Pricey to maintain. Very comfy seats. Beautiful design. Ergonomic. Very sleek. I take pride in my lexus and love it
You will be paying quite a lot for it, and expect a high price maintaining it too

Sporty and Luxury car perfect for a mom on the go.
Love the car good on gas and mileage. Sporty perfect for me and my kids. It's a very desired car from everyone I come in contact with are envious of it. Love the black interior which is sued and leather combined. It is capable to be switched from and automatic to a Manual car. Easy to fix when problems do arise

Great car, just expensive
It's older so the brakes are going out, the engine protector underneath isn't there anymore, paint is kind of fading, but it still works better than most cars. The gas is expensive because I have to use premium. I also have to use a special type of oil for the engine and oil changes can be expensive.

Don't let the size, of the car fool you. This car can get up and go quick!
This car is by far my favorite vehicle that I've bought. I've had some modifications done to it on the outside to make it look more sporty. It drives amazing, I would recommend this car to anyone that is looking for a sporty, and reliable vehicle. It's excellent on gas also, I fill up once a week. One issue I have with the vehicle is the lack of air vents for the back seat. There are four in the front but it doesn't circulate as much as it should for the size of the car. The only other issue is there is no storage space. Every other car I have had has a middle console or an overhead storage compartment. This model doesn't have either one.

I love it and it has never and any issues. It is a manual transmission
It's a fantastic car, great handling, reliable, fun to drive.

It is extremely reliable and will last the miles you put into it as long as you do basic maintenance.
I love almost everything about it. It has been very reliable for me since I bought it used over 5 years ago. I don't like that it sucks in snow unless it has good snow tires, I don't like that the paint is chipped super bad on the front of the hood and the interior is starting to tear from age and use. I wish the back seat felt roomier as it is my primary car and I now have a child.

It's a very cool car, and i like it a lot. It is a great commuter vehicle.
Nice car. It runs very well,. It handles like a dream.

It runs smoother than any other car I have driven in my 30+ years of being behind the wheel.
I love the older IS300 model for the style, handling and power of the 2JZ engine. I dislike how the front tires are constantly chewed up even with proper alignment. I wish the gas mileage was better, but I do not want to trade or sell the car.

Lexus saves a lot of gas but have some problems too.
I got my car as salvage with 88000 miles. The headlights were not good; both lights were peeling. Sometimes the other light turns off in the middle of the highway but when turned off and on, it turns on. Also, the track on and off as well as the check engine lights are malfunctioning. The lights turn off by itself in some time, but blinks back again when it wants to.

Pros from Owners

likeFilled Sandy S.

Stylish, drives good, has lasted me many years, dependable, gas is ok, still looks good even though the car is quite old, comfortable, good amenities, good warranty, picks up speed when you need it to.

Cons from Owners

dislikeFilled Sandy S.

Does not have a lot of features, no Bluetooth, USB chargers, the leather was not good quality, all my seats are ripped, the space on the back is very small, people who ride in the back are very uncomfortable.
