Since I do go to college and commute from home, it is a very safe car.
My Kia Sportage is a very reliable and safe car to drive. It is a bigger car so if you like smaller cars I would recommend something else. There is an aux cord plug in along with 2 places to plug an USB cord in it. Very good on gas and it is in very good shape. The color is gold.

It is made well for the price.
It is made well for the money the warranty is great and it rides smooth and reasonable on the gas mileage.

It's a great car to buy it works well.
The car is a really good car and it has no problems, it works great and it's strong and it was a good choice. I would really recommend this car to anyone wanting to buy a medium size car. The car has had no problems and I had it for 9 years and it's still going strong.

I have never had a Any kind of traffic ticket in eight years.
I have had very few problems with the car. I haven't taken it in for regular maintenance. It Handles very well in heavy snow. I have moved Two households of furniture, traveled all over Arizona and get great mileage. It has never let Me down. I would buy another one.

It gets excellent gas mileage.
I love my Kia! There are only a few things I would change, and it's nothing drastic. I would love for it to be 4WD, and if it were a little longer to allow for more legroom that would make it perfect. I would also love to have a bluetooth stereo installed so I could make phone calls while driving.

Good mileage and drives comfortably.
Love that it rides well on the highways. Dislike can only access car on one side of car meaning no key device to open unlock car.
accountCircle Victoria M
I love how compact it is as a mini SUV but still really roomy inside.
I have had it for over 6 years and I have never had to do any major repairs. Having access to Kia roadside assistance is a big bonus. I love the multiple cup holders and that it is not too fancy with useless bells and whistles. It has just the right amount of extras.

Love my Sportage, great vehicle and reasonably priced.
My car needed a transmission replacement at 15k miles. Other than that I haven't had any major problems. It is wonderful in the snow. I use studded snow tires for better traction in the winter. I can easily fit 2 car seats in it. It is been a great vehicle over the years to grow with my family.

Feelings on the purchase of my 2010 Kia Sportage.
Not happy with make and model of car. I would have preferred for my husband to purchase a Honda accord, Honda Acura, Toyota corolla. I feel like this is a flimsy vehicle. My next purchase will be one the above mentioned vehicles. To my understanding those last longer.

The back of the car can be opened by opening the whole back or just the glass.
It is a well working vehicle. It is a great size yet not too big. The seats are adjustable and the ones in the back fold down for maximum storage. The trunk can also open by opening the trunk or just the glass in the back. It drives smoothly and has a good radio, however, the Bluetooth system does not work properly.

I love the size. It's an SUV and can go off roading but still small in size.
My Kia Sportage has been a very reliable car since I've had it. The size is just perfect for me as it's not too big and not too small. Perfect for a small family. I haven't had much trouble with the upkeep of the car and it has been very minimal maintenance. It's pretty decent on gas for an SUV. City miles per gallon is lower than highway but I think that's normal.

The should know that it is dependable.
The field of vision is not great. The headrests often seem to be in the way when looking to the side and back... My Sportage is a very basic model with few extras... The car has been dependable..

My 2010 Kia Sportage has 148, 000 and it still runs well.
I do not like that the car does not have a recycled air button. I cannot turn on the window defogger without having the smell from the outside, in the car. The head rest on the driver and passenger chair is very uncomfortable. If it could move back an inch, would make it much more comfortable.
accountCircle Cj G
Kia needs a major improvement.
The door started to break also the headrest fell off I am looking to get a new car cause the car is poorly made suggest you get a different car not from Kia. Spend a little more so you can get a reliable car you will not regret it. Also Kia customer service is not good we're I was at it needs improvement and needs a different look for the cars and there buildings additionally Kia need bigger SUVs and faster and more reliable sedans.

The entire back seats area can be folded down to allow for large loads.
It drives beautifully. There is plenty of room for my family of four, even though just by looking at it from the outside you would never guess. The gas mileage is impressive, both in town and on the freeway. I love the Bluetooth set up - it is so simple!

I am happy with my decision of buying my Kia.
It is a good car, it is very comfortable and also is very easy to drive, also its spare parts are cheap and easy to find. Kia Sportage have a good performance at high velocity, also it is good for all the lands. I am very happy with this car, I do not have problems when I am using it.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Rodney P.

All wheel drive. Economical, price was great, low maintenance. This is great vehicle for someone on a fixed income. Insurance is affordable. Maintenance costs are minimal and parts are easily accessible.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Rodney P.

The vehicle is cheaply built. I cannot think of any cons for this vehicle. Not made in America which costs Americans job loss. There are no further negative things I can think of. Needs to be American made.
