The main good thing about owning a Jeep is that a Jeep will hold its value, so if I were looking to sell it I wouldn't be losing much. Another reason is that auto parts for my vehicle will last for a long time when taken care of properly.
Great for the winter, sturdy, removable doors, great around my horse barn, easy to maintain. Very simple car to fix, can easily google and work on yourself. Parts are extremely cheap including tires. All around my favorite model and I will be getting another.
Some cons of my vehicle is that it is fairly light and can slide easily in 2 wheel drive. Also the amount of money I spend on gas per week is insane. My jeep is not very fuel efficient and I feel like I am constantly filling up my tank even if I am not driving a lot.
Poor gas mileage. Once one thing breaks it seems like everything breaks. Doors are removable, making them thin and dangerous if you were to get t boned. Very hard to put my son in/take him out. Trunk space could be bigger and the cup holders seem impossible to clean fully.
