Kia Optima Ex gdi over a Lexus any day.

2013 Kia Optima EX

Beautiful, sporty, and has a stock speaker system that already is something of quality you'd go out and buy yourself. I had planned beforehand on replacing my cars speakers with new nice one with good bass, after getting the car I realized I didn't need to. The ac is quick, Florida heat in a black car on leather is no joke but I still can't complain. All features and buttons are made well not the cheap plastic you can hear as you press them.. all electrical outlets work and charge fast. Bluetooth makes my life a lot easier, and people say that using your sunroof may break it the more you use it, but it's been 6 years and I have no problem with the motor or the seals. Overall love the car. It's great on gas and for the price and look of it, it's a steal. Kia is really getting their name back

Kia Optima - outstanding vehicle

2013 Kia Optima EX

The amount of extras packed into this vehicle as compared to a Toyota or Hyundai similar models is outstanding. The stereo quality is excellent. Leather seats a must! For a 4 cylinder it's very quick speed pickup. Handles very well around curves/corners. The nose of it is very sleek and I get compliments about the attractiveness of my car all the time. It's white with black trim. The engine went in it shortly after 100,000 mile warranty and Kia put a brand-new engine in for free with a 15-year warranty. Unheard of compared to other automakers.

Kia Optima worth it for the price of the car nice and cheap

2013 Kia Optima EX

Decent on gas mileage but the only problem I have with it is the amount of times I have had to get an alignment on the car, it has been pulling to the right no matter how many times I have gotten and alignment, and for some reason the AC cuts in and out sometimes and won't work on the brutally hot summer days, another thing is there's is no way for you to tell when you are running low on gas because once your tank gets to under 30 miles it just shows 3 dashes and doesn't specify how many miles you have left until your car runs out of gas

Only thing I'm okay with is the cost of oil changes.

2013 Kia Optima EX

I don't like the acceleration speed when trying to get on the freeway. Even though it is a used vehicle, I have had issues with starter. I'd rather be able to start my car with a key instead of pushing a button. If the battery is low on the push key, the car doesn't start until I pull out the makeshift key in the remote. I don't like that I don't have an actual spare tire. The cost to replace the tire repair solution is expensive. If I want to have the radio on while I'm waiting for a passenger, it drains my car battery.

Best detail of Kia Optima: the interior layout!

2013 Kia Optima EX

I have enjoyed having my Kia Optima. Besides basic maintenance fixes, such as oil changes, new tires, brake lights, etc... I have not had any huge mechanical issues that required fixing. My Optima has run smooth for the past 3 years that I have been the owner and the interior is super comfortable to be inside of. I would definitely think about purchasing another Kia Optima.

- Hannah T

It is a very smooth ride when everything is good and gets good mileage.

2013 Kia Optima EX

The radio went out after a couple of years and it's been a very big problem. The backup camera does not show because that is where it was displayed. The clock spring also went out about the same time. After hitting roughly 40+ mph when I slowly hit the brakes the car jerks real bad forward and backwards.

Kia Optima 2013 EX sedan has many manufacturer defects.

2013 Kia Optima EX

Performance is mediocre. Reliability is undesirable. Wheel handling is not sturdy. AC is not very powerful. Bluetooth and the headlights were defective. Headlights randomly turn off. The vehicle comes without spare tire. Trunk is small. Vehicle has been recalled multiple times for defective airbags.

2013 Kia Optima EX GDI review

2013 Kia Optima EX

good car but not great in snow. Front wheel drive still needs snow tires. I like the heated steering wheel and heated seats both front and back. Roomy back seat with heat also. Good car overall, no major repairs with 120,000 miles so far. If this car was AWD I would definitely buy another optima

- jennifer K

Friends are always surprised by how luxurious the interior is.

2013 Kia Optima EX

I have enjoyed my vehicle since day one. My car has been very reliable, quality has been excellent. Mileage has exceeded my expectations. I would definitely buy another as well as recommend this car to any prospective buyers. This car is an excellent value and a reliable vehicle all around.

- Eric B

affordable vehicle with backup camera, and exterior is appealing to the eye

2013 Kia Optima EX

I do love my 2013 Kia Optima. It is an affordable 'luxury' vehicle and have had no issues with it in the 3 years I have owned it. I plan to upgrade soon and will most likely be upgrading to the same make and model just a newer year, as Kia is a good quality, safe and spacious for a sedan

The Great Kia Optima with all the features!

2013 Kia Optima EX

The Kia Optima is great. Has a lot of room. Plenty of extra features. Rides smooth and has some pickup. Gas mileage is great. Heated/AC seats, sunroof, Sirius radio, iPod connection, great infinity speakers. Big trunk. Leather seats. Pull down armrest/cup holder in back seat.

- Bill F

Love in style. The leather seats.

2013 Kia Optima EX

Best car I've ever owned. Never have I had a problem with it. The seats are very comfortable. I fell in love with it with I first saw it. The style is everything. I would recommend this type of car to anyone. It's very good in gas too. My next car will be a upgraded newer Kia Optima.

2013 Kia Optima honest review

2013 Kia Optima EX

The Kia Optima is a good vehicle in terms of gas mileage and comfort. I have not had to many mechanical problems with my vehicle. The paint on the front is chipping off and there are indents from rocks because of the material they use for the bumper. Otherwise it is a great vehicle.

- Cory R

Great stereo system, and the rest of the car is pretty good too...

2013 Kia Optima EX

The original engine blew up and was replaced. The stereo system is awesome. I have the luxury package, so have heated and cooled seats and a heated steering wheel. The mpg is a little less than expected in the city, but excellent on the highway. The car handles well in bad weather.

- Ben D

Love the features of the car

2013 Kia Optima EX

I've had no issues with my car since I leased and purchased it over the last 5 years. I absolutely love it and when it is time for me to purchase another one I will get the same make and model. The only downside is that there are recalls but none of them were about my vehicle.

Kia Optima 2013: My Review

2013 Kia Optima EX

Problems are key fob and when the battery dies, you can't start your car; even if the power looks good(cold cranking amps low). Good things are comfortability, style is nice for the price. it's very reliable and has great gas mileage. It also has a pretty good sound system.

- Carl G

Everything I need. I love it.

2013 Kia Optima EX

Has been very reliable. Has every amenity I could need. No major problems at all. Does not come standard with a full size spare tire which could be a problem if the side wall gets damaged. Otherwise, I could not be happier with this vehicle. Would definitely recommend

- Liam S

Sleek smooth ride and design.

2013 Kia Optima EX

The performance of this vehicle is nice and smooth riding quiet technology not over the top engine performance is nice quite interior modern not over the top sleek outside design balanced good stability great gas mileage comfortable seating and safety features.

- Peter B

Love my nice looking very reliable Kia

2013 Kia Optima EX

My Kia is very easy to drive! It has lots of great features such as sunroof heated and ac seats. Looks sporty but big like a sedan. Very reliable not had many issues with the car other than normal wear. I love this car and hope to drive for several more years.

- Stephanie W

Fancy features at a not so fancy price.

2013 Kia Optima EX

I used my car to commute an average of 60 miles a day for the first three years and it still drives smoothly three years later. Was able to get over 33 miles/gal on long drives. Design and features are great for the price. Still very reliable after six years.

- Jay J

I love the car for my family and it big enough for all of us.

2013 Kia Optima EX

No problems so far. Has get up and go. Has heated and cooled seats front and back seats. Sirius radio, Bluetooth compatible, cruise control, volume control and call option on the steering wheel. It's a good reliable car for a family and to and from work.

- Mindy P

Extremely good gas mileage with eco friendly that saves even more gas

2013 Kia Optima EX

Very comfortable, plenty of room inside of the car, very good on gas and mileage, aftermarket radio easy to install, leather seats, push to start, keyless entry, very big trunk, good air condition, easy to clean, rides very smoothly, radio sounds good.

- Kate S

Kia optima is my favorite car.

2013 Kia Optima EX

Love my little optima. Just hit 155,000 miles and still going strong. Not insulated the greatest, so there's a lot of road noise. But it drives great and is so cute! We have had no major mechanical issues with the car. We bought it brand new in 2012.

- Elizabeth B

Efficient gas mileage Kia.
