I mean..It's been a great vehicle for me. I've had it for a few years now and have racked up over 100k miles in it. But it still works like a charm. Very reliable and comfy. It does its job well. Good gas mileage too. The only 'con' that I can really think of is the size of the vehicle. But again, you know going in that it's not great in that area. It is what it is. Very solid car. Id recommend to anyone.

Great Kia forte a family car.
The Kia forte is my first car I have ever owned. It is perfect for me and my daughter. It runs very well and great on gas. As a therapist I travel a lot to and from client homes and this car gets me there and back. I would really recommend it for first or second time car buyers.

It's an older car with a lot of potential.
Though my car is an older model it still does the job well. It's great with gas on long trips. Plenty of space for groceries. I wouldn't change anything about my car. Some people might think it's old I think it's fine just the way it is. It has a CD player and Bluetooth capability.

Reliable, gas saver, inexpensive cost!
My Kia forte is amazing on gas, reliable, and inexpensive with parts and regular maintenance. There is a lot of trunk room surprising for such a small car. This is also a great starter car for a teenager or a gas saver car. Only thing I had an issue with was the factory radio going out on me. Which upon research I found many articles of this being a known issue on the make and model and year of my car.

Great car for an older girl.
Sometimes the Bluetooth does not connect to my phone call. Radio settings galore! A few factory recalls nothing major. Steering wheel issues but it was an easy and cheap fix. Drives well, good on gas, a great little day to day car. Still has a CD player and a key to start instead of a push to start.

My 'made for me' Kia forte.
I absolutely love my forte! It's comfortable and for me it rides perfectly. Its black on the outside with grey cloth interior, which doesn't get too hot in the sun. The gas mileage is outstanding! I have had no major issues, I have only had to repair things that because of age were sue to be fixed anyway. I honestly believe I have finally found the absolute perfect car for me and as long as it keeps running I will keep on driving it!

Acts like an SUV without being the size of an SUV.
Spacious interior considering overall size of the vehicle. Love having the hatchback feature and back seats that fold down. I've been able to fit so much furniture in my car. Very few problems with the car bought it used about 3 years ago and have put less than $2000 into it, that includes new tires. I've taken it on 3 separate multi state road trips and had no issues during any of the trips. I average around 28 miles per gallon which is good considering how much of a drive thru person I am.

Fuel efficiency is great but the vehicle is starting to fall apart after 6 years of use. The paint is chipping and the ac is starting to have issues.

I love my car. It hold up really well. I've had it for 6 years and only had regular oil changes, new brakes once and a new set of tires. I like the compartments and I feel the cupholder is in a perfect spot. It has a spacious trunk, good sound system and is great on gas. My only concern is the road. You can feel every pebble on it so it doesn't make for a smooth ride. Pick and choose your battles.

I love my car I've had it for about less than 6 years and it still great.
After 5 years that when things started to go down hill but I love the car never gave me problems. The brand I have is good brand people should invest in Kia. It drives well. They also have 10 years warranty on engine. The performance is spectacular. No need to think about it just buy one.

Sporty hatchback for the mature generation.
I have had my car three years and it has been reliable and very low maintenance, oil and a front signal light is all that the car has needed in three years. It's a hatchback which I love when I go shopping for ease of load and unloading. I have the sx which is the sport edition and the car does have a sporty hatchback look to it.

People should know that it is a very reliable car and that it will last longer if you take it to the dealership to get fixed and worked on.
I love the amount of space that my car has. While it is a compact car, it does not feel like it. There is enough space to breath and not feel cramped when others are in the car with you.

My 2012 Kia forte is an excellent car.
It rides well for an older car, no problems so far except headlights are a bit dim. Car handles nicely, good on gas... Does not consume to much and I work pretty far from my home. Brakes feel solid, radio is a bit dated with a CD player and no real interface with my iPhone but like I mentioned before car is solid.

My car is a hand-me-down, so my problems most likely do not reflect the car's best performance. The battery dies frequently and is constantly in need of recharging or replacement. Other than this one problem, it gets me from a to b and had good mileage.

A value reliable car that is inexpensive to maintain that offers decent size.
The car has had no problems what so ever. We have owned the car for almost eight years as of today and the only thing we have had to replace was the tires this year. Gas mileage on the freeway is exceptional, but gas mileage in the city is subpar. Oil changes at Kia dealerships is relatively inexpensive.

With the Kia forte you really get a bang for your buck.
I really love my Kia forte. It is great on gas and very durable. This car is a little small so I wouldn't recommend it for a large family because there is not a lot of space in the car or trunk. However the car it is self is a great buy. You really get your money's worth. The Kia forte will last the driver a while and is inexpensive on gas and maintenance is easy.

Engine light keeps coming on. Dealer said nothing is wrong after checks. The vehicle works well, battery changed once, very reliable car. The seats are very comfortable, air bags needed changing according to Kia. They will change for free. Ac and abs works well.

This car has never given me any real issues. I recently had to charge the spark plugs on it for a misfire but its at around 150k miles so a little natural wear is going to happen. Other than that no issue. Good on gas and gets up and goes for a 4-cylinder.

If I could have a do over, I wouldn't get the Kia forte.
I have replaced my engine due to a faulty timing belt. Prior to being stranded on the road and dropping 2,000 on a new engine, the only issue I have had with the forte is once one exterior light goes out there’s at least one more that goes out. I have to replace headlight bulbs & turn signal bulbs every few months.

I like that it has a very spacious trunk, so going on road trips is easier.
This is a very reliable car and has pretty good gas mileage for how old it is. It looks more modern than older cars usually look. The air conditioning and heat flows well; however, it is harder to feel it in the back so I would prefer better circulation.

Kia forte is a great car.
The car is very nice size wise. I am able to fit into tighter spots, but it could ride smoother. The seats are fairly comfortable but the visibility is a little limited because the windows are smaller. The gas mileage is great and overall I really like my car.

A smooth ride and reliable vehicle.
There is an issue with the passenger airbag that the manufacturers know about—I got a recall notice. It gets decent gas mileage, but the mpg decreases as you put miles on the car. Most of the issues I have had have not been the car itself but various accessories and tires.

The car is fast and can be parked anywhere. Great for long distance travel.
The car is very economical. It gets great mileage and is reliable. I have had ankle of issues with the tires. All 4 tires have been replaced 2-3 times because they are very thin. Also the lighting in the car is ant good. I have had to change and repair my front and brake lights every time after a bad storm. Could be a leak or an electrical wiring issue.

Reliability in small commutes: Kia forte.
Breaks usually need to be checked often, really comfortable for 4 people (including the driver), but 5 can fit in the car. Accelerator is very rough to deal with, but overall great performance over short drives. Do not recommend for long, distance road trips or for considerable commutes.

The ease of owning a Kia.
This is my second Kia. I love the ease of driving this car and the fabric seats are easy to clean. I find that the Kia brand is reliable. The only problem I am having is with my windows. Only one will roll down. My car is fully loaded and, although I do not use all of the features, it is nice to have them if needed.

Kia forte 2012 ex sedan grey review/recommended.
I have enjoyed my 2012 Kia forte ex for the most part. The interior is average nothing special, the seats are a bit stiff but the wheel is comfortable. The display is clear and bright red. There are radio/volume/cruise control buttons on the wheel. The speedometer reads 140 but I personally know the car will not go above 120, I have tried. I currently have 80, 000 miles on my car and have no issues other then normal wear and tear such as brakes and tires. I have traveled the country with this car as far west as Colorado and I am from New York. Great gas mileage. I'd recommend this car to any buying a first car.

There have been some recalls on my vehicle, however; I have not had any problems with the recalled parts. I love my Kia, it is reliable, safe, and fuel efficient. My best vehicle purchase ever made.
It is been a beautiful car. The response of acceleration is beyond my scope. Braking is excellent even at high speeds. My issue with it now is that the turn signal and brake lights go out randomly, but other than that reliable. The sound system is not what I truly would want in terms of loudness, but it is sufficient for a trip with the windows rolled up while ac on.

Car is comfortable, reliable and great on gas!
I purchased my 2012 Kia forte sedan used for a steal! It has been so good to me since. We were having trouble with the battery dying in the beginning. Turn out the tiny light under the cosmetic mirror is just very sensitive and would turn on by accident. The car makes a rattling sound but has been inspected by a mechanic on several occasions and they can't seem to find the source. The radio was not working when we purchased the vehicle and it turns out that it is a very common issue.

Safe, simple, reliable: 1 small glitch.
Since buying the Kia forte in 2012 I have felt safe. The car is simple and reliable. I take it for regular oil changes and maintenance and have had no major issues. There seems to be one default in the front right side blinker. I take to get it fixed and it is replaced and within a few days, it starts to blink fast letting me know there is a short.

I do not have any issues with my car especially considering it was a used car. It is very good on gas. On average it takes me $20 to fill my tank. As far as mileage, I live in Petersburg va and it only takes a quarter tank to get to dc. I plan on keeping this car and buy another one just because this car is great for everyday use.

2012 Kia forte: my best car.
I bought my car used, with a dent on the passenger side back door. It has ~112,000 miles on it. Runs with at least 20 mpg. I have had no problems with the engine, or any part of the internal part of the car. Runs smoothly, and has never broken down. In the three years of owning this car the only thing I have had to replace are the brake lights and headlights.

I drove from Texas to Nebraska on only 2 tanks of gas.
My car has gotten lots of hail damage and weather damage from snow. I like the car other than that it gets great gas mileage and has all of the standard features. The sunroof is probably my favorite feature. The car was used when I bought it so it did include a few upgrades from previous owner.

My review on Kia forte 2012 ex.
I bought my 2012 forte brand new. It is still going at 190k miles. I had to replace the pulleys which were loud and going bad at about 120k. Recently, I replaced the steering bar and bushings because they had worn out. Other than that, this car has given me absolutely no problems. I have maintained it and its runs great and looks good. I plan on driving this car until the wheels fall off. So far it looks like that is going to be for a really long time. Love this car!

Kia forte-. A great fuel efficient vehicle.
I have had no mechanical problems with vehicle aside from having to replace o2 sensors which caused engine light to come on. Once these sensors were replaced engine light went off. I get great gas mileage on vehicle 32 mpg and 25 dollars fills up my tank. Seat warmers make for comfortable and relaxing ride. Bluetooth as well as great sound system. My car gets great gas mileage on the highway and excellent horsepower. Hatchback trunk allows for great storage space when grocery shopping. Have kept up routine maintenance on car and change air filter every 3 months.

College kids practical buy.
Car is perfect for first time cars or a college student. Great on gas. You cannot really notice how fast you are going this car has some speed to it for a v4. You can easily seat 5 in this 4 door vehicle. Parking is also super easy with it being able to fit almost everywhere.

Engine failed at less than 100,00 miles. Very comfortable. Heated seats come in handy during cold months. Gas is okay not the best. Love my coupe and it is compact size. The car has a very sleek design. Not the best car if you have a family with younger children due to it being a 2 door car.

Very reliable, cheap maintenance, great gas mileage. I have driven my forte almost 10,000 miles in 4 months and haven't had any issues at all. I pay about $25 to fill up and that lasts about two weeks on average, usually more. It is a great car, surprisingly roomy trunk, comfortable to drive long distances in.

It is not the smoothest ride. I had to replace brakes before 30k miles. After my first Kia I said I wouldn't buy another and I did, but now I mean it, I will never buy a Kia again.. Too many things had to be replaced. I will say my Kia service dept is friendly and helpful.

2012 forte, a reliable little car.
My forte has a manual transmission. I have 130000 miles on it with the only work being done that wasn't routine was a wheel bearing. Fuel economy has degraded about 15-20 percent from wear and tear, but overall it has been very reliable. Comfort is not fantastic, but I do not expect it from an economy car.

This car is reliable and the fairly affordable as far as maintenance. The sound system is great and even offers Bluetooth. Comfortability is not the highest due to it being 2 door so it is a little cramped but I am okay with it and it surprisingly still provides enough leg room for 6 footers sitting in the backseat—a little crammed and not the most comfy but it is manageable.

Great car when I got it in 2018. Now always something with it. Car radio broke, needs brakes, lights go out, power cable to battery corroded. I am paying for a problem. If you purchase a Kia I hope you test it and get a full blown warranty. I have one but never seems to be covered.

It is a great little compact car and great on gas.
I have had the car for about 8 years. It ran really well for a long time until this year. When one thing goes wrong tons start to. It is been a little frustrating. There are wiring issues my lights keep going out brake lights and headlights. My transmission is acting up. This is not a lack of me taking care of it either. I am not sure what’s going on.

It doesn't have automatic locks or windows. It has about 95k miles, and I haven't had any problems with it except for a leaking AC hose and the battery going out. I wish the radio was louder, although I can say that it has pretty good bass for the speakers just being stock. Good car. Can't really complain much.

What it's like to have Kia forte!. It's great locally, not good long distance!
I really do like my Kia forte. I just wish it was a little bigger for what I need. It's not the most comfortable vehicle for long drives. It's hard on your back at least coming from the drivers standpoint. It's not good for putting car seats in and out of course it's just too small. As far as how it runs. It's the best car I have ever had on gas mileage. I have had my 2012 for 2 years now and it runs good I have not had any issues other than normal stuff, brakes, wiper blades, oil change. Well at least til now my radio recently quit working and we cannot figure out why. All fuses were checked and everything but can't figure it out. Runs very smoothly and has a good size trunk holds a lot more than I ever thought. I would say this is a good car for anyone who does not plan on driving long distances because it's uncomfortable. But it's good around town and local driving it's a good car for that.

The car is really good on gas, drives really nice, hugs the curves, able to pass without trouble looks nice and sporty and we haven't had to fix anything on it except brake lights, could be more comfortable seats are not that great. Has hands off settings for phone calling. The one thing that is really great has a really big trunk.

Great reliable daily driver.
It is an extremely reliable vehicle with few mechanical problems. It is quiet and runs smoothly and gets great gas mileage. It is very comfortable even on long road trips. The sound system works great, although I dislike that the Bluetooth feature does not work for playing music, but the hands free calling is a great feature. The USB port also has stopped working although the auxiliary hookup still works great.

The perks of the Kia forte.
It gets really good mileage and drives smoothly both on the interstate and in town. The gas mileage is up to par and does not take much to fill at all. There's plenty of room in the vehicle, I travel with all the time and my particular model has Bluetooth.

This car has been the best family friendly option.
The space inside our car is very spacious and allows us to get any child car seat inside with ease. Gas miles are very low cost with the ability to have a great audio and ability to obtain a new technology from within to have my controllers on the steering wheel for quick access. The steal when buying this car was unreal for how little up keep it requires.

I'm very tall, and this car is good for tall drivers like me. But there's not a lot of room in the back seat when my seat is pushed back.
I like that there's a lot of cargo space and it's comfortable to drive. It seems relatively reliable. I wish it got better gas mileage.

It has over 100, 000 miles on it and run like new.
I love this car. The interior is clean and simple. The seats are very comfortable. The exterior shape is clean. The car is slower than I personally like. I have not had any serious problems with this car and have owned it for 2 years now. The gas mileage is amazing.

Reliable. Going strong after 6 years.
The car runs well, and has been very reliable. I don't usually do too much car work, but for me, it's really easy to change out the headlight bulbs, headlight, battery, and fuses. I feel like Kia has really made things user friendly. They even include a little tool, which is hidden next to the battery, for unloading the fuses. The only complaint I really have is that the car doors are rather heavy, and they seem to always shut on me if I'm not quick enough while entering the car. I've had the car for 6 years now, have taken to the dealership routinely for maintenance, and have not yet run into any problems.

I really love the 2-door feature.
It is quite small especially for my husband when drives it. I like the interior and that it looks classy because of its 2-door feature. I got the silver color and love that it looks small but the trunk has too much space for me to put my groceries and other stuff. My husband also puts his shoes. In it for basketball, and I am amazed that it still has enough space to other stuff.

I love the center console! I can fit so much stuff in there it's crazy!
The car runs really well. Never had a problem with the windows (was a big issue with my last car) and the engine purrs like a cat. The car was preowned and the previous owner always took it into the shop to have work done so everything is still under warranty.

Know what you're getting into.
Dashboard needs updating, hard to read in harsh lighting. Shift gear gets locked often. Fabric on the chairs picks up diets easily. Dashboard burns and bubbles in heat. Doors take a while to unlock. A/c does not have strong air flow throughout the car.

Nice, dependable and safe vehicle.
Reliable, mpg is not as advertised, varied electronic issues- interior light, hatch control out and there is no secondary option for opening the trunk. The moon roof continues to work excellent. The USB port does not function as a charger for my electronic devices.

A reliable vehicle with incredible space.
I love my car. It has a great amount of space for me and my two dogs. The sound system in the car is incredible. I have had my car for around three years and have never experienced any major problems with the car. It is very reliable and I recommend it to anyone.

Safe, reliable, great starter car.
Great car, not too big or small, pretty good handling. Love my stereo, it really booms. Sometimes not great in inclement weather. Have had it for 5 years and still going strong!

The number one thing about the Kia forte 2012 car that I absolutely positively love is how much gas it saves! Not only that it is super comfortable to ride in it gives you 80 miles of eco which is not bad at all! I would definitely recommend this car to anyone who asks me about it.

The vehicle is great comfortable and has plenty of storage.
Car runs great. Could use some more arm support in the seats. I love the trunk it is a great size plenty of room. All the features that came with the car work great. I have had no issues as far as how it runs. The storage in the center and glove compartment are both good I love the two slots in the center.

Great and inexpensive ride for someone on a tight budget.
I love my Kia Forte. It is a four door sedan, and gets great gas mileage. I also love my satellite radio system that comes standard from the factory.

My car is a thunderbolt of joy.
The car still runs smooth. Haven't had any car problems since the 3 years I have owned it. I like that I can plug an aux cord to the radio. The car has satellite radio that I really enjoy and provide lots of different radio stations. I like the color of the car which is silver.
