A nice looking car, but horrible gas mileage.
2014 Kia Optima SX Turbo
I've had my optima for 3 years now. In that short span of time I've had a few issues with it - the motor in the windshield wipers died a year ago, the rear brakes completely went a year and a half ago and needed to be replaced, and the front tires needed to be replaced last year as well. You can't beat the features in this car, especially in the trim level that I have, and people often think it's a Lexus or Infiniti. However, it has horrible gas mileage and is expensive to fill - nearly as expensive as my 2006 mustang was, believe it or not. The drive is comfortable but feels very disconnected for me. The car is also very low to get in and out of, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with back or knee issues. The dimming rearview mirror I find really dangerous as it makes visibility worse at night and I always turn it off. Overall it is a good car but I don't find it super dependable from the issues I've had in such a short time and I question how much longer it will last.
