Great car, just a couple of minor issues with age.
I love this car. It drives really smooth and has been very reliable so far. The seats are comfortable and it is compatible with Siriusxm. I have begun to have issues with the heat not working when it gets very cold outside and the seat belt buckle came off it is bolt, but I was able to fix the buckle myself. The trunk space is great for such a 'small' car.

Interesting sounds that claim to be normal.
There is a gear sound while the car is started, that is supposedly normal. All mechanics that have looked at it say that it is normal for this make and model. It almost sounds like when kids have a hard object on their bike touching the spokes, and makes a continual ticking sound.

I purchased a pre-owned vehicle. Features it has eco mode, cruise control, and manual settings to switch over if you do not prefer automatic. It is a family friendly car and super reliable, my husband & I use the car everyday for commuting purposes and works amazingly.

It is a midsize car with standard technology accessories.
It is spacious enough for three passengers at the back. Great ac and well molded car. Decent size could be bigger but still manageable. It has a great fuel economy. Comfortable seats and great steering wheel. Overall it is a reliable and easy to use car.

Reliable, fun car with personality.
Manual transmission is sweet. The little six cylinder can handle a lot of twists, turns, and hills. The car is pretty stripped down, features-wise, but I like that. It means there's a lot less than will break on it. This car has everything you need and absolutely nothing you do not.

Kia forte car. My vehicle is a great vehicle.
My Kia forte is a great car it has good gas mileage. The car has Bluetooth place to put your aux cord and chargers. It also has a lot of compartments to put your personal things in the trunk is very spacious and so is the backseat. For being a smaller car I find it pretty big on the inside.

Great car with only one minor issue, runs great!
I have no performance or reliability issues with my car and it drives great for the price, the only issue was with the starter but that was an easy fix. The main problem was that there was a malfunction with the starter computer system but all I had to do was take it to my local car shop, who diagnosed the issue, and fixed it by bypassing the computer systems all together and installing a little button to press to start the car. It was only around $100 for the repair, and I have had no issues with the vehicle since. Aside from the normal wear and tear that you would expect from a 10 year old car.

Kia forte is an decent car for teens and young adults.
The Kia forte is a really reliable car that has been helpful to me as a college student. The gas mileage is nice and helps keep costs down. Minimal maintenance is required and I have not had any constant issue requiring trips to the mechanic. This is a good car for teens and young adults.

I love the exterior of the car and space.
I love the exterior and the amount of space the trunk as well as the back seat have it drives good never have an issue with it. The color is what makes me love this car the most it is white and with the rims and tinted window looks amazing. I wouldn't have many bad thing to say about the car I really love it is spaciousness.

Cute first time car for anyone.
My car runs great. One downside is I had to replace coolant reservoir and Kias have a very distinct reservoir you have to buy. Besides that I love it. It's got plenty of interesting features for a 10 year old vehicle. Gas mileage is great and it has a sunroof.

No problems runs hard gets me from point a to point b to and from work everywhere I need to go I recommend a Kia forte it is a small car very reliable and good on gas can save so much money I have traveled from Killeen to corpus 3 times a week and the car still has not really given my any issues.

The 2010 Kia forte is a great, reliable car that is great on gas.
This car performs very well and has very few problems. It is very comfortable and has a great sound system. The seats are very comfortable and the interior design of the car is very sleek and clean. It is a reliable car if you are doing basic driving. Would not recommend going down steep driveways and hills or mountainous areas. The aux system has a problem, I think that it is just a shorted wire.

My favorite feature about my Kia forte is the manual transmission.
The 2010 Kia forte is a great car. It is very reliable and the only issue that I have had with it is a punctured tire which has nothing to do with the quality of the car. It has everything you need. Plenty of storage in the car as well as great trunk space with foldable rear seats. The gas mileage is good as well however, it does have a pretty small tank, about 11 gallons. Other than that I have no complaint with the vehicle.

Reliable, nice economy car.
Very reliable so far, has had no problems other than maintenance despite me getting it at 130,000 miles and driving it cross country. It is pretty comfortable, although it is a budget car so after a while driving it, I can tell not much money was put into comfort.

The sedan for it all, road tripping through mountains to Midwest winters.
Car can manage well in various driving conditions (including with snow chains in the mountains). Easy to repair and never had any significant issues when kept up with regular maintenance. Currently over 100,000 miles and can be driven for much more. Would purchase another Kia.

Compact and comfortable!

I have had my car for about 9 years. It has had a few minor problems of regular wear and tear. I never thought that I would keep it after paying it off. However, it has been so reliable. It is perfect to get me to and from work each day. Definitely a great car to have as a first car.

Kia Forte is a good family car.
We bought our car used. It is a 4 door, automatic transmission car. It has been a good car, and gets pretty good mileage. About 28 miles per gallon. It now has over 100,000 miles on it and is still in good shape. We have taken it on long road trips with no problems.

2010 Kia forte review: a reliable car.
This car is very reliable. I have had it for 4 years and have never experienced any problems. It does have a hard time going up steep hills at times. It is an older model so it does not have the features like back up camera or blind spot detector. The ac has never gone out. I do have some electrical problems in my car like the cruise control does not always stick, the aux port is experiencing some issues and the tire pressure monitoring sometimes stops working on long trips.

Should you live in an area with bad winters, you will want to have a trustworthy vehicle for a winter car as this is NOT the car for you. It handle great during the summer, but NOT the winter.
My car handles really nicely in the summer. It has good gas mileage too. Unfortunately, it does not handle good at all during the winter. I'll be very happy to get this car paid off so I can get me another all wheel drive vehicle.

Kia forte 2010 review- a great little car!
I love my Kia since I got it- it is extremely reliable and dependable. It is comfy and roomy, and gets great gas mileage as well. There has been a couple recalls on it, including the rust sealant and air bags- both which were completely covered by the Kia car dealerships. I did have a leaky oil pan, but that was an easy fix. One issue that I have is that my car has a slow power steering fluid leak and that will have to be fixed eventually. Otherwise, I love my Kia and it is a great little car.

It is fun to drive for me and can carry a few friends.
It is a beautiful design. It is comfortable for me, and I'm almost always driving alone. It has good performance for a small coupe. It has enough room to carry what I want to, just about all the time. It has 10 airbags for safety. It has satellite radio. The shape of cargo spaces is a little odd, some things don't fit in as well. Some parts are showing their age, not quite as perky as when it was newer.

Great cost-effective car!
The Kia Forte is a great, long-term vehicle for people who drive a lot but do not need a large car. I have put 80k miles on it in the last 7 years and it has not had any major issues. Keeping up with oil changes and regular maintenance is very important. The gas mileage is one of my favorite perks of the vehicle, maintaining between 28-33 miles per gallon. I would definitely purchase another Kia in the future as they are a reputable and reliable company. Maintenance costs are relatively low.

I do not have any problems with it! I love that it is balanced, has cruise control, and low mileage. They have multiple cup holders. I like the middle compartment also. Good amount of trunk space. Kia forte: comfort, reliability, and easy to maintain.
This vehicle is very reliable. It is easy to perform your own maintenance, and parts are easy to find online or at any auto parts store. I have not had any major mechanical issues in the 10 years I have owned my Kia forte. My Kia gets great gas mileage and performs very well over long and short trips. Moreover, the seats are very comfortable and I am rarely uncomfortable during long drives.

The Wonderful Car Warranty is a huge selling point and encourages me to buy another when i am ready to trade in.

Not a luxury car. An average car for the average person.
It's a very middle-of-the-road kind of vehicle. It's not the flashiest car, nor is it the most drab. For me, I find that all the high tech gadgets of newer models simply distract from the vehicle itself. Personally, all I need is Bluetooth, and I am all set in regards to technology. It may be average, but it doesn't mean it's bad. The perfect car for a new driver.

All 2010 Kia forte’s are lemons.
The only lemon Kia I have ever had & I have had 7 Kia’s Inc. 2012 Kia forte. The 2010s all rusted on the bottom damaging parts: the recall was just a spray to “prevent” but no repair of damaged parts (original owner from NY) also all interior lights went out. Ac is not repairable. Freon & power steering leaks. Seats do not fold to trunk. Bluetooth only for calls. No oil gauge. Buy 2012+ forte.

Since it has a sporty engine, it may take a while to get used to accelerating properly.
I like that it is relatively small and that it has a somewhat sporty appearance to it. The only thing that bothers me is that the drivers seat does not adjust up and down so I have to sit on a pillow to get a good view over the front of the car.

I have had my Kia forte for a little over 3 years now and have had 0 issues with it. It is not the fastest car in the world, it's not the most luxurious in the world. But on the side of reliability its the best I have had. Keep your tires, oil, and other basic necessities in check and the car will treat you perfectly.

The wipers freeze on me often, or will not budge when I turn them on.
I love the ac unit, even though even on the lowest setting, it still chills my arms to the point were I either have to turn it off or put a jacket on for long car rides. It also does not blow what I consider 'ac cold' air if it is not on the "max ac" setting. The windshield wipers also freeze on me (either in the resting setting and will not move, or in the middle of the window) for long periods of time. I have yet to figure out the cause of this, but both the motor and the relay have been exchanged within the last year or so. Everything else seems pretty standard. Lots of room for a compact car in my opinion.

It is so wonderful to drive it is smooth and quiet. Is reliable and very fun. It is quirky and different. I love the shifter didn't have a button, you just slide it to shift. I love the pretty blue color and the cute horn. It is the basic model but it is so very nice.

2010 Kia forte koup, good or bad?
I love my car but I am not attached to it. The break pads always seem to be going bad and it messes the rotors up sometimes which can be annoying. There also seems to be a knocking in the engine that does not seem to go away or cause any problems. But on the other hand it has great cloth interior and a nice Bluetooth radio. And a great stock sound system. There are pros and cons but all in all it is a great car!

My reliable mode of transportation.
Very reliable and trustworthy. Handles extremely well and is terrific on gas, gets about 38 miles to the gallon. Its our travel vehicle by choice because of the comfort of the seats. The air conditioner works great on those hot humid days. Very trustworthy brake system, I have never experienced any scary moments with them. They have always been reliable.

I got this vehicle as a second hand car and it has almost 120 thousand miles. It has had some issues with many parts being replaced but after a 6 month period of replacements, it has been incredibly reliable ever since and remains a consistent everyday car.

Kia forte - good reliable car.
This car is great on gas and it fits in tiny parking spots. I haven't had any major issues with the car. It has been reliable and I can take it anywhere to get fixed. The car is older, but it would be great to have a backup camera. Biggest issue is that the Bluetooth works for calls but not for music and I have never been able to figure out why.

It is smooth, especially on the interstate. It is easy on gas. It has been really reliable, especially when compared to other vehicles I have owned. I would definitely buy another one like it in the future. An electric car might be the only car I would consider over this one, it just depends. Way to small for a family of four with two car seats in the back. Not much leg room up front. Love that it has Bluetooth and can call from car. Has aux and two chargers. Trunk is spacious when you do not keep things in it that you do not need. Car performance is great saves on gas.

It fits our family with one child of five years old.
I think it handles pretty well. It can swerve quickly to avoid and accident. I do like the Bluetooth compatibility. I feel like there isn't much of a blind spot when changing lanes. There has been some electrical issues with the breakers burning out for the turn signals pretty quickly. I also think that the carpet under the drivers feet has worn pretty quickly compared to other vehicles I have owned.

Kia forte - your money's worth and then some.
I have 183,000 miles on my car and it still runs like it is brand new. I have kept up with routine maintenance. I have had two recalls, which were fixed in very little time. The only thing that went out was the radio, so I cannot use the steering wheel features, but that is okay, and the button for the driver's side window will occasionally stay in the down position. Love my car.

Gas mileage is good, size is okay, and comfort is okay.
Some of the vehicle problems I have with the vehicle is the comfort when driving on the freeway. When driving on the freeway you can feel the wind, or the vehicle starts shaking due to the speed. You cannot go faster than 80mph. The vehicle is a v4 and is slow to pick up speed. Some of the benefits is the gas the vehicle saves is great for city miles, and only takes about $25.00 to fill up completely. The comfort, with a 2 years old is okay, a little more space in the back seat would be ideal. Being in the front seat you don't feel as crowded.

Kia Forte koup has lighted speakers
The Kia Forte is a fast car, it's reliable. Mine has heated leather seats which are awesome in the winter, but can be awful in the summer. An all black interior with leather seats get really hot. It has cold ac. It doesn't handle bumps too well and does have some minor electrical problems like window problems and a fuse problems in the cigarette lighters and aux plugins. If you're looking for a fast car that looks nice a Kia Forte would be the way to go

Kia forte 2010, smooth runner, and has Bluetooth. Say what!
I love how car comes with Bluetooth, I am able to travel with my car, fit my kids in my car, and overall have a smooth experience driving. The seats are very comfortable and the car is spacious. The air conditioning is also amazing. Only problem I had is problems that came from buying it used, if I had bought it brand new the car would be perfect. It was my first purchase of a car, and compared to all other cars I have been in this one runs the best.

That it is a very reliable car and I am very happy with it.
I haven't really had problems with my car. It is a good reliable car picks up and goes when you need it to very good on gas. It is good for traveling comfortable seating and also hands free talking on the phone I love that and it is a lot safer. It has plug-ins for your phone's and portable DVD players love that for the kids. The only thing I don't like about the plug-ins is there's none in the back seat or air vents. Overall I love the car very happy I am glad I got it very happy with reliability performance and everything else.

My vehicle is a really nice model and year Kia. I find that it really meets my mileage needs. I drive very often, it is my daily driver. My normal drives average no less than 15 minutes, and I often take drives that take over 9 hours. I depend on this car to carry me safely through each Journey, and she delivers. The gas mileage averages around 30 mpg. The car is also a very comfortable drive, smooth on the road. One of my favorite features of my car is the turn radius. She can pull a u turn in the tightest of places and maneuvers very softly. My brakes are very responsive and have never had problems there. I really have an appreciation for how my car drives. It is a very light car and handles precisely and very quickly. If you are not so use to driving quick response cars this one could get ahead of you a little bit. I really like this car a lot.

Kia forte 10 years old and still going strong.
Had for 10 years bought brand new. Has not given me any mechanical problems except having to replace fuel pump. Overall a great vehicle. The car is great on gas too. It is fully loaded and has Sirius radio equipped also. Very comfortable too. And great room.

It is not good when there is several inches of snow on the ground.
This vehicle is the right size for me. I like the gas mileage. The big complaint that I have is in the winter. The car has no stability in the snow. If there is a lot of snow the car does not want to move so it is very easy to get stuck.

How compact is too compact?
The 2010 Kia forte is not a sedan, it is a compact car however it is a bit too compact there's no headroom if you are over 6 foot, very little leg room and even if you have two people in the backseat you'll always feel uncomfortably close to them. Other than that it is a fairly reliable car other than the fact that it always feels like you'll have to replace the brakes a bit sooner than you feel like you should.

A few times my horn wont blow, the door open icon does not display on the light board, inner brake lights went out, sound aux port stop working properly and there were 5 recalls so far. Other than those problems i have no other complaints.
High reliability with minor problems and a lot of recalls.

There is a louder than normal amount of noise coming from the road through the bottom of the car, not horrible but can be annoying.
Great vehicle, compact size but very spacious inside. Nice sound system, comfortable seats, large trunk. Only small complaint is more road noise than other cars.

10 year vehicle, still good enough to compete with newer models.
It is a 5 speed manual which apparently is becoming less common. Or has everything that I need, except ac. Not bad if the weather is cooler but a pain in the summer. I have had this vehicle for 10 years, and it is not caused me grief. Just typical wear and tear on it and it still drives nicely.

It is very low to the ground and it vibrates when you go fast.
It is small and I don't really like the color, good on gas though. It gets me from place to place just fine but I would prefer to have something bigger.

2010 Kia forte- great car with great gas mileage.
My vehicle is a good vehicle. I bought it in 2011 new. I now have 220,998 miles on it. The only maintenance I have done is minor, brakes, fluids, etc. I replaced the battery and alt. Once. My fault, I left the light on and the battery was 10 years old and drained the alt. The reliability and gas mileage is great. I get 32 miles to the gallon. As far as comfort goes, it is good, but could be better. A tall person might feel cramped behind the driver's seat.

The most important thing you should know is that it is a good car.
I like that it has good speakers. I do not like that it has roll-up windows. I also do not like that the gas goes away fast and the car has a lot of problems.

Kia: issues and likes of car.
My vehicles sound system does not work properly. The USB charger does not work and the aux is not working properly. There are also issues with my check engine light. My tires are also losing pressure quickly. The tires are brand new. The car has minor issues but I guess I can make it work.

The Perfect Car for First Time Drivers
The 2010 Kia Forte is a good starting car for teens or first-time drivers. The Bluetooth feature is very helpful for maintaining focus while driving.

Best car I have had so far!
The only problems I have had are just regular maintenance. It is the best car I have had for reliability. It is dependable and comfortable. I have taken it on long trips and have had no problems. It is the most reliable car I have had so far. For my last four cars they have all been Kias and I would definitely buy another Kia.

Great, reliable, efficient, and fun!
Car is super reliable and fun to drive. Nice smooth ride and does decently well on gas. Seats are comfortable and make for a nice ride as well. Bluetooth is okay, I however wish I could control my music from the cars interface, not on my phone. Lights around the speakers create a nice ambiance when going on drives, especially at night.

Very reliable fast sporty looking just all around a very cool car.
I really love that very reliable fast driving smooth. The gas mileage both on highway and in city is fantastic. The sound system is beyond fantastic! Clear sound. The car is very comfortable easy to navigate between features. The only problem is that the USB connection does not support the latest phones.

I bought it used so it didn't come with the original radio or Bluetooth.
I really never had any problems with it. Unfortunately, I started to hear a ticking in the engine. I waited too long to get it checked out and now I need to get a new engine. It runs smooth and is a very comfy car to drive. The trunk is pretty big compared to other cars.

Underestimate a forte if you think.
Kia forte is an excellent starter car for a college student. Car runs smooth and fast. My 2010 Kia forte has been reliable since day one. I haven't had any issues after having bought it last march so a little over a year. I enjoy the sunroof which gives so much wind without the windows down.

Great vehicle for the price.
I love my Kia forte because it's very economical as far as gas mileage. I can fill it up and it will last all week. It's a lot of car for the price. Plenty of room for five people. It has a nice CD player as well as Bluetooth and adapter to plug in my own phone to listen to my personal list of music. I have plenty of trunk space for those mountain trips. It drives very well in the mountains and can get down most of the tight roads up there with no problem. It's a great car with extras for the price.

My vehicle is interesting because the inside is black and burgundy.
My car has lasted a pretty long time for it to be a Kia. I have had a few things break that have had to be replaced but nothing major. I take very good care of my car which is why it has lasted me so long.

Overall reliable and safe vehicle.
I have really had no major problems with this car. It has 170k miles on it. Purchased with 10k. The biggest issue right now is some electrical issues. Which cause the turn signals to go out and the brake lights have before. Also the cruise control has completely went out. Overall it has been a good vehicle. And even not that difficult to get two car seats into.

Kia is a good company. I am very satisfied with Kia.
I've never experienced any problems with my car. It's been good to me all these years. It was the 1st forte of its generation. Its 9 years old with 96k miles. I've replaced the tires once and keep up on maintenance. I highly recommend Kia fortes or Kia products period.

Kia forte Koup has been realizable for 10 years.
My 2010 Kia forte Koup has been very reliable over the last 10 years. There has been little to no problems with its performance. The car has performed well, gets decent gas mileage and looks nice. After 10 years of a long commute, it has held up nicely. I have had a belt that needed replaced but only after having a fender bender.

Bluetooth audio within the car, and handling of the vehicle.
I love my car the only thing I wish it would have is Bluetooth audio. Yes the car has Bluetooth but you cannot play music through this feature, it is only meant for calling. The car has a great surround sound system, but I do wish sometimes that my car is four wheel drive.

My car is great and I would love to get a newer Kia forte.
The car has a great gas mileage mine does not have power windows or locks and that is a hassle sometimes the trunk it is very spacious and the back seat has an armrest with cup holders . On the other hand this car is not very aerodynamic you can feel every breeze while driving,

2010 Kia forte: extremely reliable.
This vehicle is extremely reliable. I haven't had any problems with it, and I couldn't see myself in a different car. I highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a good everyday car. It is just great all around, and I could see myself purchasing it again.

Perfect car for someone who is always on-the-go.
This is a great car for someone that is always on the go! It has always been reliable and gets great gas mileage, both highway and high traffic city areas. It is a 4 cylinder, and does have very little pick-up, though once you get cruising it has no problem keeping up. It rides fairly smoothly but you will feel it when the road is bumpy. While my car is considered fully loaded, with power windows and such, it does not have any of the fancy touch screens that some of the newer models do. However, it does have Bluetooth enabled phone and different ports for audio, iPhone, and USB. The front seats are actually quite roomy and there are tons of little compartments for easy storage. The back seat however is very tight and not very comfortable for backseat passengers. The trunk is very deep and surprisingly spacious for the car size.
