2011 Kia Optima Review - Great Stereo, Trunk Space, & Gas Mileage!

2011 Kia Optima LX

I love my 2011 Kia Optima. There's been very few issues with it in the 9 years I have owned it. The biggest has been that the A/C doesn't get cold as quickly as it used to. As far as the features, the stereo is great and I love that you can pair multiple devices to the Bluetooth. I have my phone, tablet, computer, and husband's phone all paired so that I can swap between them anytime I need to. My biggest complaint over everything is that there's no A/C vents or power outputs in the back. This paired with the A/C not getting as cold as quick makes for some hot backseat passengers in the summer. If I give my car about ten minutes to cool off at full blast before getting in though it can get very cold. All in all, it is a great car and I recommend it to anyone looking for a nice car with great gas mileage and comfortable cloth seats. And did I mention the trunk is so big I have a bass system in it AND I can still lay down in it?

Why you should most definitely entertain the idea of buying the 2011 Kia optima.

2011 Kia Optima LX

I have had this vehicle for 6 years. Very sporty. Extremely reliable and provides some ample amount of space for my family. Trunk space is large and accommodating of all my work boxes, carts, etc. Interior offers Bluetooth capabilities, automatic locks for doors/windows, ac/heat. OnStar availability. Tons of driving space for my 6'4 husband. Storage space inside is great. Only con for me is how low the car sits to the ground. It makes parking a hassle occasionally as well as dodging potholes difficult. All in all it is a great reliable vehicle.

A brief synopsis of a manual transmission Kia optima.

2011 Kia Optima LX

The manual transmission could be better. The you have to burn a little bit of the clutch to get it to not hesitate. I had to replace the stock steering wheel from the lx model for a higher model so that I could have cruise control. I consistently get around 32 mpg at 75 mph. I have not had any real mechanical problems. Changing the oil is extremely easy. This is the first car I have ever owned that has the oil filter positioned vertically.

Annoyances of the Kia Optima

2011 Kia Optima LX

Only major problems is the engine is a little noisy. It is quite from inside the car, but when the windows are rolled down, it can be loud. Another problem is that I can't control my phone music when connected to Bluetooth. I have to use my phone to play/pause, and also change the song. The car also sits low, and makes drive thru windows and ATMs difficult to deal with. I am unable to raise the seat up though due to my size.

My Kia Optima is cozy, reliable, and has great mileage

2011 Kia Optima LX

My Kia Optima was awesome at first. It's super reliable, good on mileage, and the stereo system is awesome. After a year of having the car I already needed new tires, which I got. Now 6 months later I need new brakes, new axel, my back up camera broke after just a year of owning the vehicle. The car is very big and cozy, got me through a 14 hour car drive and no back problems.

It has a lot of space available on the inside.

2011 Kia Optima LX

My cars stick shift so it's more work than I need to be doing. Id suggest getting an automatic. For people who love stick shift this car drives smooth and saves me on gas I drive 22 miles to and from work. And I only use a half a tank and only costs 30 to 40 to fill up. During the week it has been only costing me $20 to fill up BC I only go to and from work.

Why you should buy a Kia!

2011 Kia Optima LX

Sleek looking, interior nice. Would prefer the more velour vs. The material if you have kids or pets as it is easier to clean. Love the warranty Kia has now, do not have to worry, although they have come a long way and I have never had any problems with this car. My next car will be a new optima, I just really like the way they look, feel and drive.

It have a very big back seat so perfect for a car seat if your having a baby

2011 Kia Optima LX

It's a very good vehicle but the parts on it are just way too expensive and they costs me and arm and a leg to buy them! And I would go to a dealership and make sure you test drive for awhile like a day or two to see if You're comfortable in it because if you're looking for comfort it might not be what you're looking for in a luxury car

Great car for daily usage.

2011 Kia Optima LX

The Kia optima is a new car that just bought. It was affordable to purchase and gets great mileage. The drive is smooth and it handles great. Very attractive as well. It has many convenience and safety features. The car itself is very comfortable and has decent amount of space i'd highly recommend this vehicle to anyone.

2011 Kia Optima Runs Like New! Luxury Car without the Luxury Price!

2011 Kia Optima LX

Great car, have had for over 8 years with no issues. I hope to be able to drive it for 8 more. It is a luxurious car with soft leather seats, heated steering wheel and heated/AC seats. As long as you keep up the oil change and regular maintenance, I have had zero mechanical issues. It still drives smooth and fast.

Comfortable traveling car

2011 Kia Optima LX

We primarily purchased it because my 6'3' husband fit comfortably inside it. Many cars we tried weren't wide enough to comfortably fit his wide shoulders. It's also very good on gas and has a huge tank. We've traveled up the entire east coast and only needed to fill-up once.

Why I love my Kia optima!

2011 Kia Optima LX

I have not had any issues other than regular wear and tear. One thing I do not like is there is a lot of road noise. It has been reliable and have gotten in two accidents, with little damage. I feel like it is a good value. I will be buying another one.
