2019 Kia Sorento Reviews

I love the Kia Sorento. It is very spacious and has tons of room in the back of the third row option is laid flat. It has high roof which is nice for being six foot tall. The interior is easy to keep clean and the dash is easy to keep in good condition. I have had zero issues with the car and it runs very smoothly. It has different drive modes including sport, eco, and comfort. If you are taking a long road trip the comfort option is very nice and makes for a very relaxing trip. The back up camera is very handy and shows a large portion of the area when backing up. I would recommend this car to anyone who has a family of four because it fits everyone and their things. If you have more than four people riding and are using the third row then there is not a ton of storage space but enough if you are not going anywhere for a long time.

I absolutely love my 2019 Kia Sorento. I love the fact that it has third row seating and it is pretty roomy. It is good on gas and I like the fact that you can switch between comfort eagle sport and smart mode while driving. I like that the car has apple play and is easy to connect and also the fact that I can talk on the phone send text messages and I have GPS all on my dashboard. The car is big and holds a lot of room if you have a big family. I would definitely recommend this car if you are considering purchasing a car for the family or going on trips.

My vehicles performs well, it's a seven seater so it accommodates for a large amount of people or for a family. It did take me some time to figure out and navigate through the setting on the screen. One problem I do have frequently is the touch screen glitching or freezing up. One trip I took a put my vehicle in reverse and that triggers the backup camera to come on, but when I put my car back in drive it was frozen on the back camera and even after shutting the car off it didn't correct the issue. After a few hours passed with the car shut off it started back working.

It runs very nice, smooth, and quiet. It averages about 16 to 24 mpg in town and about 30 plus mpg highway. It has 3rd row seating. I do not like that the takeoff is not quite as quick as I would like. I also wish it had a memory for the front seats and a lumbar extension also. It has been a very reliable, responsible vehicle. The ac is very powerful and like that it has dual sided controls. Very pleased with this vehicle and the size and comfort.

I love my Sorento! It handles very well in any weather condition. The back seat has your typical 40/60 split to access the third row. The third row is great for kids, but very tight for any adults to sit in. Without the third row up, I can easily fit groceries and my double stroller! The hatch even has two hidden storage compartments perfect for storing extra baby gear! The backseat easily fits two rear facing car seats with both the driver and passengers being comfortable. It's definitely a mom/dad type of car! The seats are very comfortable, and the dual heat/air is wonderful. There are rear vents in the back to help keep the temperatures in the vehicle comfortable for everyone. The android auto aspect has a lot of flaws. Its freezes alot, I would prefer it to connect 100% through Bluetooth.

I absolutely love my Kia. I have three kids and all who play sports and it fits us nicely, along with my husband. It is not too big, like a suburban and not too small like a Sportage. The seats are like a microfiber, not a cloth but not leather, where water just wipes right off. When all three rows are up, there is not very much room in the trunk however I typically just put my youngest in the back and leave one seat down for us to put in sports equipment.

My 2019 Kia Sorento is my family's primary car, and there are about nine of us. This vehicle is used very often and so far it is a decent car. Our Sorento does the job we purchased it for which is getting us to our destination and back. However, it is a basic car with an all black interior and exterior with no extra features. I call it the “soccer mom” car. So far the interior is holding up, the a/c is still in good condition especially living in Arizona the temperature during the summer is extremely deadly! The heater works as well; the interior seating is still in good condition no matter how many times we spilled coffee on it. We really like the leniency of the back seats for comfort. They fold down or back if needed. We carry our three very large German shepherd dogs in the back and they fit comfortably. In terms of the exterior: in my opinion, the car is super bulky; when I drive it I feel like I cannot see my blind spot in the front side! Right now, our brakes are not still enough and our warranty quit on us which is a pain! Kia needs to figure out better terms! The whole car shakes when we brake at a stop light. It is pretty dangerous if you ask me. Overall, I think the Kia Sorento is a generic car which functions to drive you to your required destination safely and it may be better if you opt out for the other more awesome add-ons.

This car has many good features. It is an suv that has a third row available for use. Trunk is very roomy. The front and back seats are not has spacious as my previous car ( ford edge). The car performs well on the road.It has many safety features as well. I like the style of the car. It is a nice car and easy to drive and maneuver. The care has 4 different “speeds”. It has a sport speed, economy, a regular speed and one that will use different speeds depending on the road condition. The car gets good gas mileage. It averages 20 to 21 miles per gallon. I did have an issue with it this year. The plastic undercarriage cover came loose and caused some problems. That is the only thing that has gone wrong with the car since I purchased it in october, 2018. The car is a good one for the price that I paid.

My favorite qualities of my 2019 Kia Sorento are the comfort and the luxury. The seating is hands-down the most comfortable I have ever sat in. My bottom does not get sore/restless/cramped up or anything and I have traveled about 7 hours at a time (with bathroom breaks, of course). The vehicle is also very luxurious for the base/standard model; I love the sunglasses holder, the large middle compartment and armrest, the material of the seats (and again, the magnificent comfort of the seats), the stereo's sound system is crisp and clear and has great bass. What I do not love is the performance of the vehicle upon getting up to speed (specifically on the highway); there's a few different drive options such as eco, sport, comfort; the vehicle seems to transition and run much more smoothly on eco mode rather than sport mode. When I get on the highway in sport mode, my engine really roars and gets very loud very quickly, and sounds and feels like I am damaging the motor/engine. Also, in sports mode, every time I touch the gas (very lightly) after being at a full stop, my tires squeal like I am trying to race someone or show off.

My girlfriend bought this car about a year ago brand new. The very first thing I noticed was that it had a hard ticking sound when it first started as well as what sounded like an issue with do you exhaust manifold with a very uneven idle. One year and close to 30,000 miles later that has not seem to affect anything it is been a good car no complaints. I am quite impressed with the computer system that it has on it that has the ability to wake you up if you are swerving. Ply firm brakes if you are needing to come to a quick stop helps you avoid swerving etc. The four-wheel-drive does amazing in the snow doing 80 miles an hour I still feel comfortable driving.

My Kia is by far the best car I have ever owned. The interior was thoughtfully designed for comfort and convenience. The width of the car really contributes to its comfort. My husband is over 6 foot tall and needs a lot of room. He can drive and ride comfortably in this car. Plenty of headroom too. The pickup of the v6 is amazing, almost too much at times. I also love the versatility of the third row seating. I just cannot say enough about this car!

This is overall a good car. It does fairly well in the snow and is decent on gas. It has a couple of different drive modes which I switch often. Its large and fits a lot of bigger things. It has a third row which goes up and down. It can fit 8 people easily. I currently lease my Sorento and for the price I was very upset when cooling started pouring out of my vehicle. I have had it about a year and a half and the radiator blew. All in all, I do not think I am going to lease another Kia. When I leased my Sportage, the engines transmission wouldn't switch gears.

Have had no problems so far. Very roomy, can fit 3 car seats in back seat, and also has a third row. Truck space is huge when you are not using the third row. I have the base model and it doesn't look or feel that way! Love the technology in the car of being able to connect to my phone and use the Waze app, music, calling ect and having it displayed on the media screen. Also great clear backup camera gets displayed there too. Also gets great gas mileage!

This is our 3rd Sorento and the best so far. It is very quiet and comfortable and feels like a more expensive SUV. The precise handling and additional active safety features make this a vehicle I feel comfortable using for my family. The sxl model is especially great, especially in hot climates as it has ventilated (a/c) front seats and especially soft and great looking Napa leather. Technology is also up to the latest with wireless charging and android auto/apple CarPlay.

I love my Kia for all the electronics and 7 person seating. It drives and rides very nice. The inside is nice and roomy for riders and drivers. I wish it was a little higher up as I am use to driving a van. It would also be nice if the middle part of the second row pulled out for easier access to the back row. My kids and their friends are always stepping on the seats to get back there. And finally I wish it had more space in the back when the third row is being used. Barely enough room for my groceries. I see a roof rack in the near future.

I personally love our Kia Sorento, and have for the last two and a half years we have had it. We currently have three children, and two dogs. Having that many people in our household required we get a vehicle that could comfortably fit all of us without moving things around. The Kia Sorento gives us that ability with the fold down third row seating option as well as the spacious backseat. Living in Utah, we also needed something that did well in the snow and winter weather conditions. The Kia Sorento does fantastic in both the snow and on the icy roads with its all wheel drive option. I personally have had no issues with sliding on ice or getting stuck in the snow after having the Kia Sorento for two winters here in Utah. If you are looking for a good affordable sport utility vehicle that does great in the winter conditions, looks great, and fits all of your family comfortably, then look no further than the Kia Sorento. I cannot recommend it enough.

Perfect for a small family of 4 with room for more because of the third row. Rides smooth, super reliable, love the apple play that connects my phone to the screen and will read my texts if necessary while driving. Tires are affordable to replace. Prior to buying, research showed Kia Sorento did not have any major mechanical issues to worry about such as transmissions, engines etc. One major downfall is no top rack and no hatchback. Spacious trunk and comfortable seating! Seats come equipped with car seat hooks for the bottom of the seat and the top. Love this car.

My Kia Sorento is an affordable, quality automobile. It came with multiple different features which are wonderful. It is a roomy SUV without being huge and bulky. It is stylish and a solidly made car. I bought it off the lot at the end of 2019. There were many different vehicles to choose from, so I had my choice of make and color. I was able to choose the car that had the features I wanted. Kia is a wonderful and reputable company to deal with. I am very happy with my car and I would definitely consider buying a Kia again!
