Excellent vehicle, out favorite by far.
We have owned several luxury vehicles-Audi, BMW, and a Land Rover range rover. Both my husband and I agree that the lr4 is the best vehicle we have ever owned. We wished they were still making the lr4 as we would definitely purchase another one. It is a smooth, comfortable ride. Both the front seats and back seat are enjoyable for long trips. Third row is convenient and perfect for hauling extra kids but can also fit 2 adults relatively comfortably. Folding down the middle seat to access the third row is effortless. It is a very quiet ride, hardly any road noise. Handles great in wind, rain, and snow. It has been a very reliable vehicle. We have owned it for 5 years and we haven't had to put hardly any money into the maintenance other than regular routine visits. My dad is tall and has trouble finding a comfortable vehicle but the enjoys riding in the lr4 with all the added headspace. The only thing I would change is the sunroof over the back seat, it does not open and I wish it did. Oh and my kids wish there was a TV. The back up camera is excellent. For a mid size SUV gas mileage is ideal. It is a really fun vehicle to drive. We have fun messing around in the plowed field at our farm and busting through snow drifts in the unplowed driveway. It will be a sad day when we have to retire this one!

Helpful features of the lr4.
The Land Rover lr4 is an extremely dependent vehicle. It is functional on many terrains and has very useful features, such as an automatic “hill descent” option, which is really useful for our long and hilly driveway. Additionally, the car height can be adjusted to accommodate younger children and seniors. Lastly, the 4-wheel drive allows for smooth turns and an overall enjoyable driving experience.

I am in love my Land Rover!
Very comfortable, rides smooth, I love this vehicle! Love how high off the ground it is, able to see over most cars. Fits the whole family in comfortably without considering getting a minivan. Love the back vents so the kids decide which temperature they like. Along with the heated back seats.

A solid ride that does great year round with it is computer driven 4wd!
It takes some getting used to with the engine stopping in eco mode when you are stopped but it always kicks back on when the accelerator is even slightly touched! So happy we got this car, everything from the leather to the rear jump seats everything is just really good quality.

A lot of room and the layout in the car is great for an suv
I like how it looks and how it drives. I like the layout and the room in the car. I do not love the console. And the seats are too upright but great car overall wouldn't want any other car

It's a very safe vehicle in all weather.
Love my rover! Safe and efficient, lots of room for my 3 dogs and large cargo, classy looking. Reliable. Fun!

White Land Rover quite comfy.
The vehicle is very nice except it seems to need repairs quite often. The only complaint I have is that the repairs are expensive and it does not hold much gas which equals a lot of money spent on gas as well. Besides the expensiveness, I love the look and comfort as well as the performance of the Land Rover.

Awesome space and off roading capabilities.
The only issue I have is mainly the software. It seems to have issues from time to time like the icons lighting up even when an issue has been fixed and unfortunately you have to use the Land Rover service department for most software issues. Expensive!

It gets good gas mileage.
I like the brand name land rover, however, I dislike the model that I have. It looks more like an SUV rather than the boxy style look of a range rover. The display board no longer works and it is very expensive to have it replaced.

In love with my 2014 Land Rover.
My 2014 Land Rover comes with so many features I am just in love with it! We have the option to turn on heated seats (front & back), reverse aid assistance, lighted door handles on all four doors, three sunroofs, starts engine with a start button all I have to do is have the remote close to the sensor. Super comfy seats, lots of space, all back seats can be pulled down for more space.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Matthew P.

There is a ton of space, especially with the fold-down seats. Then there is a ton of space for passengers when you put the rear seat up. For a large vehicle, it handles nimbly and has great acceleration. It also averages around 20 MPG, which is great. A joy to drive!

The pros are multiple features that make driving more enjoyable (hill descent, height adjustment, comfortable seats, backseat seat heating, etc.). It is definitely a very comfortable ride, and the tires allow for traction on so many different surfaces. In the area that I live in, it snows very frequently and this baby is able to get me up and down my hilly driveway so easily. It is the only car I can depend upon during the winter months.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Matthew P.

The maintenance costs for the car are higher than I am used to. After you are out of warranty, it is approximately $800 for an annual service call. My last one cost close to $4,000 and I put of another $2,000 repair that was not an immediate need. You can buy a good used car for that amount.

dislikeFilled Nina K.

There are very few cons, but if I had to choose one, it would be that the car takes time to get used to. I am a smaller 5'2" lady, and my kids still make fun of me because of how small I look in the driver's seat, but it is a little bit harder to control in the beginning, before you get used to it.
