Spacious car with ample room for road trips and great gas mileage.

The pros of having my Kia Soul has definitely been the space, smoothness of drive, and the height. The amount of space this car has gives me the room to travel with my dog, cat, and a couple of people comfortably. The height of my car is a lot more comfortable to me than getting in and out of a standard car. I no longer have to get really far down to get into a car and it has helped my back tremendously. I find this car to be a very smooth drive with the only exceptions being railroad tracks and medium to large size bumps. It also takes sharper turns which sometimes could be a bad thing because the car does have a warning for tipping during turns. The back windows are very tinted which I find to be a safety feature because I no longer have the fear of having to cover my stuff up in the trunk or back seat because people will see it. The seat head rests are the only con I see to my seats because sometimes they are uncomfortable if I have my hair up or if I want to rest my head against them. They feel like they are at an awkward angle. The back seats are extremely comfortable. There was a time I had to sleep in my back seat and it was almost as comfortable as my bed if not more comfortable. The steering wheel does move which is a bonus. I find my car heats up and cools down extremely fast. I would say within two minutes I am at the perfect temp. My trunk fits two suitcases side by side. I get 28 mpg city and have gotten up to 42 on road trips on the highway. With current gas prices I pay around $28 to fill my tank and I get 336 miles.

Pros and cons for a Kia Soul basic edition.

I have only had minor problems with my car. For one the battery dies quickly than what it should last. I have had my car for about five years and I already bought a battery twice. The performance on a Kia Soul is amazing and it fits almost anywhere. I never have a problem parking anywhere that may be small to the eye. I have a very economical parking spot in my apartment complex and my car fits just right. It is very reliable and so economical financially also. When the gas prices are at a fair price in a small town I only spend up to $20 every two weeks. When the gas price average is at its highest I spend $30 every two weeks. It is super comfortable for the driver as well as for the other passengers. It may look small from the outside, but it fits more than you think. I have had numerous family members take a ride in the back and say, “wow this is bigger than what it looks like. ” there is two problems I have. One I cannot replace the antenna myself because I would have to remove all top interior to get the main area where I must screw in a new antenna base. Secondly, my bottom area of the truck on a basic Kia Soul does not have enough room for a spare tire. I would of like to upgrade to a pro so I could get a touch screen radio and what not. However, all of these upgrade options are still open for this car.

Reliable and Soulful Kia Soul

Over the time I've had my vehicle I have experienced a few problems such as a few misfires in the engine, valve replacement, and some exterior fixes. However, it is a reliable car and has gone on many adventures with me and therefore has racked up a ton of miles in the last 6 years. It is a smooth ride and the seats are comfortable. The only complaint I have about the seats is the color which is black so it shows all the dirt and gets rather hot in the summer. THe interior also hold on to any smells so lets say I couldn't ever be a Pizza delivery person because my car would forever smell like pizza. It is a basic model so it doesn't have a lot of features but it does have bluetooth which is always a plus. If I could update my car I would put in a sunroof and moonroof, a center console, new seats(fabric). Overall, it's a great car and has been very reliable to me as I have used it alot being in college and having to drive 5-6 hours to get home for vacations. I really do love my car and everyone says it drives like a go kart so it's fun to drive.

My Soul is super reliable.

This car is very reliable. I have had no mechanical issues whatsoever. My Kia Soul has 155, 000 + miles. Other than regular maintenance, it has only required a brake job which was about 3, 000 miles ago. My Soul is standard 6 speed transmission which I enjoy driving. It generally gets about 30 mpg and I do a lot of highway driving. Unfortunately, my particular model does not have roof mounting points in which to install cross bars for placing a roof rack. This was disappointing when I had renewed interest in camping and wanted storage to free up space within the car. I just purchased new tires and one tire had 49, 000 + miles on it and that is without being rotated. Oops my bad. My Soul has never required an alignment. I replaced the original battery about 3 months ago. The ride is a little bumpy at times and I wish there was a bit more room to place personal items in driver area. It has Bluetooth for handsfree talking. The rear seats fold down to accommodate larger items if needed. It has overall been a really great car.

2013 Kia soul: a reliable, surprisingly roomy, compact car.

My vehicle had been very reliable. I have been driving it for four years and I have had very little work done on the car. I have put 36000 miles on the car and the biggest expense has been new brake lines. It performs well, though I do notice that it can be touchy when moving in reverse, sometimes requiring a little more pressure on the accelerator than if like and then 'jumping' backward. With good snow tires I have had no problem getting through snow on the highway and in city streets - being a small car it does need assistance is parked in snow. It has a wonderful amount of head room which had been helpful when making trips to home improvement stores. I love how high I sit above traffic level - it allows me to feel as though I see more while driving. The Bluetooth feature is not terribly reliable, I usually have to make a call from my phone and use the car speakers for the conversation. Overall I am very happy with my car.

I'd say the most important thing would be it efficiency. It has great mileage, is compact, and a lot of cabin space despite its smaller size.

Fantastic to drive and very reliable overall. The space in the cabin is really nice as well considering the overall smaller size of the car. The visibility is great as well. For mileage, I get about 25 mpg in the city, and usually 30 mpg on the highway. I would definitely recommend this car to anyone who wants a well-balanced and affordable car - especially as a first car! My biggest complaint would be the AC in the car. Its had issues after just 1 year of owning the car. I had to go back and forth to the dealer to get it fixed, usually to no avail. It took 3 years for me to find a mechanic that actually knew what was wrong (the dial on the control panel had shorted out). So I'd say if you want this car, make sure your dealer has a competent and reliable service center. Other than that, this car has been perfect for my school and work needs.

It doesn't come with a spare tire. Only a can of fix-a-flat.

Don't like the fact that it doesn't come with a spare tire but only a can of "fix-a-flat". Upon using the car, I surmise that I can do without a sunroof in my next vehicle. I figured out that I do need more leg room in the back for my young adults and a slightly larger trunk space. The NAV System could be better or it might be me but I swear it sends me the long way around all the time! Just wished it was a manual. It has been a good car for the most part but now that the extended warranty has expired it is rusting in areas and paint is blistering. It averages 30 mpgs slightly less than what was advertised at time of purchased but the company has been making amends for it. I do enjoy me small car but if I could purchase a new one that provided me with what I wish for and could afford one - I just might buy it.

Love it! Zippy, dependable, economical and fun!

I was not a fan of the body style initially, but it is surprisingly spacious and comfortable. With the one of the back seats folded down, we have loaded 2 full sets of hockey gear, bags, sticks, the works and had plenty space for it all. It is economical ($25 fills my tank, as of today in colorado). The original battery was just replaced last week - after almost exactly 6 years and 65k miles!! The cons are that the interior fixtures (door handles etc) seem a bit cheaply made, and the coating on the door handles chipped after less than one year of ownership. I am not a fan of the fabric on the door panels. It looks great, but does not clean well and stains/fades easily. Mechanically this car is awesome. Its zippy and reliable. I wish they would produce a 4x4/awd version, as handling in the snow isn't great!

- Pauline E

My car has a lot of Soul!

Performance: Perhaps a little low on power. I feel like I need a little extra to get up to speed on the highway. Other than that, it handles really well. It has a tight turning radius. Features: Really good sight lines! There are large windows all around and hardly any blind spots. The head room and leg room is very ample. Taller people have no problem in the front or back seat. The back seats fold down for added room for moving large items, etc. Comfort: The driver's seat is able to be moved up or down which is nice. After driving for 5 years I feel the seat may be losing some of it's support. Reliability: Haven't had any major problems so far. The low tire pressure light is awesome! I would like to have an actual spare tire instead of the run flat/fix a flat that's included right now.

The greatest sweet 16 gift!

My Kia Soul is a reliable and comfortable car. It has survived lots of wear and tear that I have done to it over the past 5 years. There has never been a specific instance in which this car has let me down. Another great thing about the car that you don't see from the outside is that there is SO MUCH space in the interior. Anytime someone gets in my car they say 'wow these really have a lot more space that you would ever think!' One of only complaints I think I could make about this car are the interior door handles. The number of times that I, or one of my passengers, have twisted their finger in the handle or gotten their finger stuck is honestly uncountable. But that being the biggest issue kind of tells you how great of a car it is.

- Shelby G

Reliable commuter car for a city, not much else.

This car responds quickly, has good pickup and is compact enough to fit into every parking spot. I don't drive very often and so it's a realizable and good car for me. The touchscreen pads and general electrical response in the car is slow and at time frustrating, taking multiple presses or attempts before the action is taken. This is dangerous and distracting while driving. There is a feature of the car that is purported as being a perk where you can turn on inside lights that react to the music you're listening to. This desire is very distracting while driving and so I e never use that feature. For my needs of getting where I want to go and home it's a good car, but for pleasure and enjoyable driving, and style it falls short.

Nice size car for its price

2013 Kia Soul is a good economical car for the price. I spend about $20 dollars to fill the tank and depending on how much driving I do that would last me about 2 weeks. The biggest downside of this car is that there are no a/c vents in the back. This is important to me because; 1) I live in Florida and 2) I have little ones ( a 6 year old and a 5 mo. Old) who ride in the back. In the sweltering heat they barely get any cool air even on full blast when we first start the car and have been riding for a few minutes. Once it cools down the kiddos are happy in the back. Other than that Kia has come a long way from its inception and the cars are getting much better.

The Pluses and Pitfalls of the Kia Soul

The Kia Soul has a very good turning radius and storage space for its size. The gas mileage is fairly good at around 20 miles per gallon after 6 years of usage. It has plenty of backseat room for our 50 pound dog to stretch out when he goes on drives with us. I find the seats to be comfortable, which is important to me. As for negatives, we've had minor issues with the headlights going out and needing to have the bulbs replaced. The factory tires that come with this vehicle are very bad and don't last long at all. Vehicle is not 4-wheel-drive and not high enough clearance for serious off-road driving. Good entry-level vehicle overall.

- Katherine G

Amazing old model with all the modern conveniences. Very underappreciated.

Amazing features with the GPS system, rear view camera, etc. The interior is just as sexy sleek as the exterior (have a cherry red one) with the leather seats. The seats themselves are a little hard instead of poofy, but I guess I'm extremely used to cheap foam and fabric covered seats. Only reason I take off a star is because this is such an old model that the dealerships and workshops hardly give it any respect. They sold it as new with multiple things wrong with its electronics. The rear view camera didn't even work. Sent it to the shop, and it came back with a different problem of a huge chunk of paint missing off of the roof. :P

We love our Kia soul car. Enough space inside for a family of four.

Since we bought Kia soul in 2013, we have been happy with the purchased. Even though, it was owned before, it was in good shape. We have noticed that it saves on gas, and for a family of 4 or 5 members, it was a good fit. We can put the back seats down, and that allows us to put music instruments and bicycles to go on trips. The first three years, we took it to the Kia auto service, and it was worth it because it has last till today without any serious problems. Even though, the service in Kia are sometimes more expensive than doing it in a local auto service, it has helped to keep the car in good shape.

- Melody M

People should know that the gas lasts longer than it claims to.

I have had my Kia soul for over 4 years now. This has been my most reliable car. I did purchase the car already used. Have not had any major issues. I always pass my state emissions with flying colors. When it comes to reliability I feel as though the soul truly helped me during a cross country move. Moved from AZ to NC with no issues. The car is roomier than you imagine with it being more of a compact car. My only con is that my soul did not come with a spare tire. Other than that, I would recommend this car for anyone who needs a family car or just an everyday to work and out and about type of car.

- Gracie F

Affordable, reliable, and spacious.

I have had no issues so far with my car. It is very reliable and roomy for it appearing to be small on the outside. My car is more of a base model but it still comes with cruise control and power window and door locks. Up until this past year I lived in a northern state where we got a lot of snow in the winter. It did pretty well and I never had a problem but it doesn't do as well as a vehicle with four wheel drive. It also gets decent gas mileage. It's a good choice if you want the feel of an SUV without it being huge. I recommend my car to everyone and where I live now they seem to very popular.

- Jamie G

Kia Soul nice to get around in the city.

I like that I was able to buy this car for under $11k with only 32k miles and in good condition. The interior is quite roomy for 4 adults, very nice a/c, audio is good and drives comfortably. The main complain is the power, I got the + model which has a bit more horsepower than the base model but still not enough to accelerate quickly. Once the car gets up to 45 mph it accelerates much quicker. I also wish it had bigger trunk space, mileage is also not very good compared to what other similar cars give you. Good for getting around the city, easy to fit in smaller or tighter spaces.

- John L

Its compact but surprisingly spacious.

I love my Kia soul +, it is a 2013 year model. There are some things that I wish it had that the newer models have. For example I wish it had a backup camera, and I wish it had seat warmers. I don't think I have ever had any issues with its performance. I know for a fact that my soul is absolutely reliable. I actually have recommended the make and model to many people. If I had to purchase another vehicle I would be likely to say that it would be a 95% chance that I would buy the exact vehicle just a newer year model. Overall I love my Kia soul + so very much!

- Courtney F

The perfect-sized 4 door with lots of space inside.

I love my vehicle! It is not too small, but also not too big. It is very spacious on the inside and provides lots of legroom for the front and back passengers. The drive of the vehicle is very smooth and it can fit into small parking spots that other wider vehicles might not be able to. It has excellent gas mileage. I fill my car up no more than once a week and it is always less than $25.00 ($2.50/gallon price). The leather seats add to the luxury of the vehicle and the outside is very sleek and shiny. I've had my car for four years and I absolutely love it.

- Mari F

Very happy with our Kia Soul.

No real problems with this vehicle. It is been everything that my husband and I need. It is a comfy ride and we have plenty of room to haul groceries, small pieces of furniture, etc. Extremely reliable and handles well. Wide wheel base allows for great handling on curvy roads. We live near the mountains, so that is a plus. A lot of pep for a 4 cylinder engine, and we get great gas mileage. The only negative we've heard (and this does not really bother us too badly) is that it is not the quietest as far as filtering out road noise on a busy highway.

- Anna S

Great price and great quality!

I have had my Kia Soul for a year and a half! It has been a wonderful car. It is reliable and I love that it is small in size, because I can easily maneuver through traffic and fit in tight parking spaces. I have two children who are both in car seats and there is still room in the back for a 3rd car seat if needed. I have had to replace my battery but other than that it has given me no problems! Mine is a standard, which to me is a huge plus! They also sell them as manuals. I would definitely recommend the Kia Soul to anybody.

- Ashley B

The Kia Soul is a reliable, spacious and safe vehicle.

My car, which I purchased used, has been very reliable for me. It currently has 110,000 miles on it and I still don't have any issues. I have had to get my brakes maintenance and got 4 new tires. I like the cloth seats and the style of the car. It is much bigger on the inside that most people think. I can fit large items in the back when I put the seat down. I would upgrade my base model to get more luxury features, like a backup camera and heated seats, if I had the choice. I think I will get another Kia Soul in the future.

- Cate P

It very well designed to meet your need such as space and room the seats.

Well I purchase this Kia soul October 2017 took on a test drive before I bought it. What I truly love about my Kia it have plenty of space just what I needs. I also like the fact that it drives very smoothly on the highway the suspension handles the rough terrain very well. But the only thing I don't like that the cost of gas we pay does do well driven short distances very bad on gas but overall this car has the best features navigation system backup cam extra windshields and the back very good car.

- Jessie E

Living it up with the Kia Soul.

The only problem that I have had is how easy it is for the windshield to crack. Both me and my wife's car has had the same problem. Both windshields have got rocks thrown into them and it wasn't from driving in high speed traffic. The only other issue I have had was blinker bulbs going out. It seemed like one went out and the next month the other went out. With that being said it is a easy fix for anyone who has a little mechanic experience or enough skill to follow directions from a how to video.

- Jason S

Small for an SUV but roomy.

We have not had any problems with our 2013 Kia Soul. Its very reliable & will get up and go when you need it to. Seats are comfortable and lay all the way back for those long road trips. I love that it came with 6 months free XM radio also. I love that if one of your tires are low it tells you which tire when you first turn your ignition on. It is also pretty roomy for a small SUV. Just what I was wanting. My husband didn't like Kia Souls at first. Now he does. If that tells you anything.

- Melissa H

2013 Kia Soul. The good, the bad, and the ugly.

I really like the gas mileage it gets; nearly 30 mpg. For such a small vehicle, it is very roomy, at least in the front seat. Passengers in the back do not have a ton of room. The major downfall is the small gas tank. So although it gets great gas mileage, you have to constantly fill up. Also, simple tasks such as changing a headlight can be quite frustrating due to the compact space under the hood. Overall though, it is a great and reliable vehicle. I drive it over 100 miles every day.

- Joseph O

I love my 2013 Kia Soul. Safe, affordable, reliable, comfortable, spacious.

The 2013 Kia Soul gets great gas mileage. I feel safe driving on the road and well protected. The vehicle is very spacious and the back seat fully folds down for extra storage when needed. My only complaint is the power when going uphill, I am able to and I am never worried of breaking down or not arriving at my destination but it takes a little longer due to the minimal power when pressing the gas traveling uphill or from a stop position. Otherwise, a great vehicle and proud to be an owner.

- Claire S

The Kia Soul is the perfect car for any demographic. The current design & fun features are inviting to young adults. While the safety features & great gas mileage make it a first choice among adults.

The Kia Soul was my first vehicle & I've loved it since day one. I drive up & down the east coast monthly, so the Soul's great gas mileage has saved my wallet plenty! Safety features like the 360 airbags was an important decision maker when I purchased the Soul. I feel safer when I drive knowing I have the great technology protecting me. Aesthetically the Soul is amazing. The interior is comfortable & inviting. Paired with the great sound system & fun speaker lights, every drive is a party!

- Sydney W

Kia Soul is perfect for summer and summer only

My biggest complaint about my Kia Soul is how poorly it does in the winter. If there is more than one inch of snow on the ground, I either have to shovel myself out or just wait for it to melt if I even want to go anywhere. It is horrible on the ice. With that being said, my Kia is amazing in the summer! The A/C works super fast, it's spacious and the radio is perfect for road trips, but at the same time, the gas tank is fairly small, and eats gas like to tomorrow (in my opinion)

- Alex D

Reliable, cool looking car!

The only problem I have had with the Kia was the need for a new fuel pump which just recently happened. I love that the Soul sits a bit higher than a sedan allowing for clearer road view. The cargo space is perfect for travel when the back seats are lowered. The car has been extremely reliable and when I lived in the Midwest it handled snow and ice very well which made me feel safer. The Kia is a really hip looking vehicle and comes in many bright colors. Mine is neon green.

- Peggy R

Reliable and easy to park in small spaces.

It is not very comfortable because it is too small, it is reliable, no big problems so far. It is size it is good when you are looking for parking because it does not take up a lot of space, especially when driving downtown Chicago. It is not comfortable for the people sitting in the back, you can really feel every bump on the street. The trunk is too small, can barely fit groceries. It is not good hen taking long trips or going on vacation because of the reduce space.

- Luz Z

How the Kia Soul has served me

My current Kia Soul is my second one, and once this one reaches the end of it's life, I will upgrade to the newest one at that time. Both of my Kia Souls have had a very smooth drive, easy controls, and is shockingly spacious on the inside. The gas mileage has also been a great plus to having such a compact car. I can drive from Dallas, TX to Houston, TX and still have a good amount of gas in the tank. Lastly, a small bonus to the compact car: find parking anywhere!

- Carson S

Best car I've bought, love my Soul

I have actually had very few problems with the Kia Soul. The car was a great price, it gets good gas mileage and it is spacious for its size. The only issues I've had have been a cracked windshield and also a large dent in the back top part of the side of the car. Other than that I have had very few mechanical issues and I can easily say that this car is as an amazing purchase for the price. If I could do it again I would definitely get the Kia Soul in a heartbeat.

- Christopher S

I love this car. Great for city use.

I really like this car. It is much better in the city than on the road though. You can really feel the wind when traveling. I wish it was a little more plush, but it is not too bad. Mine is red which makes it easy to spot. My only real issue is that when you put the car in "park", it unlocks all the doors. This is a real safety issue for many reasons. And unless they have come up with something new, all the interiors are black. All in all, I have been pleased.

- Debbie T

A-1 performance & roominess.

It is the best all-around vehicle! Plenty of room for four passengers plus extra room. Folding down the rear seats allows for a ton of space for carting a weeks worth of groceries for a hungry family of four. The vehicle performs well and has few problems. Outside of regular maintenance, we've spent little on service. It is cool features from the sunroof to the many interior lights to the adjustable seat belts for height make my Kia Soul the perfect vehicle!

- Lisa R

Kia Soul has a lot of potential.

I really like my car! I love how you can put ecosystem or not which I use a lot when I drive short or long distance. It has a smooth ride. One thing I do not like about the car is even when I turn off the a/c or the heat the air is still blowing a little bit. But overall it is a pretty good car! It has a lot of legroom in the front of the car and in the back of the car. It also has enough space in the trunk especially with two little ones it is just perfect!

- Ruth D

I love the sunroof, most cars do not come with them anymore.

Great car, very reliable, great on gas, very roomy and it has a supreme sound system. I just do the regular maintenance on the car. Great car for the price. I have been offered several times, to sell it back to the lot, but I drive my cars until they start to be a money pit. The Kia Soul is just the opposite. I highly recommend it to anyone that is looking for a reliable and reasonably priced car. Whether you are young or old, you will enjoy driving it.

- Susan S

Kia -- The Good, the Bad, and the On Fire.

After just 6 years, the paint has faded and the car now looks awful. Mechanically, it's great. I wish I could fit my bike in the back. I have to use a bike rack. This car has come technological features I never use. They were a waste of money. I worry about the car catching fire while I'm driving it. This has been happening to other Kia vehicles. That's why I have a glass breaking/seat belt slashing device at the ready whenever I'm driving it.

- Gary B

The Kia Soul + comes with light up speakers that was a fun surprise.

I drive about 20 miles daily to work and have had very minor issues with this car. I've had some minor issues with the AC but otherwise nothing that could make the car handle poorly or unsafe. The car handles very well in summer but winter it can be a bit sketchy since it is a small car. The car looks very small outside but it has a lot of seating and legroom as well as trunk space. Overall it handles and rides very nice and is a nice, smaller car.

- Megan H

My black soul. Because my 2013 Kia soul is black with black tinted windows.

I love my 2013 Kia soul! It's compact yet surprisingly roomy inside. I love that it's easy to drive and because it's small car, it really handles well getting into small tight spaces regular sized cars normally wouldn't be able to fit in. The sound system is amazing equipped with Sirius or I can connect Bluetooth & listen to whatever music app I am in the mood for. There's really nothing to complain about with my Kia soul. I absolutely love it!

- Christine T

My favorite thing about the Kia soul is the space in the interior.

The Kia soul is super fun to drive. It is also great on gas! Great if you have kids and a busy lifestyle. Very roomy interior and plenty of room for cargo. I would totally recommend this car to anyone, from single college student to a busy mom of three. I have had no issues to date with this car. I have had it for 3 years now and have not had to see a mechanic for anything other than general maintenance, like tire rotations and oil changes.

- Renee W

Very roomy and excellent features.

My Kia soul is the most comfortable car I have ever owned. It is very spacious and designed for a comforting ride. With the seats folded down the back can carry a much larger load than expected. The added features of standard Bluetooth connectivity and iphone integration make it a great vehicle for the price. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a versatile but not large vehicle and plan to purchase one again in the future.

- Tony T

2013 Kia Soul-great gas is the best thing about this car

I have noticed that this car goes to the shop more than any other car I've had, but it still runs well. The plastic is made very cheap and rattles almost constantly, but I've blocked it out. My paint is coming off and I'm not sure how that's happening, but it's splotchy all over the hood/side panels of my car. Gets great gas and is the perfect size for me. I still find it weird that there are no arm rests on the front seats.

- Shelby W

It is the hamster car, after all!

I love this car. It is peppy and fun to drive. A cool feature is the ring of lights on each inside front door panel that 'play' along with the radio. Speaking of the radio, the stereo system in this model is amazing. On to practical matters; the back is roomier than a lot of comparable cars I looked at. I have honestly not had a single problem with this car in the nearly three years I have own it... Knock on wood!

- Tracy K

It's a Trooper! Does what it should and its economical.

My Kia Soul is a real trooper. Despite 3 somewhat moderate accidents it still runs great. It does everything it should and responds well to tune ups. Handling is nice, and does ok over potholes. It's also good on gas in my opinion. Takes about $20 to fill it up. If I need more trunk space folding down the back seats is easy and the air pump that the car comes with comes in handy when the tire pressure is low.

- Maria D

If you're a large person, this is the best car for the money and for your comfort.

I bought my car used, and have had zero issues with my vehicle! It handles great, the gas mileage is really good, and there's a great deal of space in this car. I'm a rather large guy (over 400 lbs) and I fit comfortably in the driver's seat. Only issue is the legroom in the back seat. Being a tall and large individual, there's not enough room to sit behind me when I drive. All in all, fantastic purchase!

- Ernie T

The perfect roomie car for me.

So far I have loved my vehicle. The second day I had it the low tire pressure signal went on and I filled them up and haven't had any problems since. It gets pretty good gas mileage and the eco button is nice to have. The car drives well and does not drive loud like some people says it does. The Bluetooth is nice to have and the connection is loud and clear through the car which is nice as well.

- Rylee H

Love this car. Great purchase.

I absolutely love this car. It is compact and perfect for the city, but does not feel like a small car when driving it. There is great visibility and it is very open in the front. This car gets great gas mileage. I got mine with really low miles on it, and feel that I will have this care for quite some time. I love the shape, design, and color of it as well. It is very comfortable for travel.

I think my car is the perfect size for me and I would recommend it to others.

I really love my Kia Soul. It gets great gas mileage and is very low maintenance. I think it is very reliable, even driving in the snow during the winter. It is so comfortable I even drove it on vacation one year from Indiana to Florida. It is big enough to carry lots of stuff when needed, but small enough to get good gas mileage. I love the unique design. I would definitely buy another one.

- Mel K

Its sporty fun good on gas roomy for size

The only thing I'd like to improve is the suspension and find out and fix why it eats tires. I put 3 sets of tires on it in a year and the mechanics say it's because of the way it handles that nothing is wrong, just the body and how it turns.I'd like my radio speakers to be nicer and louder as well and more light shows in my whole car not just my cup holder... do that and I'll buy a new one

- Nicole K

Dependable and affordable car.

Kia souls are great cars. They are reliable and a great value for the money. I drove mine across country multiple times and never had any issues. While they seem very small on the outside they are quite roomy. I have always been able to enjoy my car and the gas mileage is a huge plus! If you are looking for a fair priced, dependable car, with some simple upgrades it is a great fit for you.

- Samantha M

2013 Kia Soul! An All-Around Great Car

Very dependable, stylish car! The 2.0 litre 4 cylinder has plenty of power with avg MPG of 27. I really like the fact that the engine has a timing chain instead of a timing belt that requires changing every 60 to 90k miles. Microsoft UVO entertainment system sounds amazing! Easily put in as many miles as a Toyota or Honda - I put nearly 300k on my last Kia and it is still running strong.

- Kip F

Basic low maintenance reliability vehicle

Performance is average; easily picks up road noise. Reliable; comfortable; basic features; nice trunk space; nothing special just average basic model; no outstanding features model is 2013; no arm rest; it is roomy for its size; cost effective; is reliable transportation; low maintenance vehicle; no major issues or problems nice starter car for someone; do like the anti lock brakes

- Dawn G

Front wheel drive. Clean engine. Long lasting battery. Black with a lime outline.

So far nothing but good reviews for me with my Kia Soul. I must admit I do keep up with the maintenance on this car regularly. I purchased this car in September of 2016 with 31000 miles and now it handles 89160 miles to date and still runs good. The only issue that I have ever had with the Soul was a warrant recall for the undercarriage which was taken care of without an a problem.

- Sierra T

Greatest little big value car.

I really like my 2013 Kia Soul but there are some drawbacks that I do not like they are the doors sucks air when you are driving down the road and when it is parked for a few days the brakes rub when you back up and take off. I really wish it got better gas mileage. It has lots of room inside and you do not have to stoop to get in I have had it 6 years and no problems.

- Sharon A

This is why I love my Kia Soul.

The car is larger than it looks, I like the fold down cargo area, the manual transmission is easy to shift through. The radio has very good quality. The only thing that I do not like is there is not controller for both side view mirrors, to adjust the passenger mirror I have to stretch over to the little lever, which is kind of difficult since I am under 5 foot tall.

- Grace B

The turning radius of the car is exceptional and very easy to control.

I love the shape of the car and most importantly, the amount of space the car has for storage. There is a decent amount both in the trunk area and in the rest of the car overall. It makes both transportation of people and transportation of items easy. The nest best feature, the shape, makes the car easy to see in crowded parking lots, and is just pleasing to the eye.

- Melody S

The soul's engine is more than adequate for a car with its curb weight. It cruises comfortably at 70MPH, and is responsive when called on to go faster.

I love the Soul's roomy passenger compartment, responsive engine--it's quick off the mark and easily maintains highway speeds--and window placement, which affords excellent line of sight. The seats, however, are not very comfortable, it is difficult to adjust the headrest so that it doesn't force my head forward, and the MPG is lower slightly lower than advertised.

- Victoria L

It's much roomier than it looks! You think you would have limited leg room, but that is simply not true.

The vehicle is quite comfortable, but does offer slight cabin noise when going over 50 MPH. I notice that my oil is still very clean even when I reach 3k miles. My rear driver side window motor just recently failed, however that is a fairly easy fix. I like the legroom the back of the car offers. It feels like an SUV while still offering the gas mileage of a sedan.

- Amber B

It is spacious for a small car.

I love my Kia. When driving you feel free, it feels so light when you take turns and when you are switching lanes on the expressway. Even having 3 small kids,( 3 different car seats) I find my Kia the perfect car for me, I definitely recommend. The trunk space is actually very spacious and pretty deep. I can fit my double stroller and also have room for more.

- Krystal G

Sometimes runs smooth and takes where I need to go.

Reliable but sometimes have trouble starting, interior is mildly maintained but not up to date technology. Also there are several scrapes and scratches on the outside it overall it gets me where I need to be so for now it's okay I guess. I wish I could just upgrade but I owe more than what the cars even worth so I don't see that happening in the near future.

- Jessica A

Dependable Black 2013 Kia Soul

My car seems small from the outside but has a lot of legroom and trunk space. My car handles well in the weather and excessive heat. There are issues when driving in the snow but if I drive slow my car is usually easy to handle. I have had it for almost a year and it is closing in on 90,000 miles and has never had any major issues. It is very trustworthy.

- Haley J

The Eco drive feature sucks.

The Kia soul is a really great car. Very reliable. Only issue is the Eco drive, when you come to a complete stop the engine shuts off temporarily and then restarts when you take your foot off the brake. If your running on a low battery this could be a problem. Good thing is that in the older models, like mine, there is a button to turn that feature off.

- Julie E

She is my buttercup! She drives smooth and sweet!

I have had my Kia for almost two years and love it. I have not had any major problems as of yet, just regular maintenance like oil changes, tire upkeep. I have traveled many miles and been comfortable whether I am driving or a passenger. I love the leg space in back as my family are long legged, so having an economy car that fits tall is wonderful.

- Annette V

Fast, great gas mileage, affordable, comfort needs work, dependable.

Headrests are at a weird angle. Great gas mileage, dependable. No breakdowns. Have driven it across the us and it is comfortable although the seats could definitely be better. If you need something with a lot of legroom in the backseat, this is not the vehicle for you. It also does not have a lot of storage as far as needing to get groceries etc.

- Kari L

My awesome little Kia Soul.

My Kia Soul is extremely comfortable, reliable and sporty. I wish it had more room in the trunk, more cup holders and the cruise control worked consistently. The stereo has awesome sound and the Bluetooth speaker system is very clear and works wonderfully! Other than that I love my little Kia Soul. If I buy another car it will be another Soul.

- Bridget L

Recalls, replacements and repairs.

I have replaced just about everything on my car after only 2 years of owning it; new brakes, new tires, multiple sets of windshield wipers. And the list could go on. There is also a recall on my vehicle as it is. I have not been notified of what actions I have after this recall which states that the engine has a high chance of catching fire.

- Bianca W

Specs that highlight the busy family

The vehicle drives like a car including a comparable gas mileage. It is much more spacious than it looks. Plenty of trunk space for groceries and I really enjoy the hands free features. It has the ability to have satellite radio, which is great for music buffs. Safety locks makes me and my family feel secure. Handles well and rides smooth.

- Becky W

I love my Kia soul - it is a sturdy car.

I have had my Kia for 5 years and it is great! I have done the drive from Florida to Maryland many times and the car is still in great shape! Only on the second set of tires and wipers. A great size car for a starter car or if you live in a city. It is high enough off the ground you can see well, but not so high it is difficult to get in.

- Hanna W

Great car for very reasonable price.

I have had no real issues with this car. The cost of maintenance is very reasonable. I like that it sits higher than a regular car. With the back seats folded down it can fit a lot of stuff in it! The only this I would change would be the quality of material on the dash and doors, as it seems to scratch easily and does not clean easily.

- Lauren R

Fun to drive. Good value for price.

Zippy car that gets good gas mileage around town and on interstate. Does not have much power, can be slow to start and can be especially slow if start is going uphill. Mostly been reliable, just had to change factory battery a couple of months ago. Engine light comes on when taking long trips, sometimes comes on in extreme heat or cold.

- April M

Small and compact but very spacious and reliable.

Drives really smooth, never had any problems with it in the 5 years I have had it! Small and compact but also very spacious on the inside! Engine runs smoothly and car sounds nice when driving! I have rented windows. The seats are comfortable. It is small but it can hold 5 people. The beat is huge for luggage and other things as needed.

- Maddie J

A nice car with many features.

My vehicle is very dependable I have not had any major problems. It drives like an SUV I have plenty of room the back seats fold down for more room if needed. I have room enough for my granddaughters car seat I also love how good this car is on gas. The stereo system is great. There are many ports for an iPod, phone charger and more.

- Barb G

The Kia Soul is small and compact though perfect for any family!

The car is perfect for new moms, with a roomy back seat and a deep trunk to lug around a stroller. The car also has convenient features, such as cruise control, Bluetooth radio and power locks and windows. The downside to the car is that it does not have the best gas mileage, though it is inexpensive to fill up it does not last long.

- Danica W

My Kia Soul review and costs for maintaining it.

No problem with the car. Great on gas. The car has an awesome turn radius. The seats are not so comfy but it does the job. Tires are relatively cheap for this module, brakes are on par as far as pricing. The car heats up quickly on cold days. The price of a replacement battery is up there. Too bad it didn't have auto headlights.

- Rebecca K

Super good gas mileage. Makes it nice to drive on trips.

Very nice riding car. Very few problems with the vehicle. Great gas mileage. A lot more spacious than it looks. Very happy with the Kia Soul. Good handling vehicle and does not ride roughly like you think it would being a smaller vehicle. All around good vehicle. Plenty of space in the back for cargo and groceries. Like the car!

- David S

Lots of space and drives great! Best car I have ever had

I love this car. It big enough on the inside to fit in a lot of people or a lot of stuff but small enough to get into tiny parking spaces. Only things I don't like is that it does not have a spare tire, lots of problems there and that it is a little loud. i mean a lot of the outside noise can be heard compared to other cars.

- Loren r

Kia Soul efficient, but uninspiring.

It is a reliable vehicle, but comfort and handling leave something to be desired. It wouldn't be my first choice for a vehicle, if I were shopping for one now. I have no complaints about its reliability, but I would choose something with more cargo room next time, but for fuel efficiency the Sole rates high in this category.

- Jim G

Kia Soul is Spacious, Affordable and pretty Cute, too!

The Kia Soul is a great, affordable vehicle. Smooth riding and great gas mileage! My passengers often comment that while it may look like a small vehicle from the outside, once you're inside it has a TON of headroom and plenty of space. I would recommend the Kia Soul to anyone looking for a great car at an affordable price.

- Francis J

Decent wagon, dependable, cheap.

Solid little car however there isn't much get up and go so to speak. The key to my ignition broke, no one can find replacement parts. Handling is great in the snow as long as there is weight in the car. Audio system is beautiful. Although the car is compact it holds a bit and with fold down seats it's easier to move cargo.

- Chelsea P

Spacious sleek Soul, it is an awesome spacious vehicle.

I really enjoy the spacious inside even though it does not look like there would be that much space by looking at the outside of the Kia Soul. I enjoy the look of the body and the sleekness. The seats are not that comfortable though. Overall it is a good vehicle it just was not my main decision to have that as my main car.

- Kyra C

Small car, but big impact.

Great car! Small, can parallel park anywhere, but durable. Seats fold down so you have a ton of space. Does not feel small. Backseat is big enough to fit 2 comfortably. Only negative is that it is really light and does not do super well in snow. It is not four wheel drive or all wheel drive, so you can't be that surprised.

- Steph S

I thought it was interesting that even as the basic model it came with power lock and windows and bluetooth capabilities.

My 2013 Kia Soul is the basic model, meaning it's stick shift. I mainly bought it because it was super affordable and although it was the basic model it still has bluetooth capabilities. I have not had ANY problems with this car. It has taken me from Mississippi to Seattle to St. Louis, to Fayetteville, to Washington D.C.

- amber s

Great car not outstanding in any particular area but great gas mileage.

Great gas mileage and interior room. Not a very powerful car meaning it's a little drag trying to merge with fast traffic or go up a hill and a lot weight will slow it down a little. Also the boxy shape wasn't very sporty or cool looking to mean but it grew on me. Overall an overall average vehicle with good gas mileage.

- Jason R

Check out a Kia Soul today.

No problems at all other than slight blind spot backing up. I really enjoy the ease of driving of the car and the uniqueness of the look feel of the car while on the road. This is a car I would highly recommend to anyone out there. Certainly check out a Kia Soul if you have the opportunity, you will not be disappointed.

- David D

Great roomy car that I enjoy.

I like the comfort of the seats in my car. I like the Bluetooth feature to sync my phone so I can talk hands free. I like that it has cruise control. I is roomy to put my dog kennel in the car to haul my dogs. It has the color interior I like that doesn't show dirt. My car gets great gas mileage which I like and need.

- David T

Its looks and feels bigger on the inside. Also there are minimal blind spots because of the huge front window.

It looks small and trendy but is extremely comfortable on the inside. Great for kids and bluetooth is standard! I also love how much i can fit in the trunk especially when i put down the back seats. The gas mileage is amazing. Only problem i have had is with the battery.i for some reason have gone through 2 already.

- Trazon D

It is red, I love red cars. Also has really good speed for a 4 cyl.

I can see well, I am only 4'10", the seat is comfortable, it has a 2. 4 Engine which gives it lots of get up and go, the gas tank is a little small so it has to be filled more often but that is not a real problem. It has room for 5 passengers in the back seat. Back seat fold down to give more room for carrying items.

- Marcia G

The Kia Soul is a sturdy little car!

I love my Kia Soul! I have never experienced any mechanical issues with it. In fact, I have just replaced the brake pads after 3 years of ownership and have yet to need to replace the clutch. The interior is much roomier than we had anticipated and has worked well for car trips with 2 teenage kids. Highly recommend!

- Jamie S

The amazing amount of room on the inside of the car.

It has a lot of get up and go when accelerating onto the highway. Amazing how much room it has in it when going on trips or loading groceries, etc. Comfortable on long trips and both of us have back issues. Reliability is great. We have never had a problem with the car and would highly recommend it to other people.

- Karen W

Soulful and sweet space for a starter family!

I have had absolutely no problems with my car but I would say I just need a little bit more leg room in the back. And maybe a little bit more trunk room. I love that it has an active eco feature to help with gas mileage. I get great gas mileage. It has been a very comfortable and reliable car for our little family.

- Lacey C

The interesting details about my car is the rear view camera.

The car is low and when you hit any type of bump you feel it intensely. The car is small so I wouldn't suggest buying if you have children... however, the car is great on gas and has luxurious interior. I have heated leather seats, touchscreen monitor, rear view camera, the speakers light up, and I have a sunroof!

- Renee B

Noisy and Skips More Than It Should

I gave my 2013 Kia Soul a rating of 3 stars because of mechanical makeup. Kia did not put much thought into making a vehicle with little to no noise. This Soul makes plenty of strange noises. Also, the engine only gets so much power so the quick switches from break to gas causes the car to feel like its skipping.

- Tranyce P

Kia Soul: the vehicle you need.

There have been no problems, but I wish it was able to haul a trailer for my wheelchair. However. It holds my chair in the back with one seat folded down. It is easy for me to get in and out of. It is very easy to drive and handles well. Despite its smaller size, there is ample legroom in both the front and back.

- Gayle H

Kia Soul, a nice ride for a great price.

Very spacious for a smaller vehicle. Rides comfortably. No major problems after two years of ownership. The only problem is the difficulty of changing headlights. Some minor electrical issues that causes the low tire pressure light to stay on. Equipped with Bluetooth and other modern features. Great gas mileage.

- David E

Lovely car but slightly outdated features.

Seats are a little hard, nice drive very smooth, great gas mileage. Love the fact it has an ecoboost option, quiet engine is lovely. Great sound system within the car, touch screen radio not very responsive especially when it is cold out. Love the interior of the vehicle and the lines of the car are beautiful.

- Kaitlyn M

Word of caution steering wheel issue.

Once steering wheel came loose while driving. Had to get it fixed. They finally did a recall for it. Extremely dangerous. I drove my Kia from Florida to Kentucky there were no issues with the trip, but after the trip that's when the steering wheel came loose. Nice cruise control option and smooth ride overall.

- Christopher T

I love my Soul! Cannot wait for my next one!

I love my Kia Soul - somehow it is small on the outside yet roomy inside. It is been a great car with few problems until now - only because I have over 125000 miles on it. Of course, that is to be expected and I just try to be proactive with taking care of maintenance. Hoping to get a new one in a year or so!

- Kim Z

Small in the exterior but the interior makes you feel like you are in a SUV.

Very comfortable. Unfortunately not good on gas for long distance drives. Feels like a SUV which is nice for comfort and protection. Seating is comfy as well. Drives well. If you like to speed, this is not the car for you. Brakes are touchy. Speakers are nice and loud. After a while the details chips color.

- Angie G

Love my little red toaster!

Great gas mileage! Very roomy. This is our primary vehicle, and we take it everywhere. It is great for long road trips and going camping. Great features as well: heated seats, sunroof, navigation, lots of storage space. It is compact so you can park it in smaller spaces that a lot of cars will not fit in.

- Kate B

If you want a car that has Soul then drive the Soul.

The Soul really has Soul! I love the speakers that you can change the colors and how you want them to light up. It's very comfortable, it feels like an SUV. Just enough room for 2 kids and a laundry basket. I don't like the fact that it could roll and it's not a car to be speeding through the streets in.

- Teen H

Kia great car, minimum repairs, good gas mileage user friendly.

It has a smooth ride. I have had very minimum repairs. It gets really great gas mileage. I have . Taken it on several trips and never had any never any problems. I love it and hope to have it for years to come. I would highly recommend Kiya to car buyers. I would probably buy another when the time comes.

- CW W

This car is great for road trips!

This is the first care I have ever owned, and it was the best investment I have made! I have driven this car cross country several times, and I have never had and problems with it! Very comfortable for long trips, and the speakers are wonderful! I love just driving around and getting lost in this car!

- Ashlyn S

Kia Soul deep wheel wells

Back seat well is too deep and difficult to lift your leg into if recovering from an injury. Not much storage space in the hatch, either. Shallow dashboard, things slide off. Nice deep glove compartment, comfortable seats. Cup Holders could stand to be farther apart in case cups are both large.

- Lura P

Fun and reliable car a great value for the money.

A fun car to drive handles well has a spacious and comfortable interior has great braking and good mpg a drawback is that the car lacks acceleration issues how I enjoy driving this car and would highly recommended the Kia brand I have not had any major problems with this car good value for the money.

- Jan P

Perfect non 4 wheel drive winter car.

I have had my soul for 5 years and it handles great in the snow, I have all season tires, it requires very little maintenance, it is comfortable, it is cream colored and I just love it, I could use a little more room but we have an extended cab truck for that, but it fits in a lot of parking spaces.

- Christine S

Spacious, eco friendly affordable family vehicle.

The Knox sensor has been acting up ever since I bought it. The factory parts are pretty cheap but the car is quite easy to work on. It gets good gas mileage. It is not huge but can i fit a good amount of things. Parts are also relatively cheap. The Bluetooth and eco friendly additions are fantastic

- Rache F

I would buy this car again.

I have had no problems. Car handles easily and is responsive. Power suits my needs. The interior is well designed. I am under five feet but have had passenger in the front seat who is six four. My ability to see is great and the passenger can sit in the front seat without his head hitting the roof.

- Benji A

Honest Kia review, regarding interior.

Great on gas mileage. Cute. Efficient. Difficult to clean interior. Good pickup for the gas mileage. Not all that comfortable seats. I am short, so there is difficulty seeing all of the dash readouts. Not all that great on air conditioning/heating, when windows cracked. Love the hatch and storage.

- Tammie J

Great gas mileage and spacious!

I love my Kia Soul! It has an eco friendly feature that allows you to use less gas while driving. I get great gas mileage and the car drives very smooth. It is comfortable and spacious, and the back seats fold all the way down so it makes it very easy to pack the car and travel with items in it.

- Katie K

Afford and functional car with great gas mileage.

My car is reliable and very functional. For the cost it is a great car. In winter I wish it had all wheel drive, but traction control is good. I would recommend this car for someone who does not have a lot of money to spend on big car, but needs to be able to move items, like as big as a chair.

- Susanne R

Not Perfect, but Comfy and Modern

I love my Kia! It's super comfortable and has a lot of great features like Bluetooth connectivity. I use it for work, so the extra room in the back comes in handy! I wish it was a bit more fuel efficient (it's not terrible though) and this seems silly, but the cup holders are in weird places.

- Meredith L

Great car for a tall person.

No spare tire only a can of fix a flat which does not work on a blowout. It is a roomy car and I don't hit my head getting out. The ECO works great at saving gas but lose performance, but in my area not in that much of a hurry so no need to pass. The interior is not bad for the price you pay.

- David R

Smooth ride, and ease of guidance.

I like this car but it uses too much gas. I especially like the low tire warning. It is sleek looking. I like being able to crank it without my foot on the brake. I dislike the tiny bit of cargo room. I like the amount of tinting on the windows. The black interior shows up every little thing.

- Carolyn S

It has a lot of room for packing stuff.

My Kia Soul works extremely well, the car battery lasts for an extremely long time, and the speakers are top-notch. The Kia Soul is perfect for those who want to travel to fun destinations like concerts, or parties. The perfect example of a head-turner. It looks beautiful and I love it.

- Lauren W

Fun, small car for a single person or married couple without kids.

The vehicle was great when we first bought it but we have since outgrown it size wise. It has a very small interior and it is expensive to fix when something does go wrong. Also, Kia charges you to perform necessary software updates on the car and doesn't alert you to when they are needed.

- Erin S

2013 Kia Soul - brief overview

No real issues with reliability. Seems to burn through oil. Headlights difficult to change and need to change often. Seats are medium comfort, but good drivers position for visibility. Not great for super long legs as the seat doesn't go back too far. Roomy back seat and great storage space.

- Jessica L

Overall a good vehicle to drive.

The vehicle had a few electrical issues. The dealership said that there is a chip that can get confused when 2 people with different driving styles use the vehicle which cause some issues with acceleration. I had the chip reset and am now the primary driver and have not had any more issues.

- Kyle P

It has a great sound system. Music is easy to play with a USB cord.

The car is spacious and comes in a nice shade of light green. I see people driving the same car all the time. It is very easy to maneuver, and it is a very comfortable ride. Even the back seat is comfortable and installing a car seat is very easy. It is a safe and fun car to get around in.

- Amanda T

Me and my Soul. This car is comfy with all of the features needed.

I have had no problems with this vehicle in almost 6 years. I do feel that it is a bit small when shopping or if I need to haul something but part of that is that I always have my pets with me and they take up some of the space. My Soul is reliable and comfortable but not overly expensive.

- Bobbie C

The way it drives is so smoothly even after 5 years of usage.

Drives smoothly even after 5 years of usage. Does shake sometimes when driving. The inside is big and perfect. The gas is great and very cheap. I love the size, I can easily maneuver around. The color (alien green) is such a unique color and I like that there are so many other nice colors.

- Alexis W

It's like an amazing mango

No problems it's a very reliable car! The radio works amazing, the car is very peaceful and comfortable! It doesn't go very fast but it gets up to speed quick enough and the oil changes are relatively cheap, and it's a very sturdy strong car ! And for the prices they are they are worth it

- Jonathan N

Kia Soul is the best small car.

I absolutely love my Kia Soul. The only issue I have with it is the color, which is green. Most Kia Souls have bad colors, but it does not bother me in terms of performance. I love the auto pilot, the a/c is always excellent (we live in FL, we definitely need it) and it is amazing on gas.

- Flavia J

The eco boost is a favorite detail of this vehicle for me.

Love the fact that it sits up higher than a normal car. For a small vehicle, the interior is spacious. You do not feel all boxed in. Very comfortable ride. This vehicle has really good gas mileage. Low maintenance and extremely reliable. The only slightly negative would be the road noise.

- Patricia B

The best car in the world!

I love my car! Hands down best car I've ever owned. It's reliable and gets wonderful gas mileage. It's also surprisingly roomy. Looking at it from the outside, you wouldn't realize how much space there is inside! As a tall person, I have plenty of legroom both in the front and back seats.

- Brittany B

The Kia Soul. Like color, style, and ride

Color red is my favorite, handles good, comfortable inside, roomy, adequate space in back of back seat. No problems so far. It's a manual transmission, so has held up good. Drives good. I will get another one in the future. Would recommend Kia to others. Reasonable price for what I have.

- Cheryl V

Kia Soul: reliable with some issues.

My Kia Soul is a mediocre car. I do like the height and look of it. Unfortunately the clutch has gone out twice and the starter once. It has been fairly reliable other wise. The gas mileage is good. The interior is roomy and the back seats fold down which makes transporting things easier.

- Laura F

Wonderful Kia Soul I love

I love my car. I totalled it a few months ago and it saved my life. So I got the exact same year make and model of car. My mom loves it. She cried when she saw the wrecked one. It drives great. It gets great gas mileage. It looks small on the outside and has tons of room on the inside.

- Johnnie C

Sleek, practical, large windows.

The 2013 Kia soul is very good on gas, feels safe, large front window, makes boxy turns, easy to park and pull out, looks nice. Some negatives currently are that it has low hp, the ac unit has a leak and it makes boxy turns. I really do enjoy the Kia soul, it is the best car I have had.

- Cher A

Comfortable Compact Fun Car

I love my Kia Soul. It's compact yet holds 5 people comfortably. The back seats can be flipped to make the trunk bigger. It handles really well and gets great gas mileage (average around 30 miles/gal on highway. Drove cross country and back (N.C. to N.M. last year with no problems.

- Amy C

The Kia Soul is the perfect size and surprisingly roomy.

I overall I love my Kia Soul. It is the perfect size. It is small but very roomy. The back seats fold down to provide extra room if you need it. I used to have a sedan so it did take some time to get used to it is unique shape. The care is very reliable and gas friendly which is great!

- Liz A

The Kia is the perfect car to take to college.

As a whole, the Kia should is extremely reliable! It is the perfect size car for a college town, both big inside but compact enough to fit into small spaces. The cruise control is extremely hard to work. If you do not get it on the first try you most likely will not get it set at all.

- Emily D

2013 Kia Soul Review - Issue with Trunk Struts

The vehicle as a whole has been fantastic. The gas mileage has been great for the age and wear and tear of the car, especially when eco mode is activated. The only issue we've had is that the struts no longer hold the trunk open, instead we have to jam a wooden plank in to hold it up.

- Daniel W

This car has surprisingly great features for a car in it's price range.

I like the style and versatility of the vehicle. I like the way it handles and I feel comfortable driving it. I do not like the thin tires which allow the wheel rims to scrape on the curbs. I also do not like the the interface between phone and Bluetooth as it continually disconnects.

- Mark F

Saves money on gas and have plenty of space. A reliable car.

It's reliable, the brakes work Great! and it has a eco mode which saves on gas. The seat warmers are helpful especially when we go on a road trip. You can connect your iPhone or smartphone thru Bluetooth. It has NAV system and a Sirius subscription. It has a back up camera and roomy!

- Aleia J

Amazing Kia Soul with manual transmission and Sirius xm.

My Kia Soul is a manual transmission and so I have pretty low maintenance which is wonderful. It is a great car to start out with if your on a budget. This car would help a college student with transportation either to school or work. Kia has a good car when it comes to the Kia Soul.

- Mary L

Pros and cons of Kia Souls.

Performance is ok. Idles a little rough. Gam mileage not as good in town. Rides rough in the highway. Better gas mpg. Not big enough for my family. It does have more room than people would thing. If you are thinking about expanding your family, the Kia Soul is not the vehicle to get.

- Jessica F

Kia Soul: a good value for anyone.

The Kia Soul handles very well, has good pickup for a car that small, and gets good gas mileage. The one drawback would be that the tires can have the tendency to pop easier than other vehicles I have had. Overall the Soul is a really good car and I would recommend it to many people.

- Joe C

Kia soul: a great car for a working mom.

Problems- car vibrates while driving sometimes, does not have the option to flip the mirror for bright lights at night. Performance- cannot exceed 90mph. Reliability- very . Comfort- very comfy! Features- nice interior lighting in cupholders and foot areas, excellent stereo system.

- Sky S

She's a great lil runner, good gas mileage, great stereo system, few problems.

My car has been great on gas mileage and has had little to no problems at all. I keep the oil changed regularly. I have had it 3 years now and it does have wear and tear, the glove box broke, and I have one tail light that likes to pop a fuse other then that she's been a great car!

- Shannon M

The Kia Soul gets great gas mileage. It is made very well and requires minimal repairs. Fun to drive, easy to park and roomy inside. This is the best car I have ever owned.

My Kia Soul has been the best vehicle I have owned. It gets more than thirty miles per gallon, is fun to drive and has had very few issues. The only repairs we have made we're battery replacements which were easily handled. My Soul also has a lot of interior space for a small car.

- Shannon M

Is actually bigger inside than it seems.

I love my car. I love the cute style of it and it has everything. Loaded with leather, sunroof I just wish it had more get up and go for when you need to speed up quickly like on the interstate for instance. All in all it is a pretty comfortable car and just enough storage for me.

- Amanda R

The Kia Soul has personality and pick up.

I mostly like the boxed shaped look of the vehicle. It also drives very well and is fairly good on gas. For a box shaped car it has good pick up, although it being a six speed manual transmission helps. It is comfortable as well. I would have rated it a 5 if it had cruise control.

- Rose C

The joy of owning a Kia Soul.

This is a great small SUV type car. Great gas mileage and very low maintenance. Easy to get in and out of for my elderly mom and dad. With fold down seats easy to pick up medium size items. Has a great navigation system and rear camera. Oil changes and light bulb changes are easy.

- Anne M

Head over Heels for Kia Soul

I absolutely love my Kia Soul. The only problem I have had was with the alignment. Performance has been great, reliability is stellar. I love the features and the comfort is outstanding. It is the perfect car for me and I plan on getting a newer version whenever I need a new car.

- Amy W

2013 Kia Soul is a great car to drive

The car is completely reliable. I love how smooth it drives and there are different styles of drive available. The gas mileage is very good and I enjoy the features. The touch screen radio screen that has CarPlay available makes driving anywhere in the country fun and enjoyable.

- James D

Amazingly small size turns out to be just right.

It is a fun little car. Great gas mileage. Seats my 5 comfortably for local commuting, grocery shopping, etc. I have never taken a long road trip so I do not have an opinion on that. I like the high ground clearance; it makes it easy to jump curbs and create my own parking spot.

- Tammy N

Compact - dependable and affordable.

Compact & comfortable - eco and great on gas, easy to park and get around - a variety of colors and options. Love how the stereo is and the different custom options in addition to the base model - get a Kia if you want to be happy with what you are driving on the road everyday.

- Casey P

My Kia soul might be small but it's got a lot of soul.

My Kia gets the job done! I don't like that it only has ac vents in the front people sitting in the back seats do not get cooled down fast. It doesn't really have that get up and go it takes a few sec to get up to speed. Don't keep out road noise. It does have side airbags tho.

- Marjorie F

The Kia soul--a good basic car for driving around town, but not for long hauls.

It is a basic model that we originally bought for our daughter. So, no CD player, which I miss. The engine could be stronger. It has no fancy screen to use like on the newer models. It is good to drive, easy to use, but no real seat adjustments like I have had in other models.

- Yvonne B

Fun and economical and roomy car.

Fast, good on gas, comfortable, reliable, fun, handles well, hydroplanes very easily so tire inspection is a must and the body is fragile so it is not good for clumsy drivers, great on the interstate and for in town driving, good brakes, tight steering range, not a winter car.

- Amber D

Awesome vehicle for space

The best thing about my car is its had mileage. I get around 30 mpg in town and 36+ mpg on the highway. The second best thing about my car is the space. There is plenty of leg and head room for anyone of any size. The back seats fold flat for an amazing amount of cargo space.

- Tammie W

Comes equipped with solar glass it's great for helping protect your eyes.

Sometimes it feels like driving a go cart. And driving in high winds requires added Focus. It is fuel efficient and easily maintained. It's easy to get in and out of on days I feel old. Just wish I would've chosen another color there are too many in my same color on the road.

- Kaye S

A very good car, with the price,

No problems with this car the best vehicle I have owned, have it serviced every on time each time had it since 2013 and have 78,000 miles and have put one set of tires on it,, so serviced regularly, and drive it, good on gas plenty big enough for me as a one person household.

- Iris S

It is the most affordable vehicle on the market and is quite roomy despite It's small size.

It is reliable and was inexpensive to purchase. It is small, yet roomy. It gets awesome gas mileage. The engine does not have much pick up when the vehicle is full and I would like a larger, more powerful vehicle. Considering the price, it is the best overall value available.

- Shawn R

Comfortable, affordable, efficient.

Reliable, comfortable, plenty of space, safe and efficient. I can see really well while maneuvering the car, the drive is smooth. I love Kia, the car is high quality. Perfect for road trips, plenty of room for the kids and animals. I really enjoy the look of the car as well.

- Jenny P

My vehicle is roomier on the inside than it looks.

I like the look and size of my vehicle. I like that it's easy to park and that it sits higher off the ground than a sedan. I don't like that the engine isn't as powerful as I would like, especially when driving uphill. I also dislike the gas mileage and wish it were better.

- Brittney W

Kia Soul great family car.

I love thru Kia Soul. It's a great car and gets excellent gas mileage. I've had very minimal problems with it. It's a car I would definitely recommend. Its very spacious inside and has plenty of or in the back to fit extras items. Its s great family car and we all love it.

- Katie W

Dependable, fuel efficient car, greet for a small family.

I have owned my Kia Soul for two and a half years and haven't had really any problems. The vehicle has great gas mileage. The vehicle is more roomy than it appears and rides comfortably. It does have louder than average road noise. I feel this is a great car for the price.

- Tonja F

My Kia Soul has my Soul, and I love it.

I really do like my Kia, its very easy to handle. The side mirrors are really easy to adjust so that if your driving you can do it with little to no hindrance. The only bad thing I have to say about it is it does not drive well on extremely rocky slash back dirt-ish roads.

- Alexis B

I love this thing! I now pronounce us Soul & I

Love it! The both the big dogs fit in, with plenty of room, when the back seats are down. I've driven it across NC & back numerous times & it's still running great. The paint on my bumper has started to peel. That's all the negative I have to say. It's a great car

- Emily P

Great small car for in city driving.

My car is very reliable, comfortable to drive and it takes me from point A to point B. Easy to drive has great leg room. Great head room as well. It is fabulous on gas. I would recommend you test drive it and see if it is a car you would like. Wireless feature is great.

- Martha W

May look Little but roomy car

Very good gas mileage. Looks small but very roomy. Did have windows motor defect but fixed under warranty and in a timely manner. Love the eco to save gas. Back seats fold down for the extra room for bigger items. Does have car seat anchors in each section of back seats

- PATRICIA R

Best car ever. Great on mileage. Awesome to drive long distance. Roomy interior.

Trunk too small for large boxes. Well on gas & mileage. drive very smooth. Trunk small for large luggage. Very roomy interior. Single unique color of black. Cherry. Great car for long trips. Hard to clean the roof. Do not have room for a spare. Tire.

- Keenan K

Great gas mileage and loads of leg room.

Good gas mileage, never had any problem, very reliable and has great leg room in the front and the back. Also has sufficient storage for groceries, the seats let down for more storage. Can park in any parking space as it is a smaller vehicle. Would buy this car again.

- Sherry O

Kia soul, fun car but has a couple problems.

The car drives well and has a high turning radius. It gets good gas mileage if driving on the interstate and okay gas mileage in the city. Only problem would be that the cruise gear does not always work like it should. It is not a deal breaker though. It's a fun car.

- Alexa B

The Kia soul has great gas mileage and is a very reliable car. A great family vehicle.

I have a 2013 Kia Soul and absolutely love it. It has been a very reliable vehicle with no major problems. I went from a Ford expedition, a much larger vehicle to the much smaller soul and have been very happy with the smaller size. I highly recommend the Kia Soul!

- Judy L

My car has beat speakers that light up, and go along with the beat.

I absolutely love my car, and wouldn't want any other car for my first one. It is super reliable, and has really good gas mileage. It is making some noises on the inside of the car, but that is the only thing that I have noticed whenever I am driving it now a days.

- Skyler C

The most important thing is the front seat being high so that I can see the road.

Good for a short person to see out of front windshield, has a 2. 5 engine so as really good pickup and speed. Has room for 5 passengers, back seats fold down for more room. Rear window defrosters. Driver seat adjustable 6 ways. And it is the color red which I love.

- Marcia K

Awesome car! Great gas mileage, space, and easy to park.

Is very reliable has good gas mileage, is easy to park because of the size, also very spacious has more room on the inside than it looks on the outside. The only thing I am worried about is that in car accidents it is a very small car and there is not much support.

- Lauren S

The Kia soul is affordable, reliable and fun to drive with very little upkeep.

I have no problems with my vehicle. It is very reliable, but if you are traveling 10 hours or more, it does get uncomfortable. Thankfully, I have only done that a few times. If I were to purchase another Kia soul, I would add a sunroof and rear backing view camera.

- Susan F

My go cart with air conditioning. It's fun and sporty and I like the disco lights.

I researched and this car does not have many problems. The cloth seats are bothersome and the factory matts are not as good as they could be; the front passenger windows are not tinted. Sometime turning I feel the brakes slip. I wish I could put bigger tires on it!

- J C

What a dream car, this is definitely one of my favorite vehicles.

The Kia Soul is a really beautiful and amazing car to have. The interior is truly a treat to behold, the speakers are really high quality. The seats are very comfortable. It drives like a dream. I highly recommend this car to anyone who is on the market for a car.

- Mason S

I would recommend this car to anyone because it is so reliable.

My Kia is very reliable, good on gas, comfortable easy to drive, nice cargo space great features, roomy, easy to park, power steering, easy to maintain, power windows and steering, easy on oil, not too expensive, nice speakers you can charge your phone, CD player.

- Diane P

Easy car for gas rearview camera hands free phone.

Awesome, great on gas, car does well on the highway, very roomy, easy to handle/park, has a rear view camera and fold down seats for hauling, easy oil and brake changes owners manual, has hand free phone controls located on the steering wheel, really a great car.

- Edward H

My Kia Soul is the greatest of all.

I have no problems with my Kia Soul it has been very reliable from day 1. It is very comfortable and gets great mileage. It has been the best car I have ever purchased and I would highly recommend this car to anyone who may be looking to purchase a car from Kia.

- Esther B

Great gas mileage and smooth ride.

It is just smaller than I would like it to be. It is great on gas though and drives smooth. I love the eco button. I do wished it had a bigger truck than it does though. It has been a great car for my family though but now with another baby it is tight on space.

- Leigh L

It is a great car for families, and is easy to drive.

This is a great car for people who love the SUV/hatchback style but don't want a full-sized SUV. It is a little higher off the ground than most sedans, but is still small and compact. It has so far been reliable, is comfortable, and hasn't had any major issues.

- Amanda S

My 2013 Kia Soul has been reliable. It has a lot of room.

I've had issues with my Kia Soul alignment. Causing my back tires to wear out fast. Since 2013, I've had to replace my tires 4 times. I currently need new tires. Also the tire pressure goes low often. I'm currently having problems with my Bluetooth turning off.

- Chelsea T

Kia Soul: Packs a lot in a little

My Soul is reliable and comfortable. It gets great gas mileage and can haul a lot. I feel like I am driving a much larger car when I am in it, which makes me feel incredibly safe. It has needed little beyond regular maintenance. It has never given me a problem.

- Jackie K

Tile of my review would be comfortable

My Kia Soul is great. I like how it's not a low car it's just right. For the snow. Very comfortable for long rides. Big space in the back. You can push the back seats down. For more room. For storage. Good size car for parking. Not too small or big just right.

- Ana S

I think people need to know that this is a very fun car to drive.

The car is comfortable. Mine is a six speed and is quite peppy when you need it to be. The gas mileage is acceptable but I wish it was better. My only complaint it that because it is the base model there is only one place, the drivers door, to unlock the car.

- John F

Fun on the outside, comfy on the inside.

I love this car because it is just fun with a lot of personality. It is much roomier inside than it looks from the outside. There is good trunk space too for the basics. Never had any problems outside of regular maintenance. I would highly recommend this car!

- Penny D

My number one favorite thing about the Kia Soul is the gas mileage.

I love how the Kia Soul is efficient on gas, it makes traveling to and from wherever I want to go a breeze. I like that it's a smaller car but feels roomie. It's smooth to drive and is kind of sporty and fun. The Bluetooth is also one of my favorite features.

- Kaitlyn N

Easy to park and reliable transmission.

Really reliable. Have to replace windshield wipers quite a bit but always runs perfectly. Have to check tires frequently. Amazing car for the price and has a lot of interior space. Easy to park because of small size. Has manual option as well. Love this car!

- Olivia G

The music is great, turn on the music, loud and proud and start jamming.

It has a great color, roomie seating, at least for 5 passengers. Smooth ride, noise from outside is hardly hearable. Music comes in song or CD, and it has button to find what you need. Pick your station. Flashing lights when music is on. Get in take a spin.

- Linda B

This is a small car, but I can fit eight large moving totes in it.

My car really has not had any issues. The only thing is that when it gets cold - my tire pressure light is so sensitive that is says I have a low tire even if I do not, but other than that I have had the car for almost five years and haven't had any issues.

- Emily R

Review for the Kia Soul: My vehicle is spacious, reliable, and affordable. It is the size of a small SUV but the price of a car. The gas mileage is great and the wireless Bluetooth comes in handy.

I love the Kia Soul. It is the size of a small SUV but the gas and payments are way cheaper than an SUV. I have not had any problems out of it other than the interior, which is not the best quality but the great quality and safety features make up for it.

- Rebeccah H

It's good with gas, has a very comfortable feel.

I love absolutely everything about this car. At first i was afraid to drive it because i thought it was too big but It's smaller than some cars length wise but inside It's so spacious! I love the speakers in the car and It's really good with gas as well.

- soni w

The soul has a great amount of space with wonderful gas mileage in a sporty package.

A fantastic amount of space in a compact car size. Great miles per gallon average means a small gas bill. The physical appearance is unique and sporty. The soul is fun to drive and an overall great vehicle with minimal repairs that I've had to encounter.

- Heather V

Kia Soul: Amazing car, amazing mileage

The back seat is small. That is the only issue. Besides that it is a very reliable car. The people who sold the car was friendly, and the air conditioning is amazing. I love the car. It's quiet, and it doesn't leak, good gas mileage. The radio is amazing

- West T

I love my Kia Soul! Very spacious, easy controls to use, and very nice interior!

I love my Kia Soul! It is very spacious. Has a larger trunk with a hatchback. The interior is very nice. It has Bluetooth, a CD player and a radio. Several outlets for USB hookups. I really enjoy the cruise control setting. Everything is very easy to use

- Sarah H

Small compact with lots of room the back seats are easy to lay down.

It is comfortable, affordable, reliable and economical. It is green with black cloth interior and very roomy for its size. I bought it new and it only has 32,000 miles. Very little upkeep except oil changes and recently a new battery and tires. Love it!

- Shannon C

The 2013 Kia soul is an awesome car!

The only problem I have with the Kia Soul is the gas mileage. I thought that it would be better than it currently is. Other than that it is a great car, and I love it for the size and room. The trunk space is nice and an added bonus is the sound system.

- Kyra F

Great car and great price.

The Kia Soul gets excellent gas mileage. It rides very smoothly although it can be noisy at times. I am a big guy so it can be a little cramp a times but generally is comfortable, if you take care of regular maintenance it helps keep repair costs down.

- James C

Compact great for traveling

It's small enough to fit in any parking spot , it's big enough to not feel like I'm sitting on the ground it rides great, it's excellent on gas, it has 70,000 miles and still drives like it's brand new, I love the cream color and I can fit 2 car seats

- Christine S

I highly recommend it anyone. Like I said before, it give you the hauling space of an SUV but drives like a car. The inside is more spacious than it seems looking at it from the outside.

I love my Kia Soul. It's a great compact SUV. I can haul large loads, but still feel the convenience of having a "smaller" car. I do wish it had a few more fun features. My model is pretty basic, but it is the newest car I've ever owned and I love it.

- Jessica G

A modern and reliable car really full of "Soul"!

My experience with my Kia Soul has been overall enjoyable. I haven't had any major performance problems other than having to replace a few tires. I can definitely rely on my car. The only problem is that the interior gets ridiculously hot in the sun.

- Haley D

This car looks small but has lots of room. I have had it for 5 years and just got new tires.

Kia Soul is a reliable car. I like that it can be used to carry menu things. The back seat lays down and I carry a stroller for my dog. It is very good on gas I get 35 miles on highway. And 26 in city driving. I love driving this car. No problems .

- Gwynne R

This cars great on gas, has style, comfort, and reliable!

I just myself a used 2013 Kia Soul, which I love! I love how compact the car is from the outside, parallel parking is a breeze. I love when people get in they are amazed on how big it is in the inside. It's great on gas. I absolutely love my Soul!

- Roseanna R

It's a cute car that gets good gas mileage.

It's a cute little economical vehicle that gives me no trouble at all. I like the styling and the color. Great gas mileage in the summer but in the winter it drops drastically. It's fun and easy to drive. It's a boxy style but doesn't feel boxy.

- Barbara K

refined compared to American vehicles has a well thought out interior american vehicles are boring

small exterior with a huge and comfortable interior vehicle provides a comfortable ride car also provides excellent gas mileage and I love the refined look of the interior and exterior also very dependable way better than american made vehicles

- chris m

Roomy & great gas mileage.

Have had my soul since 2013 and it has been very reliable & fun. The roominess of the interior really surprises all passengers. Love playing the radio with the mood lighting that beats time with the music. A fun ride that is so reliable!

- Margaret K

It gets good gas mileage.

I like the gas to the gallon I get. I also like the size of my car, as someone who does not drive all that well it makes it easier. I dislike the fact that it is so slow to get up to freeway speeds; it takes a long time to actually go.

- Harley C

Fun car to drive and great gas mileage! Power everything and satellite radio!

2013 Kia soul very comfortable and stylish! Lots of extra features and great gas mileage! Right now it needs breaks, away bar and a sensor.fits three children comfortable in back seat though I do wish the trunk had a little more space!

- Nyoka W

2013 Kia Soul is perfect for my needs

Great car that gets from point A to point B. Love the sound system. Bought it used with 30,000 miles on it and haven't had to do any fixes on it since I got it 9 months ago. Only had a couple of electrical issues when I first got it

- Ruth M

I think most people should know that it has a lot more room than what it looks like on the outside.

This vehicle has been absolutely amazing and I am very grateful for having it in my life. It gets wonderful gas mileage, but it seems to be having a few issues in the past couple of months, but nothing that can make me not want it.

- Charlene W

This car is really reliable and comfortable. A great family or one-person car.

Like..It is cute, mechanically sound, easy to park due to short wheel base but still has lots of room inside, great gas mileage..... Dislike..Headrest is very uncomfortable, suspension makes for a rough ride, seats not adjustable..

- Carol S

It has a lot of room for shopping trips to Costco, Ikea, or home improvement stores. But yet is easy to drive.

It is the right size for us. Surprising amount of room for both people and storage. Love that the seats fold down, for many different usage. Great on gas. My husband does bot like the seats, to hard on his back for long car rides.

- Alexandrea D

It is great on gas and easy to drive. Also it is great for a family because it has a lot of room, despite it being a small vehicle.

My Kia is very good on gas and since gas prices are extremely high in Pa, that is a great thing. Also it is easy to drive because it is a smaller vehicle. So far it is reliable and hopefully it stays that way for a long time.

- n n

Good on gas mileage, and comfortable seating for long trips.

My Kia soul is great on gas mileage and comfortable too on long trips. It has a sunroof with two positions which is great. The mirrors fold in so not much issues getting them knocked off. Dislike the rattle noise in the car.

- Darrel B

Great safety ratings for young drivers.

I love the size of my car. Not too big not too small. I like the visibility that it has. I have very small blind spots. I do not like that I have no arm rests. I do not like that I do not have a touch screen or navigation.

- Stephanie N

My car is good to get around in town. I can fit car seats in it so easily.

My vehicle is so awesome. It's good for car seats and I love the color. It's is great on gas mileage. It's a nice little car to get around in. I wish I got the nicer version at the time. But what I have will do for now.

- Jess M

The size of the gas tank. And the vent on the drivers side does not have much flow.

I do like the size of the vehicle. It has a boxy shape and for some reason I run over curbs when making turns. The gas mileage seems compatible , but it does have a small gas tank. I wish it was a larger gas tank.

- LILLIAN H

IT HAS BEEN VERY DEPENDABLE SO FAR WITH UPPER 50,000 MILEAGE.

THE CAR IS STRANGE LOOKING. IT GETS DECENT MILEAGE FOR A SMALL CAR. I HAVEN'T HAD ANY MAJOR PROBLEMS WITH THE CAR, ONLY ROUTINE MAINTENANCE AND WEAR. THE CAR IS GOOD FOR A DRIVER WHO WANTS A NICE HATCHBACK VEHICLE.

- Charles w

That it is a great, smooth driving car and is a lot more spacious inside than it appears.

I love our Kia Soul. It has a beautiful black interior with cushioned seats and tinted windows. The features include Bluetooth connection, easy access volume and channel dial on the wheel, and 8 airbags installed.

- Charissa Y

The most important thing is that it is a very dependable car.

I like the fact that my car is roomy. And I like the fact it gets very good gas mileage. It is very comfortable to drive. It has a good sound system. There really is not anything that I dislike about my Kia soul.

- Melissa K

It's a little top heavy, so take it easy on curves.

I have had my Kia for about 3 years, put 80, 000 miles on it, and I have had no problems. Gas mileage is great. . . It gets up to 45 miles per gallon. Its surprisingly spacious inside and comfortable. I love it.

- Lori W

Great gas mileage on the highway and in town. I only have to fill up every two weeks

It has a small engine which makes it hard to go really fast but my gas mileage is great. The seats are comfortable and the car heats up and cools down fast. The car for looking so small has quite a bit of space.

- Ashlyn E

My car is dependable.I never worry about mechanical troubles as long as I maintain it according to the guidelines.

I purchased my KIA Soul as a used car about two years ago. It's the perfect car for me for scooting around town and taking an occasional road trip because it's good on gas, rides smoothly and is comfortable.

- Cynthia R

The Kia Soul is fun to drive but isn't a great family car.

I like how it drives; it's very nimble. It has a lot of head and legroom for a small car. I wish it got better gas mileage, and sometimes I have to make a choice between hauling things and hauling people.

- Ellen C

Love the height and width as well as the size , and gas mileage, of the car.

I love the gas mileage It's easy to handle. Very study, even though small. Very roomy. I ,like that the vehicle has height. Because I have had hip surgery the height and width of this car is perfect.

- Kathy P

They should know about The roominess in the front.

I like the roominess in the front. The height is great for getting in and out. I like the way it handles when parking. The only think that I don't like is the rough ride. They need to do something that.

- Deb S

It is a very dependable vehicle.

I like my Kia Soul because it gets good gas mileage. I like it because it is fun to drive. It handles well in all kinds of weather. It also has a very sound system and plenty of room to carry things.

- Melissa G

It's the big car power in the little car package - the mighty mouse, the David in a world of Goliaths

My KIA Soul is probably the best purchase I have ever made of an expensive piece of machinery, as a car, it's a dream. It is my favorite car - and I've driven BMW, Ferrari's and LandRovers. Kia wins

- Monyka B

More room inside than it looks like from the outside.

Comfortable when driving. More space inside than it looks like. Both back seats fold down to make more trunk area. Dislike-blind spot due to wide panel in back between side Windows & back window.

- Loretta C

Don't underestimate kias I will buy another one. Good cars for cheap

No real issues with this car. It has 127,000 miles. I would buy another one. It's a good car for the money. All I ever do to it, change the oil on a regular basis, and putt 2 full sets of tires.

- Mark B

It gets me from point A to B without threat of exploding.

It's got room for groceries and much more. It operates well; No breakdowns or serious hiccups. I don't drive it personally as i have no license. My roommate who drives it is happy with it too.

- Jonathan C

Don't take corners too fast! It can tip over if you take a corner too quick.

I like the size and economical driving gas use) of the car. But I don't like how the headrests in the back seats block too much of my view out the back window, so I removed them to see easier.

- Terri J

The safety ratings on the car are some of the best in the industry. That is the most important thing for me when buying a vehicle.

I like that my vehicle rides good for a small car. The seats are very comfortable and high enough where it's easy to drive and ride in. It's one of the safer cars on the road and I like that.

- Brian i

It is the best beginner car you can buy. It is affordable, practical and fun to drive

It is a great and practical car. I love the spaciousness and the comfort inside, specially for a budget car. I don't dislike anything, I have enjoyed it for 5 years with no mechanical issues

- Alex I

Extremely durable. Good gas mileage. Comfortable and roomy

It's a small family car but not too small. Very comfortable both In regards to the ride itself and the interior. Room enough for my 2 year old daughter in her carseat rear facing in the back

- James F

Small yet roomy and great on gas

I rented a Kia Soul and fell in love within the next month I went to look and purchase one. Best decision I made small compact yet roomy at the same time, great on gas all around great car.

- Venisha S

It is a good reliable car, no frills, but roomy and enjoyable to drive.

It is a good commuter car. Gets pretty good gas mileage 25-30. It is a base model with no fancy features or comfort items. I wish it had leather seats and was more comfortable to drive.

- Cory M

Great looking vehicle that performs with excellence.

Like the mileage the car gets. Also like the overall performance of the car, as well as the comfortable ride. Dislike the rough ride when going over railroad tracks, very hard and bumpy.

- Tom W

Most important thing about the vehicle is that you should read the manual.

Great on gas, and has only been in the service area for computer problem and steering wheel problem, both were repaired under warranty. This is a vehicle that I would recommend to others.

- Christopher M

Gas mileage is good. The ride is great.

No issues here. My car is reliable. It has provided me a shelter. It makes me happy. It came used but it was upkeep and had a lot of extra features I didn't have to pay out of pocket for.

- Ashley I

Never buy a Kia unless your old and go nowhere

It sounds like your in a box, it echoes. Can't go far on a tank of gas because tank is so small. Can't go many places because it gets stuck super easy. It's not a family spacious vehicle

- Courtney A

It has great gas mileage for the size of the vehicle.

It has been an incredibly reliable vehicle. There is more storage space than it appears, but definitely an adjustment after driving a minivan. Overall I love it. Wonderful gas mileage.

- Dawn H

Love the versatility of this car

Love this car. It is roomier on the inside then it looks. It is also extremely versatile. I have carried from groceries to wood pellets. And the car is very easy to get in and out of.

- Cindy F

Economical, roomy and fun to drive

It's small but plenty of room for me and my two dogs or outdoor gear. It was inexpensive compared to many other cars it's size. It's comfortable to drive and gets great gas mileage.

- Michele H

Almost as good on a road trip as my older Cadillac

Really a great vehicle for the money Comfortable with a lot of room for two plus size adults Only complaint was I didn't really like any of the colors offered the year we purchased

- Ruth L

2013 Kia Soul bought new and has been a great family car.

I have not had any problems with my vehicle. It has been a great family car for travelling both long and short distances. Maintenance has been fairly easy and the dealers are great.

- Drew K

Seems small but can fit a lot, gas's is great and is super cute and fun to drive.

I enjoy the size, it allows me to fit in anywhere. The fuel economy is pretty impressive and it drives really well. I can fit a lot in it for its size. I live it, it's cute and fun.

- Rachel F

My 2013 Kia Soul and how it runs.

My car is overall very good. It runs well and doesn't have many problems. I get good gas mileage. The only problems are that it's not that comfortable for long trips but it's nice.

- Amethyst B

How useful it is when wanting to go long distances but not have to pay for a lot of gas

It is small, compact, and does not require a lot of gas consumption. As a drawback however it cannot carry as much as our other car and does not do well when the roads freeze over

- Olivia E

Low miniatus, good gas mileage and handles great!

I love the way it drives and handles. The air conditioning and heat are great. I also like the look of the car on the small size but roomy inside. Low maintenance and easy on gas.

- Catherine G

It has good gas mileage. It rides really smooth. I enjoy driving it.

I love my Kia. It's spacious enough for the things I need and want to do, but not so big that I feel like I'm driving a bus. I really haven't found anything I dislike about it.

- Maigan W

It is reliable and is easy to park because of how short it is.

I like how smooth it rides. I like how it looks and how small the car is. However, I do not like the small trunk space, small backseat, and how easy the black seats get dirty.

- Jasmine S

Love my Kia Soul and would buy one again!!!

Haven't had any problems other they wear and tear repairs. This car is a 3013 Kia Soul with 160,000 miles. It's a very reliable car always starts and has never broken down.

- Ker Q

When passing, make sure to not only use mirrors, but also turn your head. Does have a blind spot.

I like the ease of getting in and out of the vehicle. The size is great for 4 people to travel comfortably. Dislike that it does have a blind spot and need to be careful.

- Alice F

Absolutely great gas mileage.

I absolutely love the gas mileage on my car. It has a great amount of pep for such a small vehicle. I will go with a bigger SUV for my next vehicle, I just need more room.

- Christina F

It's a good quality car for an affordable price. It gets very good gas mileage.

The Kia Soul is very economical. It runs very smoothly ang upkeep is affordable. The box shape can make it a little difficult to handle in strong winds and sharp curves.

- Daniel C

I really like my soul. I will drive it till it dies

Great fuel mileage, but is a little bit difficult in high winds. When driving in the Great Plains the car is difficult to keep straight due to the boxy shape of the car

- Matt C

It is a very safe vehicle.

It has great gas mileage, and is very safe. However, there are several issues that, when the vehicle is brought to the dealership, are explained away as being "normal".

- Vincent G

Very well built gets good mileage

I love the way it looks and the sunroof and the roominess of the interior. The a/c and heat could better it either gets too hot or too cold have to adjust it constantly

- Claudia A

One important thing other should know is that there is not very much trunk space!

I love my kia! I got into a car accident in which I should have been severely injured but the airbags and safety basically saved my life. It's cute and perfect for me!

- Kristen F

It drives really well. Has an eco button which does seem to save gas

Very comfortable, back seat has a lot of room. I've camped in my car before and it stayed cool. Sometimes it gets extremely hot if I haven't driven it for a day or two

- Kasey O

Drivers: You won't believe the comfort!

I like the roominess for the driver even though it is a small car. Unfortunately, the backseat is cramped and makes it difficult if using car seats for younger ones.

- Bill K

It's very functional, but stylish too. It's gets pretty good gas mileage

It's stylish and great for short trips. It's very comfortable and surprisingly roomy in the back. However, there is little trunk space. It does get great gas mileage.

- Michelle V

This car is great for everyday commuting where mileage is great and a full tank can last a week.

My Kia Soul is reliable as it is good on mileage and drives smoothly. I wish the vehicle was wider so I could fit more items inside. No complaints so far to mention.

- julius L

It's very good on gas. It helps when my partner drives two hours from and to work 6 days a week

Our cars really reliable and good on gas. It's also bigger on the inside than it looks on the outside. Enough room for our family of four with strollers in the back

- Amber C

It's adorable and fun to drive. Relatively affordable compared to other automobiles.

Love high seating, Stereo sound, Phone bluetooth. Would love to have a new kia. Hate that to keep warranty one has to use Kia dealer that charges exorbitant prices.

- Susie W

Great on gas and provides a great driving experience

I like the size for everyday commuting, the great gas mileage, and how easy the driving is. I dislike the size when I'm traveling need more room to be comfortable

- Shelia C

The soul is a great choice; however for a vehicle of its size I honestly expected better gas mileage.

I love my Kia Soul. It is very roomy. I love the compact design, makes it very easy to park in the city. In gas mileage it averages around 20-25 miles per gallon.

- Amanda V

Bells and Whistles are plenty

This vehicle is quite spacious, lots of head room and plenty of legroom. It rides smoothly and come with quite a few bells and whistles, even on the basic model.

- Jolene P

I like the handling and control of the vehicle. Additionally it has a good radio and sound system. I dislike the small storage space in the back hatchback area.

- Joseph C

My vehicle is small, slightly lifted, compact, and gas efficient.

Reliable, comfy, good gas mileage. The acceleration is amazing and I have had very few issues over the years. Make sure to change your window wipers frequently.

- Olivia C

It is dependable and very good on gas.

My car is reliable. It is very spacious. Good on gas. Has a great sound system. The trunk is also very spacious. You can put the seats down for moving purposes.

- Alice C

Does not handle well in rain. Especially if your tires have any wear on them.

Great car for gas usage, comfortable for small car. Had the car 5 years and have had no major problems. Only thing I dislike, it does not handle well in rain.

- Melanie M

I feel that the main thing other people should know about my car is I love it!.

I love that it is roomy and comfortable to drive. I have no complaints. Only that my mileage is getting high at 120000 and soon I will need a new Kia soul.

- Kimberly Z

I think the most important thing that others should know is that my car doesn't do the best in snow. Since the car is super light it struggles in snow.

I have been enjoying my car completely. I love that it is bigger than a car but doesn't feel huge. The inside has a lot of room and you don't feel cramped.

- Nikki J

The one most important thing others should know about my car and any other car is preventative maintenance.

I like how much room my Kia Soul has inside. You would know just looking at it from the outside. I like that it has decent mileage. No complaints about it.

- Amber J

Very roomy inside with enough elbow room for everyone. Sound system is decent.

Spacious interior, fits 4 adults comfortably. Gas mileage is decent. I notice 28 mph freeway, and 26 regular roads without air running; about 24 with air.

- Jennifer G

Its decently sized for a family of 4.

I dislike the small trunk. I like that I can reach my children to hand them water snacks etc. The Bluetooth makes me feel safe since I can go hands free.

- Melissa G

That it is reliable, and has a lot of room in it. That it can travel about 230 miles on a tank of gas and gets about 23.0 miles per gallon.

I like all the room it has in the back so I can store my golf clubs and take on short trips. I don't like the gas mileage it gets for such a small car.

- Thomas L

I like that It's Easy to handle and parking is a breeze..

I like the height of the car. I like how easy it is to handle. I don't like the bumpy ride when driving in the city.but it drives great on the highway.

- John S

Its small and there is not a lot of room in it. Easy to park because of the size, sometimes hard to find because of the size.

It gets decent gas mileage. Easy to Drive. Small and compact. Does not have a lot of truck / storage space. Hard to really fit 5 people in the car.

- Christine L

Spunky, fun vehicle to road trip with.

It performs reliably. It's a safe car to drive. There are some blind spots so you have to make doubly sure there's no one in the lane when you change.

- Christophe H

Small and compact on the outside, but incredibly roomy on the inside.

My Kia Soul has been a dependable car so far. I have had it for 3 years now and I haven't had any major issues, and it was pre owned when I bought it.

- Caitlin R

It didn't cost a fortune but its cute and fun. Turns on a dime.

I love the way my phone connects to bluetooth and comes through my speakers. I love my backup camera. it can be a little noisy, but I still love it.

- Jill H

Very good on gas extremely roomy.

I use my car for everyday use I also am a traveling nurse have not had any problems with my car especially when I perform routine maintenance on it.

- Jennifer S

Very reliable, with great gas mileage. Very smooth ride.

I like the seating and the upright position, not like sitting low in other cars. The gas mileage is a plus, as is the storage room. Very reliable.

- Mary T

Drives well and is easy to handle.

Bought used. No problems. Really comfortable. I am under five feet tall but have had people as tall as 6'5" sit comfortably in the passenger seat.

- Benji J

There is plenty of room inside.

It is good on fuel mileage. The driver's seat is seat height. And, It's heated! The back seats fold down and I can fit lots of stuff in the back.

- Linda L

It gets great gas mileage.

I like that it is a standard, it is gas mileage, the turn radius. I do not like how hot the car gets or how there are no vents for the backseat.

- Danielle F

It's very safe. Good on gas and drives amazingly well.

The mileage and how comfortable it is. It looks stylish.... I wish it had more cup holders. I also wish the cruise control worked all the time..

- Bridget L

One can haul quite a bit of things and it is not a truck.

I like how compact but it is not too small. I can fit 3 big dogs plus a duffel bag. I wish it has heated lumbar (but that is wishful thinking).

- Kathleen Q

The kia soul is a cost effective, fuel efficient car.

I love the gas mileage the Kia soul gets. It is also a fun car to drive. It does not handle snow or rain very well and has a tendency to slide.

- Henry S

It's great on gas mileage and Its low cost to maintain. It's very reliable and comes with great features, plus Its a standard, I love this car.

Like the compactness. Like the mileage. Like the color, it's a cute olive green. I dislike the little bit of 'storage' room, like in the trunk.

- Azalie D

My car is reliable, runs well, is comfortable for large people.

Like the size, headroom, amount of space for transporting items. Do not like that trunk cannot be opened without unlocking all doors in car.

- Marie T

It looks small on the outside but is very roomy on the inside.

I like how it runs. I like how good it rides. I like all the room inside and seating for 5 people. It's very easy to park in most spaces.

- Roberto B

They should know that it's always messy and that windshields washer fluid reservoir is cracked.

I like that is a relatively small car but it holds a lot and feels roomy. I wish it had more features like heated seats and a backup camera.

- Erin K

It has a lot of room and gets great gas mileage.

I like that I get great gas mileage. I do not like that sometimes my air vents blow out a bad smell according to the weather. No complaints.

- Alyssa W

Great on gas, oil changes are reasonably priced.

It's great on gas on the highway, not so much in the city, handles great, compact but roomy enough inside to move large pieces of furniture.

- Ann D

Great car for the value overall.

My 2013 gets great gas mileage. Plenty of storage in the back. Smooth ride. No center console cover. don't like that there is no spare tire.

- Douglas C

The back compartment falls in if you put to heavy of stuff on it.

It is great car, good on gas. No mechanical issues. Runs smooth and is a good vehicle to get me everywhere I need to go from week to week.

- Breanna J

I love the color of my Kia Soul. It is an off white color, my daughter and I call it pearl.

I love my Kia Soul! It is very comfortable, I am short and it fits me perfectly. The Kia Soul is affordable and I think very attractive!

- Lori C
