So far I have no had any problems with my Kia. It is a very safe car and I have used it to drive on several long road trips. I live in Illinois and I have driven to Florida multiple times and Colorado in my car. The Kia Sorento is super comfortable and full of room. The car has three rows of seats however I leave my third row down in order to have a bigger trunk space. This is honestly such a great car and I would recommend it to anyone!

Great family vehicle with inconvenient interior design cons.
Very reliable vehicle with no major engine problems. However, 3rd row seat does not get much ventilation from ac. Design of 2nd row seat could be better as it is hard to access the third row. Gets anywhere from 24-30 mpg (highway) though I usually average 21-23 mpg (city).

The headlights are to dim and they do not really get bright.
3 of my doors do not open, my lights are dim, I need new car panels, I would like to have new seats, I need a new engine the buttons on my key do not work, I need a new car alarm, the driver's side door does not opening the color could some more work and a shine.

I really like that the car comes with a rear view camera.
I originally bought this car to fit my wheelchair in the back. My last car was too small to fit the wheelchair in the back. I love the amount of cargo space in my car. If you fold the seats down in the back you can effectively turn this vehicle into a truck. I have been using it to haul lumber in and it has worked quite well. This vehicle is also good if you have to make large shopping trips. The only thing I would change is to have more storage space in the front of the vehicle. I always need more storage space.

Why you should get a Kia Sorento.
It is a very safe vehicle. It is fuel efficient. It is roomy and comfortable. Plenty of storage space, so it is ideal for groceries or vacations. Our vehicle is good for a family. It has the largest trunk I have ever had.
No problems so we have not had any major problems with our Kia Sorento. We noticed that recently it seems that our wiper fluid seems to run out quickly. Not sure if there’s a leak or if it is due to the fact we live in a hot state and water evaporation happens faster.

This vehicle fits my needs. It is dependable. It is roomy but not too big. Seats up to five passengers and has plenty of room in the trunk. It has a backup camera which makes backing up super easy, especially when parking in a parking space. Love the dual controls for heating and air.

2018 Kia Sorento, certified pre-owned.
Bought certified pre-owned. Great warranties! I have had absolutely no issues this far. I love that it has the 3rd row seating and lots of cargo space when the back row is laid down. The stain resistant cloth seats are great, however they could be a little more comfortable for long trips. We have two car seats in the second row that fit well and the children have plenty of space to stretch.

The car is very roomy and reliable.
I very much love the car. Currently, the problems are that the engine shakes slightly, the batteries have had to be replace three times already and some interior stuff is ripped up due to the animals I own. For being a Kia it is rather luxurious. It has a v6 so there is a bit of go juice to it, but not as much as I would like. As far as comfort goes, it is fantastic and has plenty of room. Yes, the radio deal and touch screen deal could be better but it works for me.

Love everything about my Sorento.
I love my Sorento. We live in an area that gets a lot of snow in the winter, which is why I upgraded to a Sorento from my Altima. It drives perfectly in the snow, is very comfortable, pretty good on gas, and has just enough features. I love that I can connect my iPhone through apple carplay to use the GPS and access my music. The third row is amazing and has come in handy several times.

Love my Sorento! Great seating and features
I've had my car for about 7 months and in that time I haven't had any issues with my Sorento. It starts consistently, even in very cold temperatures (-10 F) during the winter. I am especially pleased with the handling in the snow. The AWD is great for gripping slippery roads and it doesn't get bogged down in 6-12' if a road has not been plowed yet. This vehicle is extremely comfortable. My husband and I (6'3' and 5'10') have plenty of leg, head and shoulder room, and have no problem going for a drive a few hours away. The drivers seat has full power adjustment - front/back, up/down. And the steering wheel also manually adjusts so you can get everything just right. We have a car seat installed in the middle of the back seat and have no trouble moving our seats into any position. The backseat is roomy and comfortable for an adult. Optional third row seating is easy to use, although would be better suited for children to use as the legroom is limited. The backup camera is easy to use and very large. I like hooking up my phone via Apple CarPlay, but I wish it could be used via Bluetooth not just USB. Overall, a smooth, comfortable ride with great features at a very affordable price. Great value for the money.

It has very nice seat warmers, and the seat warmers warm up very quickly, as well as the heating and air conditioning, which heat up/cool down in a matter of minutes, individual temperature controls for each passenger, rear view camera (reverse camera), when backing up/the car is in reverse, the car makes a beeping sound to alert the driver of obstacles, sleek interior, touch screen control panel, the key folds in and out so it does not stab you when it is in your pocket.

I love the 3 driving modes, regular, sport and eco. I enjoy having different modes to drive in because sometimes you want to be able to drive faster or just chill. 3 rows of seating is awesome. The panoramic sunroof is innovative in a sport wagon. The touchscreen display is very user-friendly. I also love my push to start ignition.

Extremely good car, runs smoothly as long as everything is up to date and getting things done on time. In the years I have had, I have seen no issue with it. Comfortable and reliable, the technology is helpful as you can see the map and directs you by the screen and helps with cameras installed to alert when you are getting too close to a car or alerts the car next to you when to close. I love the Kia! It's a really nice family car. The is enough space even with the third row up. It rides really smooth. The all wheel drive is definitely a bonus. Highs simple interior layout, agreeable driving experience, seating for seven in a mid-size body. Lows difficult-to-access third row, numb steering, some safety features limited to upper trims. Verdict for three rows of seating in an un-huge SUV, the Sorento is tough to beat.

Best and most features for the lowest price point.
It is a great car. It is the second Sorento I have owned. Both have had the least amount of maintenance of another vehicle I have owned including Toyota. The Sorento has more features for a lesser price point than any other similar vehicle on the market. I have driven it for 100 miles a day on a daily basis for time spans of well over a year and have experienced minimal issues.

Great affordable SUV for mid size family.
Overall my vehicle is a great SUV to own. It has been extremely reliable so far. It gets fantastic gas mileage- typically 27mpg. It is very spacious with the 3rd row option. I love the chargers on the second row. The trunk space is very small with the 3rd row up. There are several blind spots around the side/fronts of the vehicle, so I have to double and triple check when pulling out.

My loved Kia Sorento that is great on fuel.
My car has a rear backup camera and also can use google maps or waze through my cellphone. The car also runs its own diagnostics. I love the ride I get and the miles per gallon. Very comfortable seats and plenty of cargo room. I do not think there is anything about the car that I do not like.

Strong v6 engine that gets good gas mileage consistently very quiet cabin is nicely appointed. The only issue I have had was the battery needed to be replaced after only two years, but that was covered by warranty. Really is a comfortable car to drive and ride in. It also is a good looking car.

I love the backup camera, really helps with backing into spaces. I like that their are USB plug ins in the front, in the middle of the car, and in the back with the third row seating. The seats are very comfortable, but my last car had heated seats, these do not and didn't come standard in the New England area.

Perfect car for a family (and dog!).
I love my Kia. Living in Oregon, having AWD is an important feature during winter conditions. The cab is large and roomy and can comfortably fit my kids and dog. Filling up on gas is much cheaper compared to other vehicles I have had. While it does not have much “kick” to it (my last vehicle was a turbo engine), the drive is smooth and very comfortable.

Happy grandma - car for everyone.
Very reliable. Little to no problems. It is fun to drive. I wish it were easier to hook up uvo and other programs, but that is probably my fault and not the car's. I also wish I would have gotten third row seating, but the back is big enough for any trips to the store. I love the backup camera. I love the netting in the back that keeps my groceries from spilling all over. It has a lot of features that I haven't even played with yet even though I have had it for 2 years. I am happy. I would buy it again.

Great bang for buck vehicle!
No blind spots, easy to drive, comfortable no knees hitting the side panels, great pep for a 4 cyl. Great bang for buck! We looked at other similar models and they all had issues with blind spots or just plain uncomfortable. There are plenty of electronics and connections so you do not need to buy the nav system with the care. Your phone works great connected.

I love everything about my car.
The lift in the back doesn't automatically open. You can press the button on the remote to unlock the lift but you have to manually open it. For a car that's over $30,000 the lift should automatically open. I wish you could lock the seat positions. If someone else drives my car, it takes a while to get the seat back into my comfortable position.

It is a very good vehicle for the price.
First new car in many years. It is a pleasure to drive and has many features which were new to me. Zero problems thus far.

Smooth driving smart car.
It is a good car. It drives smoothly like a sedan, but has plenty of cargo space like an SUV. The Bluetooth and apple CarPlay features are great as apple CarPlay can be used with any app that is on your phone to listen to anything and for navigation as well.

Reliable strong truck with great security features.
This SUV has made me feel safe with my newborn. It feels reliable and strong. It has a third row which has fit a lot of people on the truck for road trips. Has also been very handy for home improvement and purchasing big items since all seats go down. The features are also great like with any new car these days.

Very economical on gas. Very spacious. Love that 3rd row option.
Super economical on gas, roomy interior, love the option of having a 3rd row. It is a smooth drive. Honestly feels like you are driving a luxury car without the luxury price. Haven't had any mechanical issues either. It is my second Kia and once lease it done I plan to lease a Kia again.

Great vehicle, family car.
Comfortable seating in front, and 2nd row. The 3rd row is convenient, but not a lot of legroom. The trunk area is spacious when the 3rd row is down. SUV is easy to drive, great in all types of weather, and good on gas. I haven't had any issues with the vehicle since getting it, as long as you maintain it properly.

Perfect size vehicle with third row.
Great car. The only thing I do not like is that you cannot get text messages only phone calls. It would. Be nice to get the text messages read aloud to you. I love that the seats can be heated and cooled which is a great feature. It is also not to huge and not too small which is perfect for a family. The third row seats are not that comfortable though but does the job. I would say two adults can fit in the third row.

Good, comfortable ride in a dependable vehicle.
Doors are so heavy to open. I have shoulder issues. I wish that this year model had a power tailgate. The seats are comfortable. Can adjust height and slant levels. The tire alert on the dash comes on every time that the tires are cold. So in the winter it is on a lot! Annoying when the tire pressure is ok. In all it's a very reliable vehicle. It's the second Sorento we've had.

Not impressed. Purchased for warranty and reviews which was a mistake.
Do not care for interior. Not as comfortable as I originally thought it would be. Not as roomy as my previous vehicle. Has blind spots I struggle with. For the price, not very impressed. I will not buy another of this vehicle. The voice to call is terrible compared to ford and Nissan.

Small details, like built in sunscreens in the back windows & recline seats.
I wish the back had more leg room. It is pretty tight. Have to have legs at a slant. Bought because it was a seven seater but it we use all seats there is literally no room in the trunk for storage. A small stroller would not fit. Maybe like 5 grocery bags max.

Owning a Kia sonata has been our most valuable purchase. We love it.
Drives smoothly. Too noisy when on a long trip. Cool and comfortable. It has dial heating but not cooling. I want the sir on my chest husband wants it on his feet. Creates argument. I love the radio speakers and I still like to play my CDs. We are able to carry our suitcases with problem. The engine turns great. The gas mileage lasts a long time.

Very versatile and dependable.
It is very roomy. I have had no engine problems, very versatile for transporting people or converting for transporting items. Everyone is always surprised how much I can fit in it. Lots of little storage spaces up front and the seats are very comfortable.

Travels smooth, good with turns.
Feel the bumps. Difficulty with hatch. Rear camera has no warning sounds. Don't like the color. Passenger seat is too low. Too expensive. Handles well. . Good breaks. Vents for air work great. Enjoy turning car on with my app. Back seats seat only 2 people. Uncomfortable. Back seats don't go down all the way.

The car has all wheel Drive and is good in snow here in up state New York. We are satisfied with this vehicle.
This is the third Kia Sorento we have had, the service is great and the vehicle is very dependable. We update every three years. And are satisfied with all the features provided.

It is the best vehicle for all of our needs.
Our Kia Sorento is really enjoyable to drive and ride in. It is smooth, comfortable, and a pleasure to be in! We very much enjoy our Kia Sorento 2018. We take it everywhere we go because it has great gas mileage and it is fast enough for all of our needs.

It has a very roomy interior.
I love our new Kia Sorento. It is a sleek looking, very attractive, sporty SUV. The interior is very roomy, and with the 3rd row seating, we can carry several extra people, as well as any baggage they have with them such as strollers, diaper bags, backpacks, etc. It rides very smoothly, even over potholes and railroad tracks. The dual a/c is awesome too, because the driver and passenger can each control the amount and temp of the air each receives. There is plenty of storage in the front of the vehicle as well, with storage space under the dash, in a closed compartment, more storage between the 2 seats, and more in the glove box. The drink holders are large enough to hold big cups without having to wiggle them back and forth to get them out. I also like the split 2nd row seating, so 1/2 of the seat can be positioned up, in the seating position, while the other 1/2 can be folded down. This is great if you travel with a large pet in an even larger pet crate. Our 70# silver lab sits securely in her crate as we take her for walks to the park. All in all, I would call this a family car because you can fit your kids, their stuff and even your pet!!

Review of the punchy 2018 Kia Sorento ex v6.
The v6 engine is great - very punchy. I enjoy the look of the rims on the ex model - both the size and the design. The car handles well, but is a little shaky when accelerating at a high rate. The leather interior is very comfortable and spacious - the third row is a very nice addition to the vehicle. I enjoy the large display and apple CarPlay functionality.

This vehicle is fun to drive and gets good gas mileage.
My vehicle is so comfortable and looks good, the color is beautiful. I cannot believe what good gas mileage we get with it. The warranty that it came with is excellent and gives us peace of mind when it comes to things going wrong with the vehicle. I really enjoy driving this car!

Dependable, safe, easy to drive.
Great performance. Tows our 21 ft. Travel trailer easily. Have driven Kia brand for last 5 vehicles/16 years with no problems at all. . . Only general, basic upkeep i.e. Oil changes, etc. Very happy with Kia.

This is a great family car and the warranty gives you peace of mind.
Our Kia is great! We are a family of 5 and needed a car with a third row. This car has been able to adapt to our family. I wish the headlights were stronger. When we are in poorly lit areas we need to use our high beam lights. The dark gray color is great. It easy to drive and it is easy to make right turns. The warranty is one of the main reasons we bought from Kia. We keep our cars for a long time. This is a car that I can see my son learning to drive in!
