The Kia Soul is a good dependable car that offers both comfort and performance.
The Kia Soul is very reliable. It has 3 driving modes: comfort, regular, and sport. It has surprisingly more room than it looks from the outside. Everyone has leg room and can sit comfortably. The climate remains nice with a strong air conditioning system. There is a cool storage that is insulated to slow the rise of food temperature in the rear. There is no spare tire which is a minus. The roadside kit comes with tire slime that's supposed to seal leaks until it can be replaced. There is not a lot of trunk space to give more seating space. As long as maintenance is kept up fuel mileage is great. Not recommended going longer on scheduled maintenance as this will lead to a drastic decrease in fuel mileage. Have had to change more bulbs than expected. Headlights are ok but could be upgraded to be brighter. Also had to change the wiring in the headlights due to manufacturer defect which causes the harness to overheat. The Kia doesn't have any issues taking off on highways to merge into traffic. There is a manual mode on the gearshift for driver shifting. There is cruise control. There is also handsfree with steering wheel controls for the radio and connected smartphones via bluetooth or usb connect. There is an auxiliary port that connects to a headphone jack. There is no CD player, however it comes with a Sirius radio option with seperate subscription. It has ecoboost that helps the car to shift in a way that helps save fuel. It has a 12 gallon fuel tank that estimates about 375 miles on a full tank of gas.
