10/10 love this car. Would recommend, definitely.
Drives smooth. Does not take bumps super well. Quiet ride though. All the nice bells and whistles. Air conditioning is too notch. Power driver's seat which is always a nice thing. Bluetooth and backup camera are a nice perk too. 10/10 would recommend. She's a good one.

Happy with my Kia optima hybrid.
No problems to date. Passenger seat is too low for me so I prefer to drove vs be the passenger. On a good road the tide is nice but rough on roads that have defects. Cannot beat gas mileage! The backup mirror is too small to be very effective. The air conditioning is perfect as is the heat controls. The radio sound system is very nice and provides good sound.

Kia optima is amazing! Great 4 door sedan.
I have loved the reliability and comfort of the car. The seats recline very easily and the speakers and radio have an amazing bass. I will have to replace my tires soon but so far I haven't had any issues with the electronic side of it not working. I look forward to owning it for a very long time. I also love that it has heated seats and heated steering wheel during the winter months it is very helpful.

Great space for a smaller car.
It drives smoothly, it is a good size on the inside, the trunk is big. It is everything I look for in a car. I Haven't had any major problems with the car besides having to change a few tires. The car has a great gas mileage also. I would recommend this car for anyone who travels a lot or anyway who needs space in their car but also does not want a huge SUV.

Just a little bit of why I love my Kia optima and how reliable it is.
My Kia has been extremely reliable. I bought it right after having my daughter because I needed something reliable. I have had it for 3 years with no major issues. There is plenty of room to fit my daughter's car seat and plenty of groceries and my nieces at the same time.

Kia’s awesome fuel efficient car you just cannot get enough of!
I love my Kia! When I first got this car, I had been driving an old jeep liberty and it was time for change. My jeep only use to do 10 miles a gallon and now I get 25-30 miles per gallon on the Kia. I drive a lot for work and with increasing gas prices it has definitely been nice. Not only is it great on gas, but it is beautiful. The car is very sleek and comfortable with heated leather seats and amazing sound system.

I love my hybrid Kia but must remember to take an occasional trip out of town.
I have only had the car for a little over 2 years but the only problem I have had was that I only make short trips with it usually. Therefore I needed a new battery after owning it only 2 years. Since I bought it used I am not sure about the distance the previous owner drove it, but I was surprised to learn that I need to drive it for longer distances to keep the battery charged up. The other issue I had was that it had no spare tire, only the tire kit to temporarily inflate it and get to a dealer. This did not work for me. I used it once and didn't purchase another one, and subsequently had another flat. I had been told at a tire shop that the problem with buying a spare tire was that there was no room in the trunk to put a spare. When I had another flat and had not purchased another temporary tire-inflation kit, I had to pay extra to have someone come to the house and repair my tire. During that visit I was lamenting that there was no room for a spare tire in the trunk. The repairman told me that most of these vehicles had a removable flooring that could be lifted out. He looked in my trunk and showed me that I could just remove the one-piece flooring and have room for a spare tire! So I removed that and threw it away and went out and bought a spare tire. Problem solved!!

Smooth ride with various functions
I have owned the Kia Optima Hybrid for 1.5 years. I have the leather seats with the heating and cooling function. The heating function works very well during the cooler months; however, the cooling function is somewhat slower and does not always seem to work. Living in Arizona, it is a great feature to have when it is functioning normally. The seats, themselves, are comfortable and there is a surprising amount of legroom in the back seat. This does reduce the space available in the trunk and it is difficult to move larger items/boxes. Overall, I have not had any difficulty with the performance of the vehicle. It is very quiet and very easy to drive. I especially enjoy that the side mirrors close while in park, making it easier to get by the car without damaging the mirrors. I have found that the hybrid function does not provide me any more gas mileage than a standard sedan, even with the 'energy saver' function. I purchased the car as pre-owned; therefore, it is missing the SIM card. I am not able to utilize GPS at this time, though the Bluetooth feature is very simple to use for music and phone calls.

It is valuable for your money.
First hybrid that I have ever driven. I was worried about accelerating from a stop while on battery only, but it is so smooth!! Gas mileage is awesome and I look awesome driving in it! I give two thumbs up for the make of this car! I would say it that it's a 10 all the way around interior designing, reliable, performance, it is worth your money and comfortable!

Kia optima review. Pros and cons.
I have had electrical problems. Seat belt ding’s when no one or anything is in the seat. The car needs more room. The trunk is big and spacious. Sometimes when the car is shut off it takes it a min to actually shut off. The gas mileage is the best part about the car. If it wasn't for that I wouldn't have bought it.

Great space, frustrating automatic door lock system.
I love the size of the back seat as a tall adult can sit comfortably. I also love the warnings about low tire pressure and other issues with the car. I absolutely hate that I can't put the back seats down to transport longer items and also hate the way the doors lock after I have unlocked them as a 'security feature'. If I unlock them I want them to stay unlocked.

Has a Bluetooth radio seat warmers push button start up.
What can I say about 2016 Kia optima ex hybrid. Is a very good car. Very good on gas drives real smooth car. Like right now I am getting me another one put in a black color. But do not take my word for it. Go to your nearest Kia place. So you can test drive it.

Great car, luxury options at a reasonable price.
The only problem I have had with this vehicle has been the wiring. And that is because I live out in the country and the mice love the wiring because it has soybean based covering. It seems that this attracts the mice to come to the buffet. Other than that I love the car. Great performance.

A reliable and surprisingly sporty car.
My car is reliable, large enough to feel spacious but a good size to park in the city. The fuel economy could be better for a hybrid, but it is still very good (and since the car has a large tank, I do not have to fill up often). The one thing I dislike about my car is I wish the trunk opened up into the body of the car.

Is The 2016 Kia Optima Hybrid A Good Car?

Yes, it is pretty good on gas mileage and looks nice. It is comfortable and runs pretty well. Downsides include a very low passenger seat and worse gas mileage in the winter.

Yes! I love it. My Kia optima hybrid ex has all the amenities I need. Heated/cooled seats, heated steering wheel, power seats, power windows, leather interior, backseat heated seats.

How Reliable Is The 2016 Kia Optima Hybrid?

The gas mileage fluctuates quite a bit, so it is not very consistent. It also makes a strange noise when I open the driver side door. The headlights seem complicated to change out.
Annie B.
I have not had any problems with reliability. I haven't had too many issues with the way it runs. When it switches from electric to gas, sometimes it is rougher than what it used to be. But it has... Read More

Is The 2016 Kia Optima Hybrid A Good Value?

I bought it used, so it is hard to say. I feel that I paid a fair price for it, somewhere around $15,000.
Annie B.
I bought a brand new, I think I paid too much for it. It is worth a lot less now than when I paid for it 3 years ago. Even with it in great condition.
