Interior Features

Have a seat in the HS 250h and it’s clear that Lexus hasn’t forgotten the luxury part of the luxury-hybrid equation. The surfaces have a premium feel, the design looks modern and the instrument panel is easy to understand and use. Those interested in the environment will also appreciate that about 30 percent of the upholstery is made from earth-friendly plant-based plastics. A tall roofline and legroom-enhancing sculpted front seatbacks make for roomy seating in all positions. The decently-sized trunk benefits from a wide opening, although the battery’s position behind the rear seats means there is no pass-through to the main cabin.

Exterior Features

The 2010 Lexus HS 250h’s exterior embodies the L-Finesse theme that defines current Lexus design. The nose features a three-bar chrome grille and sharply-drawn headlights that lead rearward into a distinct shoulder line. Aft of the doors the shoulder line blends into chrome tail lights which, along with an abbreviated trunk lid and black diffuser-like bumper insert, define the tail of the vehicle. The HS 250h features Normal, Eco and Power modes that alter the responsiveness of the accelerator pedal, allowing the driver to customize the vehicle’s reactions to suit individual driving style. Also helping to maximize fuel economy are the Hybrid System Indicator that shows when the batteries are being charged and when they are being depleted, as well as an Eco light that illuminates when the vehicle is being driven most efficiently. Forget about the hybrid powertrain, and the HS 250h still manages to please with a suspension that strikes a nice balance between responsive handling and comfort. While not exactly sporty, the HS delivers good steering control while isolating passengers from the harsher portions of the pavement.

Sure, its customers want big comfortable luxury cars, but they also want to drive with a clean conscience and perhaps display their concern for the environment. For 2010 Lexus introduces the HS 250h, a hybrid that offers the luxury, technology and comfort expected of the brand but in an efficient and distinctly-styled package. The HS 250h is an entry-level luxury vehicle that slots between the Lexus IS and ES in size and price, although its status as a purely hybrid vehicle means its appeal should extend to a wide variety of buyers.

2010 Lexus HS 250h Premium

I love this car! It gets great gas mileage, has comfy leather interior with electric seat controls, heated and cooled front seats, a easy-to-use navigation system and a great sound system. My only gripe is it's difficult to see out the back window while backing up, but it has a back-up camera so it's a minimal complaint. It has a head's up display that lets you know exactly how fast you're going without looking at the traditional display. The ride is smooth and quiet, but all weather tires are important as this car is low to the ground. However, if you lose traction, the traction warning will sound long before you actually feel it. It's a 4 door sedan, but looks as sleek as a sport model. You have a push-button start with this car and a fingerprint locking mechanism that comes in very handy if you're in an unfamiliar neighborhood at night and don't want to have your keys out. I enjoy driving this in the neighborhood and surrounding city, as well as on the highway and on long distance trips.

2010 Lexus HS 250h

I love that the car is a hybrid. It conserves a lot of energy and is great I gas. The gas usually lasts me about a weeks and 3 days. That including driving it to and from work which is a 30 minute drive. The car is very comfortable and small. The car is a push start and includes a navigation system. The only time I do not like at the car is that the seats are leather and get really hot during the summer. It is a very reliable car. I like how it tells you your tire pressure, gas mileage that is left, and your current speed limit, outside temperature. The ac in the car works great and the car includes a reverse camera.

2010 Lexus HS 250h

The hybrid engine is truly integral to the performance of the car, which achieves over 35 mpg. The heated seats, individual temp controls, and moonroof make the car very comfortable and enjoyable to travel in. The leather interior and lumbar support are also ideal functions. Not only is the car aesthetically pleasing, especially with tinted windows, but it is also luxuriously functional before you even consider the gas mileage.
