I like the size of the car. It has a decently sized trunk to allow a lot of cargo. It requires a lot of maintenance which I do not like.

Ups and downs of my Kia Sorento
I have had to replace the alternator several times, apparently this make and model is notorious for this. Also the handles tend to break quite easily, there are thousands of videos on how to replace them. I do enjoy the space of the vehicle, it is comparable to most other SUVs. I went with a Kia because of the price, it was suitable for my single mother income and is reliable other than the alternator situation. I have learned how to change one out on my own now, thanks to my mechanic brother! I would most definitely say that there are more positive aspects to my vehicle than negative.

It's an old version car but it's still a good car.
I like this car because of its big trunk. I don't like this car because it doesn't have bluetooth and charge. I can't listen to music from my phone on the car.

It has one of the safest roll-over rates in its year. That makes me feel confident trusting my family's safety to it.
I have had the truck for about 8 years and I love it! I have taken many trips with it and it is usually very dependable. We have had a few issues but it is finally paid off! I trust it to get me from point A to point B.

I have not had any problems with my vehicle. I have only had it for a few months. I love the space. Allows me to take small trips with my family including the family dog. Took my first small trip to Richmond in some pretty bad weather and it rode so smoothly.

My Kia is a preowned vehicle that I got about a year ago. It is a very solid car with just over 100k miles on it. The only complaint I have is that when you try to turn the radio volume down on the head unit it sometimes turns it up very rapidly!

Try and look for parts, tools, and fluids in advance before starting maintenance. Other than that It's a great vehicle if you take care of it.
My vehicle is very roomy and luxurious. It has size but handles like a car. Good gas mileage. I dislike the speciality pieces and fluids it calls for. Such as the oil filter wrench is a speciality piece that is not sold in most auto part stores nor the kia dealerships locally.

I have only 82000 miles on my Kia I've had no problems since owning it 3 yrs ago it great on gas handles very well I have no complaints I love the fact that the rear seats fold down which gives me a lot of space to carry things like groceries or tools. And also its AWD which handles the road beautifully when it snows

It is a SUV I me like that and has 4 wheel drive so when it snows I get.
It does not get the best gas mileage it does not have a CD player which I do not like I would like a lot better if it had CD player instead of just radio I would like it better also if it had heat seaters I would also like me much better if it was one with a leather seat for better comfort.

The fit and finish of the vehicle overall is great for the price point.
It is a very reliable vehicle. Before our family purchased it I would not have realized Kia's quality had come this far. It is an SUV and it offers a nice blend of functionality and space. The handling is average to firm. The ride height makes it more of a challenge then small car type SUVs or sedans. That can be an issue if your passengers are older or if you are fatigued. The vehicle is based around utility and not so much comfort. But it has been a good reliable vehicle.

My car runs great and doesn't look bad either.
My car starts up everyday with no problems. Minor things such as brakes, dash lights and peripherals are going wrong at this time. The car is starting to smell like oil and gas when it starts up. Not every time it starts though, just randomly, however the car runs great!

The Kia Sorento from 2008 is a brilliant car for new drivers.
My little Kia is a wonderful car especially for new drivers. It's small and very easy to drive and the seats are comfortable and all controls are easy to use and understand.

The milage in this car is still very low. It is a daily commuter. The gas mileage I wish would be a little better but that could be due to maintenance.
I have had no problem with the vehicle since I have been driving it for three years. I believe it is spacious and exactly what I need.

The works and has good space for big items by putting the back seats down.
Due when it was made, I don't have much to complain. It's gets me from a to b. The age of bluetooth wasnt as big back then as it is today. Although, gas mileage is as good.

Smooth and sleek SUV at an affordable price.
The Kia Sorento is a sleek and smooth SUV. It is not to big and bulky like some SUVs. My particular one has rain guards on it that are helpful when the car can become foggy or hot and it is raining. You just crack the window a little and do not have to worry about rain coming in. So far at 62k the car has been reliable and has not had any major problems.

The convenience of an SUV with the strength of a truck
My Sorento is 10 years old and has over 130,000 miles on it. We live in a high salt usage area and there is hardly any rust on it. I have put less than $500 into this car over the last 6 years that I have owned it and most of that was routine maintenance. My favorite this about the this vehicle is that it serves as an SUV, but it is built like a truck with a solid rear axle and it will go anywhere and tow anything that a small truck will.

The leather cover that covers up the view of your trunk to the outside
I love how my car is very reliable. It's sturdy, dependable, and very roomy in the inside. It is full soft seating makes it cozy, but it's full black interior gives it a luxury feeling. The one this I dislike is that the gas can is opposite of the driver's side and the engine is very hard to get to when batteries or anything else needs changing. It also guzzles gas.

The 2008 Kia Sorento is the perfect size SUV!
I find the 2008 Kia Sorrento to be a very reliable vehicle. The car performs well and gets good gas mileage. It does seem to be easy to maintain. My Kia Sorento is comfortable. It' is a smaller sports utility vehicle but it has ample head and leg room. The 'utility' area has a good amount of space and provides all that I need.

Folks like color /reliable gas mileage and good repair service.
Keeping up with maintenance drive good and gets 23-25 mtg. I would recommend for college students and or retired person does not have any up to date technology. No power sets or GPS. Overall a good older car. Kia in 2018 one model receive best car safety recommend. And there service section is good. Fair and friendly service.

Kia: a car for your road trip.
I have no big problems with my Kia Sorento. It gets great gas mileage and drives well, especially on long trips. There is plenty of storage, and if you need more, the second row of seats is easy to fold down. The entertainment features are excellent, and the exterior color of the car does a great job of hiding dirt.

Spacious and comfortable, not too big but not too small.
Its expensive to maintain, an oil change is almost 40$ more than a regular oil change. The parts are expensive and most can only be purchased through the dealership. It is spacious and its safe feeling but the mileage sucks. I definitely won't be purchasing a Kia again.

My vehicle is the perfect size for me. I have really enjoyed it and it's paid for.
I really like my car. I haven't had any major problems with it. The problems that I have had was still covered under the warranty. I have had my car for 10 years. My best advice is to keep up with the regular maintenance such as oil changes and you will be just fine.

Exceptional ride and reliability.
This vehicle performs exceptionally well. With regular scheduled maintenance, there have been no problems or repairs. The reliability is the best of any vehicle we've had in the past. We like the inside features of drop down seats for cargo space and the quietness of the ride.

Very reliable with a few minor problems
It has been reliable for the most part. There was a problem with it not coming out of 4 wheel drive when it was new but that was corrected under warranty. Lately it has had problems with the air conditioning not working.

Travel ready or a campers dream
Dependable It gets me to where I need to go, it has great space, good on gas, sits 5 people including the driver, fairly easy to keep clean, not many repairs needed as long as the main maintenance is kept up, 4 accessible car outlets, side pockets n under floor area in the trunk for minimal storage like jack for tires/emergency tire kit/jumper cables/etc; and tuck also includes a spare tire.

Good family friendly vehicle
We really like our Kia Sorento. It is a good size for a family with two young children. The height of the car helps for getting kids into car seats easily. The trunk is spacious for fitting lots of groceries and strollers. We have run into an issue with the locks on the car not working right and a few other issues. Overall though, we are happy with our Kia.

My car is very comfortable and very Versatile. I have never had any major mechanical issues. Runs well and performs well, easy to handle. Back seats fold down for extra room. Four doors and has a traveling rack on the roof. Running boards were factory stock making it easier to get in and out of vehicle.

It has a tire monitor that lets you know when your tire pressure is low.
This car has been very reliable over the past 5 years. I think the only issue has been the headlight bulbs seem to burn out fairly quickly. We are a family of five and fit very comfortably in this car. The trunk is huge, there is a ton of leg space!

No major problems just small complaints.
The tpms light comes on frequently whenever the weather changes from hot to cold, I have also noticed that all the headlights burnout more frequently than any other car I have ever owned. It is trivial things but annoying nonetheless! The belts also seem to wear more quickly.

The Kia Sorento is good on gasoline per miles, I do not have to fill up that often which is great on a budget. The car rides well on long distance trips and even on rough roads. Has great leg room also. The cars performance is good and very reliable.

Was in an accident so cosmetic repairs needed, the back hatch does not come open.
I do not like the cheap plastic and a/c does not work. I do like the 4 wheel drive, sunroof, easy to maintain.

Great car for a small family!
Kia's have really stepped up their game and I love this car. It has decent gas mileage for a small SUV. Very comfortable ride, we prefer to use our Sorento for longer car trips due to it's comfort and roominess. There are only two complaints we have with our Sorento. The first is that we have to replace the left front headlight at least once every 3 months and the second is the road noise. It is a bit excessive, even with all the windows up. The issue with the headlight may be caused by an issue with the wiring but until we take it into a mechanic we will not know for sure. I will also say that the way to get access to the light is a bit annoying. The storage space is great and I love how easy it is to fold down the back seats for extra room when needed.

Kia Sorento runs great, just one little issue.
Whenever I idle in park or neutral the vehicle has begun making a loud sustained grinding noise. Otherwise the vehicle drives fine. It is reliable, and has good acceleration. The mpg is not the greatest, but for the year and since it is an SUV I suppose it is not too bad.

Not a vehicle I wanted, husband bought.
The car squeals while driving. Have been told it isn't the brakes but they aren't sure what it is. The rubber around the doors does not hold up. The screws in the doors strip out causing the doors not to close properly. Have had issues with lights not working properly. Can't turn lights on if key isn't in the car and turned on.

Dependable and comfortable SUV.
Wheel bearings went out within 2 yrs, there is more road noise than other vehicles. No other problems so far. It has held up pretty good. It is roomy. It is rear wheel drive so it gets stuck in mud & is harder to get out. Keeping routine maintenance has help it to stay in good shape.

Older model Kia's are not worth it. The best part of it I think guess the color.
The Kia is beautiful. I love the color of it and I love the room. The layout inside is beautiful but the newer ones are a lot nicer but sadly to say it does seem to always have something wrong with it. Everytime I get something fixed there is another problem.
