Undrivable
My car has been in the shop 7 times for jerking, surging, failure to accelerate, clunking upon acceleration, poor gas mileage, revving, burning odor and now it’s back with the “transmission Temp is high” warning light coming on while driving.

Kia Niro, fun & environmentally friendly.
I love my Kia Niro. Not only does it get great mileage, it is zippy and fun to drive. I live on a very curvy, hilly road, and I feel safe and in control in all kinds of weather. I highly recommend adding the technology package because the blind spot indicator is super helpful. I really like the adaptive cruise control too, especially for long trips.

The reliability of the Kia Niro.
My Kia Niro is extremely reliable. I use it every day and I have not experienced any problems with it yet! The touch screen control center is extremely helpful and I love how modern it is. The interior is sleek and comfortable. The driving itself is incredibly smooth and makes easy turns. I love that it has a backup camera which makes it easier for me to back in and out of spaces!

Eco friendly efficient comfort.
The comfort of this car is amazing! The size is nice and convenient. Not to big and not to small, right in the middle. It has really good gas mileage and is really efficient. There’s and eco mode that helps conserve energy and feels great to use as it is more eco friendly.

It is a great gas saver. A must buy car.
I love my Kia Niro lx. I love the ac features. The ac adjusts to whatever the climate is outside without you having to change the settings yourself. I enjoy the entertainment features also. The radio has a feature for your android or iPhone. Great car to invest in if you travel a lot.

Comfortable drive with amazing bells and whistles.
The comfort of this vehicle is amazing. Interior is quite large, with plenty of legroom in the front and back seats. Tech features are really nice, with the screen places well on the dash and android auto capability works seamlessly. Driving assist is also really great with lane keep, backup alerts and auto cruise control on longer road trips is a must.

Really reliable family car.
Reliable, great gas mileage. Has never broken down on us. Dashboard is easy to use. Have not have any electrical problems like other hybrid cars. Can only fit two car seats in the back. Great for road trips. Truck space is big enough to fit a stroller plus groceries.

A great compact SUV hybrid option.
We really like our Kia Niro! It is a good size for our life. It fits a rear facing car seat and stroller comfortably. The hybrid feature is fantastic! We average 45-50 mpg, and only fill up once a week. The interior is durable and easy to clean. I especially love how fast the climate adjusts!

Overall I really love my car! There are great features like apple carplay and the gas mileage is amazing. I love the size of the car and it is very spacious on the inside. My car is still under manufacturer warranty and I have had to take it into the shop two times to get things fixed.

Gas Sipper goes from Florida to Missouri
The gas mileage is wonderful and when you put the car in sport it has a lot of oomph! I drove from Florida to Missouri and only spent $50 getting there. The only thing I would change is to add more trunk space. If I could afford another Niro I'd buy one tomorrow.

In summary, take off slower if possible and keep your scheduled maintenance.
The problems with this vehicle is the performance aspect, the take off is slow. Also, driving long distances especially with hills seems like it put a strain on your transmission. I usually put it in sport mode, but you use more gas. Aside from that, the vehicle is comfortable and reliable if you keep the scheduled maintenance.

Kia Niro touring 2018 with 18” wheel, great gas mileage.
The Kia Niro is amazing, best car I have ever owned. It is got everything on it that you could want, including sunroof. It is considered a small SUV but because of the 18” wheels it does sit a little higher than most of the niro’s. The one we have is a Niro touring! Great gas mileage, get 500 miles on a tank of gas. It is very sporty looking and since we've had it for two years now, nothing has gone wrong with it! Runs perfect. We leased it for three years, but next year we will buy it outright. Too good of a car not to keep. It is a very comfortable car to drive and easy to drive.

Niro hybrid - best car ever!
I love my Kia Niro. I get about 515 mpg. It is a hybrid vehicle so it is very efficient. It's roomy! I would consider it a small SUV. I feel safe in my car at all times. The only downside is you have to leave the car on if you park and want to listen to music or talk with friends.

Cheap or expensive hybrid purchase.
The gas mileage averages 50 mpg. It is a nice car but after having it a while it has started to be much more noisy. I prefer very quiet cars over hearing road noise. Kia service is terrible. I like my car but next time I will get a more expensive car.

Great car! Needs a few adjustments.
Has great gas mileage as well as being a very smooth ride. The gas and brake are very touchy. This took some time to get use to. Also, when trying to speed up from completely stopped it seems to struggle. The carpet started coming up in the back almost as soon as we got it home. I have to make sure that I am returning the carpet under the plastic on the sides all the time.

This a great road trip car, great on gas. Roomy car for a hybrid.
This is more of a car not a CUV. Great on gas, have taken this car on many road trips and is very comfortable ride. A lot more roomy that you would think. We have had two fifty pound boxers and our luggage in the car and still has room to move. The car is easy to keep clean. Even though it only has around 130 combined horsepower still has a lot of get up and go. Way more that the Kia should that I had before. Also for all that you get one the car it is at a great price point.

My Kia Niro hybrid is a great car.
I love my Niro. It is hybrid so I seldom stop for gas and get over 500 miles to a fill up. It is comfortable, has a great sound system and is a very responsive car to drive. Handles well in wet or dry weather and is great in the snow. And my husband is well over 6 feet tall and he fits comfortably in the car. It is got great cargo space and I am able to fit anything I need into the back, especially because the back seats fold down. I am so happy I have this car.

The Niro is an efficient car for concerns for the environment and money.
The Kia Niro provides a comfortable ride and is easy to drive. It is the perfect size of vehicle to park and maneuver in. The 50 to 58 miles per gallon I consistent get is great for having an economical car to drive. It is a hatchback so provides a nice area in the back for groceries, etc. The climate control is operated by one button for driver and one for passenger rather than n temp and fan separately.

Great gas mileage great of 58 mpg in city and 50 on the highway.
I love my gas mileage. In the city I get between 50. And 58 miles a gallon. It runs smooth and is very quiet. It has pick up when I need it. The interior is roomy and nice. I like the back up camera which helps a lot. All of the dials and buttons are within easy reach. It has a lot of room for carrying goods and with the seats down there is even more.

Hybrid system collapses when it gets wet and the car do not work until it dries.
The biggest problem I find is that when the hybrid systems get wet, the car does not work, it is comfortable, cheap in gasoline, but expensive in oil change and maintenance, I advise not to drive due to accumulations of water, why the hybrid system collapses.

High performance and safety.
It gets great gas mileage in city and even better on highway. The Niro has keyless start which is very convenient and it is so quiet when you turn it. Another nice feature is a dinging noise it makes when you are in reverse that people can hear on the outside of the car. I guess this is to make sure pedestrians in a parking lot know you are backing out.

I love our car. It fits the rear facing car seat comfortably. It may not be as comfortable for tall people, over 6 feet. I do wish it was just a tad bigger. The hybrid gets excellent gas mileage. Better in the city, than highway. We've had it almost 3 years and have not had any problems. We keep up with the regular service visits. The seats are a great fabric/leather mix. The Kia Niro is an eco friendly hatchback that has driven its way into my heart.
Main problem: if you buy the roof racks, they make a horrible whistling noise. Also be sure to have the insurance on them because parts can/will fall off. Everything else about the Kia Niro is amazing. I love that it can go off road, and that it handles really well. What sold it to me is that is does not look like a 'mom-mobile' but has a 5 star safety rating, and can easily fit 3 car seats if need be. It has a quiet engine, most of the time you drive in eco mode, and I have even got the gas mileage up to 84 mpg and it is not a plug in. It is a hybrid! Overall I honestly love this car and would not change anything (other than color) about it.

The Niro is a good car to own.
I absolutely love my car. It handles very well on ice and snow. There is more legroom than one would expect from looking at it from the outside. It is heated seats make it nice and toasty on those cool days and nights. The gas mileage is very impressive. The GPS is very handy to help you get to your destination. The hands free feature is great so do not have to handle holding phone with calls. The speakers work well for factory system. I have used this car to pack tons of things in. It is a small SUV that is surprisingly roomy. There is one thing I have had to get used to. While driving the car, there is some outside noise you can hear. I just turn on the radio and then do not hear it anymore. This car is a hybrid, so it is gas and electric. When the car starts there is a sound like the car is revving up, but then it quits. While the car is driving, the motor is quiet and so to let people know the car is on there is a sound of like the car is on. It sounds like a car on those sci fi movies. I actually like the sound. As I stated earlier, this car is great! It does allow for 4 to 5 passengers comfortably. There is a decent amount of legroom in the backseat as well. I have driven this car across several states and the gas mileage is amazing. I usually get about 53 mpg. So you can definitely get a lot of miles out of one tank of gas. I would recommend this car to anyone.

Anti theft features might backfire
First off, Im in a fix. Because the charge cable will not uncouple from its charging socket I cannot drive the car to the dealer but must have it towed by flatbed. It wont start until the charge cable is unplugged from the car. I can unplug it from the house, but it is the car that wont release the plug. And the car will not drive with the plug attached. Hopefully this is a once in a lifetime catch-22. I’ve had the car for almost a year and its been reliable until now. It does have little shifting issues and acceleration is occasionally jerky and surprising especially in bumper to bumper traffic and lately the proximity alarm has become frequent and unexpected. There are unexpected and unidentifiable beeps from the dashboard daily. The seat and steering wheel are too hot and i notice the cold more at the edges. Occasionally I try to let the gas run out to try to see how well it would work on only electricity. The UI constantly nags me to go to a nearby gas station, eventually my wife gets sick of it and fills up the tank. A bit frustrating to work it back down from the lofty 500 plus miles per tank. Thats most of it so far. Hopefully this current large annoyance will go away permanently so that I can continue to enjoy this pretty good car. ?

Kia Niro the best decision.
I do not have real cons that can make me regret of my purchase this car is a 10 out a 10 for me! Of course could be bigger, could be more 'luxurious' but that means that would be way out of my budget, it does not look like and electric car (weird) also gas is just once a week and it is because I am a delivery driver that loves ac. If I was some office worker... Gas would be almost once every 2 weeks. And plus I love that is not an electric car and don't get me wrong because of course you save money with those cars... But hybrid cars is just to easy to get used.

Hate cannot see well out the back window and it collects a lot of dirt. Love the mileage and the seats are above average

The plug in is great and saves on gas. Gas mileage without plug in is also great. Downhill can recharge
Plug in. Great gas mileage. Not great on uphill mountain. Very comfortable and great leg room. Roomy trunk

Hybrid is awesome I have a hour commute to work every morning.
I love it. The only issue I have ever had with it, is that twice now the breaks have engaged very hard causing more breaking than I expected. I do wish the voice command system was better as it seems to "freeze" and "think" about your commands for a good while or until you deactivate the system. But this is a leisure item so it is not that important. I love the gas mileage and the storage space.

This car is great on gas mileage. We average almost 50 miles per gallon of gas.
I love the gas mileage. We are saving a lot of money each month.

Kia Niro built for great gas mileage and comfort.
I love the Kia Niro, it is a 2018 and no problems at all. The performance is spectacular, great pick up and excellent on gas. Get 500 or over mpg on a tank of gas. This car is very reliable, always starts, no problems electronically. The comfort and features this Kia has is amazing. Leather interior seats, 16” wheels. It had all the bells and whistles on it as well as a sunroof. It is considered a smaller SUV, but has lots of space. Four door and comfortable seats in the back. The GPS has a nice size screen, cruise control and a charging station for your phone. This is an excellent car for a couple or a family.

The Kia Niro is small and compact, has a decent sound system.
Multiple issues with the car. The hybrid system has failed twice, there is a lack of pick up when stepping on the gas, delay in reaction time. The car itself is difficult to drive and it the overall hybrid system is not the best. I would not recommend this car to anyone for the future.

Avg. 50+ miles to the gallon vehicle. Great for in city and highway travel.
I love that I get on avg. 50+ miles to the gallon. I really love it when I have a trip that hits 54.9. I have not had any issues with this vehicle in the two years that I have owned it. I would highly recommend this vehicle for anyone looking to conserve gasoline and saving the environment.

Great car for anyone. Young or old, single or family.
Very reliable vehicle, great on gas mileage, low maintenance, spacious inside, plenty of trunk space, plenty of cup holders, lots of horsepower for a hybrid. Great vehicle all around. Would definitely consider buying another Niro again in the future.

That it's a hybrid. The engine runs some of the time on electricity, which it actually produces itself. It works great for freeway driving. You can save a lot of money if you make sure your "in the electric zone" .
We have a hybrid version so we use less gas. The seats are very comfy & are easy to maneuver. We can get a good amount of stuff in the back. It comes with bluetooth, which we don't really use. I miss being able to listen to my c.d.s.

The gas mileage is amazing.
The car is spacious and comfortable. Rye sound system is good and easy to use touchscreen controls. The gas mileage is amazing and worth the upgrade to the hybrid. Of course the Kia warranty is great and I am extremely pleased with this vehicle purchase.

An interesting detail is a backup camera which I love, especially because I live on a street where I have to parallel park every day. The camera is very accurate.
My car is very roomy, comes with a backup camera which I love, and is all around very convenient to use. It has a button unlock feature, and I love that if you leave the key in the vehicle it will beep to let you know you forgot it. Also because the car is so quiet sometimes you might leave it on, if you leave the car while it is on it also beeps. The only thing I do not like about my car is the dealership where we bought it because they provide mediocre service.

Air conditioning
I love the car, but I have been waiting on a part for the air conditioning system for 3 months due to the fact that its on back order! The air blows out warm air when stopped and only cools while driving! 10 other customers are waiting on the same part for the same issue and its ridicules to have to wait for so long!

The amazing gas mileage and comfortability. Plus the warranty of Kia is amazing.
It is reliable. It looks nice and handles great. I love the warranty and how sleek the exterior and interior is. I love Kia.

It is incredibly safe, both for the passengers and the environment.
I love the safety features on it. It has a ton of room, its compact but not small, and it's a hybrid so it gets great gas mileage. I wish it had built in DVD players, and I wish it was a bit taller, but overall I love it.

The comfort and roominess.
Comfortable and roomy. I really like the backup camera. The owner of the dealership where we purchase our vehicle gave us an excellent price. We are thrilled with the mileage.

Breaking in brand new car.
We just bought the car and then took a 4000 mile trip. No problems except tire pressure showing up as a problem in the colder climate. We didn't exactly get the gas mileage we expected, but as my husband said.. Driving at 80 mpg.. Do not really expect it. Car handled very well. Didn't try the automatic parking, so can't comment on that.

My vehicle is a 2018 Kia Niro plug in hybrid. You can charge it at home or at a charging station.
Pretty fast vehicle with sport mode, amazing gas mileage (62 mpg) and overall just a nice mini SUV type vehicle. Touchscreen is responsive and audio sounds great. UI could use some improvements and comfort is about a 7/10.

I like the Kia hybrid mileage.
I am very happy with the gas mileage, the passenger seat could be much better, I think the touring is better, but I am very pleased with the electronic safety features and smart cruise control. The backup camera is foggy in wet weather. The climate control is good. The Bluetooth works very well, the driver's seat is comfortable.

Very good car, very good mileage.
So far I have no had any problems with this car. It performs very good. I like everything about it. Very good mileage. I don't drive very far so I don't use the 26 miles it runs on electricity. I get 500 miles with full tank and full charge together. Comfortable seats, spacious.

The Niro is a great size vehicle, with smooth ride and unbelievable gas savings!
The Drivability of the Niro is top notch. For being a hybrid there is plenty of pick up and very little sound so it's a peaceful ride. The gas savings is so worth the price tag and I can make road trips without having to map out so many gas stops along the way. The interior is well thought out and space is sufficient for a weekend road trip for four. The steering wheel and controls are accessible and intuitive and the control screen is appropriately sized for the car.

It is a hybrid. Its gas and electric engines work together to give the best gas mileage

It gets good gas. And it is trendy.
I like that it is new and drives good. I wish it were bigger though. I like the technology that it has and I feel safe in it. My next vehicle will be a larger SUV. But I love the gas mileage.

Excellent gas mileage. No problem with the Kia
We love the car. Excellent ride, good pick up, excellent features. I wish the car had a CD player. Also I hope they re do the opening latch for the back hatch, its a little difficult to find the small rubber button in the winter that unlocks the rear hatch. I will buy this car again. YOU CANT BEAT THE WARRENTY.

Good gas mileage, terrible accessory options.
The gas mileage is amazing however we were unable to purchase a car with the better seats without a $5000.00 upgrade that included a sunroof (stupid in Oregon where it rains so much). Also, we were surprised that there was no CD player, but there is a screen to sync with your phone that has never worked.
