I purchased my soul when my son was an infant so the back seat is very flat (for the car seat I had at the time) and roomy. I am almost 6 ft tall so I had to have something with a lot of leg and head room. The front seats are wide enough that they are comfortable when you have on all winter clothing and all as well. This is also my first hatch back and I will never go back to a regular trunk ever!

Great little car that is better than you think!
Very frugal when it comes to gas. More room than you would expect given the size of the car. I have noticed that there are many of these cars on the road. Good car, not expensive, and will last for decades. I have also noticed that Kia is one of the new 'favorites' among young people and people in my age group.

I love my car! It drives like a sedan but has the space of a small SUV. It is great for the dog and for road trips. It gets pretty good gas mileage I would say. I have had it for just about 5 years now and haven't had any major issues which is great! There was a recall on it and they took care of it for me.

Steering wheel issue finally fixed. Otherwise very good maintenance. Has been very reliable and low maintenance. Comfortable with plenty of space. Kia's dealer have not been helpful but have an outstanding mechanic. Would certainly purchase another soule. Gas mileage is not good.

It is a alien green color.
It is has been a good car. Has had recalls and light problems. Sometimes has a tough go at hills and there is not a ton of space but we have 2 kids now which we didn’t have when we bought it. Other than that it has been a good reliable car we have had it for 5 years.

My car is very well on gas and has plenty of space to move around in.
My engine sometimes cuts in and off, but it is very good in gas. My vehicle also has an eco mode to help save gas. Cruise control is very helpful as well. I would recommend this car to anyone who loves to save money. The interior of the vehicle is very spacious.

Wonderful pretend little car.
Great on gas mileage, comfortable, smooth ride, not too many bells and whistles, just enough. The trunk has surprisingly a lot of space. I took three people across the country in it, and it was easy, comfortable, and the gas was phenomenal. I would ask they get better paint. My car is only a few years old and the paint is very faded.

I truly haven't experienced any problems with my Kia soul that weren't my fault. It is a great car and although it looks small on the outside it can fit many things on the inside. I have run over a few curbs and popped a few tires but that is not the cars fault it is my driving instructors. My favorite thing about my car is probably the Bluetooth feature because it makes it super easy and convenient to play music and answer phone calls. In addition to this, it gets about 30 highway mpg which is pretty good. I did have to get the a new car battery once for it but it was understandable because car batteries only last around three years. The seats are very comfy and I like how high the car sits. The only other negative about it is it is front-wheel drive so it could be better in the snow.

Perfect for short people with no more than 1 kid.
The alignment needs to be adjusted every now and then. It is not really made for y’all people with children. The seats could be a little wider. Although, the car is extremely easy to park and the breaks last a long time. The emergency compartment in the trunk comes in handy for tools.

Cute small family SUV that offers functionality and style.
The Kia soul is the perfect car for any family of 4. It has the room of a full size SUV especially in leg room. I have not had any performance issues. It can climb hills at a good speed. It is really simple to change the oil. Only takes about 15 minutes. The only downside is the trunk is on the small side so you have to get creative with the luggage. Also does not hold a lot of groceries. The headlights are cheap and fall out after a while of driving the car. This is overall a great car/small SUV and it is cute.

What a great, everyday car.
Love the car. It is a great size to drive around things and pets, it is also helpful when moving house. It is a great everyday car. The gas mileage is good too, average around 25-30 miles per gallon. I have not had any major issues, only with the battery, but that was from normal use.

It has cool led lights in the dashboard. The mileage is really good, gas is cheap and lasts. Smooth driving, good breaks. Not the best tires. It is very comfortable and also the rearview mirror has a really cool blinding feature from headlights behind.

The only major thing that has happened is the alternator went out, but was replaced for free under warranty. My radio has also been out for a while, because of the alternator. My good little cube (Kia soul).
My car is pretty good! It is lasted over five years, and counting. I inhabited it from my dad, and he said it was realizable enough for to get from home all the way to the city (which is a good 20 odd miles away). Gas mileage is okay. Not the best I have seen, but definitely not the worst. And I love the compact little shape it is got. Overall, I love my car. It is been with me through everything. The only downside is the small was of it.

The most reliable car I have driven.
This car has been nothing short but reliable, I have never found myself on the side of the road or in a bind because of my vehicle. It has had one battery replacement in 7 years, which was last year. This car performs well in the winter and all seasons, has great a/c and heat. The speaker system is also very impressive.

Sometimes runs smooth and takes where I need to go.
Reliable but sometimes have trouble starting, interior is mildly maintained but not up to date technology. Also there are several scrapes and scratches on the outside it overall it gets me where I need to be so for now it's okay I guess. I wish I could just upgrade but I owe more than what the cars even worth so I don't see that happening in the near future.

Let me tell you about my soul!
I love it, the mileage is great. It handles well and I definitely recommend it and will buy another one.We have never had any problems with it; we take it to be serviced,change oil and filters and check tires ( usually have tires rotated). It will out-perform any vehicle we've had in the past. Many people approach me when I am loading groceries in the trunk and want to know how I like it because they are thinking about buying one,. I think the reliability of the vehicle is what I like the most. I know that the brand Kia lasts a long time and has good reviews. When looking for a car I watched the size to be pretty small, yet still have enough room in the back sweat and hatch. Something that I did not know was a feature of the car when I first bought it that I now enjoy is the lights it has around the speakers. The lights can match with the music making a fun experience when driving with friends.

Not a nice car from Kia they have better cars.
I just do not like how it looks. And people make fun of it and call it a mouse car or a hamster car. It is to small and I always have problems with the tiers I paid to much for it and it is to red in color the interior fabric is hard to clean. I hate the way it drives.

My car has been very reliable no major mechanical problems. I get decent gas mileage. Plenty of room for our family of four. Comfortable ride and affordable price. I would gladly upgrade and get the same model again in the future. It handles great in the snow and I feel very safe. Maintenance has been affordable and handling is great.

The performance of this vehicle is fairly good. At has a quick get-up-and-go. It is a very reliable vehicle. Great for a family. However if you do have a larger car seat for your child it is a little tight. The car has nice features like Bluetooth hands free. I would like it to have automatic headlights but it does not.

The perfect travel companion, reliable, affordable and cute.
My 2013 Kia soul is the most reliable vehicle I have ever owned. Although on the outside it looks very small it is quite comfortable and seats for people with enough leg room. I am able to drive it all up and down the coast of California and have never once had an issue. It performs very well no matter the roads we drive.

No problem with the car. Great on gas. The car has an awesome turn radius. The seats are not so comfy but it does the job. Tires are relatively cheap for this module, brakes are on par as far as pricing. The car heats up quickly on cold days. The price of a replacement battery is up there. Too bad it didn't have auto headlights.

The perfect mini family car.
I had an ongoing issue with my car and replaced a few unnecessary parts because I never had any warning lights come on my dashboard. Finally, when I learned it was my crankshaft sensor and replaced it all my problems were solved. Otherwise, this car is great. Amazing on gas. Super comfortable. Compact yet still spacious enough for my little family of 4. It is literally our family car for vacations and long trips because of how efficient it is. The only thing I wish it had were armrests.

It is the right size for us. Surprising amount of room for both people and storage. Love that the seats fold down, for many different usage. Great on gas. My husband does bot like the seats, to hard on his back for long car rides.

Great cafe overall, pretty good gas mileage. It may not be the prettiest car, or the ‘manliest’ car, but it is reliable. Kia is also pretty helpful, and usually going to the dealership is a pleasant experience. The only downside to the car is that it is not heavy duty, and it is not the coolest shape.

The soul's engine is more than adequate for a car with its curb weight. It cruises comfortably at 70MPH, and is responsive when called on to go faster.
I love the Soul's roomy passenger compartment, responsive engine--it's quick off the mark and easily maintains highway speeds--and window placement, which affords excellent line of sight. The seats, however, are not very comfortable, it is difficult to adjust the headrest so that it doesn't force my head forward, and the MPG is lower slightly lower than advertised.

Lots of legroom, great mpg and great for road trips.
The only problem I have had, is that the wires are soy-based. The first month, after I purchased my vehicle, a rodent chewed up my wiring harness. Its spacious and great on gas. I average 29 mpg. I have put over 10,000 miles on it this year and it is been fantastic. Another con, is that the base model didn't come with a console. You can order one for pretty cheap.

The Kia soul--a good basic car for driving around town, but not for long hauls.
It is a basic model that we originally bought for our daughter. So, no CD player, which I miss. The engine could be stronger. It has no fancy screen to use like on the newer models. It is good to drive, easy to use, but no real seat adjustments like I have had in other models.

This is a small car, but I can fit eight large moving totes in it.
My car really has not had any issues. The only thing is that when it gets cold - my tire pressure light is so sensitive that is says I have a low tire even if I do not, but other than that I have had the car for almost five years and haven't had any issues.

Small but capable of good storage.
This car is the perfect size, small but still has plenty of room to travel. It can also handle more terrain than you would expect. It gets great gas mileage and the hatchback is very convenient. There are some cosmetic flaws that are coming off the car around the doors but that happened after years of use.

Finicky but good car to have.
The only problems I have faced is that every now and then, when I go to change my speed with cruise control on, it takes me off of cruise control. It can also be finicky with its connection to your phone to listen to music and what not. It has not been a bad car though.

Compact yet spacious and economic!
I love my soul! On average I only have to fill up my tank every other week when I use the ecoboost. Never had a problem with this car other than the radio shorting out this year (almost 7 years of owning this car). It is spacious and comfortable on the inside yet compact on the outside! This car has not let me down since the day I got it and has become the most reliable car I have owned so far.

Kia soul four cylinder has great mileage and legroom. Has limited features but does not have to limit you. Spacious trunk when you let the seats down in the back. Four doors allows you to get in and out of back seat comfortably. Not to mention has an updated look to it.

It's a great color and the radio inside is really good. The seats are very comfortable and the steering wheel is very smooth. Kia souls are amazing cars! They drive very smooth and make parking super easy because they're not too long or bulky! In situations where you might be in a tight squeeze this car pulls through. What I really like about this car is it is height from off the ground because when it rains and floods in my area the bottom of my car is not touching the flooding water. Kia souls may seem small from the outside but are very spacious on the inside. The back seats are capable of laying down if transporting a heftier load. The car is very easy to keep clean. The speaker is amazing if you like to jam. My car came with built in speakers that glow different colors. I have had no real problems with Kia souls that would make me give them a low performance rate.

People should know that the gas lasts longer than it claims to.
I have had my Kia soul for over 4 years now. This has been my most reliable car. I did purchase the car already used. Have not had any major issues. I always pass my state emissions with flying colors. When it comes to reliability I feel as though the soul truly helped me during a cross country move. Moved from AZ to NC with no issues. The car is roomier than you imagine with it being more of a compact car. My only con is that my soul did not come with a spare tire. Other than that, I would recommend this car for anyone who needs a family car or just an everyday to work and out and about type of car.

Very good on gas mileage!
My Kia soul is awesome on gas, I can go on a full tank for over a month. It is small so I can get into just about any parking space. It really has some get up and go for a 4 cylinder engine, and handles really well on curvy roads. I also love the Bluetooth capability as I can answer the phone hands free!!

Changing oil and what makes it the best.
The vehicle has over 188,000 miles and its still running strong. As long as its well maintained it keeps going. Changes the transmission oil once but need to change the transmission oil a second time. The color is blue but I've heard that the best color is red.

The interesting details about my car is the rear view camera.
The car is low and when you hit any type of bump you feel it intensely. The car is small so I wouldn't suggest buying if you have children... However, the car is great on gas and has luxurious interior. I have heated leather seats, touchscreen monitor, rear view camera, the speakers light up, and I have a sunroof!

The good and the bad and the ugly.
It pulls to the left, and the driver side headlight does not last more than 6 months. When the car goes over 70 mph starts to shake. The positive is I have not had to put a lot of money into it. The sound system in the car is pretty good, and it gets really good gas mileage.

Auto stop is horrible, otherwise soul is a great car.
Bought used and have owned for 2 years, very reliable and drives great the only thing I do not like is the auto stop feature. Always stops at stoplights and it has malfunctioned and had to be worked on. Costly repair. Eco model runs good on gas, just wish this auto stop didn't exist.

Spacious and comfortable with a handful of annoying problems.
The mileage can vary a little too much for our comfort. One day we noticed it was running at 19 mpg! The connectors to the battery have a tendency to disconnect from the battery and ruin the charge, so you have to check for a secure connection every now and again. And they cannot realign the back tires without needing to purchase additional parts and the realignment process takes much longer due to those parts needing to be incorporated. Otherwise, it is a very spacious car even though it appears tiny! I placed my entire dorm into the back from college. It is safe, comfortable, and very appealing to the eyes. The audio system is also incredible. I love my car, even with its occasional annoyances.

It is a great car for families, and is easy to drive.
This is a great car for people who love the SUV/hatchback style but don't want a full-sized SUV. It is a little higher off the ground than most sedans, but is still small and compact. It has so far been reliable, is comfortable, and hasn't had any major issues.

Dependable, fuel efficient car, greet for a small family.
I have owned my Kia Soul for two and a half years and haven't had really any problems. The vehicle has great gas mileage. The vehicle is more roomy than it appears and rides comfortably. It does have louder than average road noise. I feel this is a great car for the price.

My thoughts of my small car.
It is fine. Drives and runs great. Like a go-kart. Very tiny to fit in small space. Would recommend to anyone. Dependable and reliable vehicle. Great for first car or single adult. Couldn't be more pleased with the performance of it. Space may be a little limited. It is. Like a box car.

About my Kia. Space issues.
I bought it for a small SUV type affordable car. We love Kia. It is bigger than it looks. Inside trunk space is not great. It has small hatch entry. Bonus that the seats fold down just enough to fit my kids bike only. Wish it had a roof rack. And there is no spare tire. Zero performance problems and amazing on gas.

Smooth drive, great on gas, great speakers, comfortable seats, very roomy, sleek, truck space, great light features, Sirius XM radio available, optional 5 CD changer available, great control, key and alarm combo key, ecosystem is great, power locks, power windows.

It was a cute hamster car.
Vehicle is a like box shape, really decent on miles, but not good on freeway or road trips. Been a recall but it got fix. You like small car be good for you. The comfort was really good but not long car rides. The features have a lot depends on your model but the best is the top of the line soul.

Beautiful, but beware of maintenance.
The 2013 Kia soul is sleek, modern, and it drives well. The interior is user friendly, and timeless. The car ages well, and as a 2013 does not look older than it is newer models. The oil needs to be checked, and changed earlier than recommended for most cars because sludge gets into the engine if neglected for even a few miles, and can cause the engine to misfire. If the cylinder cannot be reconstructed the entire motor needs to be replaced which can run up to 7,000 dollars which is only about 3,000 dollars less than the market-value of the car itself. So, it looks wonderful and it handles well in rain, snow, and sunny roads. The car is light though so during strong winds tends to be pushed around a bit and can make it uneasy to drive. The car is spacious with plenty of legroom, and has the capability to pack kayaks, surfboards, and bikes.

Affordable and reliable, Kia soul.
Kia soul is very affordable in price, the gas mileage is very good. Is also big inside with the back seat pull down I have been able to even to a move from apartment to apartment. Love the black interiors because it hide spills and dirt. Also, the tires are very affordable..

2013 Kia soul with lots of room and good gas mileage.
My vehicle is very reliable. I have never had any trouble with it. Good gas mileage. Nice looking car with great features. The body of the car is good. Like that it has four doors. Also, like that it has good trunk room. Company does good at communicating if there is a recall.

The benefits of owning a Kia soul.
The 2013 Kia soul that we have is a great vehicle. We haven't had any problems with it since we've had it at this point but we love the way this car drives. It seems to be very reliable and is very roomy. The design of the car makes it great for shopping we can let the seats down and have a lot of room for our groceries and other things we may want to have at home. We can put things in this car that we couldn't put in a smaller car. I would recommend a Kia soul to anyone who's looking for a great drive in space I love this car.

My enjoyable experience owning a Kia soul.
Good gas mileage. I am able to fit a lot in the vehicle with the rear seats folded down. No unexpected maintenance or repairs have occurred. Plenty of cab space. Seats sit up high and help improve visibility while driving. Some rust has developed where seats are attached to the interior floor and at the fuel tank release lever. Nice and compact for easy parking while still roomy enough for up to five passengers.

Amazing old model with all the modern conveniences. Very underappreciated.
Amazing features with the GPS system, rear view camera, etc. The interior is just as s**y sleek as the exterior (have a cherry red one) with the leather seats. The seats themselves are a little hard instead of poofy, but I guess I'm extremely used to cheap foam and fabric covered seats. Only reason I take off a star is because this is such an old model that the dealerships and workshops hardly give it any respect. They sold it as new with multiple things wrong with its electronics. The rear view camera didn't even work. Sent it to the shop, and it came back with a different problem of a huge chunk of paint missing off of the roof. :P

Very reliable, with great gas mileage. Very smooth ride.
I like the seating and the upright position, not like sitting low in other cars. The gas mileage is a plus, as is the storage room. Very reliable.

Kia soul 2013. I have really good gas mileage. It is a great fit for me.
My car gets really good gas mileage. I am currently needing to get a new tire. It is very reliable. There is plenty of room in my car, especially in the trunk. I have had my car for 3 years now and I am so happy with it. I have Bluetooth capability. I love my Kia soul so much.

It has been a very reliable vehicle in the five years that we have owned it.
It is good on gas rides good good room the AC gets cold drives good I have been out of town with it it go fast.

Kia soul: the lowdown on problems and/or highlights.
My car is very comfortable and easy to use. I do wish the heat on it would heat up faster and the air is a little loud, but overall it rides smoothly and is a nice vehicle. Some other problems include squeaking sometimes when I am backing up, the aux cord sometimes not working, and difficulty adjusting the seat.

Fun to drive. Good value for price.
Zippy car that gets good gas mileage around town and on interstate. Does not have much power, can be slow to start and can be especially slow if start is going uphill. Mostly been reliable, just had to change factory battery a couple of months ago. Engine light comes on when taking long trips, sometimes comes on in extreme heat or cold.

2013 Kia Soul is perfect for my needs
Great car that gets from point A to point B. Love the sound system. Bought it used with 30,000 miles on it and haven't had to do any fixes on it since I got it 9 months ago. Only had a couple of electrical issues when I first got it
