It is a great car for the money.
The 2011-2014 models had an engine recall. The interior seat materials are not of the same quality as some it is materials. The nose is too long. It drags on hilly driveways and I do not feel like. I can get the seat high enough to see over the dash properly without my head brushing the ceiling. With all of these things being said, I love this car. It is a fun drive for a sedan, it is absolutely gorgeous and a decent car for the money. We have had no mechanical issues with it, other than the free, new motor at 100, 000 miles.
Kia is standing behind it, but it's not happening very quickly.
I love that it has a double sunroof and heated and cooled seats. I bought it used with a 175,000 miles, but it was a one owner car driven on hwy miles. However, it did start using oil and has been determined by Kia to be under warranty. They have agreed to replace the motor. My only complaint is that apparently the motor is on back order and they don't know when it will be in. Therefore, I have already been without my car for 3 weeks and don't know how much longer it'll be before I get it back.
2011 Kia optima ex fully equipped options.
I absolutely love my 2011 Kia optima ex! The color is white with the top being black and having a panoramic sunroof. It is equipped with fully loaded options. It includes a backup camera, heated steering wheel, heated and cooled front seats, heated back seat, two savable seat settings, Bluetooth, navigation, Sirius XM radio. Steering wheel controls that include radio volume, radio control, odometer settings, phone answer and end call, cruise control. Also the infinity audio system for optimal sound.
It is sporty and a dream to drive.
This car was recommended to me by friends. It has lived up to its reputation. It rides smooth and quiet inside. It has quick acceleration but a very good cruise control. It gives me good information on gas mileage and related information. I am the third owner of this car. It has been well kept. I get compliments all the time. Especially with the color. It is white with flakes and has a pearl color when seen at a distance. I have had many new cars but this is the best car I have ever owned!
Kia isn't putting their customers first. They should replace defective vehicles of permanently fix the problem.
There are a couple of flaws that could have been available when engineering this vehicle. One of the problems that really bother me is the rear view mirror falls off if you barely touch it. Another is the cover on the top of the shifter also repeatedly falls off. Also we have had to take it into the dealership multiple times because of recalls which is inconvenient and also could be a sign of a serious problem.
Kias are a top notch vehicle.
My Kia is absolutely amazing. Reliable, beautiful, and loaded. It has not given me a single problem since I bought it and paid it off. It is easy to maintain. I still get compliments on it, though it is a few years old. Looks sporty and sleek. Has amazing features inside the car. Heated and cooled seats has to be my favorite. Others I have talked to that have Kias love there's as well.
My optima is an eye-catcher. Very stylish and sassy.
About the only problem I can think of is that I have to take it about 50 miles away to get it serviced properly. I love the interior, very comfortable and the style of the exterior. Love the looks of it, I still look in windows to see it go by. Very reliable and good mileage. Loads of pep for a 4 cylinder motor. I would buy another in a heartbeat.
Super satisfied customer. More bang for your buck!
I absolutely love it! The turbo is a great feature. No problem with going from 0 to 60 in order to keep up with freeway traffic. It has been a very reliable car. With this car you get more bang for your money. Looks like a high end car but the price is much less. I definitely will be looking to buy another Kia when the time is needed.
The Kia Optima is a very beautiful car we get a lot of compliments.
Our Kia is great we bought it certified used and the warranty is great. Smooth riding luxury and loaded car. I wish the cars came with a spare tire but do not. The company did give us a flat fix kit with a one time use. The heated and ac seats I think are the best my first experience and I love it.
The Kia optima is a great car!
My Kia optima has been a great car. I have not had any major problem and it has 120, 000 miles on it. For the year it was made, the features are good. The one thing that I would change is the comfort. It is fine for driving around town but the seats could be more comfortable on long trips.
Love my Kia optima hybrid.
I love my Kia. It is extremely comfortable, and very roomy. I have the hybrid model four door sedan which gets exceptional gas mileage especially on the freeway. So I love that feature. It has been a great car overall and I would definitely consider purchasing another Kia in the future.
Kia Optima Luxury package is the way to go for affordability
4 cylinder turbo. Great pick up speed. Comfortable seats. Luxury package. Heated and cooling seats in the front. Heated seats in the rear. Large trunk space. Heated steering wheel. Moon roof in covering the front and the back. Bluetooth capability remembering up to 5 devices.
Very large enough to fit 5 people.
It breaks easily but not to the point where if I were to be in a accident it would not stop automatically when I press break, I got my car used and the Bluetooth does not work. It comfy but the interior stains easily. Very roomy for people that have long legs and are tall.
Kia Optima 2011 silver. love the bluetooth feature
I received my car when it had 16k miles on it. I have had it for almost two years and now have almost 30k miles on it. I have had no issues with it besides a recall that was paid for by the kia dealership where it was purchased. It is the greatest car I've had so far.
Great gas mileage. Super looks. Love the burgundy black cherry. Sharp interiors.
This Kia Optima has had absolutely no problems or had any work done on it. I think Kia makes a wonderful car. Plus the 5 year and ten year warranty. I enjoy driving is as for a large car it is real sporty. The gas mileage is really great. The car looks really good.
2011 Kia optimum! Very satisfied with my purchase.
My car has actually been great to me. It is very dependable, mpg is great, and is affordable. I have made sure to keep up with the regular maintenance to avoid issues. The exterior is beautiful, the only complaint is that my leather on the back seats has ripped.
The 2011 Kia Optima is a reliable car that has enough power to get you through your daily life as a commuter.
My Kia Optima is a great car. I like that it is reliable, I have had the car for 2 years and have yt to have any major problems. I got tires last winter but that's routine maintenance. I'm not the biggest fan of the color (burgundy) but have grown to like it.
Reliable, great factory warranty.
My optima has been very reliable. I have had no major issues thus far. The only complaint I would have about the car is that it is difficult to see out of the side of the vehicle. The area where the windshield and side windows connect creates a blind spot.
It has great gas mileage. It has always been reliable.
I love the gas mileage. Although it is 7 years old, the model still looks really nice and up to date. I have had no issues with it. What I dislike are the color of the cloth seats. They are light gray and show everything from water stains to Jean dye.
An important thing others should know about my car is that it gets the job done.
My vehicle gets me from point A to point B. It isn't some high quality car, but I have added some extra features to it such as tinted windows and a remote start. It just got new tires, and a new engine because of a car wreck that happened recently.
It's really a good quality vehicle at a modest price point.
I like that it's peppy and comfortable to drive. We have not had any problems with it except for a recall that related to the manufacturer replacing the engine. I love that it has 120,000 miles on it with a brand new engine. It will last forever.
They will need to replace the tires frequently. Any type of bump in the road will cause a flat. Tire maintenance is costly.
I LOVE my Optima. It is a Turbo and loaded with options. My Only complaint is the electrical issues. My mirrors move by themselves, my seat starts moving by itself and my radio shorts out when the mirrors start to move. By themselves.
It gets me where I need to go with limited issues.
My car has great room, decent gas mileage and has been pretty dependable. I also like the appearance and the unique paint scheme it has. The only complaint is there ac has had multiple issues and my master window controls don't work.
The customer service is not so great and beware before purchasing.
I love the style, comfort, and how fun it is to drive. I dislike the fact that the engine blew last year and was under recall and the customer service was awful. I still love it but I am not sure I would purchase another Kia.
It has great mpg. Actually, it generally gets nearly 31 miles per gallon.
I like the power and comfort of the ride. The seats are comfortable. It has good visibility in all directions. The acceleration is exceptional for a car with such a small engine. It has excellent leg, foot and shoulder room.
Practical car with good qualities. It hasn't required much work.
I've loved my car over all and not had any major issues. The only real issue I've had was with a factory recall. I am now currently awaiting a new engine for my car. It was defectively made and cause high oil consumption.
Great for a family or business car.
I love my car. It is good on gas and rides smooth. I haven't had any major problems with my car and I have had it for 4 years. My car has been driven to many states and provides great comfort for my three boys and I.
Optima hybrid gets great gas mileage, at a reasonable price. It is comfortable, inexpensive and distinctive-looking.
It is a hybrid, and gets great gas mileage. I commute 5 days a week for about 40 mi round trip. The mileage is great, the driving is OK. I like the car, but don't love it. Also, the original cost was reasonable.
Not bad car with some issues
The fuel mileage is okay nothing special. When I first got this car from the dealership after a little while the air conditioning stopped blowing cold air. Other than that it is reasonably reliable for now
It gets fantastic gas mileage.
I love the style, it gets great gas mileage, spacious trunk and it's a smooth ride. The only dislike I have is that is does not do well in the snow, and I often get stuck. Otherwise, wonderful vehicle.
It drives great and great on gas.
I love my Kia Optima. I have had no major problems with my car. I bought it brand new, zero mileage. I just did the normal upkeep- oil changes, tune up, new tires and it runs smoothly. Great on gas.
Extended warranty on Kia's is the best on the market
Great vehicle with awesome extended warranty and fuel economy. I have had 2 recalls on my car and took it to a Kia dealership. They completed the work same day and provided great customer service.
It gets great gas mileage.
I love the size of my car. It gets great gas mileage. It's easy to handle. There's a lot of room in the trunk for our belongings and plenty of room in the back seat for my children as well.
It is a very dependable vehicle and low maintenance.
I have had no issues with my vehicle, other than normal service, even with over 100 miles per day commutes. I feel like it is sportier than similar vehicles. I also like the interior space.
Some motors had to be replaced including mine.
The only complaint I have is the passenger seat sits really low other than that I love my car. I drove several other optima models as well as Hyundai sonata and my optima turbo is the best.
It handles so good on the road.
My Kia runs very well is very good on gas. It handles very good on the road. It's a very comfortable car velvet seats carpet all the way through. It cleans very easy to keep clean.
Too many significant recalls.
Nice car with great technology and get plenty of get up and go. Unfortunately the car has had too many major recalls or problems for me to recommend this car to anyone to purchase.
My Kia Optima has been a pleasure to own.
My Kia Optima has been a pleasure to drive. It is very comfortable, drives smoothly and has never given me any issues. The only money I have put into it is routine maintenance.
The turbo will most likely go out around 150,000 miles. If you own the optima six.
It is foreign made - expensive fixes. I enjoy the space and speed. My complaints would have to be with the parts - you cannot buy parts anywhere other than a Kia dealership.
It drives smoothly the heated and cooled seats are awesome.
I love my car my favorite thing is the heated and cooled seats. The moon roof is great. The only thing I would change about my car is my windows need to be tinted darker.
That it is a very strong, dependable vehicle. Very good power.
I like the size and color. It is a midsize black cherry vehicle. It is a safe vehicle. I also like the panel display that I use to judge my rear view movements.
2011 Kia optima. Red to dark red in color. 85k miles
Love the turbo makes driving fun. Although in this particular vehicle the turbo had to be replaced twice. I am also a fan of the 10 year 100k mile warranty.
IT HAS A LOT OF SPACE IN THE BACK SEAT AND TRUNK AND GOOD FOR THE ENTIRE FAMILY
MY VEHICLE IS VERY COMFORTABLE AND RELIABLE, THE FEATURES ARE VERY MODERN AND UP TO DATE, IT ALSO HAS KEYLESS ENTRY. THERE ARE NO MAJOR PROBLEMS SO FAR
Comfort, reliability, and space.
It's a very reliable car. It has lasted me for a while. It's engine had to be fixed, but after that, no problems. It's also comfortable and spacious.
It's a great car for the money. It won't set you back very much.
Overall, I think it's pretty good. But the remote start on it is very crappy and causes problems. I like the bluetooth integration, that seems good.
I would buy another, optima though I would not buy one after 15 they are just ugly. If I had some real money I would buy their 4dr sports car
It is a well built car. runs well decent gas mileage. My only complaint I have is that I don't have enough money to do the things I want to it.
The car has been extremely reliable besides the fluke engine replacement.
wonderful performance and power, new engine replacement at 80k miles for overconsumption of oil, but no other problems besides wear and tear.
It is reliable and comfortable.
I love how.My vehicle feels when driving but I do not like that I do not have a dark tint on the windows or a AC controller in the backseat.
Kia optima fun to drive and lots of features.
Reliable performance with no maintenance issues to date. Fun to drive and sporty looking. Great features including Bluetooth and GPS.
It's fast and very reliable
I'm not interested in selling my car. It has leather seats four wheel drive and has a Kenwood Bluetooth CD stereo with excellent AC
Midsize Sedan Decent Ride
Kia made a decent mid sized car for 2011. I'm sure they've since made improvements. I would not recommend purchasing this vehicle.
High on safety testing, yet comes with a lot of amenities.
A lot of amenities for the price point. It has a very comfortable ride. I love the cooled seats feature! No dislikes at this time.
It is very safe. I know if I were to get into a wreck, my injuries would be minor.

2011 Bronze/Gold Kia Optima
Have never had any mechanical problems. Very reliable and runs very smoothly. Has a good mileage for gas. Easy to drive
I'm not a car person, but I love it better than my old Ford Taurus.
Maintenance is easy, fairly inexpensive on most repairs. Easy to drive. Warranty is decent. "Bells & whistles" amazing.
It runs well now considering the motor is brand new.
It's black and it has a brand spanking new motor that was installed about a couple of months ago. Now it works well.
It is a reliable car with great features and good mileage.
It is a great car for work when I'm not with my family. I use this car for work and like the features and mileage.
