace the transmission mounts for $200, coolant reservoir costing $375, along with the rack and pinion, which costs around $1,300.

  • Automatic emergency braking
  • Parallel and perpendicular park assist

What Colors Does the Jeep Renegade Come In?

How Comfortable Is the Jeep Renegade?

The 2019 Jeep Renegade, built with both commutes and off-road adventures in mind, offers a level of comfort suitable for a vehicle in the subcompact SUV class. Its interior design incorporates high-quality materials, making the cabin feel more refined than what one might expect at its price point. The seats, available in both cloth and leather, are designed to provide ample support, providing comfort for both short drives and longer journeys. The vehicle accommodates up to five people, and while the front seats offer generous head and legroom, the rear seats can be a bit tight for taller passengers on longer trips. Ride quality is generally smooth, especially on well-maintained roads, though some bumps might be felt when venturing off-road or on rougher terrains.

The Renegade also comes with a range of available features, such as heated seats and a heated steering wheel, which elevate the comfort experience, especially in colder climates. Regarding noise, the cabin is reasonably insulated from external sounds, though some wind noise might be noticeable at higher speeds. Overall, the 2019 Jeep Renegade delivers a comfort level consistent with its category, balancing daily driving needs with its rugged, adventurous spirit.

How Much Storage Space Does the Jeep Renegade Have?

The 2019 Jeep Renegade offers a blend of off-road capability and urban utility. When it comes to storage, the compact SUV provides ample space to meet various needs. Behind the second-row seats, the Renegade offers about 18.5 cubic feet of cargo space. This is enough room to fit a few suitcases, a week’s worth of groceries, or even camping gear for a weekend getaway.

If you need additional space, folding down the rear seats expands the cargo area to 50.8 cubic feet, suitable for larger items like a bicycle, bulky luggage, or furniture pieces. Besides this primary cargo area, the Renegade also boasts several smaller storage spaces throughout its cabin. These include door pockets, a glove box, a center console bin, and various cup holders. Additionally, some models come with a removable cargo floor panel that can be adjusted to fit taller items or even serve as a hidden storage compartment. In summary, the 2019 Jeep Renegade guarantees that drivers and passengers have ample room for their belongings, whether it’s for daily commuting or adventurous getaways.

What Are the Differences Between Years?

The Jeep Renegade was first introduced for the 2015 model year as a new compact SUV.

2015: First model year for the new small SUV from Jeep.

2016: More standard features available, and a new upgraded Beats stereo system.

2017: Xenon headlights and keyless ignition added.

2018: Standard 5-inch touchscreen and rearview camera on all models, larger touchscreen now has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

2019: Minor exterior styling changes, along with more options packages available.

2020: Standard smartphone apps on all models and a stronger 1.3-liter engine added.

2021: More driver safety features added, Limited model features 4WD only, and there are some new limited-edition trims.

How Does the Jeep Renegade Compare to the Competition?

The 2019 Jeep Renegade is a decent small SUV for shoppers on a budget, but ultimately it is not as good as a lot of the other compact SUVs on the market.

The Ford Escape is another compact SUV, which can be found for around $1,500 more. Standard technology is better in the Ford Escape, while the four-wheel drive system works better in the Jeep Renegade. We recommend the Ford Escape since it lasts longer and has fewer issues from owners.

The Subaru Forester is a popular small SUV which costs around $3,500 more. Interior materials are more luxurious in the Subaru Forester, while the Jeep Renegade has some more storage space behind the rear seats. We recommend the Subaru Forester since it’s a much longer-lasting small SUV with more safety features.

So far so good! Really pleased with the car.
I have had the car for about a year now and I really like it. It is the perfect amount of space for me, single, and I love the interior. Haven't had any issues with it which was originally a concern when I bought the car. I love having remote start and heated seats in the winter months. I drive about a half an hour to and from work, I fill up my tank every week and a half or so which is not too bad.

Awesome flat color has awesome little easter eggs throughout.
This is one of the best vehicles I have driven. It has a key fob you just have to walk up to the door and unlocks as long as it is on your person. For it being more of a smaller SUV it has enough spunk to really get up hills without having any issues so far there haven't been any issues with the vehicle. You can adjust your air conditioner in front by preference of warmer or cooler on driver and passenger side. If your an outdoorsy person I would highly recommend this the back seat lays down flat for more room could put pillows and blanket in there or plenty of room for supplies.

Jeep peeps gotta love it! It's not too sporty and a little classy.
Love the color paint job and body style. The panoramic sunroof is so awesome it as the feeling of not being so closed off in a box. Like your outside. Letting the outside in. Beautiful view. The window views are great! Drives smooth maneuvers very well on winding roads. Has great speaker system loud and clear. Looks small on the outside but very spacious on the inside. Storage is great and accessible in reach. The trunk area is so handy I can throw stuff back there and it is enough room to haul just what I am needing to haul with no problems. Great travel buddy!! It has the back camera which makes driving so much more easier and fun. Seats are so comfortable and adjustable to almost any way your needing or wanting. The back seats are even roomy all in all this little compact jeep has all the bells and whistles. The negatives is the non sporty look. The tires are not appealing I wish it had the same tires as the sport model. Other than that if your wanting to spice it up interior wise there are lots of additions accessories color choices to add to make this jeep way more fun just like finding all its hidden easter eggs.

The seats are better than the other jeep Cherokee I had like more comfort. This car doesn't hold much gas so I wouldn't recommend it for a car trip. I like that it's a compact car but SUV. The interior is kind of strange because of how small it is. The cup holders are only in the front none in the back so if you have kids good luck.

Seats are not made for larger people.
The jeep renegade is a very economical vehicle. For a small SUV it has a lot of head and leg room. The only issue I have found was the seats are not very comfortable for a larger person. You wind up sitting on the side edges of the seat and after a longer trip you experience hip and leg pain. I really like the vehicle and would buy it again if the would consider changing their seat to make it more comfortable for all.

Great mid size jeep SUV smooth ride and attention to detail.
It is a great car for someone in city. Smooth ride and enough room for shopping and my golf clubs. Also the features like carplay, entertainment system and controls are easy to use. For example when you have low tire pressure the car will indicate which tire needs air. Also when you have the turn signal on that headlight will be brighter it is those little touches that make me love this car.

Features & form over function.
At six feet tall, the interior is a little cramped for me. That being said, the features are fantastic. The speakers bump, great for an audiophile like me. A good user interface with easy to configure settings. Satellite radio for those who want it. The handling is...Odd. At times it is very smooth, but at other times it feels like it is fighting me. It uses an electronic e-brake which I am not a huge fan of personally. In an emergency the ability to manually control the e-brake can save your life. That is something I have learned from experience.

Energy save mode has a stalling problem.
It has an energy saving feature where the engine shuts off at stop lights and stop signs. It stalls on start up and caused an issue several times. It is a nice thought to have for the vehicle but I leave the feature off to avoid the fear of it stalling on me in the middle of an intersection again.

Sensible, but electrically challenged.
The vehicle runs fine, but many of the electronic components are difficult to use. It is difficult using the dashboard display to show you how many miles you have left gas-wise, and the radio seems just cheaply made. Often the radio will just shut off, and sometimes getting my phone to connect is a pain. The seatbelt sensors sometimes do not work, and I must turn the car off and on again. Other than that the vehicle runs fine, and I cannot complain about its mileage.

My first vehicle I had was from 1998 and had no air conditioning but it did have four wheels. I love my current jeep more than anything. The seats are comfortable, it is very spacious and can load almost anything while still being a compact car. I love my gas mileage, and it has great handling.

Compact and sporty and dependable.
I connect app issues navigation not use friendly panel has nice size easy to view love this car other than many issues with the car applications doom the quiet ride and vehicle durability so far great cabin space fits 4 adults and a dog comfortably I recommend.

Renegade as a small first good car.
It is a decent vehicle and it is comfortable enough for everyday use. It is reliability for me is certainly good for the jeep brand. However, it is not particularly spacious especially at the back. It has a limited cargo storage. I think it is a good small first car.

Has great navigation system and sos button which helps me feel safe.
Very comfortable and reliable. Fuel efficiency is not great but it Is Doable. I haven't had any problems so far. The only issue is sometimes connecting my phone to the car play. When it gets plugged in, Does not register that it is plugged in. Overall, great vehicle and would purchase another one.

Jeep make this fun with their trademark logos you can find throughout the car.
There's only 2 cup holders, which is unfortunate, but overall I love this vehicle. It is gets good gas mileage, and is overall a safe family vehicle. The trunk has the perfect amount of space and the back seat is roomy and perfect for passengers and my child.

I love my jeep renegade 2019.
The renegade is extremely comfortable and just the right size. I love the idea of an SUV that is not a gas guzzler. It has all the newest safety features. It runs extremely well. It is a very low maintenance vehicle. I love this vehicle and will always want this vehicle as my primary vehicle.

Love the jeep and would recommend this vehicle as a great entry level jeep.
Heated seats. Touch screen has multiple glitches. There is a rattle in the exhaust that will not go away. The jeep now has 26,000 miles on it and just runs like it is better than noon. It is rough for the first 20,000 miles but once the engine brakes and it has a little bit more pep than it did off the showroom floor.

Perfect small SUV in price, dependability, and comfort!
Great little jeep! Back seat is kind of cramped for older (late teen) children as far as long car rides. Great gas mileage! Several blind spots so my teens hate driving it! But I love it and it is perfect for me long commute. We purchased this for me to be able to get around better in the winter and this did better than I expected! It is a great little SUV!

Good reliable car great for long road trips and family car.
Good car very useful for a family and long trips between states or cities nice looking car nice colors need little maintenance and very reliable with good gas consuming but after two years of owning I think it needs some work on gear it feels like weak gear sometimes and needs to be checked otherwise very good car.

Jeep renegade review 2019 brand new white.
My car has everything except for heated/cooling seats, a sunroof, but it makes up for what it lacks. It drives great and has a pretty good gas mileage, about 22 for city and 30 freeway. It is a smaller car but still fits larger items. All jeep models also have hidden easter eggs- so far I have found a spider, mini jeep, and a yeti.

Jeep renegade- jumps curbs loud beats speaker. Black interior.
My truck is comfortable. It has no issues as because I got it new of course. I love the jeep’s. I will soon be upgrading next year. It is Bluetooth makes it easy. It is roomy for my kids and car seat. I recommend anyone to get a jeep. I have jumped curbs and it does not hurt the vehicle. The speakers are very loud. The interior is detailed, black and very updated.

Love to drive my jeep renegade!
So far I am loving my jeep renegade. It takes awhile to learn about putting gas in a capless tank. Can be frustrating. It handles nicely, is easy to drive in town and on the freeway. It is comfortable front and back. It is noisy on the road, but can crank the radio to block it out. There is no CD player, but do not miss it. Service is easy. I love the looks and it is safe and fun to drive.

Renegade: the best first jeep.
This is my first jeep, and as an introductory jeep, it is the perfect blend of sport and luxury. The interior is spacious and comfortable, and no one who has sat in the back seat has ever had issues with leg room. The latitude package is great, with 4 door room and plenty of trunk space, with the back seats able to fold down for additional space. And beyond the seating, the tech inside is very innovative. Built-in apple CarPlay, air pressure gauges, cruise control, and auto air conditioning all make for a seamless driving experience.

Wonderful family vehicle!
Love my jeep renegade. It has a very comfortable ride. Great on gas mileage. More room than expected. The only things I wish it had is cooling seats and for the passenger side to have and electric seat adjustment like the driver's side. My kids love the sunroof. Jeep also has several cute easter eggs throughout the vehicle that my kids love finding. This jeep has gotten us everywhere we've needed to go without fail.

Absolutely in love with my jeep!
I absolutely love my 2019 jeep renegade! The built in GPS makes it ideal for travel! As well as the amazing amount of space for anything and everything! We love this car for adventuring and taking to the beach! The seats are easily cleaned and the tough built interior stands the test of my dog making the back seat her home! I am super happy with this purchase and honestly couldn't imagine any other vehicle for me and my family!

Perfect for me! Love my new car!
Very spacious interior without being a large vehicle. Back-up camera is super convenient. Stereo system is awesome. There's a CarPlay feature I use often. Smooth riding and quiet. Took it up in the mountains and did amazing, no issues. Only complaint is that it didn't come with a spare tire.

The four wheel drive is very easy to use and understand.
The anti roll tech in the jeep renegade is amazing. I have been t-boned by a hummer going over 70 while I was at a dead stop and my car did not roll. I love my vehicle. The apple car play allows me to do anything I need while in my car, and it allows to me maintain my safety while doing these things. The car itself is beautiful both in and out, and very functional. For as heavy as the vehicle is, I get great gas mileage, about 24 miles per gallon.

Car can be started with push start and no key.
The jeep rides very comfortable. There is a lot of room for up to 5 people. There is plenty of room in the back for groceries, etc. The back seat can be laid down to carry larger items. The engine runs smooth. Car can be started without a key. It has a remote button plus a start button inside the vehicle.

Comfort of driving jeep renegade.
I love the gas mileage. I love his free internet radio subscription for one year. I love the cruise control. I love is the SUV shape. I can easily drive it to 80 miles an hour. I like its low rpm. I love its comfortable driver seat. It came roll back and give you comfortable space and let you take a nap. It has wide headlights which are helpful in the dark previous.

The jeep renegade is a cute stylish car that is perfect for a small family.
I absolutely love my jeep renegade! It is stylish and comfortable with a big radio screen! Have had my car for almost a year and have had not one issue! The only things I wish the car had is a bigger gas storage, while it is good on gas, it just seems like I am at the gas station a lot and tinted windows.

Best Purchase You Can Make!
This car has easily been the best decision I've made in a long time. The ride is smooth, and the car itself has great features! The speedometer being both manual and digital is super helpful, the compass is great for satisfying curiosity that you didn't even know you had, and it's so inexpensive to keep up with! I filled up the other day for less than $30. The backup camera is great quality and has a very wide range; I can see things in it that I can't see in any of my mirrors! The seats are comfortable, the sound quality is phenomenal, and the AC works great! Even better, it's so easy to operate, a kindergartner could keep up with it! The seats are very easy to push down for extra trunk space, the seats and steering wheel are all adjustable, and you can adjust radio stations, volume, and even make phone calls, all with the push of an easily accessed button that has been brilliantly placed right where your hands end up on the steering wheel. There's so much more I could say about the wonders of this car, heck, I could write a thesis paper on it. If you're considering this car, stop wasting your time thinking about it and go get it!

The jeep renegade is a dream of a ride, it is the perfect adventure vehicle.
Best vehicle ever. Sporty, silent and rides exceptionally well. I love the color and the storage space and the gas mileage is great. I've been able to travel 500 miles on one tank of gas. I was super fortunate when purchasing this vehicle. The sound system is boomin' too.

19 jeep renegade latitude.
The interior is very sleek. It includes an 8 inch touch screen that is very user friendly. My jeep includes blind spot assist which I find extremely helpful. It is comfortable for shorter driving. For long distance trips the driver's seat is not as comfortable.
accountCircle Kayla S on October 31, 2020
The seats are comfortable and the front is roomy.
I love this vehicle. It is easy to maneuver, turns, parking, staying in lane. It is reliable, comfortable, and easy on gas. It is roomy for four people. The trunk could be bigger but works. My windows weren’t tinted and not top bar racks, I think that would have made it nicer. I did not get a spare tire with mine. I wish the gas tank held a little more than it does. I get about 23 mpg.
